A recent glow-up spot from the quickly famous food truck. Latino Bites continued their menu and boy does it hit the spot. The location isn't the biggest and with 25% indoor seating it might come with a wait during peak hours but the cook times don't keep tables occupied too long. Attentive staff and an exposed kitchen give it an inclusive vibe that makes you feel your order is literally around the corner. On our latest visit we ordered: -Arepa Skirt Steak Burger -Regular Skirt Steak Burger -Chicken Burger -Hawaiian Hot dog -Hawaiian de la Casa personal pizza pie -Chicken Salchipapas All the ingredients were flavorful and fresh tasting. The skirt steaks, although not consulted for a cooking temperature were cooked perfectly to the point of melting upon biting. The chicken wasn't dry and all the topping were just right. The mouthful of flavor in every meal was satisfying but what took the cake was the pizza. Pineapple, mozz cheese, ham, bacon and guava stuffed crust raised the bar in Colombian street cuisine. I would go back for just this. For those who say fruit and pizza don't mix. Try again because you're wrong. (Image below)

Ordered takeout ribs that were amazingly delicious and well priced. Would definitely try eating at the the restaurant at the next opportunity and try their other meat options!! I was across the street at Pio Pio ordering some ceviche when the hankering for some ribs came on. I’ve been meaning to try Latino Bites SMTM after being a fan of their truck for a number of years, so I figured I would get a quick to-go order for some St. Louis ribs. The staff kindly informed me it would take 25 minutes, so I switched to the beef ribs instead. I was expecting English style ribs, but they were flanken cut. The only interesting surprise was that the cashier pressed me for a tip, so I felt compelled to tip a few dollars. Not a big deal, but I would recommend implementing a service charge for take-out orders in lieu of an implicit mandatory optional tip. The ribs itself were deliciously scrumptious!!Extremely well seasoned that was further complemented by the charred character expected from a flame grill. I used scissors to cut between each bone and would have rib in one hand; while shoveling the rice/salad with my other hand. 💪🤤 The ribs were so delicious that I must have blacked out momentarily because the next thing I remember was staring down at an empty container with fully content stomach. I absolutely devoured these things and would look forward to enjoying them fresh in-person.

I'm a fan of their food truck - Latino Bites - that can be found on the corner of 85th and Northern. I order 2-3x a week. It was my first time to eat at the restaurant. Surprisingly, the prices are the same with the food truck. But they have more choices like savory and dessert pizzas and wings. We ordered the hamburgesas colombianas (colombian burger) - angus burger topped with sauces - rosada, garlic aioli and pineapple sauce, ham, mozzarella, pico de gallo, lettuce and crushed chips. We also got a small pizza - chicharon and curly fries. It was my friends first time to eat their burger and he keeps on saying definitely way better than shake shack. He was amazed how crunchy the curly fries was. His planning to bring his siblings next time 😊 Next time will definitely different items from the menu. Also the waitstaff are very attentive. The only con I can think about is the music is too loud its hard to have a conversation.

Stopped by after my salon appointment to grab a quick bite before meeting up with friends for project. The atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy with the wooden tables and colorful banners. I ordered chorizo tacos and they were delicious. Place was not super busy during a weekday afternoon but I saw families starting to enter as I was leaving. Would come again and sit in the patio before summer’s over!

I came out on a Saturday at 10pm to grab a quick bite and decided to hit up this spot for a second time. Like the first, the food, vibes, and service was flawless. I got sat down within a min, ordered my food and got it within 10 mins. Everything was savory and fresh and absolutely delicious! Laura was my server and she was super sweet and attentive. The food here gave me the fuel to then go check out all the dance spots that were next door and within walking distance. This is definitely a go to spot for food right before a long dance night out. Well my Google maps friends..here is one thing I have to say..Angus Burger. I was craving for some burger of some kind with some fries. And here I stumbled across Latino Bites and WOW they did not disappoint! The food just was absolutely fresh and savory. Every bite I took from the Angus Burger made my mouth water each time without exaggeration. The crinkle cut fries were good as well with their special sauce. Aside from the food, you can tell that the place most likely has a very live ambience at night especially on weekends as they play music throughout the day and they even have a DJ section at the far end of the restaurant. Definitely going to be returning and trying out other dishes.

My son and I were taking care of some business pertaining to buying a car and afterwards my son just randomly picked this spot while we were in the area and I’m gonna say this spot definitely hits. Atmosphere was really chill and laid back, prices aren’t bad for the amount that you do get, I will admit that. He had the Latino fried rice and he loved it, I had the sausage burrito bowl…homemade stains food at its best. Most importantly the food was insanely good. I could only get through half of it although I managed to finish 😁. Customer service was good and that helps. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in the area.

The steak quesadilla is 80% cheese and 20% steak - where's the steak? Lol. So much cheese I had take some off, it wasn't gooey melted, it was clumpy. :( Not sure if it was an off day, I did get my food delivered and the quesadilla was lukewarm. When your fridge doesn't have the ingredients to make a killer quesadilla, you can check out this place to kill a craving. Whether you're satisfied or not, that's up to you. Tried the chorizo and filet mignon quesadillas. Honestly, for the money that I spent and the apparently great ratings that this place has, I thought the food was average at best. I know a few places in Queens alone where you could get a better quesadilla for cheaper, most of them with more meat too. On the bright side, it had some diced tomatoes and sour cream on the side which was appreciated. They have a lot of other options on the menu which might be worth a try but I do think the menu prices seem to be on the high side.

Very interesting and flavorful food. Came here with a friend through their recommendation. Our meals were delicious, Unfortunately toward the end of my meal I found a hair in it which was neither mine nor my friends. I didnt feel right really saying anything as I had eaten nearly everything. But the other thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the auto gratuity on a table for two. Usually thats reserved for larger parties. I did not appreciate the fact that when I was paying they also showed the option to tip on the card reader. No thanks, you already tried to sneak a tip on my bill without me noticing. Would have liked to come back to try the other things on the menu but probably wont after this.

When this place first opened up, their chicken wings were phenomenal. This is the second time in a row that I bought chicken wings that did not measure up to what they originally used to be. This time the wings were not fully cooked and unfortunately I will no longer recommend this place for wings to any of my friends, as we usually go out for wings to several different establishments on a regular basis. We have been customers of this place for the last 5 years. We order food here very frequently, both for pickup and delivery. We usually love the food, especially the pizza burger and the chicken maicitos. However, over the last 3 months, it has been a disaster. They have changed many things in almost every item. The quality of the food is now very poor. The chips are terrible, and I don’t understand why they made all these bad changes. This is very disappointing because we really used to enjoy this place a lot. Today we ordered again, and the maicitos had more chips than chicken or corn. Also, the meat of my Angus burger was dry and burned. Today, I have to say goodbye to this place. Hopefully one day things will improve, but until that happens, I cannot recommend it at all.

My husband and I used to drive from Long Island just to eat their famous entraña burger or specialty steak burger. We went today, and it was completely different. They’ve had a few adjustments on it for sure. We tried out their wings, the pineapple BBQ it’s not worth it. And don’t bother getting their steak tacos. The steak is not good quality. Very hard to chew, basically like chewing on gum. They added two strips of steak in the taco which makes it very difficult to enjoy being that every time you took a bite the whole piece would come out because the steak was hard to chew. Overall the taco had good flavor just really terrible quality in steak. Definitely won’t be returning, service is not worth it and on top of that it’s really cold in there. It was good while it lasted.
