Husky Boy Burgers Laguna Beach Reviews
Fast, friendly service and wide variety to keep everyone craving fast food happy. I had the fish taco with fries and a drink - tasty, plentiful portions, and can't beat the price. Also has clean, outdoor, shaded seating with a nice ocean view and breeze.
I’ve been going to Husky Boy for years. Classic old-school burger joint with really tasty fries. Parking is also really easy
This is one of the hole in the wall places you go to if you’re a local. Don’t get the pastrami. I’m afraid if I tell you to get the pastrami, there won’t be any love for me when I get there. It’s amazing. Anything good here is amazing. And with it being so close to the beach, it’s easy to take it. I need it someplace where you can watch the waves.
this is a great burger stand that has been here for a long time with a variety of delicious food and outdoor seating you can get a delicious kids cheeseburger meal for just $8.99 everyday anytime. coffee is only 99 cents with any breakfast meal. you really can't go wrong with any of the food here but I do recommend adding meat to the breakfast burrito.
It had been yrs since that I had not stopped at this location. First of all let me say that I love the fact I can have a nice view while eating my burger :) For those who have been here know that parking isn't the greatest but it's well worth the struggle. Luckily when we arrived there was plenty parking. Right away we were able to order. The kids ordered just a cheeseburger; I on the other hand got a bacon avocado cheeseburger. I am not gonna lie the main reason why I came was because they have one of the best fried zucchinis in OC. Crispy and not one of them were soft or soggy. To the zucchini's I give a 10 star lol Burgers themselves have that backyard grilling style. It was the kids first time here and for my son to say it was the best burger ever is something else. Before leaving we ordered a chocolate shake as dessert and that itself was deli as it was drinking melted hershey chocolate:D please stop by this location and support our local businesses.

I only been here once for lunch, it's so close to the beach/ laguna beach. I tried the Philly cheese steak sandwich, and it was amazing. I did not expect it to be a delight that is was. The service was very humble and generous, the price was as expected for the erea. But how can you complain with the sunny day and cool breeze. Definitely will revisit as soon as possible. Hope you guys go support these small business, they are so good.
Good old school place. We had bacon cheeseburgers and a large order of onion rings. They were good but not exceptional. I liked that the burgers were slightly pink inside so not cooked to cardboard. You can customize your food any way you like. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had thousand island dressing on my burger and it was good. They don't charge gourmet prices for their sandwiches but it's definitely more costly than something like In-n-Out. Larger burgers than the chains as well. Would we return? Probably not for a while because it wasn't memorable and there are so many other places in Laguna Beach to try. Currently during the pandemic, their outside tables are unavailable so eat in the car or off property. Try this place for a cheap-for-Laguna Beach meal of decent food.
4 burgers two fries and two drinks…$75! Not for the faint of heart. But I ordered a 4 patty burger with jalapeños… I got three patties instead of the four I paid for and I got no jalapeños…. The fries were barely warm and not salted at all. How can you serve basically cold fries during LUNCH rush? Burgers aren’t clearly marked at all so it’s very hard to figure out who gets what. The smash burger was good and very very messy but it’s hard to give a better rating considering I was missing items that I pad extra for and the people who work their English is not their first language so you can’t communicate well. (And that’s after ordering via their digital iPad)
We ordered through Door Dash to the hotel. They messed up our order. One of our sandwiches was missing along with the ranch I ordered. The burger was ok. The rings and fries were cooked well, but they had no salt. None. Who doesn't salt their fries?? Very expensive though door dash, you'd hope it would be a good experience. I don't know how many food options you have in Laguna Beach, but this one's just alright. I was certainly hoping for better.
Tasted good but not for the price. My pastrami sandwich was $10 but the meet on it was more like a $6 sub. Wife's frisco burger was a better deal but not by much. The zucchini was amazing definitely a good buy. They didn't scimp on any of the sides as far as I could tell watching other orders come out. Looks like a great old school place but definitely had Laguna prices. No public restroom, no indoor seating, tight parking (free).
Second time getting a meatless breakfast burrito with avocado and “hot salsa” (not hot); the flavor of the burrito is not that great... definitely missing something or it might be the hash browns that need some help. The fried zucchini is delicious topped with fresh Parmesan cheese. Huge menu & Good service!
Everything is overpriced and they nickle and ime everything which would be fine if the food was exceptional, but the food is just ok. On my second visit I got the pastrami chilli fries and got 3 pieces of pastrami and this is almost 20$ after taxes
$60 for what?! Complete rip-off. We paid $60 and got tiny portions of ugly, low-quality junk food. The name "Husky" is a joke because the portions are miniature. Save your money and eat literally anywhere else in Laguna. Total waste of cash.
The guy in the “collect” window would not stop making my girlfriend uncomfortable. He repeatedly made comments and hit on her, while she was collecting food with my 2 kids. She made it clear it wasn’t welcomed, he didn’t stop. When she went to get another set of napkins, he kept going. I’ll come have a word at some point. Interested to know why he thought he could keep doing it.
What a Rip-Off. Charging .75 cents extra for 2 tablespoons of salsa to go with your burrito! When I asked the employee about it, he showed me the sign, which is hidden from view when your order. Because he has to slide open the window to take the order. Also my burrito was mostly tortilla! Sad, the food here has gone downhill!
