We started coming to this family focused restaurant about 6 months ago. We tried others in the area but they didn't match the taste and experience as the foothill ranch RR. Our son picks this restaurant when we ask him where should we go be cause of the bottomless root beer floats, fries and sides. Great value. Management is running a good operation here. I've been in restaurant industry all my life and know when you have happy and friendly servers they are backed up by great people managers. After 3 experiences I decides to make a review because this place helps us a good family night out.

Went to Foothill RR today and enjoyed the burgers and fries. It was cooked correctly to temps we requested. Asked for the fries extra crispy and they were perfect. Bridget was our server and she was very good. Friendly and came by the table often. Thought they were closed when we got there at 2pm on Friday. Only a few cars in the parking lot but my wife heard the music, so we went inside. Burgers seem expensive, but with bottomless fries, it seems better. Will probably go back and try a different flavor of burger.

This is a well run red robin. Food is good and they make sure you never run out of fries. UPDATE: never eat at the bar. it is understaffed so you will be waiting forever for both food & refills.

We went in around 3pm it wasn't busy at all. Sat inside and our wonderful server was Sean. He was the only server on but was very friendly and apologetic for wait times. His service was excellent!! He never dropped the ball. Food was great as usual, I had the southern charm with a turkey patty. Hubby had the monster burger with bacon and Jalapeno's. I've been wanting a cookies and cream shake and this one hit the spot. Lots of outdoor seating and the restaurant was clean. Of course with all you can eat fries this place is always a great choice! 😊

First time in red robin. Got sat quickly. Three adults, 3 children. We were waited on quickly as well. Had no idea about bottomless root beer floats. Awesome idea! The burger was yummy, even if it was medium rare and not medium well. Server made sure we had plenty of refills on the floats. I would definitely eat there again. Prices were pretty good too. The video game on the table kept the kids busy. Nice family place.

Kacie was a very sweet waitress and said happy mother’s day to my mom right away! would definitely recommend her!

Can't go wrong with red Robin, our waiter was the greatest. He went above & beyond to demonstrate great service, he had a positive attitude & was having fun working his shift. He helped make our lunch a memorable one in a good way. We are from out of town , far far away from this location but , if we lived in the area we'd be regular diners to have him serve us everytime

From the moment my mother and I walked in, John and everyone made us feel at home. A wonderful and comfortable atmosphere. Everyone was welcome. Our burgers were served without rush (often a problem at restaurants) and we were made to feel at ease through a leisurely meal. That the manager (John) and the serving staff were so personable is a tremendous feat. This will be a new favorite in my dining options!

I order from red robin by my house at least once a week. And I typically order the same thing, and I normally call into ad pineapple to my bonsai wings, like you guys used to have on them. Today I forgot and I felt bad and when I asked the lady if I could get a side of pineapple she informed me that she remembered me and how I like my wings and she had already added the pineapple for me. This is the kind of service that really makes me feel like I am appreciated as a repeat customer and brings me back to a better time when you would wanted to go to a place "where everyone knows your name" and what you order. Atmosphere can be a bit noisy. Service is generally good. 10” serious meat pizza is surprisingly good. Love the fries.

Our Gourmet Burgers and Bottomless Steak Fries were scrumptious. It was my birthday, and they brought me a complimentary ice cream sundae. The service by everyone (host, server, manager) was impeccable. We look forward to our next visit.

Went to Red Robin to celebrate my grandsons graduation from high-school. It accomidated 7 of us easily and quickly. The burgers, salads, never ending fries, and never ending root beer floats were all big hits. 1

Foods consistently good at a good value. I love their smokehouse doubles (which are smash burgers) and the steak fries with the yummy seasoning. Super kid friendly, always have sports games on.

Was welcomed as soon as I walked in and seated right away. Staff was very friendly and our waitress was very attentive and checked in with us often. Offered refills on sides and a to go cup of lelmonade for my daughter. Was even told bye on the way out which I thought was very thoughtful. With the bottomless fries or other sides you will always get full and have some to take home which makes it sometimes cheaper than a lot of fast food restaurants and you are getting better quality food with great service.

I come to this location for office lunch outings. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Food had been tasty and quickly served. It's never busy were we have to wait to be seated or served. They have a bar and TVs with sports on.

had lunch with a friend I haven't seen in a while. Sat in the bar area (Lily was our server) and had the best service out. I've been skipping dinning places as the service hasn't been what it should be. Today it was perfect. I never had to ask for a refill of my tea and I had about 6. Food was delivered quickly but not rushed, refill of fries were hot. Place was clean and staff looked happy while working. As a former rest. manager I know staff reflects how they are treated and respected. Great job to the management team as well. thanks again for a great lunch!

My Wife and I went here today for a Lunch Date. Not only was the food great, the Bartender who waited on us was amazing. He paid attention to our drinks and refilled them before they were empty; he also filled our fries just before we asked. Great Customer Service and attention to detail.

This is really one of the better experiences we've had when visiting with our kids. The burgers are excellent, the environment is fun and festive, and the service was quite good in our experience. We each got different bottomless sides, I like the healthy option of broccoli, but our kids love the fries. I tried the vegetarian burger and it was actually one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had, and have had it several times since. The kids meals are decent value, and even better during one of their kids meal promotions which they run from time to time, usually during the week. At full price, we find that the restaurant and food is a bit on the pricey side, is $18, or $20 or even $16 worth it for a specialty burger? I guess that depends on how much you value a burger. I can't justify such a high price unless you're getting a lot for it, so while we used to eat at Red Robin more regularly, we mainly come when there's a promotion running.

The host seated us right away and the burgers came out in less than 10 minutes. The fries were fresh, but super hot so I actually burned my tongue a bit. Tavern burger hit the spot.

We were not greeted when we walked in, but we were told thank you for coming and to have a good night by multiple staff members on our way out. The only bad thing was the gal that met us and took us to our table. She didn't greet us, just asked how many. And she had stickers all over her face. It looked very unprofessional and was just odd for a person on duty at work to have them all over.

Overall, the entire team at red Robbin's is very warm and welcoming, the restaurant is fully adapted for people with reduced mobility, with reserved parking in front of the establishment, and the staff take good care of you. Perhaps the washbasin in the toilet is a little too high, but it works even when you're sitting in a wheelchair... My Burger was delicious, I was quicker than my waiter Sean H. to ask for a refill on my side botomless, but I'm sure he would have done it anyway as he was very attentive to me. Our server LAUREN was beyond pleasant and nice carrying a smile thru out the time and came to our table multiple times asking us if we need anything or have any questions. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Red Robin at this particular location, and I must say it was a phenomenal dining experience. From the moment I walked through the door, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the stage for a memorable meal. The food was nothing short of delicious. I tried their famous Gourmet Burger, and it truly lived up to its reputation. The patty was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of juiciness and flavor, and the toppings were fresh and abundant. The fries that accompanied the burger were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside - a real delight for the taste buds. Changing my review to 5 stars because last time I was there we had the BEST service we’ve received anywhere since everything opened back up. Our requests for napkins and silverware was addressed instantly, our drinks were never empty, and even though the kitchen was a little backed up our server was checking in to give us updates. We were all very impressed!

Hard to find a Red Robin these days, yet managed to come across two in 3 weeks! The menu is nothing like the bible from days of yore. I'm talking 1985 😁. Probably for the best. However, the best burgers are still available and they will customize to your liking. The seasoning which made them famous is still the one! Nice the burgers haven't changed in 40 years.

It’s an authentic Red Robin’s! Although I havnt been to one in years I do feel like the menu was simplified and the milkshakes that my family and I had were not that great. Overall the food and service was decent and the place was clean. 8/10 probably go again in the distant future.

Ate in the bar area. Always too busy to get good service. Some guy stepping in to help for five minutes pushed a more expensive shake on us that I didn't want. Shakes were half off at happy hour! But whatever this guy served us made it the regular price. 😣 he also left the lid off the oreo cookie jar and the regular bar tender dumped the whole thing all over. Yikes! A shout out to Kindera!!! She's the best!!! 👍

The food was PHENOMENALLY AWESOME!! One would say it's worth losing your teeth over it. The Fire Camp sauce is "slap your mama good stuff". The Brisket burger is amazing. The chocolate shakes are out of this world. We waited approximately 20 minutes to be seated plus another 15 to 20 minutes it place our drink order and an additional 15 to 20 minutes to place our food order. Their "endless fries" was yet to be seen as we were only provided one basket each. The restaurant was not that busy it seemed as if they were short staffed. All in all the food was great. I highly recommend the non-fat water with gluten-free ice. Would we be back?...... 🤔.. yes we would be back as this is the ONLY Red Robin south of the 241 toll road (South Orange County).

Most trips to my Red Robin are nice experience. This last one is no different. Our server was nice and attentive. Food was good (aside from dessert...nothing I'd order again).

Overall the food was great and I had a nice time. I recommend ordering a meal that comes with unlimited fries as a side and they will bring that out to you while you wait for your meal (which doesn’t usually take long). Relatively inexpensive but does have a bit of boisterous background. All things considered it’s a wonderful place with exceptional staff and food

Not bad, pretty good casual for a bite to eat, usually a burger and fries. They have all sorts of burgers here. Bottomless fries are nice even though the serving size is kind of small. This place is usually crowded on the weekends. Bar area is nice, but small compared to some other Red Robins. Overall a good experience and sat down quickly.

We went during a period where we are eating no meat. I was a bit hesitant to try "fake" beef. I LOVE a good burger. I ordered the Impossible burger. Wow, I gotta tell you. It was delicious ! Most definitely will try it again.

We went there with a big group of 22 people. There was another even bigger group! We were waited on with no problem.The people there were really great, and were right there if we needed anything. We were all very impressed with the food, the servers and the people in charge making sure we were all taken care of! There was no wait because we had booked it ahead of time.

Definitely not a flagship store. The service was exceptionally slow and my server didn't even bring the drinks until after my food arrived. Then she disappeared without bringing my change. The only thing more annoying than asking if I wanted change was assuming that I didn't. Mediocre service isn't worth a thirty percent tip.

Last time we were in that place it was dirty. Overflowing trash cans and dirty floors.

For me Red Robin is an average restaurant. I enjoyed the teriyaki chicken sandwich but each serving of fries was somewhere between soggy and under fried (despite asking for the first batch to be well done). Their iced tea was average. My buddy pretty much felt the same way about his barbecue hamburger and fries. Service was good.

The atmosphere is better than the food. The service is usually good but it's just greasy burgers and frozen food flavors. You get what you're expecting which isn't much. At least the fries have free refills.

Very inconsiderate, I ordered fish sandwich, beer in it, pretzels, beer in the cheese. They do not respect clients who do NOT want to consume any alcohol. Besides, their famous onion tower does not taste good any more. So sad

I like Red Robin. However, I can no longer order their “gourmet” burgers. RR is known for their gourmet burgers - it’s their tag line. I ordered the Smoke and Pepper. From the menu, it looks absolutely delicious, but when it reached my table, well, you be the judge based on the picture. The plate came with 7 french fries on it. I immediately asked for another basket of fries. Service was great. Staff is friendly. I was just disappointed in getting one of their signature “gourmet” burgers and getting a deflated, bland tasting patty. Nothing special, yet they charge $13. Go with the tavern burgers. Better tasting, better deal.

I live in South OC, I thought this would be a good location to go to since the only other option is up near South Coast Plaza. Well, I was wrong! This place has super slow service and no one even noticed we were seated until I got up to complain! Service was extremely slow, etc... I guess I'll be forced to go to South Coast Plaza after all!☹️

Just had dinner with my son at Red Robin in Lake Forest near my house. Been here many times before but tonight is my first disappointment, not at the service I received but at what I thought was an odd experience.. definitely not pleasant. My son ordered Reds Taverns Double Burger, and asked for some Jalapeños (pickle) on the side .Chopped jalapeños was brought out. He didn’t mind so we didn’t say anything. When the bill came out, it showed the line for his burger and line below +Fried Jalaps =$1.49. I told our waitress we didn’t get fried jalapenos with the burger but asks for jalapenos on the side. She went to check with someone and came back with a bill of 0.32 cents more saying it was actually more expensive for the fresh jalapenos. I paid the additional $0.32 bill, didn’t know what else to say. Training issue? Or is it a tough economy?

Red Robin, a restaurant known for its bottomless sides, still feels pricey compared to Inn-N-Out, which is located in the same parking lot. However, they do offer a great kids’ menu and special deals on desserts and treats for little ones. The service is also friendly.

The food, as usual, is okay. It's no better or worse here than any other Red Robin. I just happen to find the burgers to be uninspired. They're by no means "bad," they just aren't anything special. Bottomless sides are a nice touch, as are their drinks. But they're portioned just right so you aren't left wanting more anyway. It's an okay dinner out, but watch out for the "freebie" quiz game on the terminal at each table. If you answer a trivia question, you get $1.99 added to your bill. You have a couple seconds after answering to hit a small button with less-legible text offering an instant refund they hope you won't notice.

Red Robin is one of these chains that was once great, but has substantially declined over the years. It amazes me that they are as packed as they are when I go. Yes, I go --- forgetting how bad they are and hoping it was just that one time and one way or another they'll recapture the quality I remember. No. They don't. Tonight was proof of that once again, with yet another "new menu" filled with the same items with a "different" twist to them for the season. Bottom line, the food still doesn't taste great. Service tonight was excellent, but the restaurant was dirty, the prices high for what you are getting, the fries (although bottomless) are plain and boring, and even dipping sauces have lost their flavors. No salt anywhere to be found, and my burger was dry. So again, I'm probably done with Red Robin... And I'll remember you by the incredible fun environment, and innovative menu items that you once had.

We were a party of 8 who were seated 5:30 on Saturday night. 4 couples with separate checks. We placed our orders at 5:40 and did not receive our food for almost one hour. We do not know if it was the server or kitchen. Something is wrong with the service.

I have had 2 poor experiences at this particular Red Robin. The first experience. It was around 9pm and I wanted a nice burger. I ordered on my phone for pick up as the website mentioned the store closed at 10. I drive down there, pull into the spot and type in the spot's meal hop code. When the waitress / hostess answered, she mentioned the store closed at 9 and not 10. She then had to cancel my order and I didn't get my burger. I wasn't too bummed about it but it was pretty inconvenience to drive way over. Luckily there are other restaurants in the parking lot. My recommendation would be to sync the store hours at the restaurant to the store hours on the website to avoid future confusion. My second experience seemed good while there, but when I received my burger, it did seem a little more rare than a "medium" as I requested, but I was hungry and am not one to complain, but about an hour after eating it, my SO and I both felt sick. We both were away from each other all day and the only food we both had was the burgers from red robin. I don't know that I can recommend this red robin to friends and family after these two experiences.

Skip it. "Endless" fries is eight at a time... BLTA had two tiny pieces of bacon and one slice of "turkey". Service was great, but it can't make up for the lack of quality of the food.

This place really needs to wrap it up. It felt dirty inside, aged. The floor was sticky. Service was not great... didn't get my refills, had to practically beg for napkins and silverware. We will not be coming back.

I had a very disappointing double tavern cheese burger last night. The bottom bun was too soggy to hold sandwich like. The skin slice of tomato was warm, soft and underrate, so it removed it. The lettuce was not fresh and the entire burger was soaked. The French fries were textured like reheated. Look at the menu picture. This is nothing like it. McDonald’s does a better job.

Normally love this place. Our food was dropped on the floor and there was hair in one dish. Asked for extra fries multiple times. Poorly run kitchen, watched lots of food sit at window for more than five minutes while time we were there. Need some better training and management needs to step up. Our normal killer wait staff was not there. We asked for the manager multiple times and no one ever came out. Bad, bad, bad...

Even by the chain restaurant standards it was just plain revolting. My sandwich was cold and soggy, the fries were also limp and barely warm but my wife's sandwich was just disgusting: avocado was brown inside, and the meat was outright spoiled tasting horrible and smelling even worse. Will never set foot into this place again.

It was the slowest service I’ve ever experienced. Took forever to get our food. The quality of the food had gone way down. The fries were soggy and the wrap sandwich was tasteless. I won’t be coming back.

What I'm irritated about is their soda ice cream floats. They charge five to six dollars and half of the drink is ice very little ice cream. For the price you're paying you can get half a gallon of ice cream. Really, you have to short change on the soda as well. Did the soda float drink consist of 2 tablespoons of ice cream,2 oz of soda and 3/4 of the cup filled with ice? It sure tastes like that was what you did. Update: I looked at their website and description and saw differences between what sold vs served I got a soda filled with ice. A tiny amount of ice cream and whipped cream on top. ZERO ice cream inside bottom of the glass like PICTURED! Total ripoff. I used to go to Red Robin once every 2 weeks. Now it is once every 2 years. Then I get reminded why I go there less and less. While Red Robin rubber stamps these compliments as they are reading the feedback, they actually do nothing. Also quit shrinking the food and charging more.

Red Robins Bottomless Burger Pass is a Scam.....Nation wide they only sold 100 of them......When trying to log on their servers must be dinosauric because all i was getting was a 504 Error saying gateway timed out, HOST error. Then when trying again, said I was blocked .......IF this is how Red Robin is going to start conducting business and subjecting customers to such madness, then we need to look for a new place to eat.

The restaurant was half full, we had a group of 5. The food was good but no unlimited fries. I asked twice for more fries and they never came. As we were getting up to leave the manager came over with the fries so I declined them and she said they got very busy. The restaurant was half full. No apology just an excuse. Give a full serving to begin with and "unlimited" fries would not be an issue.

I have always loved Red Robin and I’ve eaten at this location several times with my children. I always get the same meal so I know what to expect but this time, that was not the case. I always get the BLTA Croissant with a side salad. They always come with 3 or 4 slices of turkey. This time it only came with one small slice. I was confused. Did they cut back on their portions but not their prices? I could have make this at home. Also the lettuce on the salad was turning brown and was welting. Even the tomatoes tasted like it was going bad. I don’t think I will be back. Too bad because it’s my son’s favorite place to eat since he was a child but the price for the turkey sandwich is too much for only 1 slice of turkey meat. They should do better.

(3/21/19) I used to come to this Red Robin all the time. It was a really good burger place in the area. But, ever since the re-design the service has been laughable. Wait times for food have nearly doubled in the past year and the staff seems to always be in a bad mood. The food is alright, but I would not come here if you want fast service (Edit 6/1/19) I have changed my review from 3 to 2 stars following my visit today. Once again this Red Robin has failed to meet even basic expectations. The restaurant is near empty with scattered tables filled, yet from the time I ordered it took nearly 50 minutes for them to bring out my food. My drink (Hawaiian Heart Throb smoothie) was sour and did not come with whipped cream or a cherry as advertised. The ranch I asked for 3 times never came and I was left with dry fries. I most likely will not be coming back here as they wasted their chance to redeem themselves. (Edit 12/23/19) This location has officially met its end. To start, they no longer serve alcohol past 9:30 PM, even in the bar. The burger I ordered (Smokey Jack Tavern Double) was dry and nearly flavorless. The "endless" fries come out at 10 fries at a time, in an attempt to make a quick penny. To say I was disappointed today would be an understatement. Truly upsetting experience.

Menu says "all our burgers come with unlimited sides" but doesn't say its an upcharge for those sides. Our burgers were small and came out of the kitchen 3 minutes after we ordered. Our drinks came after our food. Our cocktails were all sugar. We wanted to order more drinks but our server forgot that we existed. The robot that we were supposed to pay through was not clear about the total. It said "0" garlic fries, but charged us for them any way. This was my first and last time at a red Robin, I'll be going to a more professional establishment like Dennis or Carl's Jr.

I came here last week because they have an extensive app with allergens. I have Celiac disease and need to eat gluten free. I told the waitress I have Celiac and asked for them to change gloves and inquired about if they have a separate fryer for gluten free fries. She said that they did. I ordered a lettuce wrapped "burning love" burger, subbing out the fried jalapeño coins for regular pickled jalapeños and sweet potato fries. Service was sloooow. Water refills were non existent until our food arrived. My burger came with a purple allergy pick in it. As I was eating, I noticed something scratchy. Deep fried jalapeño coins. Gluten is anything with wheat, barley, rye or cooked in a shared fryer with those things. I even went back and looked at a video clip I filmed of my burger and noticed in one part I could see a fried jalapeño coin with the allergy pick. I'll include the screenshot. I wish I had noticed that before I ate it! Staff remade my burger and took it off my bill, but I still had to go to the restroom to throw up and I was sick for the next 4 days while on my trip to LA. Celiac is an autoimmune disease, not an allergy. I'm not going to have an allergic reaction that requires an EpiPen. No, instead my body will start to destroy my own intestines and cause intestinal bleeding and other gastro-related issues. 1 glutening with just a crumb of gluten will elevate my antibodies in my blood work for up to 3 months after the event. My burger came with refillable fries. Once I got the remade burger the waitress asked my husband if he'd like a refill of my sweet potato fries (???) and forgot to make them in the dedicated fryer as they didn't have the allergy marker. Ridiculous. Red Robin markets itself as a place that can handle allergens and dietary restrictions. It seems that's all a marketing ploy. Their entire staff needs to be retrained on food safety. They could kill someone being this flippant. Visited: September 2023

Went last night with my family of four and chose to sit in the bar area, took about 30 minutes just to get someone to take our order( our server ended up being the bartender) while people showing up after us seemed to get their server and basket of fries. Time goes by, everyone else around us already has their food, their assigned waitresses coming around refilling the fries. Asked another tables waitress to see if at least our appetizer was coming out soon which she said she'll check with our server and never came back. Now it's been close to an hour, no fries, no food everyone else is pretty much done. Had to get up and walk to the bar top to ask our bartender/server if we could at least get our fries to which her response was (oh let me put that order in for you) wasn't it already supposed to be put in if we got the endless fries when we order? Food comes, no appetizer. Had to ask for it again and finally it comes and they're cold as if they've just been sitting at the window the whole time (boneless wings). I ask if I could get them remade because the whole appetizer was cold, and she comes back and says the manager took care of it. Took care of it how? I still wanted the appetizer but they decided to just take it off the check and not make them again without telling us. At the end when it comes to pay she asks if everything was alright to which we explain whatever happened to appetizer but oh there must have been some miscommunication but it was comped, no comped means you still get your order but they front the bill on the appetizer. They just took it off the check as if I didn't order it. Seriously don't go here if you want bad service.

Really unsanitary. We thought it was us. Three times we have visited this location. We have become sick right afterwards. This last time we went to the hospital and found out we had a high level of bacteria in our stomachs to find out after further testing it was from Red Robin. Any other location maybe better. This location is not ideal unless you like to be sick or you are drinking enough alcohol to hopefully kill some of the bacteria down. We have reached out to the store to get placed on hold. Now our attorney is handling the situation.

The Red Robin Foothill Ranch looks like it's seen better days. Not sure why the locals hit this place up. Wait was 30 minutes. Declined waiting inside since someone's kid decided to be unwell on a waiting room seat. Got seated then...waited for about 15 minutes with everyone ghosting us. Had to get up and stand in front of a server. Apparenyly the genius manager let a server go without checking if anyone was waiting. I gave the service 3 stars because the girl who helped us, really cared. She's a five star server working at a dump. Place is never empty though, so hey somebody likes the place.

Kids were screaming in the store. My. Burger was way too small, it was slider sized. The fries were half crunchy and half rubbery. The food was not good here, the only advantage was the bottomless fries. The place wasn't very sanitary it felt outdated and vintage.

We waited an hour to get our food, and it was hot lamp gross. My husbands salad was warm and totally wilted into almost a soup. His chicken was rubbery and unseasoned. My turkey burger had a stale bun with a microwaved patty that had the texture of a bouncy ball. Our friends shared a burger and there’s tasted like dog food (and they never complain). We ordered bottomless fries for the table and never got a second order. We asked another server to bring some out, because after an hour we were starving. We never saw them and only saw our server at the beginning and end our time there. We’ve eaten there before and the service was good but the food has always been spotty. We won’t be going back to this location again.

Horrible service, rude, sat us in the bar area with a toddler, didn’t even give us 5 min to settle in and your server on 8/13/2025 at 630pm was the rudest employee ever. Trying to protect the other customer, I work in the restaurant business and a family owned restaurant, the way your employee acted was very unprofessional… it was disgusting…. And allowing the customer to talk to me the way they did… was very rude .. I did tell the customer off…. Her own husband didn’t protect her cause she knows she was in the wrong… your server was even in shock and told him off and said I’ll leave instead…. All I have to say is you should be very disappointed how your employee acted… I’m a very good customer but the fact that I didn’t even get 5 min to calm my child and just sat down was disgusting… I’d like to talk to the owner as well..
