O'Malley's Irish Grill Conway Reviews
My family and I visited Conway for our nephews tennis match at Hendricks College, and we came to O'Malleys for dinner one night. My husband and I split the Reuben sandwhich and it's was AMAZING! My son ordered the pretzels and cheese and he said "best pretzels I have ever had". Our server was so sweet. I highly recommend this place if you come to Conway!
Wonderful location in Conway that served excellent food and drinks that I will definitely come back for. You've gotta try the cottage pie and the bourbon bread pudding!
Dined here for the first time yesterday. Anna our server was great. Very pleasant and personable. She was attentive without being bothersome. The buger and cod fish ordered were great. Fresh, hot and cooked to perfection. This is surely on our list of restaurants to return to.
Legit Irish food pub. Awesome service. Awesome food. Great vibe. 100%dog friendly! My new conway pub! Thank you! Even pupper had a good time :)
Great place to eat or/ and have a beer. Fish tacos, Reuben, Stew and sides are all really good. When they are busy food can be a little slow but it is good . Our favorite has been the blackened fish tacos . Good menu. Lots of variety of whiskey and bourbon
The food was excellent! The atmosphere was great and so was the service. Although they were packed when we arrived, we were still able to get seated fairly quickly. I had the Shepherd's pie and then dessert. I did try the Wagu burger and it was also delicious. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. Therefore, it gets five stars in my book.
I have been to Ireland and had a Guinness beer at the distillery and a few pubs. This place is the only one I have yet to find that matches the exact same taste Irland has. Also every dish I have tried is amazing. Love this place.
Very friendly, efficient service. The Jameson shrimp appetizer was fantastic. Would definitely get it as my main entree. Cooked to perfection. Cod tacos were generous and delicious. Husband’s fish and chips were amazing. The prices are appropriate to portion. There is an enormous 200+ whiskey menu for those that partake. We will go back!
It was a rainy day and we were looking for a new place to carry out a birthday luncheon. O’Malley’s fit the ticket! We did have to wait for the order longer than usual but it was busy. The food has fresh and hot when we got home with it (I love their carry out containers!). The burgers were huge and cooked to perfection and the fries were crispy and hot. My husband ordered fish and chips and thought the breading was a little heavy to balance the fish but it tasted good. Definitely going back.
We enjoyed our visit. The staff seated us quickly and they were very attentive during our visit. They have a great menu with an incredible selection of whiskeys. We just had burgers and beer. The burgers were cooked as ordered and the beer was ice cold.
Our first time here.. everything was delicious. My husband loved the fish and chips. I thought the cottage pie was amazing. We also had the Boxty for appetizer and that was delicious. For dessert, we had the bread pudding, which exceeded our expectations. We are from Louisiana and we know our bread pudding!!Highly recommend this place.
O’Malleys is our fave place. And Lisa is the best server ever! Super responsive and always friendly. She knows her customers and wants to be sure everyone is taken care of. I see her helping other servers too. Everyone is very attentive. Almost want to give it fewer stars because we already have to wait for a table sometimes! We love everything one menu and always have to take a bread pudding home.
I have been to O’Malleys several times over the past few years. I can honestly say I have not had any bad food from them. Its always been good quality food. Big bonus is they have a great bourbon selection! Appetizers we have tried: Boxty - potato pancakes! Ya I know crazy right? But they are good. Dublin layer shrimp- man I am going to have to figure out the story on that name. If you are looking for a tasty low carb option this just might be your ticket item! Traditional wings- a must have. This is my new go to lunch item there. Guinness BbQ sauce and perfectly cooked wings! Entrees: Ruben sandwich- always a hit, the crispy rye bread and sauerkraut hit the spot! Hot O’malley burger - gives you a little kick with the fried jalapeño and banana peppers. Fish taco is a great lighter choice. Fish and chips is always good. They have a good salad selection but no one comes here for the salad reviews! I will be here again you can count on it.
Highly recommend. Service was excellent! Serena, our waitress went above and beyond and was so kind. The corned beef was delicious and not dried out. The Mac n cheese had a hidden touch of horseradish, which sounds weird, but was fabulous! Wide selection of Irish dishes. Husband 10/10 recommends the potato pancakes.
We tried O'Malley's a few weeks ago because we were testing the bread pudding. We came back because the dessert was delicious! This time it was a meal...bangers and mash and the blackened grouper. So much flavor! Generous portion! So great that the mixed vegetables were awesome! And of course, the bread pudding was spot on, again. With the super service, it's a favorite in just 2 visits.
We were visiting from Austin, Texas and had the opportunity to go to O’Malley’s. The staff was amazing and the restaurant was quaint. We started with some delicious pretzel poppers uniquely prepared. All the entrees were delicious! The one of a kind bourbon bar was extensive and had any bourbon you could wish for. If you are ever in Conway it will be well worth your visit. Oh yeah.. I almost forgot their decadent bourbon bread pudding glazed with the most divine bourbon sauce. Don’t leave without trying it! Stretchy pants recommended!
Great little spot. Apparently kid friendly. I had the Hot O Malley burger w/fries. Very crispy, burger was delicious. Service was great. I had a couple Guinness beers of course. I would recommend for sure. I went alone but felt very comfortable. Update; Cortney was tending bar and Erica was recommending all kinds of food. I was talked into a Stawberry Cake to-go. The burgers are obviously amazing, but I took Erica’s advice for the cake also. Cortney was SLAMMED at the bar but was still sweet and attentive. It’s like a family in here. I can’t wait to come back.
Figured it was time to review since O’Malleys has become one of my go to places to eat and drink. Great food. Friendly staff. Ice cold draft beer. Not gonna find a better Ruben around the Conway area. Burgers, sandwiches, grilled chicken, French dip, fish and chips all great! Give it a shot if you’re ever in the area.
Delightful food! The outside of the restaurant at night was a little off putting. It didn't look like it was open on a Saturday night around 8:30pm. The interior was well lit but the tinted windows made it look closed. Food was well worth it. We had ordered a variety of apps and the food was prompt and delicious!
The food here is pretty good. We got the O’Malley’s cheese dip, French dip, and pub burger. The cheese dip was amazing. The burger was pretty good too. But about the French dip. I feel like there could have been more meat, which I won’t hold against them, but the au jus just tasted like salt water. There wasn’t much flavor to it. The service was great. We had a female server with a short blonde bob (didn’t catch her name) but she was very prompt especially for drink refills. The atmosphere was okay, it did feel just a little cramped with the way the tables are set up. Overall, I’d recommend this place to others.
Busy place it's happening place for sure. Be ready for wait for a table. It is so busy the waitress was over busy, she was very sweet young lady doing her best. I felt sorry for her she had Alot tables to keep running so maybe staff is low. The food was great, French fries differently shaped. The atmosphere is busy n what comes with that is loud. It has tvs on the wall if ya wanna catch the game so it's perfect hangout party friday weekend happening place popular in Conway. Get a o malleys experience!
The food was really good. My husband had the fish and chips and I just had the burger. The server was very nice but she never came back to check on us after we got our food. I could have really used a refill on my drink. Then we sat there for a long time just waiting to get our check. The atmosphere is pretty cool but it is small and felt crowded. I'll probably go back and give it another try. Hopefully our server won't forget about us next time.
Two black girls in an Irish restaurant Arkansas stand out! And we did, but we were greeted before we were fully in the door, offered seating of our choice, and when a table became available outside we were notified and offered the outside seating. I don't remember the young man's name that greeted us or took care of us with our table and seating, but he was a service Rockstar. Our server was Amanda G., and she was really great too. I asked questions about a couple of items of the menu and if meat could be removed or eaten around, and she was knowledgeable and honest. I settled on fish and chips, there weren't really any other options, but when it came out it was piping hot and fresh. The fish , the cod, was battered and fried so of course it was very greasy, which I mitigated a little bit with napkins. The fries were pretty okay, but I honestly don't remember. I would remember if they were bad. Their tap water was also very good; I'm very picky about tap water. The best part of the meal though was the bourbon bread pudding. In the menu it says something like life-changing bread pudding, and I would have to agree. It was amazing! I also know my friend enjoyed her food and the bread pudding too. If for no other reason, I will go back for that delicious bread pudding.
I love their potato skins with jalapeños and stuff. Their customer service is so so. I had a waiter take away food before I was done with it. I freaking love my food bro. Not cool. Other than that it was alright. It could use a little more friendliness. Never been on a super busy night but that’s the point.
