Perfect ambiance with a faux fireplace in the center and nice lounge chairs for comfort. All outlets have USB charging ports and the TV's are of decent size. As for the food, it's pretty good, especially if you have a proclivity for square shaped burgers.
Best place to go if you're low on cash. Was having a bad day after paying over $800 for a college textbook... I literally had $4 and some change. I was able to enjoy thier AWESOME Baconator fries and a 6 piece nugget! It sounds small but it def. hit the spot and turned my frown upside down. :p
I occasionally head over to the Wendy's on Ed Carey to picked up lunch for my 5 kiddos and their always so quick and polite the wait isn't that long and the food is always awesome my kids love Wendy's keep up the amazing work.

Went to eat at Wendy's today, in Harlingen Tx for lunch. I ordered the Asiago Grilled Chicken sandwich combo, it was delicious. Great service with a smile! I'll definitely will be back next time I'm in Harlingen, Tx

I freaking love this Wendy's! Evey time I come, they are so happy and kind. I have never had a negative experience at this location. They are fast, friendly, and communicate well with each other and with costumers. 13/10 for sureeee.
It has become my kids' new go-to fastfood whenever I pick them out of school. We usually utilize the drive thru. The app has been acting up recently and I think all my accumulated points have been erased, so I couldn't earn rewards on my purchases. Other than the app, I have no other complaints.
Love going to Wendy's. Their biggie bag is my favorite item on their menu because it has fries, a burger ( I get the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger), 4 nuggets and a drink....for $5.41($5 +.41 taxes).
Both the bacon & egg and sausage & egg croissants are the best fast-food breakfast I've ever had!! The croissants are soft and delicious!! The bacon is thick and crispy and the sausage is square so it fits the croissant. And the cheese is the icing on the cake!!!
Now I have to give it to you guys I've managed McDonald's for 7 year's and know how it's done to keep a clean store. Ive seen your place and tip my hat to you guys, for having one of the cleanest kitchens ive seen in my time. I would recommend this place for it be one of the cleanest fast-food joints ive laid my eyes on. Good job guys!
Great Food Great Service
It's a Wendy's, what more can be said? Quick place to grab a bite, menu is reasonably priced, 2 for 3 breakfast is my go to for a sausage biscuit and a medium coffee before heading to work. 5 dollar bag for lunch for a quick bite during workday lunches when im busy and can't stop to eat. Service is typical for a fast food chain.

We absolutely love the spicy chicken ghost pepper at this location. Sorry, Brownsville location by Paredes Ln needs to get tip or recipe to cook it the same way... fresh and juicy
This is the CLEANEST rapid food restaurant in Harlingen by faaaaaaaar!!! And also they have a very nice people working over there. I really enjoy to go this location. Way to go guys!!!!$
I always like coming to this Wendy’s. There is an older lady with tattoos I believe at the drive thru window & she is always nice, great attitude. They are also really fast with making my order.
Not bad place for fast food, it’s a little different and I always enjoy the chilly. Also the frostys are great!! And probably the best spicy chicken sandwich of any fast food place!
Food is always fresh, fries are hot.. and burgers are great.. I recommend the baconnater ... Omg
A nice newer location, I think this place stands out as one of the better Wendy's I have eaten at - the Baconator was actually hot and juicy unlike some of the other Wendy where the burgers were warm and dry. Their hot french fries sealed the deal for me awarding them 4 stars.
On all my visits the soda water is perfectly balanced ,fries 🍟 fresh .. Lost my tmobile Tuesday reward when crossover when downloaded app. If not would be a 5 🌟 experience

Drive thru person would keep talking over me when I was trying to order. After getting my food, I stayed at the window to ask for dipping sauce and the drive thru person and manager ignored me. I didn't drive away until I was attended to.
I am still a big fan because of the times and laughs my daughter and I have had in Wendy's locations. I wasn't real happy though they only had chocolate frosty. I sometimes enjoy a plain vanilla one if you ask me and I was really craving one last night.
I had not eaten their burgers in a while, i usually get their chilie. 2 days ago I decided to get a burger combo and it was really good. The meat here usually does not have flavore but this time it was just right.
This place always has a clean dining room. The customer traffic is fair, allowing you the chance to hold a pleasant conversation with family/friends. The food is hot and delicious.
My son loves this Wendy's. I am giving 4-stars b/c I have a really difficult time getting Daves Cherry Cream Soda despite the fact that it is advertised all over the menu. They always give me the wrong drink then either tell me they don't sell the cream soda or become utterly confused. They are very friendly though and eventually get it correct, usually after the Manager comes over and asks what I am requesting. The food always looks fresh and my little guy is always happy with it.
Actually good food with good prices if you use their coupons. Not too many people at 3pm so not noisy. No body in line at cash registers. Food ready in about 2 minutes!
Funny for the first time ( Drive-Thru) from many fast food restaurants this imparticular experience was nice Shout out to the gentleman who took my order at this location on the drive-thru Adrian thank you so much for your hospitality what makes him different and stand out is that he does not rush, he listens and asks if you like etc. He suggests different deals plus great attitude with a good sence of humor. Not knowing who he is or what he looks like till I pull up and pay. I was very happy customer never been to this Wendy's but the staff that was working today did my meal nice and hot and fresh thank you. Went abt 1:30pm. Lunch hour times. Overall very nice customer service, as it should be and get my meal in a timely manner hot and fresh. Will come visit when I'm in the neighborhood to this location thank you Adrian and Wendy's staff! Great Job!
A Sunday visit after church went OK. The restaurant was clean inside and the service was pretty good considering that they were short handed I think. 4 employees plus the manager, seemed like they could have used one more person especially because they had a food delivery truck come at about 1pm so they lost one to help unload the truck. We ordered 3 kids meals along with 2 orders of the “Big bag $5 meal” which wasn’t very big at all but was worth the $5. My picture is of the burger that comes with the $5 big bag meal.
I like there food but they use a chemical to clean tables that locked my lung down. Allergy reaction! I had a hard time making it home an popped a allergy pill finally relief!
This location is better than the other one on Dixieland Road. It is generally cleaner and has more efficient service. I usually only get the salad and potato. The meatless options are limited when one is interested in something other than a burger.
I ordered a baked potato & large chili with cheese...... The baked potato was old, but the chili was awesome. It snowed that day, so the chili hit the spot. I just don't like throwing away money since I didn't eat the potato.
Forget about ordering anything different from the standard on your sandwich. It will come out standard anyway. If you are allergic to Mayo, you are screwed! It WILL BE on your sandwich.
Service was fast and friendly Burgers we had ordered were great the frys on the other hand look like they've been refried two or three times not golden Brown they were just Brown should have spoke up but too tired from being at work

Every time I go there and they got the special on when you check out they haven't. Taken off the discount kind of dishonest if you got a discount you apply it at the time of order the manager is playing a game to cover his cost but it's very insulting to me as a customer it's the only hamburger joint in Harlingen that doesn't give you a receipt that's the reason why if a double stack is a dollar then charge a dollar not $2 and make the customer beg for the discount it's happened to me every time I've ordered a double stack at the reduced cost...
I went last night to get a large chili and I asked for additional crackers. I was told that they could give me two instead of four. I said this was a large container but they refused so I cancelled my order. Bad business decision on their part.
Food was good . I had a Dave's double, my wife had chicken tenders, there's always a but lol. Do not order fountain drinks form there.
1st of all, i got the number 7 and i got the hardest TWO strips of bacon, ONE TINY PIECE OF LETTUCE, THREE PICKLES, and two small rings of onion on my burger, and then to top it off i got a Brownie batter chocolate frosty swirl and they gave me one of them oreo fusion thingies, i better not have been charged for it cuz that's just absolutely unfair
The food is always good, but they take forever sometimes! This is probably the slowest Wendy's in the area. Usually pretty clean but the workers can be rude sometimes. 3 stars mang!
I was very upset with this store, I was placing my order and the items I wanted they did not have. Like my chocolate Frosty, and I also asked about their chili if it came with onions and the cashier couldn't even answer so I asked her if she could ask the cook, instead she called I guess the manager in which to me didn't look like a manager. I asked her if the chilli comes with onions or not and she too couldn't answer quickly... So another customer asked her why she didn't have chocolate Frosty available, she replied , we ran out. But if you know you sell daily and lots of it double your order I say .. so all in all I definitely not going back to this location 😔
DISAPPOINTED, somewhat! 3.5 Stars! Stopped by for early lunch & ordered the BIGGIE BAG $5 & discovered it was too small of a portion, so I ordered a second DOUBLE STACK which was tiny too. They don't have tea available at the drinks counter so I tried CokeZero just to find it ran empty! I dumped the 1/4 cup then chose Diet Root Beer. It was great! The serving platter excluded napkins; I hoped that as a courtesy they'd include two, at least. The lights came on, finally...they were on low power mode, I guess. I loved the Bacon DS! The crunchy onions filled my taste buds with delicious flavor, the patties were thin but well done & tasty. The fries were lukewarm but their natural cut & well-seasoned sticks tasted surprisingly good. Satisfied overall, but I wished the burgers were a good size for the money. I paid $7.67 for two small burgers, 4 nuggs, small fries & drink, but I believe I can get a better deal elsewhere. The experience reminded me why I don't Wendy's often.
Worst experience At a Wendy's. No ice. Most of the drinks were out of the machine. Took a long time to order and everyone seemed to not know what they were supposed to be doing. Bad leadership.
I haven’t been to Wendy’s in a while it’s in the other side of town where I live my son wanted Wendys I was like ok let’s go. I drive clear across town get to drive thru ask for receipt was told it would be in the bag then the drinks has NO ice I asked it the drinks didn’t come with ice they said they didn’t have any. Was told like they just want me to get out of the way!!! Nothing worse then having a flat warm drink😠 will not go back...ruined my dinner yes I got home and added ice to drink but it was still flat
Food is delicious, however at this location there's always something missing: drinks, dressings, ketchup, etc. The last time we ate there the french fries were dry and old. I'll better look for another Wendy's to go to.
We ordered chili it was cold they forgot to put cheese and forgot to put a spoon. We love the chili from Wendy's this location put big chunks of a hamburger patty and it didn't have flavor.
Went for breakfast and asked for a #7 and used my app offer. The girls working charged me the #7 lunch combo (at 9am). This caused her to cancel and re enter and made me lose my app offer.
Don’t believe the adds where they make the French toast sticks look irresistible…. They are dull and tasteless , the syrup is generic too. My wife and I had breakfast here for the first time and honestly nothing tasted good , the coffee was bad and it was pricy . We will just stick to good ol’ Mickey D’s ,,,, try harder Wendy’s .
Keep coming here bcuz its close to where I live n they always forget either nuggets or burger. After I ask if there is plenty sauce as requested they say its there. Then to find out there is not enough condiments for 25$ worth of food. Today was not worth the drive since they forgot to give me 1 order of nuggets. Waste of gas going there, then kept calling only to find out their line isn't working. Not happy with the result there. Traveling out n driving isn't worth spending my money if this keeps happening...
I did drive-thru for just a frosty. The service was very slow. I nearly drove away twice on my visit, once before I ordered and once afterward. There were only two cars ahead of me. It took so long, I feared my frosty would be completely melted by the time I got it. Thankfully, it hadn't waited outside the machine as long as I waited in the drive-thru line for it. The next time I'm in the area, I'll probably try the Sonic down the road for a Shake.
Ordered Dave's combo, they gave me 2 patties never asked if I wanted a double, single etc... fries were cold, drive up took lon than expected.
I went today and i know it was at 12:30am but they were going to be open for 30 more minutes so i ordered anyways. My daughters grilled chicken sandwich was hard and dry.
Seems like the ladies today were flat out of it and very very dirty .no drinks . No cups . Then made me feel like it was my fault . Very ghetto.. the manager was very rude and unorganized. Drive thru attendent had no customer service ..
I ordered a #6 chicken sandwich and add bacon, I went home NO bacon. I go back got a new burger with bacon but they gave me a SPICY burger. BRUH NO WONDER YOU GOING OUT OF BUSINESS 👍🏼
The burger was made incorrectly even after specifying. Rude customer service and the nuggets were very dry. Over all needs new management and new crew
The cashier was having favoritism for the day with my guy friend the plumber, I kept asking for ice with my drink and kept saying didn't have any but the men were getting ice in there drinks so what do say on that? It's been going for a week or so with out no ice for your drink.
Horrible service yurrianna did not know anything about menu.. Got order wrong. Store dirty. Fries cold.. Terrible management. Will call the corporate office.
Rude employee. Chicken sandwich was bad. Soggy bun but dry meat. Cold fries..and the drink didn't even taste like what it was supposed to be.
Went there in the evening after dark. One major complaint. The lighting in the parking lot. They have these new energy efficient lights that come off and on with motion sensors. Makes the whole place seem so uncomfortable and unsafe. Driving up to it, the place looked like it was closed except that there were people inside. The "Wendy's " sign was off. The outer building lights were off. The parking lot lights were off. Made the whole place feel very uninviting and unsafe. Felt like you could easily trip and fall in the parking lot; if you didn't get robbed first. And, no, the motion sensor lights dont always come on while you are in the parking lot and turned back off before we even got inside. Next time we feel like Wendy's, we are going across town to the other location. Hated it.
Ordered two jr bacon cheese burgers drive thru they forgot the bacon i had to get out with a twisted swollen ankle wait for 5 mins to get my food manager then complained I asked for fries for the trouble, said i was only getting one small fry lol never again going to Wendy's I only went because it was dead I wanted to get in and leave cheapness ruined my friday, go to Whataburger
I ordered on doordash from here and they got my order wrong , i go into the store to get it replaced and one all of the employees ESPECIALLY Angelica or wtv her name was , was rude! , they don't know how to have customer service and they again messed up my order. wendys need to get there employees straight
If you want a missing sandwich from your 4 for 4 meal, paying for cheese on the chili and not getting any cheese on the chili, having to wait longer because they seemingly forgot the rest of the order and to top it off getting no receipt so to have no proof of purchase. This is place for you. Got screwed by paying for nothing, basically. When I went, it was around 8:15pm on Sept 7. Sadly enough, I kind of don't want to go back now. Thanks incompetent Wendy's employees.
Went Wednesday night and the manager was in the back talking. Fries were cold. New people in front that could not take order. Night crew not good. The meat on burger was old. Bad experience. ..not wendys quality. Bad management. ..
The drive thru woman was not very nice she was rude and sounded irritated like we were bothering her at work. They were also out of bacon which limited our order. There was also a 6 minute wait on our order.
Stopped by to get a cheeseburger and went through the drive thru. I had stopped by earlier in the week and the service was great. I did notice that the first drive thru window had been blocked off. Today (09/06/2013) at approx 340PM CST I drove by, placed my order and pulled up to the first drive thru window. There I noticed that the window was uncovered. I was looking in and watched as 2 of the Wendy's employees were making salads and touching everything without gloves. I also watched as the employees grabbed plastic lids, plastic bottoms and boxes. Then proceeded to go back to making salads without washing their hands. Several other employees walked by and even the manager...no one said a word. I drove off and left.
Stood in line to order breakfast. The only one there and 2 workers just walked past me about 4x. I never ordered...Very unprofessional and rude. Called to complain to the manager and she says, I will have a talk with her. W.O.W. and thanks

Stopped by and asked for a salad 🥗, the worst. Salad was brown🤢. As waited for my refund, one of the staff was sitting on the counter next to the fríes 😡. My kids had just ordered fries. Worsted experience at every. This place needs new management and staff.
Placed an order online, got there, waited in line, they didn’t have it. Took my money and wasted my time. Refunded some of my money but still took all the points I used for the rest of it. Got my order wrong the last time and refused to refund my money then too. Won’t be back.
The bread was old, burger was cold, fries were hard, like dang I didn't get anything fresh. And manager has attitude, and easily gets angry when you tell him the order is wrong or food temp is off. Never again.
The drive thru service is terrible. I went there for breakfast and like always you can't get a receipt to make sure you are not being overcharged. I asked the girl at the window for the manager to complain about this issue and she told me that she was the assistant manager so I asked her for her name which she refused to give me. I left them disappointed only to get home and find out that I had received the wrong order. It's not the first time they give me the wrong order also so from now on I will not spend another dime at this store. Do your self a favor and don't stop there cause there's a good chance you'll get bad service. It's a shame that that Wendy's would allow this to happen to their businesses.
I paid cash and they shorted me a few cents. I received my order and the food was cold. Cashier had lousy customer service. She would be joking around with a coworker instead of taking my order. This is why I only leave 1 star. I've read the other reviews but today might just be one of those days where they slacked off.
Food Poisoning Negative I would give it!!!! We went to eat the chicken sandwich with the chicken nuggets, fries and chili The same day we both got food poisoning The chili made me throw up bad and with my husband he has been throwing up constantly for four days. If you want to get sick go here ☠️🤢🤮 Good luck everyone never going here again for sure learned my lesson. UPDATE THEY DONT USE GLOVES WITH THE FOOD my friend was going to work there but she saw that nobody was using gloves she quit the next day because it was disgusting😠
An hr ago my bfs little brother got a burger n almost bit a piece of metal possibly from the grill cleaning brush n pretty much Wendy's said there was no way it could've gotten into the burger n if his brother bit into it he could've gotten hurt. Wendy's denied the piece of metal n basically said we planted it. The little brother is only 10 years old seriously! If I could give you guys a darn zero I would!
Wow. This used to be a training store. Today the guy on the drive through looked like he wanted to be anywhere else. They messed up my simple order 3 times, and charged me for a combo when I said burger only. Pity that SouthWen has given up on quality and service
It is scary to know this is the training store, considering how bad it is. Ther is never a time I have received my order correctly or quickly. It is almost like they deliberately mess up the drive through orders to save money.
My experience has shown me why I will be eating at home. The cashier made another customer's order with her hands after taking cash by putting cheese in their chili w/o washing her hands after touching other items. The sandwich maker's shirt and hat were dirty and he scratched his head and arm pits before taking the buns to put them in the toaster to start making my sandwich. When I informed the manager of all that I saw and why I wanted a refund/ to cancel my mobile order she did not understand why I had a concern...Now I have to wait for Wendy's 888 Customer Service line to answer, which was closed today, to get my refund for an order that I did not take nor get a refund for in the store because they can not give you one if you make a mobile order. So, I will not be doing that again and questioning why Wendy's is always empty.
Made mobile order 30 minutes prior to arriving at restaurant. Order was not ready and several cars that came after us recieved their orders and left. They said they could not find our order with order number. Waited another 20 minutes for food.
I've only been here twice but I got the message. I don't recommend anyone wasting their time here for breakfast. You don't exist to them.
I always get down so maybe it's just the dine in and take out experience but the people up front during later hours like 8:30pm, are so rude they serve u like they want u to hurry up and leave and I saw them walking around the kitchen with my bacon amor fries with no gloves or cover an older lady called the girl with my food back to her so idk what was wrong but I'm not eating them. And whenever I get their food my stomach gets upset after but I sometimes give it the benefit because I LOVEEEE BROWNSVILLE WENDYS But it's sad I can't get it here so close to my work.
Extremely terrible service ALL my food was cold. Ordered online went thru drive thru and my order still wasn’t ready mind you nobody was in front of me. Had me wait and wait preparing other people drinks when mine should have been ready A LONG TIME AGO.
Just stopped by today and the woman working at the window was absolutely HORRIBLE! She has such horrible attitude and was fighting us for sauces, even though we were lacking them for one of our orders. If you don’t like your job, then get a new one. Don’t take your misery out on the customers.
I ordered through the app to pick up at counter. It was a free T-Mobile Tuesday offer. I had it all set up and the gave instructions on how to use the app and I missed the offer because it said I had already used it. I explained what had happened to the young lady and she replied “sir if you already used it we can’t help you”. Crazy!
