Showed up last Sunday night at 8 pm and received the most delicious fried chicken tenders I've had in a long time. The woman at the drive thru was so nice.

These ladies are champs. We had a huge order I think the biggest they ever had. They got it all together and we took it to our coworkers. it was hot and tasty. They were in great spirits assembling the order and they were taking care of their busy drive thru also. Very well done.

Every time I go here the service is great! I am allergic to honey and they are great about putting in fresh biscuits for me and also washing the tongs and giving me chicken that hasn't been touch by the tongs before they are washed.

I went thru the drive thru. I wanted the freshest chicken and of course that’s what I got. The biscuits were hot, fresh & ready to go ! I’m so glad churches decided to come back to Freeport!!

The chicken is cooked to juicy perfection. The biscuits are soft and flakey. The okra isn't as crunchy as I prefer, but it's still really tasty. The service was quick and the prices a great.

I ordered two chicken breast and fried okra. I paid for two chicken breast and the okra. I got a thigh with hardly any meat on it and a leg. Guess they don’t know what chicken breast are. Will not go there again.

So....Although it was understaffed and I had to go in after 8-10 min behind one car... the staff was very professional and courteous. They did make my order fresh and I was ok waiting another 20 min. The bourbon black pepper chicken was tough and very small. Maybe a better recipe for rotisserie or baking. Definitely not a fry recipe. They are overall way over priced for their food.

Their original wrap is delicious. But I’m not a big fan of their coleslaw. The lady, I think her name is Lexi, the one with pink hair. She was very friendy and I really like the energy there. It’s just delightful.

We ordered at this location and requested the 16 piece Famile Meal with mash potatoes, two sides of fries, and an added regular coleslaw. The cashier who rang us up in the drive thru seemed to not care for doing a good job as he did not read back the order to us and it ended up being completely wrong. We received a 10 piece Family Meal with two mash potatoes, biscuits, and a large coleslaw. This is very disappointing as Church's has always been a staple in our home.

There’s one lady that does not need to be running the register or making orders every time she messes mine up and she’s serving other peoples orders that came in after me whenever we had the same thing. She messed my order up twice today I didn’t say anything the second time because I had already been in there over 30 minutes. I know there super busy since it just opened back up and the guy running the place is very good and seems like he’s trying to stay on top of everything

If I could give negative 5 I would. Customer service skills of the employees are null & void. They forgot several things in my order, I had to drive back up there and the lady shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes. I feel if a person spends their money they should not be treated this way at any business. The Cajun rice was ice cold.

One visit, they completely had NO chicken. I can understand having to wait for some to be made but this is pretty much ALL you sell! Staff seems more occupied about their social lives, latest gossip or whatever while getting your order. Have even seen an employee come after work intoxicated to talk to friends working through drive thru. Reason i know she was intoxicated was because their conversation was that loud! Sadly i return on rare occasions just because its local.

Very upset.... They still had 15 minutes until close. I worked all day and couldn't wait for churches chicken. DT attendant said they were closed rudely. That was after waiting 5 minutes ,before we were even acknowledged!, unprofessionally I might add. No " Welcome to Churches" just " we're closed". Man... I figured a brand new place would need the money to pay for the new Building. As I drove past their window, they had a big rack of chicken. I guess that is going home for the employees if they were not gonna sell it? Not going back and time soon

The girls were nice and friendly, the store is out dated by about 20 years. The owner obviously doesn't care and curb appeal. Out of this, out of that. Basically only had drumsticks. It's not the workers it's the owners. Credit card reader reads slow when the phone rings. Took 10 mins to get receipt. If you want to have a bad experience come here.

I ordered 2 texas tenders and shrimp combos. I drive from Houston to my job site in Freeport. I was late to work waiting on my order because it took so long. When I get to my job site and open my box neither one of them had shrimp. I called 3 times with no answer. So I call customer service, talked to someone and was told I would receive a phone call from management. never got a call so I call customer service the next day and was told I have a case pending. Here it's 2 days later no phone call. I've never had service like this.

Worst meal I've ever had from any Churches Chicken. Ordered the #2 all white meat with a side of okra. Everything was dry and hard as a rock. The only thing that remotely tasted fresh was the mashed potatoes and we all know those things are instant. Won't be back...

This location (or franchisee owner) is not honoring the corporates everyday deals here. Mind you it's not coupons but everyday deals that are suppose to be honored at this location by corporate Church's Chicken website. I guess I will be driving to Popeye's to get chicken from now on. Their excuses for not honoring the everyday deal (not coupon), is that they don't do the advertising on website when I recommended they take this address of the website as an everyday deal location. All the above is my opinion from nformation I received from staff that I talked to at drive thru window today.

For it to just reopen, l would think it would be better than ever.. NOT. I went through the drive through ordered and was told to park and the food would be brought out. We'll after waiting 15 minutes I just went in to see how much longer. When I walked in the place was filled with smoke so thick it could take your breath away. One of the staff said to wait just a minute and she didn't come back to help me until she completed 4 more orders. 15 more minutes passed before I got my food. When I got got home and opened that box I just started cursing. That chicken was so old and dry. I couldn't believe that they would serve that to a paying customer. Completely disappointed.

I don't get why they make it 24 hours if the employees don't want to work I went tonight around 10:30 and waited on the intercom for help once i got no answer i just drove to the window again no help i then drove to the front and can see a employee sitting down playing games on his phone he also looked at me and continued being on the phone 🤦🏾‍♂️McDonalds it is i guess 😂

I had a large order so I didn’t mind waiting… until I saw another large order go out before me. Turned out, they hadn’t even started my order yet. You know it’s bad when they ask you for your receipt. They even tried to blame me for their mistake. SMH! I was standing there the whole time, watching them play around in the kitchen. When they finally started boxing my chicken, it wasn’t even fresh. I don’t expect much from these places but I at least want what I came for and some common courtesy. They didn’t care about me waiting over 30 minutes, didn’t offer compensation for their negligence. They didn’t even have everything I ordered. It was just all bad.

The drive thru speaker was so distorted, with a Spanish woman whose English was very difficult to understand. Made ordering a challenge. The two chicken wraps were disgusting. The tortillas and the chicken were both cold and were sloppy, made with no concern about quality whatsoever. Chicken was undercooked. Horrible!!! Won't be back.

They don’t awswer the phone so you can complain about the order being wrong I ordered online and they didn’t have the chicken. Wrap which is fine but they could have replaced it with something else and I ordered okra with my 12 piece meal and didn’t even get a large okra smh come on 40$ meal

Waited 30 min to get threw the line had to pull off and go in to get order. They were out of half the items on the menu. The food we did get was all dry and bland. Definitely not worth the $ or time.

Lowest rating is 1 and don't deserve that, first of all waiting for 10 mins to take order and only one car in front of me, got up to window and took another 5 mins to get order, order was made and just sitting there, a female makes a drink thinking it is mine and sticks a draw in the drink and proceeds to start drinking it in the food prep area and then walks away and another female walking around doing nothing then an older black female comes to the window talking on the phone then proceeds to make the drink, I received my food and drink and paid for it and leave. Chicken is cold, did not receive biscuit and okra was cold and dried out and three very small pieces of chicken that I paid 11.19 for, I will not be going back to this facility again. You pay good money and expect decent food and service and cannot get it and these folks complain they don't make a decent wage, I wonder why. This place is poorly mismanaged. Rates up there as one of the worst places I have been in a while.

My order was actually ready when I picked it up, but it was incomplete and I had to go inside to get the sides that weren’t left out of my order. Also, if you want okra, go to Chicken Express. The pic shows Church’s okra on the left for $6.49, and Chicken Express’s okra on the right for $6.14. Church’s used to serve their family sides of okra in a box and you actually got your money’s worth, but now you get very little for $7. Plus Chicken Express’s was crispier and had more flavor.

Pulled up at 6:58 for a 7:00pm online pickup that I ordered 2+ hours ago. Not busy. Was told they hadn't even dropped the GD chicken. After 20 minutes they came out and said no mashed potatoes, no corn, no coleslaw, no tea... So instead of of three large sides I got replacement regular sides. Simply bad management or process. I know it's Christmas but management failed their employees and customers. Not to mention, when I went to check my order and employee said "it's all there Sir." Real snotty.

I swear I only come to this place because of my old lady. I can't stand how I can order something through the app and be told it'll be ready at a certain time. It's aggravating because one it's never ready and two they're always out of something what is the point of having all those employees in there and no food to be given to the orders. I always order online just because I can't stand going in there just to be told my food is never ready on time I can make a simple order of even jalapeño bombers and it'll take almost an hour just to get them. I really can't stand it and they won't tell me about my order unless I go in and say I'm here for my order when they have my number to contact me to let me know instead they wait and then tell me that it'll be another 20 minutes for my order that I already waited 20 minutes for already and spent 40$. So you mean to tell me I've gotta wait almost an hour for something that should've been done cause when I placed the order no one was there in the parking lot or even in the drive thru. And to top it all off paid for 12 jalapeño bombers and only got an order of 8

I did an online order and they didn’t have what I ordered and were not willing to work with me to make it right but wanted me to take a an all dark meat option that’s 10$ less than what I ordered for same price I paid. Then told me refund I had to wait for them to put refund in and it would take 2-3 business days. Very very poor customer service. Turn off online ordering if you can’t provide what your website offers or courtesy call at least to let customer know we don’t have it would you like to cancel before we charge your card. Never come to this location again!!!!

I was having some concerns about this location as the Google reviews were pretty bad, but still decided to give it a try. We placed a 2-person meal on their official app, and when picked up, they only gave us half of the order. My partner didn’t realize it until he got home, and now we have only 1-person meal for two of us. Not to mention that now we need to waste time to get more food, we tried to request refund via their app, and that’s one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an app. In short, we did not get our money back. Please avoid this location.

I went and passed by for a quick bite and no one was around to take an order. I left giving it a second but when I came back they were closing and according to the paper on their window saying they close at 11pm. Who knows how their food is because apparently no one wants to work tonight.

I am currently in line waiting for a 2piece meal! I have been sitting here 20mins. In THE DRIVE THROUGH!!!!! The lady at the window wiped my drink with dirty napkins!!! And got mad that I asked he to remake my drink. Also I came here at 11pm yesterday and they ignored me and my husband when we tried to order food! I thought this location was 24hrs. I will not be coming back! I highly recommend going to Popeyes down the street . If you want chicken

Purchased a 3 piece with coleslaw and sweet tea. Well my chicken was overcooked dry no seasoning they gave me fries instead of my coleslaw my biscuit was like a rock my tea was warm barely any ice. Once I got home I saw my lunch I did call to complain with the manager Sandra and she quickly took my name and said she would give me credit as long as I had my receipt as I did. Hoping next time it will be much better.

Normally when I visit during the evening shift, the service is amazing and the food is fresh. Oh but today… I went in around 10:50 am and ordered a 3pc white. While the manager was very friendly and polite, she still sold me some old, dried out chicken. I will NEVER visit in the morning ever again. That is horrible. Church’s ain’t cheap. That chicken ain’t have no juice, no flavor, taste like it was dried and fried with no grease. The biscuit was perfect soft with a good honey coating. But the chicken! That manager should be written up for that. Put it in damages or throw outs. Don’t sell your customers old chicken. Who cares about the numbers when you’re losing customers? Better damage that chicken and cook some fresh.

So I selected this restaurant because I use the upside app and with the upside app you get a percentage back in cash back however I did an online order remind you my order was close to $60 and they didn’t have white meat so they told me that I can take Dark meat which the value of the dark meat was $10 less than the white meat or I could sit there and do a refund and the only problem with that is if you do a refund then you have to wait five business days to get your money back so I asked the cashier can we just do chicken tenders instead and they were not willing to do that. I feel like if I’m giving you an option I’m trying to meet you halfway because it’s not my fault that Your system allowed me to order something that you didn’t have. They were very rude. They were not trying to work with me. It was late. We were already eating late, so the fact that they weren’t even trying to help Work with me and then I spoke to the manager. He wasn’t very helpfuland then they called the district manager and then they’re sitting there telling me that I can do a refund from the app, which I couldn’t do. The district manager had to do it just very poor customer service. They do not have to worry about me ever going there again.

This is the worst church in Freeport, Texas according to workers. They are rude as well, upper management is very unprofessional. They close at 9:30 PM instead of closing at 10 PM. I will never go back to this place.

Normally when I visit during the evening shift, the service is amazing and the food is fresh. Oh but today… I went in around 10:50 am and ordered a 3pc white. While the manager was very friendly and polite, she still sold me some old, dried out chicken. I will NEVER visit in the morning ever again. That is horrible. Church’s ain’t cheap. That chicken ain’t have no juice, no flavor, taste like it was dried and fried with no grease. The biscuit was perfect soft with a good honey coating. But the chicken! That manager should be written up for that. Put it in damages or throw outs. Don’t sell your customers old chicken. Who cares about the numbers when you’re losing customers? Better damage that chicken and cook some fresh.

I was having some concerns about this location as the Google reviews were pretty bad, but still decided to give it a try. We placed a 2-person meal on their official app, and when picked up, they only gave us half of the order. My partner didn’t realize it until he got home, and now we have only 1-person meal for two of us. Not to mention that now we need to waste time to get more food, we tried to request refund via their app, and that’s one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an app. In short, we did not get our money back. Please avoid this location.

For it to just reopen, l would think it would be better than ever.. NOT. I went through the drive through ordered and was told to park and the food would be brought out. We'll after waiting 15 minutes I just went in to see how much longer. When I walked in the place was filled with smoke so thick it could take your breath away. One of the staff said to wait just a minute and she didn't come back to help me until she completed 4 more orders. 15 more minutes passed before I got my food. When I got got home and opened that box I just started cursing. That chicken was so old and dry. I couldn't believe that they would serve that to a paying customer. Completely disappointed.
