Worst restaurant in the world. Staff ignores you. They don’t notice online orders so it is pointless, you have to go in and tell them you have an online order on their machine so it is pointless. Then you have to wait 30 minutes for your order. Happens every time!! With DoorDash too you will wait forever with very rude employees that act like they don’t care at all and hate their jobs!

I was really impressed when we visited here last night. The customer service was great from the time we walked in. I also made a mistake when ordering and they corrected it without a charge even though it was my fault. I surely appreciated that. The dining area was clean, food was hot, and the whole family left full. Thank you!

Nice for fast food. Not as fast as some places. But not bad wait times. I haven’t had a problem here. I’ve had the sandwiches, bone in wings, tenders, mashed potatoes, fries, biscuits from here and all were good. All crispy and juicy. My sister tried my original hot wings and sent her husband to go and get some for her and she doesn’t like fast food.

Admittedly did not go inside the store but the employee of the window was so friendly and helpful. We did an app order and our food was still hot and fresh and we live 6 mi out of town. Everything was delicious!!

Look the chicken, fries, and Mac & cheese were all very good. The wife hated the Cole slaw, said it reminded her of toothpaste, but scarfed down my red beans and rice so quick I never got a bite. This place has a lot of bad reviews b/c of a lot of labor shortages when it first opened just after covid. That has not been a problem the last few months I've been here. The fact is most of the food (except Cole slaw) is very good for fast food level, the staff does a good job of getting orders out quickly and accurately, and you can't really beat the price. I probably like chicken express a little better, b/c they have okra but they are about 30% pricier. And Popeye's still has the most delicious chicken sandwich and offering shrimp and red beans and rice means they are my preferred chicken spot in cleburne hands down.

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE DRIVING OFF!! I ordered the 1/4 pound crawfish with French fries and a side of rice and beans. I did NOT check my order and got home to find no rice & beans in my sack... They were on my receipt though!! Live & learn - I knew better!!!

Cashier could not hear me beyond the Covid glass, and gave me the large fries but regular soda= same price. The dining room had a trey on a table full of trash from a Customer who'd been gone... some time before we got there. And, we were given our order to go when dining in. Smirk? Food was good and hot!!!

We arrived at drive thru @ 9:00 the girl at window could not hear us, we could hear her perfectly, so she asked us to pull to window. We didn't know yet what we wanted as this is only the second time to eat here. We get to window & start asking questions about menu & the girl was plumb rude, she answered questions & took our order one by one entering them at register, gives us our drinks then rudely asks us to pull forward. There was already a truck pulled up waiting and no one behind us ( to me having 2 vehicles infront of drive thru with no one else in line @ a restaurant is not a good look for business, no matter what time it is). After pulling forward we sat there for 26 minutes, so the person ahead of us had to be waiting nearly 30 minutes. I was not impressed at all with the meal especially for that price $53 for 3 meals!! Jeezus! I won't be a returning customer..

I went through the drive-thru and ordered a wrap and ask them to leave the pickles off so they just remove them quickly wrapped it back up and it still had the aftertaste of pickles which I hate!

Please replace whatever keeps the Drive Thru attendant from being able to hear anything being said by the customer. Screaming at an intercom is… annoying to say the least. If it’s the attendant, she needs to let someone else do it. Holy cow… as someone who is always criticized for speaking too loudly, I’m still in disbelief that I had to yell.

Everything was fresh and delicious have absolutely no complaints about that but, the service was not as nice, whoever was at the window today around 4:45ish was absolutely disrespectful. I understand we have bad days and I’m hoping that’s the case and sending prayers to whoever that young lady was. But just a reminder kindness goes a long way! WWJD

Worst Popeyes I have ever been to. The cashier looks like they would rather be anywhere but here. The ghost pepper chicken wings are dry and hard. They are not even spicy at all. I have always liked Popeyes, but this location is just bad

Food is good. However we were told “5-7 minutes” for our order and waited over 20 minutes. The employee who brought out our food was extremely rude and unprofessional. Im sorry but waiting 20 minutes for “fast” food is absurd. Will not be back.

I’ve been coming to this Popeyes for 6 months and have finally experienced my last visit Monday! I ordered 18 wings, got home and instantly food poisoning hit! My husband and I have been SICK AS DOGS since Monday night! Not only is their customer service bad, I tolerated it going online orders to avoid dealing with the unpleasant people! They’re exceptionally slow and now with major food poisoning we will never go back!

I do not understand why they accept mobile orders and you still have to wait EVERY TIME you get to the store??? The food is great, the orders usually accurate, but the staff at this one SUCKS. I have gotten to where I call after placing mobile order, to make sure they are paying attention and see it (had that several times) and ask them to go ahead and prep it. Still wind up waiting. Staff needs to do better.

The food is good. Employees don't care about the customers. They are too busy playing around and talking to their friends in the drive thru as customers are waiting for their order. I had to wait about 10 minutes for their friend's car to move so I could get my order that wasn't even prepared. BAD BAD service at the Popeyes in Cleburne.

The food was good, the service was below par... was not addressed right away when at counter! The employee didn't even acknowledge me when asking for condiments. The same employee was sitting at a booth taking drive-thru orders otherwise playing on her phone!

Clean-ish tables. Drive thru staff terrible I had to go inside to try and hear. This happened on two occasions, one was with my spouse and the staff got the order completely wrong. The chicken sandwiches are amazing. Soda has too much syrup not enough fizz.

I went here with my friends and they had to remake our sandwich’s 4 times in a row and they got it right by 6th time and we were really hungry that day I will not be coming back to this place even if the food was free I would rather starve my self and btw this was one of my friends sandwiches that he had to stop eating because this is how it looked.

Just terrible, I never one to go eat at Popeyes but my husband stopped there and I was coming out of a picky eating moment (pregnant). So I told him to get me a spicy chicken sandwich and he got an individual box for himself of spicy chicken. But when we got our order my sandwich was not spicy. So he told the person at the window several times of his box contained spicy chicken and they said yes. But turns out it was not spicy at all, so he went in and they again said it was spicy chicken. Obviously we know if something is spicy or not and it was not spicy. So just a disappointment of not getting what we wanted and being lied to several times .

Went to the drive through, the menu board wasn't working. Fortunately I had looked at their menu online before going. The lady on the speaker at first didn't know which combo that I wanted, then told me they didn't have it. Clearly she didn't know the menu where she worked. I won't be going back. Hopefully this location goes out of business and becomes an In and Out.

Yeah if I could give a negative score I would. Didn’t get hardly anything I paid for. Woman taking order didn’t speak English. Food is good besides what is cold. Do not expect to get what you pay for if you do not check and double check every individual item. I think they do not respect us as customers and frankly do not care how we feel. I am repulsed and upset I didn’t get 10$ of the meal I ordered though it is only my fault for not checking my bag before leaving. I feel disrespected and disgraced hope anyone can see this and think twice.

Chicken was not fresh.. tasted like it was at least a day old and refried. Meat was dry and tough. The constant eye rolls from the staff was wild. Not sure why they had so much attitude with us but the point definitely was made.

Just curious why is it so difficult to complete an order correctly. Something as simple as the dipping sauces for 2 of the 3 orders I made. Muscle memory that's all it is , check and double check to make sure an order is completed. My bad for using door dash thinking that their were actual competent people working at this place. Oops then I took a drink of my sweet tea. Nope sure wasn't.

Went through drive-thru 2 hours before closing. Got chicken tenders meal. Drove home. Chicken was old, cold and dry and so was the fries. Don't recommend at all.

I went through the drive thru and ordered a 3 piece chicken dinner. I started to pull forward when I realized the young man that took my order never asked if I wanted spicy or original..so I told him I wanted original on my own. When I got to the window I told him once AGAIN I DID NOT want spicy, when he very rudely said, "Yeah, I know!" I checked the bag before leaving to make sure my order was correct but didn't think I needed to taste test if it was spicy or not since I literally mentioned it twice! Well, needless to say, I get all the way home in Grandview and guess what?! I had SPICY chicken! In fact, it was so spicy it wasn't even edible🫤🙄🥵

I ordered food from the one in Cleburne today it was 41 dollars not really saying anything about price but for that price I expect good food and it’s was very bad I went through the drive through the young man handed the food out and said here you go never said thank or how is your day or have a good day.Just wanted to say I’ll never do business there again or recommend anybody else do business there.

I got told to pull up and wait out of the drive through parking lot when I was the only customer at the place. No one showed up during my whole visit here. Had to wait 17 minutes just for one chicken sandwich. Worst Popeyes I’ve ever been too. Please shut it down it’s bad I swear. Dude at the drive through was rude too when I was polite. We went through the drive thru, and the employee taking the order was extremely rude. She wouldn’t speak up, so we couldn’t understand a word she was saying, and then when we started to finally order she just had a terrible attitude. Once we got to the window, she handed us our food, and we asked for sauce, and she interrupted us without giving us a chance to finish to ask how many sauces we wanted. She then gets us our sauce, and hands us our drinks and says thank you, while she still has our card. We then remind her we need our card, to which she replied with “well it’ll be ready when it’s done.” During this entire time, when she took the orders of other customers, she was still very rude. When she finally gave us her card, we politely told her we think she should work on her customer service, and she didn’t let us finish saying anything, before replying with “Oh really? Oh really?” and slamming the window in our faces. Both my fiancé and I have been managers in fast food for years, and I was an assistant manager in a store. We weren’t trying to to be rude, but after working in a fast food job for years, I don’t think I would ever handle customers like that, and I certainly never took criticism that way.

If you like being parked at the menu for 10 minutes while there's one car ahead of you gabbing with the staff this the place for you. So we decided to leave as we did we noticed a couple of cars decided to leave with us. The Chick-fil-A down the road was a better option anyway. Will never try this place again. Ordered the shrimp. We don't carry shrimp anymore. Why is it on your menu? We don't have shrimp anymore. Change order. Chicken strips with Mac n cheese. We don't have Mac n cheese anymore. What the fak on your menu do you still have. Chicken and fries. Absolutely ridiculous 🙄

We went through the drive through, waited for 10 minutes to be asked for our order. Then once we got our drinks they were completely wrong. We didn't get our food for another 20 minutes of waiting. They are completely understaffed.

I ordered a 12 piece family with side of mashed potatoes and side of red beans/rice. What I got 20 minutes later, even though I wa the only one there in the drive thru was regular chicken and the absolute most bland red beans and rice iny life and the container was not even full. The mashed potatoes were good. However, we only had 1 breast, 1 thigh, 1 wing, 3 legs, and the rest were backs. When I was kid in Alabama, in 1979-1980, I worked at the Gadsden Popeye's, and was we took great pride in our work. When I got home to Alvarado, I tried calling at 10pm and it rang and rang. Nobody answered the phone. Same thing this afternoon. I guess their all to busy smoking out. The Managers all need a kick, right out on the street. CLEBURNE POPEYE'S SUCKS!!

Would be nice if the owner communicated with the customers about what is going on. There are several community pages to communicate to us through. No one knows what's going on. Are there issues within the store that needs to be fixed, issues getting products to make orders, issues with employees? Are you permanently closed? Temporarily closed? Only open certain times of the day or certain days of the week? What?? If you finally do open full time with a full crew people will be so fed up with you they won't want to go. Communicate so that they may still support you if you do open full time.

All I can say is just don't waste your time. If you want to wait a ridiculously long time for "fast food" this might be the place for you. It took them 30 minutes to get our order to go. Then when I was missing something and the nice guy was trying to fix it, one of the girls who had just got done yelling at him in Spanish for not doing her job decided to stand there and argue with me and the young gentleman behind the counter that I was wrong and she put everything in there. So needless to say I had a few words with the little gal and we will not be back. Unfortunately this is not a first time thing with this same kind of experience this has become what you expect from this place. I have been a lifetime Popeyes fan, but I guess Cleburne TX truly is where restaurants come to die!

Ordered online on the app. Got to the drive thru and was told to pull up to the door. Pulled up and waited for 15 minutes. My husband went in to ask what the hold up was, she asked if ours was the mobile order. He said yes, she looked behind her and grabbed the bag on the counter and said "I guess everything is in there". Hands it to my husband and walks away. Rude and very unprofessional!

Everything in our order was either missing or wrong. No straws, no kids drink, no pickles on any sandwich, and we thought was had caught the mistake when they tried to leave out a whole sandwich and ranch and beans , come to find out as soon as we get home the rest of it is almost all wrong too. 1 star for sure. Horrible all the time and not worth your money. Always have a attitude and put you on a long wait to order. As if they dont want to be bothered. Its sad because this location is still fairly new. Once you wait 29 years to order you have to wait to get your food another 29 years to only get 3 fries. I wont give this location my bussiness.

Honestly the worst Popeyes location. We pulled up and ordered two combos. The employee over the intercom said only one of the combos came with a drink and we would need to pay extra for the other. After getting to the window to pay and receive our food, another employee who could barely speak or understand English came from the kitchen to tell us they were out of Chicken strips and wanted to replace them with a substitute. A third employee arrived at the window to take payment and told us the total would be almost $40 for 2 combos. We then asked for him to repeat our order and somehow several more items got added on to our bill such 6 extra biscuits and much more. We cancelled our food and left empty handed. I honestly don’t know who’s in charge at this location but things need to change.

My order was wrong let's start there. I called in multiple times they would answer and act like they couldn't hear me. I finally get a hold of someone that doesn't play with the phone. His first remarks is "did you eat the chicken?" My reply was no I just got home this isn't $65.00 dollars worth of chicken. I ordered 2 meals with 10 spicy tenders and 2 sides then 8 spicy legs. WAY OVER PRICED AND CAN'T GET THE ORDER RIGHT...I now am asked to drive 30 mins back to that location so they can make my order right? NOT AT THESE GAS PRICES.. THE REASON WHY I STOPPED ON MY WAY HOME. TERRIBLE LOCATION HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING SOMEPLACE ELSE.

Ordered food online charged my card got there at 930 to pick up and all the employees were outside hanging out with all the lights out. Couldn't even get into the parking lot because they had cones up. This place is trash needs better employees and management when a place says they close at 10 pm that does not mean you shut everything down and lock the doors at 930. After being charged for your food. Very disappointed I do not recommend this place. Definitely do not order your food online. They will charge you and you will not get your food TRASH!!!!!! ZERO STARS FOR ME.

I almost never go out of my way to leave bad reviews, but that was the worst Popeyes experience I've ever had in my life. I ordered two spicy blackened chicken sandwiches and an oreo cheesecake at the window and was told it would be 5 minutes. If I had been told it would be much more than that, I would have just asked what was available immediately instead. I hadn't eaten all day, I was very hungry, it was late, and I still have work to do today. After TWENTY MINUTES I finally went inside to ask for whatever was available instead, I was completely ignored, and after a few minutes one of the employees walked outside with my food, still ignoring me, as I tried to ask her if it was mine. Turns out it was. The sandwiches, as always, are great.

Im so tired of pitiful service, and i would say what do you expect with fast food but now its just as expensive as a restaurant. Mostly though its the terrible customer service. It drives me insane. Pay attention or hire someone that will, and smile for once. Edit: came again because that chx sandwich is so good. Service was trash again. 😂

I placed a mobile order and it took 25 minutes for it to be ready. I arrive and get asked to pull forward, I wait 10 minutes and go inside. I ordered the new BBQ wings, and Garlic Parmesan wings. No apology for my wait and when I open my food it is TENDERS DRIZZLED with barely any sauce. I go back inside and all the lady said was the guy didn’t shake them. Again no apology. I ask for a refund she tells me I need to go through the app, takes the food and goes to the back. I ask to speak to the manager and of course the 2 most unprofessional people are the managers. This location is so unprofessional, and definitely needs to reevaluate who they have as managers.

Showed up an hour before closing and they were already trying to close everything down, us and three other cars were all asked to pull forward in the parking lot as we sat and waited to help their drive through time. They seemed more interested in closing than doing their actual job.

I saw people leave due to the front person having bad customers service. I tried to explain why they left. All he had to do was ask " How may I help you". We then sat down after ordering and after 30 min I realized they hadn't put our order together. So as they scrabled around to put our order together. I spoke to the manager in spanish. I told her about the customers leaving and advised her not to have that employee up front. Manager said she doesnt have a choice. She can't speak English. Then proceeded to serve us fish that was sitting out for now 45 min. This is not a good way to be a successful Popeyes when you have KFC next door. We should have just gone with the place we know best. KFC, Canes, or chicken fil a.

This was the second time I visited this location. I was disappointed both times . Horrible Customer service, I was the only customer, yet I still waited 20 minutes to order and 10 minutes more to receive my order. I paid $ 47.00 for this!! I was so irritated I left without checking the bag. Once home I discover we are missing the 2 large sides, dipping sauces and was given small drinks even though we paid for large. Then couldn't eat the chicken it was all undercooked 🤢 my son ate some before he noticed and he spent the rest of the night sick🤮 I will never go back. I have tried other locations and they're all good it seems to just be this location in Cleburne.

If you don't feel like waiting 20 to 30 minutes in the drive-thru just for your order to be screwed up, I suggest not wasting your time and/or money here. I've gotten food from this Popeyes 3 times, and every single time, my order was wrong. Tonight I ordered ONLINE...there was plenty of time to not screw my order up. I won't be giving them anymore chances. I hope it goes out of business.

8pm. Was told there was a 15minute wait for chicken. They finally came back to take my order say that it's 15 minutes for chicken again and they are out of red beans and rice. The Cleburne Texas restaurant service is going down hill fast, starting to remind me of the last time Popeyes was here and shutdown because of poor service. What a shame.

The restaurant was dirty from the restroom to every table. The “manager” on duty could not comprehend how to refund $4 for a side they didn’t have. They were out of sides at 8:30pm and they closed at 11. This place will be closed if they don’t take these poor reviews seriously. For $40 for a family of 3, the service should be outstanding and it was the worst customer service I have encountered from a fast food restaurant and that is saying alot!

Ordered a family meal on the app.When I get there,the cashier told me to pull up and he would have it right out. I pull up,wait 15 minutes,then he comes out to tell me that it’ll be about 12 minutes because they ran out of chicken from filling other orders-THERE WAS NO ONE THERE!!! I go in and TRY to talk to the manager but she can barely speak English.She claims that I have to cancel my order on the app to get a refund. I show her that I can’t and she walks off because she really doesn’t care.How is this place still open with such horrible service?!!!

Being a previous GM at a competitor location Is what brings me to leave this review? On August 17, 2024 at 9:20 PM I went to the drive-through and was told that they only had bone in chicken. I asked you don’t have strips ? The reply was no sir. I said what are you all out in the response I was given confused Me, I was told no we are fixing to close. I said you do not close until 10 o’clock. We are out is what I was told. I understand completely waste, labor, and numbers equally out for a store. However, with 40 minutes left I should’ve been informed that there would be a wait, but they would make them. The next day on the 18th I called to speak to the manager, and some young girl answered, and I was trying to explain the situation in a response of Clearly, not caring she was like oh OK , then got quiet, I said well clearly you do not care because no apology no offered to compensate or interest was given, I informed her that I would be trying to contact the GM or corporate The following days after the phone has been off the hook and busy. Then When I looked up the reviews for this location, it was no surprise to find their rating was very low. I know that at my chicken place when I was GM if anyone ever refused Service because they were lazy Which resulted in loss of profit They would immediately have been terminated. And the manager who had no interest or attempt to resolve the issue or even apologize, would have been demoted With this kind of service and reviews, I would estimate this location will be closed within six months unless there is a complete change and management and staff I will never return as many others have not either

Food was warm at best. Didn't get the extra biscuits I paid for. Was told "he made it harder" by asking if I could get my food I paid for. Waited over 5 minutes to be told it was gonna be another 15 minutes. Someone needs to take accountability. If food is ordered and paid for, it should be made and served as requested. That night, I was the inconvenience. By ordering food. At a fast food restaurant.

I went through the drive through. No other customers were in the restaurant. Both the person taking our order in the drive thru and the person who took the payment and handed out the food were impatient and borderline rude. I ordered a chicken tender meal and the promotional chicken sandwich that was supposed to come with bacon and cheese. When I got my order it was cold and there was only sauce on the sandwich, no bacon or cheese. When I turned back around and went inside, the cashier/worker seemed like they couldn't comprehend my problem with the sandwich, and left the little piece of paper on the cheese when they finally realized what I needed. Then I got back in my car on the road and realized that the tenders meal I had ordered was pieces of chicken and I had to turn around again. I just got my money back and left the food. This is why I don't go to Popeyes. A bad experience all around.

We spent 50 minutes waiting for our food and almost five cars that went before us got their food before we did. We had an online order and it was only after we saw the female manager on duty give a huge bag to a car who JUST ORDERED that we asked where our food was. She said "was it a mobile order?" Haven't had Popeyes in years ...was hoping it was like I remembered.Too much too write, long story short. Long wait, cold fries, dry overcooked tenders, missing sauces and drink, and unconcerned manager who didn't even acknowledge the mistakes.

Stopped by around 4 pm on a Monday. They had 2 people working, 2 cars in the drive thru and 6 people standing in the lobby. My wife and I stood there for about 5 minutes, without even being acknowledged, at which point we decided to spend our money elsewhere. The other 4 people who were also waiting to be acknowledged left as well. I don’t know who owns this franchise but, if it were me, I’d be very unhappy. No customer service, the place is filthy, it’s prettt clear management has no idea how to run a business or how to properly staff. Unless the owner wants to throw their investment in the trash, I’d seriously consider finding competent management asap. Edited to add the following; This location is owned by Sun Holdings 4515 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy, Farmers Branch, TX 75244 Try contacting them because the store management doesn’t care.

I placed a drive thru order on 2/23/25. I ordered 3 naked tenders, mashed potatoes and coleslaw. I was told to pull forward and my order would be out soon. They brought me my order and I left. When I got home (in a different town), I came inside, put away some groceries, put a load of laundry in the dryer and then started to eat my food. It was a fried chicken sandwich and French fries. I am on medication to where I can’t eat fried food, so I couldn’t even eat what I was given. I called to see if I could get a refund and was told that the manager wouldn’t allow it since it had been almost 2 hours since I ordered and there was a shift change and the girl that gave me the wrong order was no longer there. Mind you, it had only been about 1 hour. This is unacceptable!!!!!

Tried Popeyes CLEBURNE- HORRIBLE SERVICE waited with no one in line to order…then sat in line before deciding- not worth the Wait…. Went to Church’s - ordered friendly service and service was QUICK!!!

Grabbed the 8-piece chicken tender meal with fries and biscuits—because who doesn’t love disappointment for dinner? Everything was cold, dry, and tasted like it had been chillin’ under a heat lamp since sunrise. Truly gourmet. Definitely won’t be back to this location. LOL happy Easter! Sorry for the inconvenience of me trying to give y’all some business.

Poor customer service.I Called to let them know some items were not in my bag then i was put on the phone with a girl who put the order together which is very unprofessional I should have been put on the phone with a shift leader or manager. The girl on the phone who put my food together basically called me a liar without saying it. saying I know I put that in the bag all talking about herself not taking care of the situation .I'm sorry that I got very upset with her it wasn't her situation to take care of in the first place.I will not be returning to this restaurant. And customer service training is recommended

Same reviews as everyone else: Drive-thru took forever, was nearly inaudible during ordering, but they did get the order correct. I had to ask for my drinks after the food was brought to the car. The owner/franchisee really should do something about the habitual issues at this place because my family seems to love Cajun gravy 🤷‍♀️

Worst experience ever. We were the ONLY car there, and the lack of urgency from greeting us at the speaker (almost 5min) to getting our food (30min) is crazy! It's almost as if they want you to get frustrated and leave. (3 cars left while we sat and waited) No customer service skills whatsoever, and I'm assuming the manager, Giselle, is just as uneducated as her employees. We also asked for our receipt 3x and still had to go inside to get it because he never came back out to give it to us. What is sad is later, there was a couple that showed up and had placed a large order and was sitting in the lobby waiting and had no idea that the only 3 employees there were not even cooking their food. NO ONE WAS COOKING THEIR FOOD!! Save yourself the time and money. Do not support this location so they can shut down. Obviously, the owner does not care because they have a 2.5 star rating. That alone should tell you everything.

I have visited this location twice for drive through orders. Ordered regular chicken and received all spicy first visit. Ordered regular at second visit and 4 out of 6 pieces were spicy. Cannot eat spicy, so 4 pieces of wasted chicken. Not discovered until I was home 15 miles away. Who takes a bite of every piece before they leave to see if it is the flavor they ordered? Called the listed phone number for the store multiple times and it rings several times and then you get a busy signal. Tried to use chat on Popeyes website to report. Doesn’t work. Will never go to this location again.

Manager was extremely rude! Ordered our food, let them know that their order box was hard to understand, was given the wrong order and when we asked for the correct order the manager got angry and threw all of the chicken we already had out in our car back into the warmer!!! Then proceeded to belittle us because we asked to have our order fixed. The young lady at the counter was extremely apologetic and received rude treatment from the manager as well! Will not be coming back to this place especially with such rude MANAGEMENT!!

When I pulled up there was no line and a whole hour and a half before they closed. The workers were so rude and giving me ugly looks 😐. I don’t expect you to be ecstatic to work fast food, but i also don’t expect you to be rude right off the bat. I didn’t say anything, figured maybe she was just stressed out or had a bad night. She gave me the drinks and told me to pull up and closed the door. I was waiting out there for 15 minutes, a line was starting to form behind me. Some of the people behind me were even getting their food before me. Finally, they brought the food out and not only was the hand off rude but the order was wrong and cold as well. I don’t expect you to be all smiles, I get it, your job sucks. But, also just have decency towards other humans??

Every time i go in there i have to wait in line and i guess because im white and there all foriegn people work there, last time i was in there i was standing at counter five minutes or longer and a hispanic man comes in and the lady behind the counter ignores me and ask him what he wants. When I got there, there were no customers, inside or drive thru. The 4 people standing at the front counter staring at me in the drive thru, looked disgusted that someone even pulled in. When paying, they took my credit card to the back of the store, or at least away from where I could see them. Then had me pull up and wait, for overcooked chicken, hard biscuits and cold beans n rice. I’ll eat bacon wrapped tree bark before I ever go there again. Their attitudes were that of a 12 year old lazy kid. Worst fast food experience of my life.

The customer service inside is almost non-existent. The two employees behind the counter were more concerned about their personal conversation than even acknowledging my presence. After finally being asked what I needed, the food was prepared and sat there boxed up waiting to go while one lady picked through the chicken to take a piece home as she got off work. Still continued to sit there. I considered walking around and bagging it myself so I could get out of there. The food is not even worth the wait. Never again. Not to mention they are always out of something because they don't want to make anymore. Honestly don't know how this location is still open.

Horrible customer service because there is no customer service. It floors me as to how the manager still has her job at this place. She's been there forever and is simply a really bad influence for this location. I've had so many bad experiences there. The only reason I even go there is because I have to pick up food delivery orders and I find myself having to unassign orders on a regular basis because of how they treat people. In my opinion the whole place needs to be looked at by the higher ups and hope that other customers make their concerns heard to the appropriate people in the company.

I leave very few reviews as I understand that I may have visited at a difficult time but for the last two years I have avoided the place based on the girl that is always taking the orders. She is the opposite of what could be considered friendly. I left a review there about a year ago as I was certain she would not still be there. No way any manager would keep somebody that makes tou feel so unwelcome. Wr give it another try this evening and of course Mrs. Personality was there. After waiting 21 minutes for the special, no apology for exceptionally long wait, just the same depressed behavior as she dropped the bag of cold food in my driver window. No how, no way can it really be this bad. She alone guarantees that I'll never return. I've driven through several times over the last year and if I see her, I simply drive away. Theres no way that you haven't had many people that share this uneasy feeling that she gives. I'm just curious if anyone manages the place and if anyone even cares. She's that bad.

Sunday 1-4 @ 4 pm. Husband went inside. No other customers inside. 5 employees. A few cars in drive thru. Waited over 5 minutes and no one spoke to him. He caught the attention of one employee but was ignored. He left. I called and spoke to Giselle. She mumbled in the phone but didn’t care at all. I asked for the owners name and she mumbled and hung up.

Came in the drive through with a simple order: Cajun fries and Mac & Cheese. Instead of fries, they gave me...rice? I didn't complain at first thinking it could be good seasoned rice, but when I tasted the rice it was just bland. They got the Mac & Cheese right however it also tasted weird. If you're gonna hire special needs workers, make sure they aren't handling the customer interactions.

The worst experience EVER! I would prefer to give this store no stars. First, I couldn’t hear the girl was saying because the speaker was spotty. When I go around to place my order, she said it would be 15 minutes for regular chicken so opted for spicy. I still waited fifteen minutes. I went inside trying to find out about my order after two other customers had to go in to see about their order. As I was waiting on my food, the girl who took my order, pushed something in the trash, and proceeded to prepare my order! No gloves and she didn’t wash her hands. Then she went inside trying the back where another person was making potatoes. After she got the potatoes, she brought my food to me without so much of an apology or explanation. If she told me my order was held up for some instant mash potatoes, I would have asked for something else. However, the young man working the front was extremely polite and emphatic. Nevertheless, I will NEVER go back to this store. A part from the young man working, every person in there should be fired.

12/3/25 6:45pm. Who runs this joint? Walked in to a few people standing in line. We were not acknowledged, much less greeted. The drive thru was really busy and the counter was being ignored. Bags were being ran outside past us with not even a "we'll be right with you." Finally ordered. 9pc tenders family pack for dine in. As we waited for our order, I witnessed more customers being ignored. One lady even had to ask if they could order before someone spoke to them. Received our order. In a bag. No utensils or anything to eat our meals on. Ordered dine in, remember? Finally got some sporks and boats to eat from. Looked around for napkins. Not a single napkin in sight and no paper towels in the mens room. While eating, multiple customers came back in from the drive thru with wrong orders and missing items. Another dine in customer had to go to the counter twice to get it right. Over all our meal was OK. Not the best Popeyes I've had. My son also had 1 tender that he couldn't even chew.

This is the slowest Popeyes I've ever been to. The customer service is horrible. The manager, Giselle, ALWAYS has a sour attitude. Absolutely no customer service skills. Makes me wonder how she got her position. There is ALWAYS at least a 30 minute wait. I ordered at 10:02p, didn't get my food until 10:40.

Our food was old like it was cooked midday and served at night. I called after getting home to find old, chewy chicken. Rep advised to come in to get fresh chicken or bring back for refund. I ordered off of door dash and received regular chicken instead of spicy with both tender boxes I got. The size of the tenders are also so tiny. I paid for 3 extra sauces that I did not receive. The quality is so poor. The mashed potatoes barely have any gravy and the chicken is chewy. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before I ordered from this location. Safe to say we will never order from here again. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Went in to get 2 meals, all the hispanic girls stood around ignoring us. The black gentleman handling the drive thru stopped what he was doing and came and waited on us. Need to get rid of some overhead at this location. We wont be back.

I would of loved it but I ordered the sandwich one day and it was perfect, two days later I went to another location and ordered the combo with all three at the cleburne location and I had asked for boneless I got really burnt bone in and I had to pay for the to hot ranch even though it came with it . This Wednesday I went again to cleburne Tx and ordered a sandwich again and they didn’t even know what the too hot ranch was 😡! My husband and myself went last night to cleburne Tx location and asked for the combo one again and my sandwich was not the hot one they made me pay 25c again for the hot ones ranch I even told them it comes with it they said no . The boneless wings was raw . I’m over coming to cleburne location. I called the mgr and she didn’t care she hung up on me . I work with food everyday I’m a chef I will be contacting the Johnson county health department. I seen an employee visiting her friends behind the counter hair down flip flops. I am normally a oretty patient person. Went the other day. Waited 25 minutes for our food. Then found out they made the wrong tenders. They hadn't even started my shrimp. Then said sorry we have new people in the kitchen. There were several other people all waiting 30 minutes as well. I got my money back.

This place has absolutely horrible service and the employees are unwilling to correct their bad service when it’s called out. Attached is a picture of the food I had to wait 20 minutes for. By the time I got home and opened it the restaurant was closed, when I called the next day to see if they could replace the meal or give me a refund they refused because it was the next day. This meal costed me $16 or more dollars. It was supposed to be 5 tenders and it didn’t even have that. Let alone the tenders were the smallest and driest I have ever received. Don’t waste your money or time.

There is absolutely zero reason why on a Sunday at 4pm I should be served dry, old, chewy chicken. There were some pieces that I could literally not even tear off with my teeth. Like this is ridiculous. Not to mention my order was wrong, most of it was inedible, and there was no redeeming qualities to it whatsoever. Are you kidding me???? Not to mention I showed up for a chicken sandwich and got told they only sell those on Friday. WHAT!?! This is insane. This is ZERO QUALITY CONTROL at this establishment, and zero sense of pride in their product. I haven’t been here in 2 years after several bad experiences and decided to give it another shot in case things changed. Lol nope. Good luck if you choose to dine here
