Wok N Roll is praised for its large portions and affordable lunch specials. Sesame chicken and house fried rice are popular. Some customers found the food quality lacking, citing blandness and poor flavor.
Tip: Try the lunch specials for affordable options. Sesame chicken and fried rice are recommended.
The food was some of the best! Portions are huge and both the house fried rice and Lomein where delicious the sesame and the orange was also amazing and the sweet and sour is finally what I remember it tasting like fyi I’m not one to normally have left overs and this was after 2 ppl ate!
Everything was delicious, delivery guy was awesome....it got here in about 20 minutes...Definitely worth writing a review about...just found my new go-to chinese food place....If you dont order from these guys, you are F**kin up bruh....Thank you guys. UPDATE 2019: I am still ordering from these guys. They are still great. And they still get here very fast with food that is still excellent. Thanks again guys!
Food is delicious here I'm from NJ and this is the closest you will have to good chinese food from back home in this area and I've tried a couple.
Very friendly staff & awesome food! I don't understand why anyone would give them any less than 5 stars. :)
Im from Philadelphia and I REALLY think their food is awesome and cooked correctly and better than other places I've had here
I'm a regular at this place and they always deliver on a timely manner. Food is delicious too!
Hot and fresh. Ordered boneless spare ribs. Rice was great. I would eat here again
I am a regular at this place and the food is always phenomenal. Best Chinese take out around
I order from here all the time. The food is great and so is the staff!
Best Chinese food around. Food is fresh, great quantity...great price and Excellent customers service everytime!!
Very good Chinese/American food, very fresh and lots of flavor.
I love this place! The wonton soup is fire! Boneless ribs are on point!
Love this place. Great, fresh food, good portions, good price, speedy. Can't beat it.
One of my go to takeout spots! They have the best homemade iced tea!
The pu pu tray was really great
The best Chinese food in the area! Portions are large and the quality is great!
Great food. I only order from here whenever I’m in the mood for Chinese food.
You want New York Style quick takeout Chinese? You found it. Some of the best General Tsos I've had, and the portion sizes are huge for that. Burbon chicken is good too, as well as Double Happy, Young Chow Friend Rice, and Singapore Noodle (thought not as good as Summer Palace). So five stars for doing exactly what it says on the tin at the right price.
As a former New Yorker, the food here is very close to New York taste. The quality is excellent, the portions are big and the service is great and very friendly. I eat here all the time and enjoy the food always.
Service was really fast, we got our food 20 minutes after ordering. Everything we ordered was really good and the combination platters are huge
Delicious food ,good service ,nice people .( I'm updating my review : after eating there for 10 years still the food amazing, the service above and beyond, delivery on time, very respectful employees, I love it ♥️)
We walk here frequently for the amazing lunch and dinner specials. The young man behind the counter is always very pleasant and down to earth. Great food, every time!
Amazing time great experience overall ordering food even asked for a recommendation. Food was great size and they even added a few pieces of broccoli by request. Definitely going back
Best food we've had in a long time.. We ordered the general tso's chicken plate I asked them to add bean sprouts in my rice they kindly did it.. Every bite was delish.. On a rainy Friday night that it busiest time they severed us Amazing Food.
General tso chicken and garlic shrimp is my absolute favorite. Very delicious food and great service. Highly recommended! I don't understand some of the bad reviews......
Coming from NY, this is by far the best tasting Chinese food in the area (I tried about 7 locations). Portions are huge. The poor reviews must have been from previous owners.
Great Food and reasonable prices, Awesome food, never had a bad meal yet. Tried many different menu options never been disappointed!
Lo mein and boneless spare ribs are absolutely delicious!
Best Crab Rangoon in the world... Overall good food, but really, their Crab Rangoon is so good I stop on my way home just to pick that up!
Great food i really like the taste and the prices are nat bad at all , ive had different combinations here and all are up to my chinese food standards 🤤😂
Our favorite local Chinese take-out place. Good food, large portions, & only $5-6.50 for the lunch specials!
The restaurant could use and update. They deliver which is convenient and the food is delicious. I have had delivery for dinner and stopped in to dine during lunch hours. Great flavored food, Great prices.
Delicious fresh food at a Great price! Everything is tasty and flavorful without being greasy. Recommend their Lunch specials all week long.
We have been ordering take out for a few years now. The food is always ready. The food is always hot. We have not been disapointed with the quality of food and the freindly staff. Love this place.
Food is amazing. Spot on for everything. Delivery was also quick and very nice.
this is the only chinese place i go to, portions are huge prices are fair, food is the best everytime
Been going here for a few years, they have the best sesame chicken and affordable good food. The people are nice and consistent. Definitely one of my favorite local places to eat
One of the only places I can find that has Crispy Beef, and they do it the best! The homemade sauce that comes with it is amazing. Must try! Big portions too.
I've lived in Florida for 16 years now, and in all that time have yet to have Chinese food that even came close to what I could get back home. Wok N' Roll ended my quest for the perfect "tastes like home" Chinese food. Delicious, hot, and delivered ridiculously fast!
My boyfriend and I love Wok and Roll. It is our go to for Chinese food. We usually order delivery and have never waited more than 30-35 mins for our food. Food is always good!
I ordered dinner last night. It was the roast pork w/mix vegs and kung pao beef. As a Chinese student in U.S, I didnt expect much. The food was actually delicious!! The price was acceptable, especially for student. I got 10% off of my food with my student ID! Worth to give it a try!
The food here never disappoints! You get a lot of food for a really good price and it’s delicious! The staff is very kind as well :)
This is our second time coming here. Today we ordered the orange chicken with pork fried rice and egg rolls. Everything was great and the portions are good. The lady who I think is the owner is a really nice person. I would recommend this place 100% and I will keep coming back.
Been here many, many times. The portions are large, food is good!! Never an issue yet! When we get the cravings for Chinese this is the place!! It’s take out so didn’t rate on atmosphere. No one in the area compares to this place!
Very good food my son he loves the noodles
We ordered take out for the first time yesterday and it was DELICIOUS!! We will definitely be going back! We got the beef and broccoli and the shrimp and broccoli. Both were yummy. Big portions, combo meal came with egg roll and soup. SO GOOD! The young lady helping us was so nice too. 😊👍
Damn when my friend told me they were best I didn’t believe him. Now im saying they are the best. They gave me discount and food already big and cheap. What a great restaurant 10/10
I went to the sprouts farmers market today, and I made A NEW DISCOVERY.There is Chinese restaurant in the same plaza. I tried a general tao chicken and pork lomein. They were both very delicious. The cashier was also very friendly. Thank you for providing me with delicious dishes. I believe we will meet again soon.
Holy moly the best chinese food i have ever had. Portions are big , food is tasty and you know what , it is cheap. You can’t have that kind of food like that anywhere else. Great hospitality tho!
The chef made me a special dish to meet my dietary needs without me asking. I really appreciate them taking that opportunity to show they cared. The food was great too!
We are new to this area and they had left a flyer at our door. The food was delicious! I had the best garlic chicken I have ever had with lots of vegetables. We also ordered a side of broccoli which was very good and flavored nicely. We had 2 orders or chicken lo-mein which I heard was delicious. Fast service too. We will order from them again.
So far I’ve tried the hot and sour soup, egg rolls, beef lo mein, and orange chicken. All of it has been delicious, good size portions, and reasonable pricing. I placed an order through GrubHub, which was delivered directly by the restaurant staff (not GrubHub employees). The delivery was prompt and accurate.
Buena comida china
One of my favorite places to go for cheap Chinese food. The owner is always super nice when I order. I recommend grabbing the combo plates. They are always filled to the brim with fried rice and the combo comes with soup (choice of wonton and another soup) and egg rolls. It is not the best Chinese food but it always satisfies the cravings when I want quantity over quality. I would be wary of purchasing here on a slow night. I received spoiled soup once. I never had that experience prior and haven't since but I order during dinner time or when they are busy. The wait times are never too long. The longest I have waited for food was approximately 20 minutes. If you decide to do delivery, it is a great option too. I believe it is free delivery after a certain amount is purchased. There is dine in but there are only 2 tables available and I would recommend just taking it home.
So I really like spicy Chinese food but every time I order something spicy it isn't very spicy but other than that I really like this place I drive past a few other Chinese places to go to this one
Fried rice had that classic NY Chinese flavor going on, and the hostess was nice as hell
Lots of food for a good price! Meat on a stick, fried shrimp and wonton soup are some of my favorites!
Food is served plentiful, Hot & Delicious 😋 sorry we ate all our food B4 thinking of taking a #foodselfie 🤷🏾♀️
Sweet & sour chicken and general tso's chicken are great here. I also recommend the wonton soup. Wait time is usually only about 10 minutes. The fried rice sometimes doesn't have any vegetables, but the last couple times, they were there, not sure what the deal was.
The food that this restaurant serves is delicious. The one drawback that this restaurant has in my opinion is the styrofoam containers used to pack food. The food is so hot, it melts the styrofoam when in contact, and the smell of the styrofoam gets into the food.
Always very veggie friendly if you mention it up front. They'll make sure u have no animal products in your meal. Now if only they offered faux meats !
Gina is very polite and the service is very quick and NY style. Thank you.
Ordered the lunch special but altered it from pork fried rice to shrimp fried rice for $2.50 more. Was good not too much shrimp but satisfied yet missing that chinese food touch. Also the sweet and sour chicken has to go. Did not like at all. 1st time eating it and last time ordering it. I thought it would come with vegetables. Like the chicken brocoli And its just fried nuckets 😕 and an orange sauce on the side for you to dunck it. But yeah food hot good for $8.50 enough to.share
I’ve always had decent food and great service from this location. Chinese food in general is lacking ( in Orlando ) in quality and price, but this location is consistent. I think they recently changed owners, but the new ones are really nice people too ( the old ones were as well )
The lunch specials are very affordable. The sesame chicken and fried rice was really good! The beef and broccoli was also very good. The bourbon chicken had good flavor but,the other 2 dishes were definitely my favorites and yummy. I would order here again.
Ordered a special combination meal that comes with fried rice, egg roll, soup, and the meal. Food is good but they have their young children taking orders with little supervision. When the meal came out there was no soup. The adult did not confirm if I did put did not want the soup. Need to improve your customer service.
Fast service price was average to others.food was hot .I love dumpling and this is my opinion theirs is too salty and they wrap it in a thin wrapper. The egg rolls are thick and very flavourful. The General Tso was soft and delicious.
Volvería a pedir aquí.
I had the beef with broccoli and was disappointed as it seemed a bit bland. I even ordered extra sauce. Hot oil didn’t help much either. Certainly had better elsewhere.
Got this food last night and it’s usually good place but I don’t know if they got a new cook back there cuz the food wasn’t good.I ordered the chicken sesame and it wasn’t good at all.It was plenty and I’m a big eater but didn’t even want to eat half of it,chicken had little bones and tough the meat was amd the pork fried rice was very bland and plain..Just Not good lately ,also the last few times they forgot my order, and had to wait for delivery to drop my food off after taking it out .
Disappointing. Wok n Roll didn't take our order correctly and also skimped on portions. We ordered chicken and veggies and fried rice but we received no chicken, veggies and plain rice.
I love this place, However Last night I ordered my usual and I was not happy. Boneless rib was hard, Pork fried rice did not look fresh, The food looked like left over from previous day, I did enjoy the Egg Drop soup.
The food was fair in taste, and plenty of it. But I really disliked that fact that when I asked for a small cup of water, they were too cheap to give me one. They would only sell me a drink...and this was AFTER I gave them a $1 tip, for a take-out order! I won't go back.
Delivery was very fast...almost too fast. My roommate ordered us fried rice, chicken broccoli, and lo mein. I regret to say after seeing decent reviews, we had to toss the food out after a few bites. It didn't look right and tasted quite old. The food was not flavorful at all.
Definitely not the place it used to be. Food is not the same and even the driver was rude while he was doing the delivery. Kobes actually delivers now and for the same price, you'll get double the food. I know is Chinese vs Japanese bu, is just a comparison. Do not recommend this place.
I would give you a review about the food if I was only able to try it. They delivered a menu to my house, so therefore I thought they would deliver to me. I called and spoke to a very rude white girl to place my order. She took my order and my credit card and told me it would be 45 mins. Then 20 mins later the same rude girl called to inform me they weren't going to deliver after all. Now I wouldn't go or eat there if it was free. What ever happen to customer service or even common consideration?
I ordered delivery from Wok N’ Roll and while I have to give credit where it’s due—the food tasted great—the experience was unfortunately marred by the delivery. The moment I opened the bag, I was hit with a nauseating stench of cigarette smoke. It was as if the delivery driver had chain-smoked a pack on the way to my house and then stuffed my meal in the smoky bag. The smell was stomach-turning and completely overshadowed the deliciousness of the food. I really wanted to enjoy my meal, but that overpowering odor made it hard to appreciate. I hope they can find a way to ensure better delivery conditions in the future because the food itself deserves better than this!
i have no problem with the food, in fact i actually really enjoy the food here, but i have a problem with seeing a literal 10 year old behind the register taking calls and checking people out. that poor kid should be enjoying their childhood, not working for no pay as a literal CHILD. this has to be illegal and against child labor laws and i am genuinely surprised nobody else has said anything about this considering this isn't the first time i've seen an actual child behind the counter and i've been coming here for years.
My wife ordered and paid online. When I arrived at the restaurant, they have no record of the order after I provided the phone number that's on the order. The purpose of ordering online is to have the food ready for pickup. After searching thoroughly on their computer, they located the order, and obviously have not cooked any of the food. I had to wait another 15 minutes in my car since there no chairs in the restaurant due to covid. After 20 minutes of waiting, the cashier brought the food out to the table without saying a word. I had to ask if the food was mine, and he said yes. Not even an apology for losing my order and the delay on delivering the food. This is the second time this place lost my order. I will never go back.
Realmente no me apetece comer nada
Honestly Am So tired Of This Place I Just Order Food I Got Paper Stake And They Forgot In One Of The Plate The Steak ??? Really All O onions And Paper No Steak wife Plate With Alot Steak Mines None Like WHAT??? AM DONE
The night manager is not competent. She lied to me about my delivery order. I never got my food, and then she kept calling me to make excuses. Very poor customer service.
Terrible only got the krab Rangoon right lemon chicken and burbon chicken that wasn’t what it was supposed to be
Omg the absolute WORST. Ordered a heaping amount of food totaling $100 to throwmit all away because it was rotten meat and old stale rice the only thing my child are were the prepackaged fortune cookies. I have lived in Waterford Blake's for 15+ years and I will never NEVER waste money on this place again. I was mortified, and sadly enough they were not so courteous to allowe to return it.
1HR AND 19 MIN $16 dollars order. RAW chicken eggroll i list 30 min old.delivery guy.dont want to wait. Me to sing the recibe.super hurry dont recommend it plus the delivery guy dont look trust a all good luck in your bussines
I was very disappointed with my order. I have been using Wok and Roll for years, but I am noticing changes that I am not happy with. I order the Shrimp Lo Mein and I had 5 shrimps in the order, this has never been.
Stop hanging menus on all Victoria Pines Residences doors. There are literally 5 Chinese food places that are closer. All findable with a simple google search. And based on your other reviews, maybe you want to work on your quality more before suggesting that people go out of their way. ps stop wasting paper
Got general tso's chicken and it was nasty, the breading was falling apart and chicken was dry. Looks and tastes just like over night general tso's chicken that's been reheated in microwave.
I hate to give them 1 STAR rating, but I witnessed the cashier put his bare hands into my complimentary white rice. It is too bad, their food is amazing along with their service. 😕😕😕
This place is disgusting! They sent me home with food that contained bugs in it. This place must be disgustingly filthy and the employees are idiots to serve food with bugs in it. I have filed a complaint with DPBR. I hope they shut you down forever! I don't give this place 1 star, but I have no choice if I wish to leave a review.
Ok changing my rating from 3 to 1 stars cause every thing i ate just came back up....... Will never order agian Ordered beef and broccoli combination it was nasty the meat had the texture of fat slimy mushy and had no taste the fried rice that came with it was dry and flavorless this whole combo was thrown away after one bite.
got food poisoning right after getting take out from here. found out today from my friend at the health department that this place has been shut down for rodents before. 🤢 Never ordering from here again
Waited forever for delivery. food was cold, General Tso's chicken was not right at all. Very rude, did not want to replace, refund, or credit at all. Never again!
Things shouldnt be this way. The service is sooo bad one almost has to laugh. They wouldn't give me a cup with ice for my soda because they "don't have any ice". The meal was $15.00 and one has to ask for a napkin and they give you one at a time. Their cheap plastic utentils are so small, it's frustrating. We got our appetizer as we were finishing our main meal. And remember the utentils being so small it take twice the time to eat. The food is not bad. You could find it anywhere, really, but if you're looking for a good laugh, this is the place to go. Actually, lets boycott this place until they get it right or move someplace else.
I found egg shell in my food and all the lady on the phone was asking me was how big the egg shell was. It doesn’t matter, the egg shell should not have been in my food. Then she said sometimes the cook don’t see it. This is the first Chinese restaurant that has served me egg shells in my food. They had very poor customer service. And I will never go back again.
The place was highly recommended so I ventured further than I would for Chinese food. Suffice to say, I was not impressed. I should have gone with my cut instincts when I first entered the restaurant. There was a peculiar smell that was not particularly pleasing. The tables and chairs were very sticky. Not a good sign. So I ordered the food, waited about 10 minutes so not too bad of a wait. Now it's a different story when I tasted the food at home. The wonton soup was lukewarm and had a stale taste. I poured it down the kitchen sink immediately. The combination platter I ordered, sesame chicken and fried rice was a huge disappointment. The portion size was huge but not particularly tasty. The fried rice was hard and had a smokey flavor probably coming off a not so clean wok. The sesame chicken lacked flavor and the texture was off too. Completely turned off by this food. It all went into the trash. Never again! On a positive note, my daughter did not totally hate her order of vegetable lo mein. She did expressed it lacked flavoring that a little or a lot of soy sauce kind of fixed. This place is off my radar for good.
Food has usually been ok. But I went in tonight to place and order. Front desk makes a mistake and charges me for a small pork fried rice, I get home to realize the mistake, drive back, front desk goes to correct mistake and the "manager" wants to charge me for the difference of 2.00 for their mistake?? How sad is that. 2.00 just cost them our business moving forward. Customer service is a joke.
I've been coming to this restaurant for a while I never really had any bad complaints but today it's probably the worst day to have food cooked all wrong. First bite uncooked rice. Second the bourbon chicken had a weird chemical taste . Needless to say within three bites I threw it all away. I will never come back to this restaurant ever again
I order through their online part. It said it would be delivered by 7:45pm. Well it was 7:57 so I decided to call and ask. Apparently they did not receive the order and admitted to the online order system failing on multiple occasions. They did apologize and ask if I would like to order and they have it delivered within 30 min. I said okay but did ask for some sort of compensation for the online failure. The failure they admitted to happening multiple times. The only thing the man said he would do is put me down for some free doughnuts for my next visit!! Seriously? I told them to just please make the food and send to me within the 30 min, my kids were starving there was no energy to argue. Well to top of the experience it took 50 min to deliver that order, needless to say I will not be back nor would I reccomened this place to anyone I know. Your better of going to pine gardens Resturant in Waterford lake town center
My bad experience with this place so i order chicken wing an fried rice i get two 1/2 wing so I ask the girl what happened to the rest of the wings she said that's how they sever it there. She went to the back an i heard a commotion banging yelling she came out to apologize . she told us that she spoke to the cook an he got very upset. the rice was not fully cooked .I got so nerves i left the place i would never order from there ever again. tables were sticky dirty bathroom was nasty an dirty place needs to get shut down very nasty. Not healthy an it smell uff
I got an advertisement on my door so I thought I’d try it out. If your into having dough balls instead of sesame chicken be my guest, but if your trying to get what you ordered I would say go anywhere but there. Wonton soup had no taste, fortunes were stale, and they used absolutely no chicken in their sesame chicken...
