Giuseppe's Elmira Reviews
Best pizza around IMO. Try dining in for a great experience or I do take out for work lunch and they are always timely. I gave 4 star for service only because cash register was unable to split bill.
Nice and cozy place to have your family dinner or just chill with your friends. The dishes are delicious
I stopped in for a slice after doing liquor work next door, I wish I had bought a whole pie. Nice people working, the man throwing the dough makes the perfect pie. unreal crust!
I gave the food only four stars because there were mushrooms in my vegetable medley which my waiter didn't mention, as well as a lemon pip in my veal piccata (forgiveable). The mushrooms, though? Every chef in the world should know that mushrooms are NOT vegetables! My waiter was great.
Great pizza. Great atmosphere. Great service
We ate here 2-18-23, everything was good. Loved the updates that you did. Compliments to the Chef on both salads. Bread was awesome as always. Waitress was good as well.
I'm sort of new to dining at this place. A couple of times dining in and a few here and there pizza orders. Given the handful of times, they've all been worthy of a return. I recently placed a fairly large order via Slice, and another time not too long ago. Each and every time, quality is given with obvious results. Giuseppe's will be my new and only go-to, for pizza pickup amongst other items! Don't take my word for it, let your taste buds do the talking. We'll definitely be on the same page once you do... Best pizza in town (the area)! Best meat sauce pizza in town! Best customer service in town! Highest quality in town! Best chicken parm in town! Best mozzarella sticks in town! Best calamari in town!
Very good spaghetti sauce. Salad was cold and crisp, very good. My husband had a buffalo chicken hoagie which was great but his chips were the crumbs from the bottom of the bag. Would you serve them to a guest? Not cool.
I really enjoyed our meal there. Everything was top notch, good serving size. The employees were very nice, you get a smile with the great service. We will be going back.
Enjoyed every moment inside the restaurant. Got to sit wherever I pleased, and the shrimp fra diavolo was perfect! Great spot for authentic Italian food. Service was on point, coming back to the table multiple times during dinner. Definitely will be back in the future!
Best spaghetti around. We love it. We especially love the butter sauce seasoning on broiled fish. We go here often. Never have to wait long. Give the folks a break everyone is short on staff. But the ladies here work hard. We see it in other restaurants as well. Have patience please. Thanks to all of you. Tom and Donna.
Stopped in after going to some of the stores in the plaza and we were in need of dinner. Great pizza place with a variety of items to choose from. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the place had a great Italian feel, we will definitely be back to try more of their great food... and definitely for another Canoli ;) !
It took me a while to finally try the stromboli and it was amazing. Dough was cooked thoroughly. Plenty of cheese and meats. And they gave me a TUB of marinara to go through. Worth it!
The food was the only truly authentic Italian in the area. The eggplant chips, home made salad dressing, and the sauce rivaled my Sicialian grandmothers and Savanah our server was kind, attentive and fun!!
There is not enough Stars to put on this place you definitely get wha you pay for are wait er was a man super friendly and took care of our every needs I'm out here 25 years from Long Island and this is one of the best Italian restaurants I've eaten in in a long time God bless you keep up the good work and have a Merry Christmas
Food was absolutely amazing here -- our waitress was incredibly nice and ensured we had a great time! The garlic knots and pizza were among the best I have ever had :) Will definitely go back when I go to this area again!
LOVE this establishment! Our first time there. The restaurant and Bar is very neat, clean, and stylish; creating a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Its fresh and light. The waitstaff we experienced were easily accommodating and thoughtful. I enjoyed their Spaghetti (I chose the Angel Hair option). Their sauce is homemade, as well as their Sausage. (Its well worth every tender perfectly seasoned bite!). The other staff behind the scenes were helpful upon entering and friendly upon leaving. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND going here! We look forward to going there again soon, ourselves.
Highly recommend eating here if you are charging your car. Good variety of food, with options for dietary restrictions. excellent service.
Was pleasantly pleased. Hostess and waiter were exceptional. Food delicious. The atmosphere was awesome. Only complaint, did not enjoy thier choice of music, not at all fitting to restaurants setting.
This is my go-to in the Elmira-Corning region. I love to support local and they’re always there with a smile and fresh pizza and a full menu of options to enjoy.
The food at Guiseppi’s is always fresh and delicious. I have to admit that the bread loaves and rolls they were making prior to them changing management was far superior to the rolls they are currently using. I’m sure they are probably utilizing the old Light’s Bakery they now own, but the rolls for subs and especially the cheesesteaks are as delicious as the other homemade rolls and breads they previously made. I realize everyone has had to cut costs; but quality shouldn’t suffer and in this case it has. Their sauces, pizza’s and pasta dishes are excellent. Prices have gone up, but considering the cost of food that’s understandable. The remodel looks great and we visit their establishment regularly. I’m sure we are not the only ones that miss their larger dinner loaves and sub rolls. Still, one of the best Italian-American restaurants in our area.
Ordered a sheet pizza with half pepperoni & half extra cheese, other side was chicken and sweet peppers. I also ordered a white garlic pizza with fresh tomato on it. 10/10 both. I will for sure order the white garlic one again.
So ive been looking for a good pizza for the past 6 years having moved down to Arkansas and now back up to NY having missed the pizza in Rochester NY. I definitely found it the buffalo pizza is so good you would think god sent an angel to make it. 5 stars for the food. The dining in area seems small tho so 4 stars for that My only real complaint was that another co worker butted in when the guy at the cash register was helping me i get ya wanna help but have some faith in your coworker would ya he had me covered.
Always excellent food. We've had past issues with food that was not hot, but this time, it was a bit too hot to start eating!!! It is better to wait a few minutes and enjoy the aroma. The addition of red pepper and Parmesan cheese was also done. Salad was brought out with a dinner loaf of bread and butter, along with beverages. Timing allowed for conversation with dinner companions, while bread and salad were consumed. Then the main entrée came with new beverages and bread/butter!!! Overall, it was a great evening with companions and a good meal. Looking forward to our next adventure at this great dining spot!!! Consider trying this in your travels!!!
Best Italian in town!! Fantastic pizza, lasagna, everything is top notch Returning this evening was the best decision we made for our " Friday the 13th night out" kid free we enjoyed our pasta dishes outside enjoying the beautiful weather, the server was the happiest I've ever had. Spaghetti and meatballs was **chef's kiss** perfect
One of the best pizza places in the area with extremely good toppings, fast easy service, and easy-to-find location. I stopped there after going to the liquor store and found a gem in the rough. I figured I had never gotten pizza from this place before and they deserve to get a shot at my business before I just leave and buy Domino's. I will definitely be coming back here for more pizza. Not only everything I said above but they also offer three different sizes of pizza and plenty of Italian food! Sit down and eat in service!
I had one bad delivery experience....other than that as a NYC native....closest I could get to home...ty Sal!
I had my entire wedding party go to this restaurant for our post nuptial dinner and I've got to say this was the most amazing and delicious experience I have had in a very long time! Every meal was cooked to perfection!! The waitstaff was courteous, professional and their exceptional attention to detail didnt go unnoticed! We are nothing less than impressed! The food was superb. The staff was awesome! I highly recommend this restaurant for its mouthwatering Italian cuisine, you will not be disappointed.
We ordered from the take out catering menu last night for a Birthday party. Baked Ziti, meatballs, sausage, salad and bread. Wow! And I am saying this loudly! WOW!! Everything was absolutely amazing! People were raving about the food all evening!!! We eat here often and always love it. This was so convenient and reasonably priced for this occasion! Even the boxes the food came in were perfect to travel with! We will be back soon!!! Highly recommend for any catered party or event!!
We picked up some pasta and soup from Giuseppe’s in Horseheads just before closing, and it was still absolutely incredible. Even though it was late, everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the soup was rich and comforting—like a true homemade Italian meal. You can tell this place takes pride in their food and quality. It’s a hidden gem for authentic Italian takeout. Definitely recommending Giuseppe’s to anyone craving real Italian flavor around here!
Great place for Italian and wings. Not very crowded, but it should be. Strombolis are huge and wings are as good as one would expect.
We made a huge order for delivery to the office and everything was just as we ordered! They delivered on time and the food was excellent. Pizza sauce tastes to fresh and the wings were perfectly cooked. THANK YOU!
Wow, absolutely Wow!!! We had awesome food and a great experience. I would definitely recommend going there.
Our favorite pizza place around. Sauce is perfect, not too sweet.
First time here was excellent, so came back today, IMO real Italian food, I've only ever had the pizza and garlic knots. Service was excellent. I believe our server was Ellie and she was excellent very attentive. Food was excellent and arrived quickly. My wife has to have gluten free, and we have had many a gluten free pizza, well these folks have the best.
Giuseppe’s Italian Restaurant in Horseheads, NY is a true gem that delivers an exceptional dining experience across the board. With a well-earned 5-star reputation for food, service, and atmosphere, it’s no wonder locals and visitors alike keep coming back. 🍝 Food: The menu is a celebration of authentic Italian flavors. From their beloved garlic knots and eggplant parmigiana to rich pasta dishes like chicken marsala and veal parm, every bite is crafted with care. Their homemade sauces and perfectly baked pizzas are standouts, and the cannolis are a must-try for dessert lovers. 👨🍳 Service: The staff at Giuseppe’s are warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making guests feel like family. Whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout, the service is consistently professional and friendly. 🌟 Atmosphere: The cozy, welcoming vibe makes it ideal for both casual dinners and special occasions. The restaurant’s intimate setting, paired with traditional Italian décor, creates a charming ambiance that enhances the overall experience. Located at 1020 S Center St in Grand Central Plaza, Giuseppe’s is a cornerstone of the Horseheads dining scene. If you’re craving hearty Italian comfort food served with heart, this is the place to be. Buon appetito!
Great place to pick up a slice, we also bought their sauce and made lasagna with it!
The staff and the food are wonderful!! And I'm kind of an Italian food snob 🤷♀️ The bruschetta is fantastic & can buy their sauce to take home. Worth every penny every time!!
Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious and filling aswell as the pineapple pizza my nephew had lol, my mother, nephew and I enjoyed the food and had a good waiter who was trying her best to make sure everything was known and assured! Nice a peaceful atmosphere.
Outstanding pizza! Enjoyed every bite. The crust was perfection! Love your salads and pasta dinners. Great chicken marsala! Your staff is always friendly and efficient!
The food is great here. Service was good as well. Nice music playing so the atmosphere is fine, but you do sit right next to windows so the outside view isn't great. Price is not super low but the food is all worth it.
Simply WOW!!! I never heard of this restaurant prior to my friend Dawn being a server there. I had no idea I what i was missing out on. I had the veal parm meal. Great service, great food. I'll return every chance I get.
There was a delivery mishap and when I called, the girl who answered the phone couldn't have been nicer and I think it was within 20 minutes, they were pulling in my driveway with a fresh pizza and a smiling driver. I love the pizza here and the customer service is top tier. Thank you!
TL;DR - Food is well worth it; Service is excellent; atmosphere is what it was. We were in town for a vacation, and the local hotel staff recommended them for dinner. So we went and was seated immediately, and served by Savannah immediately, with fresh sliced bread and plenty of time to make our choice. First time for dinner was Guisppie's pizza (aka supreme) and it's excellent, The crust was soft yet crisp, the toppings fresh, and plenty of good flavor. The second time for dinner, with Savannah again, the spouse got a Dinner sized grilled chicken salad and I had veal parmigana hogie. Once again, excellent dinner. And the cannolis? Wow. Best I've had. Third time, he had a Cheesesteak special hoagie while I picked the stromboli. The 'boli was good hot or cold (leftovers the next day's lunch) . Fourth time (earlier today) we split a pizza again. The only ding is for the last visit we hit between lunch and dinner time (before senior citizens dinner time) and only one young lady (IIRC Kristen) was busy working the phones, floor service, and back of store tasks. We understood and had no issues with it taking a little longer to get our check and depart. But for the food? And the amount of food? Worth it and more. Hate we never got to try the wings. When we return to the area for vacation, we'll give them a try.
I was there for a late lunch. I was told to sit wherever I liked. Tge place was empty except for another couple. I ordered a plain pizza, a side salad and a glass of Cab. I was given garlic knots as well. Added bonus! Took them home for later. The service was quick, thoughtful and friendly. The food was very good, served fast and I could not make any recommendations for improvement. The cost was fair, as well. Its kind of hidden in a back corner of a shopping plaza. It's worth looking for!
First time at Giuseppe's. We will absolutely be returning. Our server was Tara and she was great. Our trip to Giuseppe's was on a recommendation by Amanda... Yep! She was right! Food was awesome. Bread was too! My wife has angel pasta w/ meat sauce. I had a baked seafood pasta with garlic Alfredo sauce (penne for me). It was delicious! Def recommend this restaurant...
Good service, nice kitchen, good prices and portions. Clean! They don’t have vegan options, but were able to customize Herbivore Pizza to make it vegan. Chef was very understanding and took my request personally. Server was very nice and attended us in a timely manner. Would be great if they’d develop a vegan pizza recipe in future.
We ordered the hot Chicken Bruschetta Sub "topper with fresh basil" and one cold Turkey sub. There was absolutely no fresh basil on my hot chicken sub and it was cold. The Turkey sub looked awful, like it came out of a vending machine, with very little turkey, lettuce, tomato and onion. The wait staff was very helpful, and brought a plate of the missing fresh basil, lettuce tomato and onion to fix our subs. The pizzas looked great behind the glass. Perhaps they should stick to what they do best. It's certainly not making subs in my opinion.
Fried eggplant chips are amazing! Pizza crust the best in the area. You won't get a more generous pour on a glass of wine anywhere. A favorite of ours that we don't get to as often as we should.
The food is very good and the pizza also I've been there for two birthdays and let them know both times that it was a birthday and they absolutely ignored it and did nothing at all even after we ordered a dessert they still didn't even put a candle in it. Not a great place to go for birthdays but otherwise the food is the best authentic Italian food I've seen around this area. No frozen chicken patties used here, just real chicken breast, the way it should be. Way better and authentic than Sorge's with a much better variety of dishes.
Pizza was delicious! It was Friday evening and very busy, so I'm contributing this to the service issues, seated right away with menus and waited...waitress apparently on break (multiple times). We weren't in a hurry, and left full with leftovers! We will go back, probably not on a Friday!
Went at lunchtime...busy...but not "rushed".
Nice spot for a cozy Italian meal. Not much ambiance m, more of a pizza spot with additional dining.
Update.. Returned multiple times since this review. Glad we gave it another try. Food is delicious and the staff have been very friendly and attentive. First time eating at this restaurant. The spaghetti was delicious and will go back only for that reason. The salad was good however there was one tomato and one cucumber slice. The bread was good but very small loaves. The server wasn't very attentive and could tell she didn't want to be there. Not the best first impression.
The food is always fresh and good. Consistency is hard to find these days. The staff are very friendly and attentive. It's more casual than other Italian restaurants, but it's comfortable.
Good local food. The Buffalo Chicken sub is a must. Very friendly staff.
Cute restaurant in Grand Central Plaza. Perfect for families to come eat yummy Italian food. They’re famous for their sauce, which is so good! Huge menu and selection of food. Prices are decent too. They had a lot of waitresses on and from what I could tell they were very good and waiting on their tables, very nice and professional. Definitely will be back!
Very nice management & owner. *We were personally greeted by the owner. *My husband ordered a pasta dish. I ordered a salad. Fresh bread was on the table while we waited for our food. *We liked our good dishes very much. *We would definitely fine here again on future visits to the area.
We ordered a buffalo chicken pizza, and it was absolutely flavorless. The chicken was dry. 3 stars because the stromboli we got was tasty and the marinara is on point. We went during lunch and it was dead. Pretty odd since it's right off the highway next to a Kmart and liquor store.
Ordered the Calamari, was soso at best...Rubbery and not a lot of flavor. Won't get that again. Had a slice of Pizza, was good but tasted different than I remember. Service was slow but like everyone else, they don't have and can't cant find help....Bread was warm and Delicious!!
A good local Italian joint. Food is excellent. A huge menu brings a lot of optikns. And a full bar is available as well as a decent wine list. Located near Interstate 86 with easy access on and off. I would highly recommend it for the travelers passing through as well as the locals. The three stars is because of bad past experiences with the staff and service. Other than that..... Great place
Stopped here for an anniversary lunch. Ordered the spaghetti, very good. Didn't receive our salads and was asked if we wanted it to go when we checked out. No, we were done eating. Service needs help. Should have been compensated for it. Too bad because the food was delicious. Won't return.
Staff shortage like everywhere you go, we ordered pizza & side salad. The salad came 35 minutes after ordering & pizza 10 minutes after that. Our waitress was busting her hump as she was the only one waiting tables, you'd think other staff could have brought salads to tables. There should have been a manager on shift help direct staff. The food was good, it just took a little longer than usual. Thank you to those who do work.
I am giving a 3 star review here, not because of our waitress or the food. She was great and the food was delicious. However, I called before my wife and I drove over to the Horseheads location because I wanted to see what kind of soup and chowder they may have. The girl I spoke to on the phone said there was clam chowder available and my wife said a couple years ago she had it and said it was delicious. So after arriving we put in our order and we both wanted clam chowder. Come to find out our waitress came back and informed us that they don't make the clam chowder anymore, which is very unfortunate as that is what we were looking forward to. We ended up getting a couple of slices of pizza which was delicious. But the wrong information being communicated to me was the biggest disappointment
We ordered a carnivore pizza as was listed on the menu. We got home and had a vegetable pizza. I would have been fine with it but my partner doesn't eat olives. I called them back to let them know to get yelled at by the person who answered the phone and the person who took the order. Telling me I ordered an all vegetarian pizza. Because it was 15 minute's away they had us go to their sister store instead to drop off vegetarian pizza and pick up an all meat pie. The person who placed the order from Giuseppes didn't tell the new place crispy, so it eas not cooked long enough for us. We will try Lights Bakery on their own sometime because the pizza has very good flavor, we will just order it the way we want it. As far as Giuseppe's we will not be back.
We have been here in the past and the food (pizza was amazing) this time not so much. Waitress was great very friendly
Dinner here last night. Had chicken marsala. The cream sauce was like water. The chicken was tough and over cooked. Poorest excuse for chicken marsala I've ever had in a restaurant. What happened? Food here has always been very good. Not anywhere worth the $25 cost for this meal.
Service was very slow.. probably because it was busy. We were there over 30 minutes before we got our food. The staff was friendly just not the most efficient. Food was mediocre at best. It is unlikely my husband and I will return.
I specifically ordered a regular pizza as I hate thin crust pizza. The only way they could make a thinner crust pizza than the one I was served would have been to paint the sauce on the box! Very expensive too!
Was with a group, in the back. One person from our group asked for her food to go, because she has to be somewhere. Waitress was requested 3 times to bring the food and check. My friend left without her food, and the waitresses concern was that she did not pay for the food that she did not receive. 😩 Don't come yelling when you didn't do what you were supposed to. How hard is it to put a salad in a box?
Ordered eggplant parmigiana sub and it was so dry and NO sauce. The worst. Also ordered calamari and never had anything like that. It wasn’t calamari it was rubber. Also ordered French onion soup. No onions. We had a big group ordered to go.
We’re new to the area and ordered an eggplant Parm sandwich. Way too much bread, VERY little eggplant. Not to mention, more breading THEN eggplant. Definitely NOT worth $14. But their sauce was good. Most likely will not be ordering from there again.
I have never felt more sticker shock than the other day when my husband and I met out for lunch on Monday 11/25 and shared a meal. Even in this financial climate, in no way do I find it acceptable to charge over $14 for this size of a wrap. It was less than the size of a phone, or smaller than a 6-inch sub from Subway. The only side it came with was a bag of plain Lay's potato chips. And as we were waiting for it to be made, we saw their sheet pizzas are $56, and the larges are $50. Will not be back anytime soon. Should've done a Subway $7 deal.
This is what the $14 "Godfather Hoagie" looks like. I wonder how many other people saw a $14 Godfather on the menu and thought it was going to be amazing only to end up with this sad hunk of bread, barely sprinkled with the classic Godfather ingredients? The ingredients, by the way were fresh, I'll give them that. What I won't give them is another $14 for this sandwich. Stick with the pizza. The Margherita is incredibly delicious. I can't imagine anything on this menu with red sauce being bad either. Overall Giuseppe's is a great place to eat and I will definitely continue to eat here, but if you're going for a sandwich there are much better options nearby. A note for the owners: Increase the meat portion and add cheese, lower the price to about $9, or just take it off the menu because you are stiffing your customers. I doubt you will ever get a repeat customer for this quality and price point. Also, how does this cost the same as a veal parm? Veal cutlets are $16/lb at Wegman's so that makes sense, but serving this atrocity with the same price as a veal parm misleads the customer into thinking their going to get a $14 sandwich. This is not a $14 sandwich.
The food used to be good but not so much anymore. They are very rude about things they mess up. For example they forgot dressing on a delivery and I called politely to let them know and they refused to bring it because they said the person taking the order didn't hear me ask for dressing. (mind you I don't live far from this restaurant.) So I decided I wasn't going to eat here anymore due to their mannerisms... but later I decided to give them 1 more chance maybe it was just an off day... So, I had ordered shrimp scampi for pick up this time which is about $18.00 and it was dry and had little to no taste. The menu says that each pasta dinner come with a complimentary side of bread and a side salad. I ordered two dinners and only 1 bread came with the order and no butter. When we called they said that they only give 1 side of bread for every 2 dinners and you have to ASK for butter and they gave me the wrong dressing for my salad. -_- The owner is cheap and rude... I won't be returning.
DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Ordered meals on 2 occasions. 1st order, no calamari in either 1 of the 2 seafood pasta dishes. They made attempt to fix by sending me fried calamari. Not to bad. 2nd order,, decided not to get pasta, but something easy like pizza from a pizza place. Was told 45 minutes for my delivery. 1 hour and 16 minutes later, I received my pizza, my pizza is cold and sausage only partially cook. Called them and explained the issue. Young lady on the phone is very helpful but the chef, who just happens to be the owners son, insisted that it was fully cooked. The sausage on my pizza was pink, slimey and smelly. But yet he says its fully cooked in the morning. Anyways, they agree to cook me another pizza with no toppings and refund my money spent on the toppings. I then receive my new pizza, but has toppings on the side in a container, but no refund for the toppings that the chef doesn't know how to cook. Delivery driver was kind enough to refund me out of his pocket and states things like this happen all the time. Terrible that a bright young kid has to pay out of his own pocket to assist a customer. Maybe the chef should go back to commercial foods at boces to learn how to cook pork, does not know how to cook or run a business. Worst food in Horseheads, possibly the state. Thumbs down.
Worst Hoogie I've had in years ! Tasteless! Good Lord buy some fresh local produce !
I recently sat with Sal (the owner?) and planned a luncheon for after my son's funeral. Terms were discussed and it was to cost $14.95 per plate for 40 people. An hour or so before the funeral, I was called by an employee to confirm my commitment, only it was now $16.95 a plate. Too late for me to make other arrangements. The food was just so-so with LOTS of pasta and sauce but not a lot of anything to warrant the price. Afterwards I was hit with a bill....NOT advised that a gratuity had been included, so I threw in a $100 tip for the girls who served us. The tab came up to $992, including the $127 gratuity automatically inserted. I called Sal to discuss. He assured me that I had misunderstood his and my agreement and the servers tally as well. Thinking he might have offered something in the way of a return as a good will gesture....shame on me! I had no written contract...I took him at his word. For almost $1,000 I could have taken 40 people to a better restaurant. Never again, Sal! I won't be back!
The sicilian pizza that I ordered was the wrong size. Additionally, the pizza was rubbery and bad. The Eggplant Parm Hero had wayyyy too much tomato sauce so that was all you could taste. There was no mozzarella. Extremely disappointed! Especially since this is one of the more expensive pizza places in the area and it had better reviews, I thought it was going to have better pizza!!!
Went there tonight, ordered 2 chesesteak special subs. 2 groups of customers came in after us received their food and left before we received any food. We were told by our waitress that they lost the first ticket and then just didn't make the second ticket. Unfortunately we really like this place the food was good when it actually came our over an hour later. We asked to speak to the manager but he never came out and we were told they didn't have the authority to give us a discount. Yet another place we will not go to again nor reccomend.
The hostess said 15-25 minute wait so we waited outside. After 30 minutes i went inside to ask if our table was ready and she told me they were not seating anymore due to a party in their banquet room and they were short staffed and wasn’t sure how long of a wait after the original 30 minutes. We decided to wait 10 more minutes. The hostess then said we can wait inside but we couldn’t order anything not even a drink. . After another 10 minutes someone finally took our order but when our Stromboli came it was way undercooked. Not worth your time
I ordered a pizza for delivery and paid about $30 total. Due to a Verizon power outage, the delivery driver had trouble with GPS and couldn’t find my address. I waited at home for over an hour, only to learn that the pizza was taken back to the shop instead of being remade to uphold freshness and quality of the product. I then drove to the store myself and was disappointed by how the situation was handled. I was refused a full refund or a freshly made pizza and instead was charged $15 for a pizza that was already over an hour old. There was no apology or attempt to make things right. I had no energy at that point to state my point and needed something to eat. Why not just throw out the pizza and remake it ? I understand that unexpected issues happen, but good customer service is about how those situations are handled. Unfortunately, there was very little effort to resolve this fairly, and I left feeling like the inconvenience was placed entirely on me.
