My fiancé and I stopped in at Wendy’s Off of Artesia and we had great food seemed better than usual. Maybe because Rudy a.k.a papi was back there cheffing everything with love care and affection. He gave great service and even had us laughing. I’m glad we decided to stop in. Definitely a great Wendy’s morning to go to.
One good thing about eating at Wendy's is the food doesn't sit in the heating areas. The burger was hot and fresh along with the fries. I went through the drive through so I don't know about the inside.

First time being in this remodeled Wendy's and wow they have upper their game. Burgers were juicier than ever before, staff was super polite and it's clean and nice inside. Keep it up Wendy's.
I personally think it's the best fast food restaurant. The baked potatos they serve there has lots to do with my rating for Wendy's. I highly recommend for you to try out the bacon and cheese or sourcream and chives. The have multiple choices of different kinds of baked potatoes 🥔
What day is is is without a doubt my favorite burger place. I like a traditional burger with ketchup mayo mustard and then the cold parts… lettuce pickles and tomato and sliced onion just like a backyard barbecue! Yum!
Got a number 11 (Asiago chicken club) it was super bomb!! Great employs, took my ebt card even in the drive through. Super quick and fresh too, the line going around the building that almost turned me away was gone in under 5 min. Thank you to the Wendy's crew!! Nom nom 👌😋👍
The breakfast baconator with a strawberry lemonade. Whoa a very good combination. Be sure to sit down and eat. Will appreciate it and enjoy it better. If you go through the drive thru just pull over and park. Finf your favorite station and get yo grub on

Our order of food was really fresh and hot. This was really one of those times were I actually enjoyed fast food. Just was looking for something to snack on before boarding my flight at LAX...i was pleasantly surprise that 🍟 were 🔥. Our 🍔 was nice and fresh tasting and the soda pop really a fizz...nice job Wendy's...oh our order was the 5.00 big bag which was nuggets, bacon jr. burger fries and drink.
Excellent customer service, friendly and very helpful. Nice atmosphere, great place to sit and have a meal. Employees come around and will pick up your trash and trays, if necessary. I visited at 7 pm on 10-13-17 and was impressed with the service and quality of the food.
For good fast food, this is great! Order is almost always correct (one time they forgot an item), food is prepared correctly and always tasty...it can get a bit pricey if you have a big order, but the Wendy's app is a must-have tool for coupons!
Wendy's Burgers these days have been tasting the best ever! their food their seems to have new and improved flavor. My wife loves to go and eat the food couple times a week.

Hi, I have always had good food and service. I look forward to talking to the friendly employees, especially Martha. My only complaint is that the dining area is always so cold that it feels like the room temperature is subzero. I mean really freezing cold. Like cold, cold, cold . Bill P
Had a large order and they managed to get everything correct the first go. This is twice as far as the local wendys, but we had a bad experience about masks there (the person handling the food refused to wear one while the pandemic was really taking off) so we prefer to go a bit farther than to deal with them.
I usually don't post reviews for fast food places, but my my, I was quite impressed by the service of the drive through lady. I've never seen someone more alert but polite during a rush hour. She kept taking orders through drive through, stayed professional with me, all the while putting together the food items in bags. I know that's what all drive through employees do, but I feel like she did an exceptional job, and that can only reflect the type of quality training from the managers. Keep up the good work guys!
Stopped by for quick early dinner. Kaleb handled many orders and difficult customers while I was there. I just thought he is doing an excellent job. Thought someone should hear that.
Five stars for always serving hot fresh food. Top notch for a juicy burger and crunchy fries joint, can't forget the great Frosty to top it off. Faster and better than In 'n' Out in my opinion and at a much better price point.
I love this location. They always give good service. They always get my order right. The food is fresh and and taste good. It is also nicely remodeled where it makes it a nice environment. And they are always so friendly towards my 2 year old daughter that wants to say hi at least 5 times each time.
Got here while they were swamped with guests and long drive thru line. Ordered our food with Jose who was very friendly and seemed to be in back pain but kept a warm composure. When things slowed down a little bit Jose had realised our order was skipped and apologized profusely. Got our order after about 35 minutes of waiting when first ordered but we like this location for the staff and the food. 10/10 would wait again.
$5 Biggie Bag keeps me coming back. The bacon cheeseburger is visually small but so surprisingly satisfying that I don't really even need the chicken nuggets (but I eat them anyway)! The fries are consistently hot and fresh. My only complaint is they could maybe filter the water for the coke machine - the flavor is just a little off.

Service at fast food rarely is out of the norm. It usually is exactly the same. But this Wendy's went the extra mile for us.

John Smith...don't totally dump on a place just based on one visit and one employee who doesn't understand customer service. I go here all the time. It's my main Wendy's hook up, lunch time to late night. Super Fast drive thru window, super fresh. They've NEVER messed up my order and everyone working drive thru window has been perfectly professional. As fast food drive thru, they are better than expected! Burgers, excellent salads, chili, etc. Great place! For years!!
It was great I got to admit I really enjoyed the food but I don't think it was a very good value had I known it was going to cost that much I definitely could have. had a better meal breakfast places new everything was pristine and the service was terrific

Just fyi for vegetarians, if you ask for the burger without a burger or even just on the side and you’ll still pay for it they say they “Arent allowed to”. Wendy’s is still way behind all the other restaurants with vege food available, let alone a button on the POS that says “on side” “see me” “special” “no meat”. It’s pretty abysmal.

Everybody seemed to have the same idea to come to this Wendy's. I placed my order via the mobile app. The line was long and it took some time so 4 instead of 5 stars. The staff was friendly and efficient, the order was correct and most importantly the food was still hot after the drive home!
The service here has always been day and friendly for me, even during a busy lunch rush. It's always clean, and I've never had a problem with my food. Parking is abundant, but getting in and out can be tough. It's so close to Artesia that trying to find an opening in traffic can be tough.
For the amount of customers vs employees i was impressed by the speed & accuracy of the order. If this is everyday there more staff is needed. Seems to be a very busy location & coukd be even more so with more staff. Inside area was clean & cozy actually. Restrooms also very clean.
Cheap food, their 4 for $4 deal was too hard to pass up and their baked potato is great for the price! Redesigned the inside of their place, but took a star off because their condiments and napkins we're not stocked and their soda machine was out of half the options. Would go back!
I love this Wendy's. The staff is usually very friendly and the $1 ant size fries definitely has me coming back. The reason I took off a star is because they charged me $1 for asking for a couple sides of awesome sauce
This location had some of the best tasting Wendy's burgers I've had in a while. Service and staff was great as well. Although, the burgers seemed kinda small these days. Not sure if its always been this way or I'm getting fatter... :/
The Spicy Chicken Sandwich was more expensive and smaller than Jack in the box, even the tomato portion was minimum and the lettuce about the size of 2 fingers... However, the chicken was bigger and tastier than Jack in the box... So... Even if they put less amount of beggies I will prefer Wendy's from now on... I'll put more tomato and Lettuce at home. Went thru the drive-thru and got my order really quickly. Instead of french fries, I got a baked potato, thinking that would be healthier. After getting home to eat, I saved the potato for last. The chicken sandwich was pretty good, but when I started eating the potato, I noticed something was wrong with it. I guess, I was the only a who had ordered a baked potato in quite sometime. The potato skin was thick, like it had been kept hot for a few days or something. It was inedible! Yuck!
Fries were not very hot and the burger needed warming as well. And my air fryer took care of those issues not Wendy's, LOL! Once I reheated the fries and the burger they were pretty darn good. But they should have came out that way out of the drive-thru

The restaurant was in satisfactory conditions, but the food was cold and the fountain drink machine was out of the soda flavor that I wanted. Overall I would give a rating of 3 stars to this establishment.
Me and my husband went to Wendy's on Western Avenue in the city of Gardena And we usually have a great experience but this time my husband ordered A junior bacon cheeseburgerAnd he found a piece of metal in his Burger. The manager was very nice and cooperative and she refunded our money But that experience was horrible.
Nothing is wrong about this particular location, I just think they're way better fast food burgers. The one thing that Wendy's has above the others: their chocolate shakes. However, I was pretty disappointed with the size of the cup they now come in. So, the three stars is not for this particular location. It's just how I feel about the brand.
The actual customer care was excellent I just didn't appreciate not being able to use Apple pay Samsung pay Google pay or any other type of wallet that might be on your phone. Because they don't accept those types of payments. The food was awesome that location was very clean. I received my food within 5 minutes of me placing an online order.
The cashier, Virginia, was rude to not just me, but the customer in front of me who was asking simple questions, seeing as he doesn't work for the company and would have no way of knowing any answers. Her approach is unwelcoming and the ways she speaks to people isn't the Wendy's standard. She belongs at McDonald's. No signage up to tell customers that there is a fee for any sauce, regardless of the meal type but becomes offended when asked for sauce and surprised when people pay for it. Kaleb needs more hours on front register.
I give this Wendy a 3 because of service. I placed my order via mobile and comformed that when the worker asked to take my order in drive thru. When I arrived at the window, the server looked puzzled and asked me what was my order. I calmly stated that I placed a mobile order under D.R. She stepped away from the window then told me to pull forward, my order will be brought out to me. Two cars behind me received their order and left. I am still sitting and waiting. About 10 to 15 minutes later my order was brought to me and of course it was wrong but I was not going back because it was late. I can't understand why it took so long because I ordered a chicken nugget kids meal and a chicken sandwich biggie meal with a coke zero. I could understand if my meal was complicated but come on Wendys...

Casheir was rude.... when she repeated the order back to me I noted i have 3 burgers not 4 and she said "thats why i was telling you" . I thought the point of repeating the order is to make sure the order is correct. Its ok if the casher added an item by mistake but its not ok if she's sassy and blaming the customer. Its not a big deal its a mistake just dont be rude to customers please. Food was good though.
This wasn't the first time I was highly disappointed in the the food I received but I will admit this time the manager on duty was fair and gracious after remaking my rare burger. However, there have been just too many instances of disappointments so I will not be going back to this location.
Stopped to grab breakfast on the way out of town. We both got the bacon/egg sandwich with coffee. The sandwich was dry and my cheese was barely melted. The seasoned potatoes were great, but would be better with ketchup (a little dry too). Generally, thought it was expensive for what we got. I think there are better options like their maple chicken croissant.
This was the slowest Wendy's drive through I have ever been in! I should have clocked them! I turned my electric car off every time the line moved just to save my battery. After a couple of false starts,they got my order correct. And the food was good, warm, and tasty! But they seemed disorganized when I got up to the window to pay I asked for one ketchup, and I got two. After I drove away and found a place to park I discovered they did not give me any napkins!
If you expect to receive proper customer service, DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. I was wrongly overcharged and when I tried to get reimbursed, this unbelievably stubborn employee fought with me for 15 minutes over a matter of 50 cents. For me, this was not about the money, it was about the principle. I was done with fast food places taking advantage of me, that's why I take things this far now. But even after I complained to the "district manager" about my horrible experience, he couldn't care less about pleasing me and making sure I was satisfied so that I might return. Most places would offer me free food as compensation for bad experiences, but this guy wouldn't give me anything unless I beat it out of him. Not only that, but this so-called "district manager" argued with me also when I correctly said they still owed me money. He didn't even bother to apologize for his rudeness and he was just one of the stingiest managers I ever had to deal with. The people running this restaurant have never heard of the expression "The customer is ALWAYS RIGHT". It is very obvious that these people do not value my business at all, so I will be staying far away from this Wendy's and I urge everyone else to do the same.

Im given this facility a 1 star because upon returning on august 24th at 11.40pm to pay a debt from the prior night since the system wouldnt accept my electronic payment upon trying to purchase food from the manager. But this evening i had a supervisor telling me, not advising me what to do, but telling me what to do like im a child because I didnt wait to go to the intercom to speak to someone to make the payment i owed. There was no risk in how i entered the line but yet i was yelled at for having integrity and returning to pay what i owed. So I thank the manager that helped me in my time of need but since the staff wants to tell me what to do i have suggestions on what should be done. Retrain them on how to speak to paying customers and to show more respect or youll lose more business. Ive already notified my emtore family to avoid this company and we all live within a 5 mile radius of a wendys. I do not tolerate disrespect especially when im trying to pay your company my hard earned money.
Usually a good spot but today the lady behind the counter was just so rude and short with me. Usually they accept EBT food stamps but today they didn't for some reason. She was very dismissive and ignored me when I tried to order again with some money my husband spared me. I dunno her name cuz her name tag was blacked out but whoever was working at 12:45pm on Tuesday June 8th. Anyway, I'll come back cuz ya know how it is but yeah.
Good customer service we ordered the food it was ok .the salads were ok god hamburgers and the chicken nuggets was ok. The cashier ask us if we wanted sauce we said ok barbeque .bake potato was good. Got home and there was no sauce only the salad dressing. Won't go back any time soon 🤔👍

Try to use online coupon. They scan your coupon then say the coupon didn't scan then try to make me pay full price for a order I already payed for. Not ok they manager was not in no way helpful just trying to get more money out of me by trying to make me pay full price. Not a good experience. This happen befor and the manager fix it befor. Guess I got to go to the other wendys where customer service is better and not trying to trick me or get over on me.
Been here on several occasions after midnight. Service isn’t too good. One night I drove up during my 30 minute lunch. The attendant decided to talk to his buddy, who was holding up the line of about 4 cars, for about 20 minutes. The others and I left because we knew we weren’t going to get our food any time soon.
Use to love Wendy's chili & beans, got one yesterday and it was the worst I've ever had, even found a piece of plastic in my chili, and the taste was discussing. I will never eat their again 😝 and will never recommend Wendy's to anyone.
Went here for a quick meal and was disappointed. They did not have grilled chicken for the salad. They also did not have toys for the kids meals. We had to pull out of the drive thru line and park to wait for our food. The presentation and packaging of the food looked as though they had rushed to throw our order in the bag. We love Wendy's but we will not be returning to this location.

Be careful with your DEBIT/CREDIT CARD. The cashier Amber with the lavender hair, at 1am, she tried to keep my card. No, It wasn't a mistake. The drive thru was empty, Not busy. She looked at me about to drive off. I asked for my card, she had it in her hand then gave it to me. I called, spoke to the manager, his name is Angel, he didn't believe me. I know what I saw. Nor was the over priced $7 chicken sandwich worth this problem.
Do not come to this Wendy's. The girl behind the register will always mess up your order to the point where you tell her something multiple times and still don't get it in your order. The guy/kid isn't much better looks like he's high or half asleep, used his dirty hands to look inside and touch the food in bag, told my dad his hands were clean when we just saw him wiping his hands on a napkin, even called my dad a liar, and was extremely rude. Even challenged my dad into fighting over the issue when all my dad trying to do is get the correct order he paid for. Always an issue here. One time the kid before me who ordered outright cussed at the girl because she was so rude telling him he was "wrong" when it turned out that she made a mistake....
The server very rude made mistakes when ringing me up. Took it personal when corrected. I didn't trust her handling my food after that. Will never walk in . She needed training . Snappy about the way her language barrier was put her on fries where she don't have to interact with customers definitely will lose business. Ridiculous.
One of the most slowest drive-thru service.. I literally waited for about 40 minutes??? And it took my another 20 or 25 minutes to receive my meal, 🤬🤬🤬 the only reason I stayed because I have a pregnant daughter, other than that trust me I would not even waited here... Worst Wendy's ever ??? I highly don't recommend no one to come to this one drive thru service is so wack and disorganized... And the Wendy's I'm talking about it's in Gardena or Artesia and Western 👎👎👎

The two times I've been to this location the drive thru has been painfully slow. Today we went and had placed a mobile order. Drive thru took 10+ minutes to get the window. Once there, another 5 and we were asked to pull forward. Another 5 minutes and my husband went inside to ask for the food. We get home and half the order is wrong. We called and the number on the receipt doesn't work. 20+ minute wait at the drive thru, food was barely warm, and the order was wrong. This location is awful.

Ordered a Honey Butter Chicken biscuit meal with a large vanilla iced coffee. As soon I went to pay, I got a coffee which was too my surprise white, which was confirmed when the drink was pure creamer and no coffee. After I received my meal, i left to make it to class on time & saw they had given me a completely different meal. To my surprise as I was the only person ordering in the drive-thu. All in turn wasted my time, money, and overall breakfast.
Don’t bother going here. You will stand there at the counter with every single worker completely ignoring you. They quality of food at this location leaves a lot to be desired as well. Do yourself a favor and just go up the street to one of the restaurants that actually have customer service.
I got a bad experience with this branch, I patiently waited quite a long time for my order, and when I got it, it was incomplete, so, I talked to the staff in the counter to ask about it, I was expecting that she would at least apologize for the inconvenience, and try to correct things. unfortunately, what I got was a shoulder shake, a blank facial expression, as well as a hand gesture that seems to express, oh well…! And she didn’t even tried to correct things. I understand that they were a little busy that time, but, I guez, Customers all deserved a good service despite of it. Staff probably need some training to improve their customer service.
Went there on Tuesday afternoon, ordered a large Coke Zero with extra ice and a medium coke. Gave the cashier $20.00 and got a $10.00 back. I was stunned at the cost and of course was not offered a receipt or straws. I got back to my office and called the manager to make sure I was charged correctly and was told oh yes, it was $9.something, "thanks for letting me know if case her till if off" I will NEVER go there again
I was told by the manager that the card reader didn't work. Not for credit or EBT . Went back and spoke to someone else. She's known for telling people it doesn't work when it does. In addition especially if youre physically limited or disabled , they don't want you to extend the device to your vehicle to privately type in your pin. They either ask you for it or force you to lean to the window (which is painful) instead of allowing you to properly and comfortably use the CORDLESS device. Quality of food is decent but the preparation lacks heart. And like many fast food places , the menu clearly says combos followed by numbers. If I ask for a combo #7 please don't ask me if I want the sandwich or the meal when I obviously ordered the combo.
A bunch of kids working here....poor service and just hear them playing around and swearing ....also so cheap they give one napkin per customer....
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY BRENDA!! I went through the drive through and she was very impatient and became very aggressive when I asked for BBQ and closed the window right after. Wendy’s should really work on customer service!!!! Is Brenda a representation of this company??? Because I will never eat here again if she is!!
Chile, burgers, salads, and frostys! I am posting this review as to express my disappointment due to my recent visit to this location(Gardena, Ca) around 2:00A on 10/19/2025. My wife and kids, as well as myself have been loyal and supportive Wendy's customers, not mentioning spending an average of $30-$40 per visit, on Wendy's food for the past 20+ years! Wendy's food is great, however the service that we just received at your Gardena, Ca. location was horrible/unacceptable! Pulled into the drive-way to this location with my son late at night because my son was hungry and Wendy's is one of his preferred restaurants! After observing the neon open sign on the window still lit "open", we proceeded to enter the lot and headed towards the drive-through menu, stood there for a minute or so to see/listen if we were going to be greated over the menu speaker like we normally receive at other drive-thru restaurant establishments. After not receiving any greeting, decided the staff may be busy inside, and may not have not noticed that we were there, so I decided to say "hello"(multiple times) into the drive-thru speaker system, and waited for a reply/response. Since we did not receive any response for a while, we decided to drive up to the drive-thru window, and saw a drive-thru staff employee looking down basically acting as if he was ignoring us(not making any eye contact with us!), and just rudely waiving his index finger rapidly left and right directed towards us most likely indicating that they were closed(mind you, I did stated in the beginning that the open sign at the window entering this Wendy's location drive-way was still lit "open"!) I had wanted him to give me at least eye contact manners so that I can let him know that if they are indeed closed, to turn off their electric neon open sign as well as their brightly lit drive-thru menu, so that Wendy's patrons/customers would know that they're closed, and not waste your customers' time trying to figure that out while waiting for a response at the drive-thru menu! If they could hear us at the drive-thru speaker system, maybe they could have given us a little consideration of announcing through the speaker system that they're closed, so that we are made aware that they "are" closed for the night! Instead, one of the other staff employee passed by the drive-thru window and gave us his "middle" finger(you can review your surveillance cameras to pin-point and see which employee that was!) Most horrible service my son and I have ever experienced/received at a Wendy's restaurant! I'm not sure who is the manager at the Gardena, Ca. location at that time of night, but if this sort of treatment to your Wendy's customer is not addressed and corrected, I will discontinue my 20+ years of business, loyalty, and support, as well as referrals of other family and friends to "all" Wendy's locations. As an assistant service manager for a luxury line/brand automotive dealership, we expect and exercise high levels of concier and great customer service standards to our customers, and such horrible/unacceptable service like the one that we have just experienced at your Gardena, Ca location would not have been tolerated and any individual caught exercising this type of rude/unprofessional behavior would have been terminated! Along with this google review, I will also be following up by filing a formal complaint with Wendy's corporate office! Extremely bad experience overall!
TERRIBLE!!! TERRIBLE!!!!! OLD FOOD COLD POTATOES AFTER REQUESTING HOT AND FRESH UPON ODERING. THEN I HAD TO WAIT FOR FRESH FOOD I WAS THEN GIVEN HALF OF THE AMOUNT OF FRIES OF THE COLD ONES IN EXCHANGE FOR HOT AND FRESH
Got my order after 12am wrong. I drove home about 10 mins away just to drive back and was told in order to fix my order I had to pay more since I was not charged originally. They didn’t even consider my 30 min back n fourth. Train your staff to always consider damage control In N out would have never!!!!!!
