Ristorante Savio Genova Reviews
Lunch break. Menu with a variety of seafood options. Very reasonable prices. No wait. The owner's daughter is professional and super sweet. Highly recommended.
Excellent... I highly recommend it. Fresh fish, excellent service. I had the green trofie with razor clams and sea truffle. Excellent mixed fried fish, just the right portions, and fresh, dry fish... The owner was very friendly. Excellent table service. New management, but excellent.
I went to this restaurant for lunch on Sunday. The place is nice and clean. I was served by a knowledgeable, polite and kind young girl who explained the menu to me and advised me on what to eat. The service was excellent and I ate well. All very nice people. I will definitely go back for the service and how I ate.
I went there on my lunch break from work. I had a great time. The service is efficient and friendly, and the home cooking is delicious and fresh. I'll be back to try the à la carte menu. It's sure to be delicious. I recommend it to everyone.
Welcoming and helpful staff Family-run restaurant Traditional cuisine, everything always very good and healthy Clean and tidy environment Recommended We ate here both during the week for lunch with the set menu and in the evening with the à la carte menu, mostly fish-based. Highly recommended; everything is fresh, very good, with delicate and unique dishes. I've attached some photos of the à la carte dishes.

We had lunch at Savio on Saturday, October 5th. We were about to order à la carte, and the very kind lady informed us that we could take advantage of the fixed-price menu for €15. We ordered lasagna with seafood ragù (a new addition to ours - very good), cod fritters, and stocche accomodato, all truly delicious dishes made by them. A quarter of wine, water, dessert, and coffee were included. The atmosphere was family-friendly and the quality/price ratio was excellent - we'll definitely be back. Note: For those who don't like fish, pasta all'amatriciana and Ligurian-style rabbit were available (so much to try 😋). Highly recommended. Marco and Emanuela
A family-run Ligurian trattoria. The staff was very friendly. Since I didn't have much time for lunch, I chose the dishes from the daily menu: lasagna with octopus sauce and cod fritters. Satisfied my hunger!
Dinner to celebrate a friend's retirement... Good food, welcoming, and down-to-earth atmosphere Simple cuisine, good fried food, and unique mussel ravioli. Friendly staff.
Sunday lunch: two first courses, two mixed fried dishes, water, half a liter of wine, and coffee = €86. Pros: The dishes were good and the portions were adequate. Cons: We weren't given a menu with prices, the bill only showed the total, and the receipt didn't specify the cost of each dish.
I went on Sunday. Prices were too high, food was decent. The only positive thing was the service. The girl was polite, kind, and fast.
A restaurant I frequented many years ago. This time for lunch. A basic place with poor maintenance on the walls. A single glass (not even very clean) for water and wine. No change of course. I wouldn't have expected that anyway. The kitchen was separated from the dining area by a curtain (not good). Decent bathroom. The dishes were truly tasty, perfectly cooked and flavored. Virtually no selection (you eat what they offer): three dishes for each course. Very reasonable price. A negative review? No. I was satisfied.
Evening with live music with Marco zoccheddu, good music, but orecchiette with fish sauce with ragù inside, fried food with doubts about the quality, definitely to be avoided, even if the staff is kind, but the quality is not good.
I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this one is hard for me not to. It was a Saturday lunch with about 12-13 people. The food itself wasn't bad, except that the dishes weren't cooked properly. The mixed fried fish didn't contain prawns as promised by the owner, but only LOTS of cheap little fish. The price for this dish was 20 euros. If it had been a mixed fried fish dish, I wouldn't have objected to the price, but this way, I'd say it was too expensive for the type of dish and the restaurant. When paying the bill, the owner was a bit sneaky; he kept recalculating the bill, saying that unpaid dishes were missing. In the end, in desperation, after 20 minutes, we overpaid by 17 euros (which we shouldn't have). Perhaps he played a trick on us because we were a large table, but the same old trick could happen again. I'd say I personally won't see this gentleman again.
Cibo mediocre porzioni minime servizio imbarazzante. Sconsigliatissimo
Grande delusione.
If I could, I'd give it 0 stars. We arrived for lunch at around 1:30 PM for the set menu, and there was little or nothing left of the set menu, but that's not the problem; it can happen. We ordered two off-menu pasta with pesto, which arrived immediately. Later, when I think the owner approached, I commented that the pesto was bought, and he got annoyed, responding very rudely, "Goodness, for €15 more, thanks, you can eat!" 😳😳😳 So we stopped at the first course and left. The waitress, on the other hand, was very kind and polite, very sorry for what had happened. Never again. I already had a review from four years ago, and it was positive. Never again
Lunch was at noon during our work break. We waited over 20 minutes before we could order (but perhaps because there was only one waiter manning the dining room and bar... I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this point). However, from the €15 fixed menu (first course, second course, side dish, dessert or fruit, water, and coffee), we opted for just one first course, specifically a plate of polenta with gorgonzola each (there were three of us). The polenta was tasteless and topped with a completely inadequate piece of gorgonzola, a bottle of water for three of us, and three coffees. For a total cost of €36!!!!! Exorbitant price and still poor food. I do not recommend it.
We went today for the first time... cozy place, kind owners, but terrible food. I ordered trofie with seafood sauce, soft trofie with salty sauce... so I swapped with my friend who had ordered pasta with pesto. The pasta was okay, but the pesto wasn't pesto because it tasted more like parsley than basil... for the main course, I ordered roast with baked potatoes, but I got a cold roast with fries. There was no beer because they'd sold out yesterday... ugh... the coffee, however, was good... definitely never again.
