Lime - Fresh Mexican Grill Miami Beach Reviews
Absolutely must check this place out if you’re in south beach. The prices aren’t stupid like anything close to ocean blvd strip. The food and drinks are great, the happy hour is even better.
Best burritos!!!!!! Highly recommended for anyone who is big Mexican lover eaters then come here; I guarantee you won’t going be disappointed for whatever you order will love those famous many different kind of salsa sauces!;)
Lucas took our order, he was very professional and friendly, a great start of a wonderful lunch experience. Laila the manager was attentive and very hospitable. We saw her attending to every detail of the restaurant, greeting people, cleaning tables and checking that we were pleased with what we ordered. My husband and I mentioned to her that we were from Aventura, she surprise us with sweet chips. We definitely coming back.
Honestly Incredible experience at Lime! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming — the kind of place where you instantly feel at home. As for the food… amazing! Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. You can really tell they put care into their dishes. Whether you're craving tacos, burritos, or something more unique, Lime has it all. If you're looking for a spot with great service, fantastic food, and an all-around excellent vibe, Lime is the place to be. I can’t wait to go back!
Great prices, food, staff, and aesthetics. Chips and salsa bar is awesome
I can’t believe we just discovered this place after living almost 3 years in beach. this is the most perfect amazing restaurant in miami beach. Their tacos margaritas beers and so cheap in happy hours omg. thank youu!!!
Brenda, the manager, was super nice to us. We loved the food. The place was quiet and pleasant. We'll be back soon :)
2 ppl 20 dollars and you are fed and watered. (Happy Hour) The hostess was super nice not pushy gave extra chips. $2 tacos during happy hour are fabulous. Pineapple / Jalapeno dip is HOT ! Definitely coming back here . Beer $2.75 .
The service and food was completely amazing. We went at a good time it wasn't overly crowded & the service was on point. The fajitas came out sizzling hot with all the sides to make my tacos. They gave a plentiful size portion so that we left fat full. It was hard to push away because it all tasted so great. The margaritas were perfect and not weak like other restaurants. They were playing music which set the mood for a nice evening. We will be back.Thank you again!
Wow I have to say the tacos here are so fresh, such big portions and self serve salsa’s! I love bodega but this is def worth a try as it to me is a lot less oily and I really love all the food at Lime. If you haven’t tried it you should!! I really recommend and they have a really nice seating area and they play great music☺️
Went here both times that I visited Miami. The food was hot, fresh and flavorful both times. I ordered the nachos and got tried some chicken enchiladas as an appetizer. It was so good. I couldn’t even finish the nachos, it was such a big portion.
I love everything about this place! The fish tacos are amazing, even if you don't like fish! And the bottomless chips and salsa had me filled to the max. Highly recommend this place of your in the area. Oh did I mention they place some really good music too?! Would love to meet the DJ! Check out my photos if you don't believe me.
This place has great tacos and great beer. Staff were nice and happy hour was great value for money. I recommend the steak taco and chicken
Great little joint here. Steak/asada Bowl was really tasty. Good quesadillas and salsa bar. We'll run place as well with quick and print service. They are constantly waking around, cleaning tables, delivering food (5 min ticket time max), beer available, fountain drinks, chips and salsa available too. Really nice joint for a budget price. I would definitely return here. Kudos to them!
Food and ambience incredible, come in, order and take a seat whilst they make you beautiful, fresh and authentic dishes, taking into account your level of spice tolerance! Help-yourself-salsa bar is a lovely touch to ensure less food waste and frozen margaritas ♥️ we will be back!!!
This place is fantastic. I wasn't aware of it being a chain, but it seems most places in Florida are chains. I am not a chain type of person, but I have to say, the integrity of the food is intact. 2 dollarchix or beef tacos for happy hour. A great condiment bar, a slew of hot sauces, a great, friendly staff, and a really cool veranda/porchway, are extremely attractive for you to trek over to this Alton Ave. spot.
Top rate chain serving up a great queso and chips along with an amazing jalapeno margarita!!

I had the taco salad, which was fantastic! The flavors were on point, and the outdoor seating was so breezy and nice. Our server, Wyman, was wonderful—he was friendly and checked on us frequently. It would have been a five-star meal if the lettuce wasn’t so big! I'll definitely be recommending this place to my friends.
As a South Beach local for over 20 years, this location is far superior. The staff and food are constantly providing a great experience and service. Brenda is fantastic and always is a pleasure. Thank you all.
Great place for tacos and margaritas. Music is always fun and the people working are so nice. They have become like family. Big shout out to Brenda for being so nice and genuinely caring how I am every time I stop in. It’s people like her who make a place your go to spot.

LIME has a happy hour which means tacos are two dollars each even for take out. What is really nice is they have a section set up with salsas, limes, napkins, forks etc Where a lot of places charge extra for the salsas LIME DOES NOT. The young lady from Argentina was very pleasant and made sure my items wouldn’t get wet since it was raining. I bought 2 chicken, two beef, two vegetable tacos. I included a picture especially of the vegetable ones since you can see they don’t skimp on fillings. Oh and there are chips and salsa included for FREE . Definitely no nickel and diming the customer here. Today I went back and bought 12. 6 beef 6 chicken for our doormen I bought myself a margarita! Go up to LINCOLN AND SEE THE ART WALK OF ANIMALS. THIS IS A TWOFER: GREAT TACOS, GREAT ART
A great place to enjoy a good time with your partner or a group of friends. During happy hour you can find beers for 2.95. I recommend the nachos with huacamole, the quesadillas and of course the margaritas.

Lime Mexican Grill offers a steady stream of flavorful Mexican dishes with a vibrant atmosphere. The menu features a range of traditional favorites, including tacos, burritos, and quesadillas, which are generally well-prepared and satisfying. The constant food service ensures that you’re always able to enjoy freshly made meals. However, while the food is consistently good, some may find it lacking in originality or flair compared to other Mexican dining options. Overall, it’s a reliable spot for enjoying classic Mexican cuisine in a lively setting.
It was a day of torrential rain. No real choice to grab lunch without getting soaked. Parked in front to dash inside. I remember when I lived in SoBe, this cute semi indoor casual dining spot was good. Priced right. Well, the food was not as it was and the price for nachos and a small plate of fajitas was $30! It was cheap trailer food. $10 would have been more like it.

Update: I did not reach out to management. But I did give Lime another chance and the order was perfect and the food was good. Just got a delivery order from here that we ordered for my wife's birthday. She used to love this place and she wanted it for her birthday dinner. We asked for two orders of chips and salsa and they didnt send the salsa. We ordered queso with ground beef and it was watered down, old, and with no meat. I order fried fish tacos and the fish undercooked, and cold. As a local who works and lives on West Avenue, not only will I not be eating at Lime anymore, but I will make sure to tell everyone that comes to visit my building to avoid this place. This is such a disappointment and completely ruined my wife's birthday dinner.

I seldom give 2 stars but this rating hits it on the nose. The food is edible and did not get me sick. The air is blasting loud NOT with AC but with obnoxious radio commercials and uh "music". How absolutely clueless...or is it stupidity?...does the management there have to be to think that loud blaring radio commercials is a pleasant pairing to a beer and burrito? At least the offensive oratory onslaught is bilingual. So bone-up on you Spanish skills. (whatever, check out "CuisineQuest" on youtube if you are a person of quality, graciass).
Go there for drinks and happy hour Do not go for the food. Meats are tasteless. Tacos have very little protein. Guac is good. Service also good. Quick to serve the food. Place is very nice, good music and happy hour drinks are cheap.

Lime Fresh used to be a gem—fresh food, legit salsa bar, big portions, fair prices. Then they sold it, bought it back, and left the flavor, quality, and value in the past where it apparently belongs. Now? It’s a sad, overpriced shell of what it once was. The portions are laughably small (did I order a taco or a sample?), the food is bland, and the prices are straight-up delusional. I used to crave this place. Now I crave a refund. Honestly, if I’m choosing between Lime Fresh and Taco Bell, I’ll take the mystery meat and save my cash. At least Taco Bell isn’t pretending to be something it’s not. RIP to the Lime I used to love. You’ve officially been downgraded to Lime Meh-xican Grill.
The waitress' service was horrible, she is rude and ill-mannered. We were looking for guidance on where to sit and she did not serve us. In the end, we ordered and the waitress brought us the plates. Believe me, she treated my dog better than she did. I don't know if she was having a bad day and if so, please do not take your problems to work. If not, she hates her job. It's a great shame because the food is very good, I would say delicious, and the atmosphere was also pleasant. They should hire or require the staff to be more friendly and improve customer service.
I ordered shrimp tacos online for delivery. Horrible, horrible horrible! Do not waste your money. Food was delivered with no sauce. How can one eat tacos without sauce, dry with absolutely no taste at all. They added some chips on the side, again no sauce to eat the chips with. A waste of my money.
I ordered a burrito a carne asada, i always order from here and i honestly dont know what this is and it all fell apart when it was wrapped
I used to love this place , but the past few months every time I go the burrito is literally ALL RICE .. and half the ingredients listed aren’t in it .. sad this place must have changed management or something .

This location was a major disappointment. I used to come here when Lime first opened, and the food and service were excellent. Not anymore. I ordered a carne asada burrito, a chicken burrito, and a quesadilla. The steak burrito had maybe four small pieces of meat total — the rest was just rice and veggies. When I pointed it out, the manager brushed me off, claimed the meat must have “shifted,” and even tried to pass grilled onions off as steak. She showed zero care or customer service. I’ve eaten at other Lime locations (Plantation, Pembroke Pines, etc.) and never had this issue. Here, the manager’s attitude was dismissive, and in the end she just asked me “So what do you want now, your money back?” I accepted the refund for my burrito, but the whole experience felt awkward and unpleasant and I vouched to never come back to this place again. Bottom line: this location doesn’t come close to the quality or service you’ll find at other Lime restaurants. Save your money and eat elsewhere
