The gentleman Ernest running the show wore many hats tonight he definitely shined! Excellent disposition, for a somewhat steady late night/early morning he had 2 door dash orders prior to mine then another customer behind me for take out as well. Not too mention 2 tables in the dining room. From what I could tell, he and the cook were the only 2 staff members there. They did an excellent job. I applaud their tenacity!! Great experience all around

Best Denny's I have ever been to !!! I"ve been to a few too !! Clean as a pin everywhere except the restroom area !! Bag of cleaning material sitting by the girls entrance !! The waitress was a special person who acted like she loved her job & when you talked to her, her attitude showed the same good attitude !! ❤ Jaimie was the first person we dealt with & made us feel welcome, honestly, to her own kitchen @ 2:00 in the afternpon !! Food was beyond what you would expect, service was even better & when it came to pricing, I was pleasantly surprised by how inexpensive it was for REAL food to be served !! All in all an A+ all round !! Wish I had one like this back in Ohio to go to !! A rather lousy weather day was made a LOT better just eating there !! Way to go !!!!! I truly hope to see you again !!
Sharon is a phenomenal server and her suggestion of the baked lasagna was perfect tasted like it was made with love the cook on who was apparently also the manager definitely took pride in this meal kudos to management for hiring both of these charming individuals
We have been there 2x over the 2024 holiday week and our waitress was Judy. She is so pleasant to talk to, took great care of us and so many waitresses in restaurants all over our area should take notes and lessons from Judy. I am recovering still from digestive issues and had to modify my order and she was understanding of that. Thank you Judy for for making our breakfast experiences recently at Dennys fantastic!!! Also we have a favorite table we like and if no one is in it, they have no problem seating us there. Also like the fact that we can use our AARP Membership Discount, what a plus for Dennys to have this!! To Dennys management- Judy is a keeper. We will be back and hopefully Judy will be there. She's quality customer service in the restaurant business at its best!!!!!
I go to Denny's quite often usually for breakfast today. I had Jamie as a waitress very kind always In a good mood. Service is always excellent no matter how Busy, they are. Keep up the good work see you soon
I had an exceptional dining experience at Denny's thanks to the wonderful service provided by Val. From the moment I walked in, her friendly demeanor put me at ease. She was incredibly attentive throughout my meal, always ensuring that I had everything I needed. The food was pretty good but Val's professionalism and warm personality truly made my visit enjoyable. I'll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend dining at Denny's with Val as your waitress!

They have plenty to choose from (although I have my favorites), and I know most of the servers by name because they are just that friendly (too many to list here). No one complains that I drink coffee as I read a book for far too long, either! Great place, great people!

My husband and I went to Danny's for dinner on Thursday 1/23/25. I ordered the wild Alaska salmon with no expetation. Steven was the chef that night and he did a fantastic job👏. The salmon was cooked perfectly and my husband's red skin potatoes were fresh and not salted to death 😋 with the outside perfectly crusted. Sometime good food takes time to prepare and cook with patience. Steven showed dedication as a chef and provided excellent customer service.

I absolutely love Dennys been my childhood home to be honest. The waiters are so so kind and the cooks are excellent!!! Don’t take it away!! I used to come here with my grandma every Friday and Monday before she passed away this was her favorite restaurant!!

A bunch of us ladies decided on Denny's for lunch after church today. We were not disappointed. The restaurant (including the Ladies room) was clean and warm. Our server (Cory) was friendly, helpful and efficient. I think he was one of the best servers I have ever had at both Denny's and other restaurants. Our orders were delivered promptly and without any errors.
I was very pleased with my experience at Dennys in Lockport, NY. The atmosphere, service, kindness, and staff are exceptional. It’s nice to go to a restaurant where they all work together to make your visit there memorable. The waiter Cory was beyond wonderful! Give that guy a raise! He was attentive to our needs and was so kind. If we had an issue with our meal he took care of it ASAP! The manager Juanita also came over to check on how our meal and visit was there. She was very friendly and caring also. It’s nice to see a company where all the staff work together helping each other out as a team. They would get 10 stats from me but they got the 5 from me. I will be going back there again. Thank you Cory and Juanita for making my experience there so enjoyable!!
I came in for breakfast. Jaime was my server. I can’t say enough good things about her. She was fast, friendly, and delightful. The food was hot and delicious. The new manager Jaunita cashed me out. Since she’s taken over I’ve enjoyed my dining experience here even more. I also liked the new remodel. I highly recommended eating at this Dennys location.
Our server, Jamie was outstanding! She was prompt in taking our order and bringing us piping hot coffee like I like. She brought our food while it was hot. The service, atmosphere and food is much higher than five stars at this location. This is the first restaurant that really makes you feel comfortable. I have gone to many restaurants where you get to know the waitresses but they never ask your name. This Denny’s is like Cheers where everyone gets to know your name. This restaurant has made several changes in the last few weeks with Juanitta in charge. She is a delight to get to know. The atmosphere has improved so much for the better. Jaime is an excellent waitress on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. She has a wonderful personality and makes us regulars feel comfortable and is delighted to wait on us.Carmen cooks the best omelette. Better than any other restaurant. The food is always hot and delicious and looks wonderful. Jaime always brings me cans of cat food. Only thing is I don’t have a cat.. On Thursday we have Trish. Trish is such an amazing waitress too. I love her stories and she listens and makes everyone comfortable. She is a very caring person and enjoys interacting with people. I can talk to her about anything and if I don’t know something she is extremely helpful. She always makes sure that you are comfortable and have everything you need. Trish said that she will bring me dog food but I would really appreciate dog treats instead. Again I don’t have a dog. On Friday Judy just loves waiting on you. I have my own table and she often has it set up for me. Can’t ask for better service. Judy is a delight to know and often tells me stories and shows me pictures of her grandchildren. All three waitresses are not only efficient, delightful and wonderful people to get to know. Denny’s Lockport is the place to be!
I went to Denny this and I had the best time. The servers name was Cory and he was awesome! I know I can be needed and he did everything I asked he was great to talk to as well he definitely made my experience at Denny's great. The food was good as usual.

We visited the Lockport Denny’s for the first time today and were very impressed. Our server, Melanie, greeted us quickly, introduced herself, and provided excellent, attentive service throughout our meal. The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean and welcoming, and my kids loved it so much they’re already excited to return.
Sharon was awesome! She had the kitchen separate the eggs from my order on a different place to share because I don't like eggs. She made sure they didn't touch my food which was an awesome act of thoughtfulness! Great time!

This is hands down absolutely phenomenal service from Judith, she talked me into blueberries on my French toast and let me tell you she's a genius, French toast was cooked to absolute perfection topped with fresh blueberries and she is very entertaining zooming around. And special thank you to Manager Steve for helping me get through the Rewards sign up, taking time during a busy weekend morning to help me out and guess what I got my coffee for free just by signing up. The teamwork here is something to be applauded kudos to management and all involved.

The kiddo wanted Denny's so we went. I saw the Bourbon Chicken skillet. Manager made accommodations for my dietary restrictions and didn't charge me extra for the substitutions. And let me say, that was so delicious!!!
Jamie was our waitress tonight and she was amazing! I ordered the Bourbon Chicken Sizzlin' Skillet and it was amazing. It came out steaming hot, and the flavor was incredible. I've never had a negative experience at this Denny's, it's a wonderful place to eat. I would say the wait time for food was a bit longer than normal but it's a Friday night and everyone was working hard. Thanks again for a positive experience!

Shame on the management for schedule 2 servers and 1 cook for a holiday morning. Your limited team are doing their best they can but your lack of scheduling proper coverage is a disgrace. No busing staff or a register person. Being a restaurant/retail manager you should get out of the office when your team needs help. You work shifts and roll up your sleeve and help. Get it together before your good employees walk due to your incompetence.

I haven't been to a Denny's in years but needed somewhere to get my daughter breakfast after an appointment. I saw online there were a few gluten free options, and they were actually open on a Monday, so we stopped in. It was about 2/3 full and two ladies working the front of house when we arrived... As in, they were seating, taking orders, delivering orders, bussing, and processing payments at the register. 😮 They were in pleasant moods, nonetheless. The food was about as good as diner food gets. The interior was in good condition and everything seemed clean (except the carpet). I was surprised how expensive a plate of breakfast can be these days 😬 but the server pointed out a $10 special ($6 cheaper than the plate I was going to order) so that helped. There are meals that don't contain gluten, but no gluten free substitutes like GF toast or pancakes.
I know it isn't exactly fine dining, but I like Denny's. Their food is decent (love their skillets) and the service is normally pretty good too. Add in decent prices and we like the occasional trip there.
Good experience for a Dennys. Our waitress was Judith F, and she was professional, quiet and speedy, attentive enough. The menu was not especially pricey, but it was a little overpriced. As a dasher orders are RARELY ready for pickup. We also have a time limit and get rates on that. It makes me want to decline dashes from the Lockport NY Denny's. They need to understand the people ordering are their customers also. And it doesn't matter what time of day it is, I dash all hours. They're NEVER ready

The atmosphere was quiet, not a lot of patrons at approx. 3:00 p.m. However, it took a while to be waited on. Once we ordered, it took a while to be served. I've never gotten up and left a restaurant before ordering however I was very tempted. I had other things to accomplish before my day was through. I told myself well, they must be severely understaffed. I don't know, I feel it's a sign of the times.It seems no matter what job you had, you worked hard, and efficiently. Happy with your job or not, you took pride in your work. There's enough blame to go around. From the bosses you work under, the other employees you work with. Still you would attempt to do the job you were hired to do, like #1 Show up for the job, and then attempt to complete your task the best you could , and oh yeah have a smile now and then. Then just maybe everyone that's working with you, counting on you, will Have an awesome day on the job!!
Ordered a peppermint hot chocolate but received something that only resembles one. A slight dark liquid with a hint of mint no signs of chocolate. Tasted like water that shared the same room with a hot chocolate.
Very sad that as a person who does not eat meat I could not order a grand slam and substitute something else for the meat. I was told I would still have to pay full price If I omitted the bacon/sausage. I asked if I could perhaps get extra home fries which to me would be more cost-effective than say requesting extra meat. Unfortunately I was told that it's against policy. Had I not been with people who wanted to go to Denny's I would have eaten locally and would have been given an alternative. On a positive note my apple crisp pancakes were pretty amazing.
It's Denny's, so it's pretty much what you expect, I think. It's the standard diner fare, but I was a little disappointed with being up-charged for a side of bacon. I ordered an omelet with bacon and cheese, plus a side of bacon (I really like bacon). My omelet was supposed to come with potatoes and toast, but I'm on keto, so I asked the server to leave them off my plate. In that case, you might have thought a side of bacon would have counted as a substitute. You'd have thought wrong. It's not that I minded paying (okay, I kind of minded paying for it), but I would like to have been told ahead of time that I would be charged for the bacon. And if I'd known, I probably would not have ordered the extra bacon. Cuz three bucks for 4 slices of bacon? That's a lot to add to a breakfast bill. The food was okay. The service was good. It was a snowy, icy day, and there was an employee out in that nasty weather spreading salt on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. (Way to go, Dude, for taking one for the team!) I was a bit disappointed with how quickly I felt rushed out the door as I was paying, though. When I handed the employee my check and pulled out my debit card, I asked her if they still had a points program. She said they no longer had the app with the points but had another program. She didn't ask if I was a member or if I wanted to sign up. She spoke quickly and didn't really give me an opportunity to ask about it either. She gave me my total, took my money, thanked me, and rushed me out the door.
Grand Slam ....pancakes were fine everything else was cold, bacon limp. Not worth $15. Twice the price of IHOP and disappointing quality.
My family's visit wasn't entirely unpleasant but it certainly could have been better. It almost seemed as if they were short-staffed so I can take a few of the issues in stride. The waitress took a good 10 minutes to get to us for our order. Once our order was placed it took about a half hour for our food to arrive at the table. I know it was 34 minutes because I was timing my kids screen time on his handheld game. Some of my family complained that some parts of their dishes were cold or getting there fast. The food I ordered appeared close to the picture but the fact that the meat portion of it was severely lacking by appx 3/4 was seriously apparent. Enough so that I actually complained about it. I will say that once I said something to the waitress she offered to add an additional chicken breast to the entree at no charge. That much was greatly appreciated. I would have been happier about it had it not taken almost another 25 minutes or so to get an over done and dried out slab of slightly burned chicken to the table. A sad compliment to what was a rather tasty dish. There was no syrup at the table for the pancakes and no steak sauce. It took 10 minutes before one of us got up to ask for some. It wasn't the worst meal I've had at a diner but it was a very lackluster experience that we probably won't try again for awhile. We do like the food when it's done right but it's going to be some time before we choose to try this location again.
Usually food is good. Service is acceptable. Today we got a tea cup with a lip stick smooch from a former customer. They must have a new cook. Chicken stripes where dumped in pepper and he probably thought "O well, whatever, I gonna dump a handful salt on the fries too, just to even it out". We figured it out buddy.
The windows are really drafty in the winter and whenever I go to Denny's, I am either seated at a booth against a cold window or right in front of the door. There were probably 4 or 5 tables besides ours but i finished my soda roughly 10 min before our meal was served and didn't get offered a refill until I was about 2 bites away from finishing my plate. HOWEVER! The OGs that work day shift are phenomenal like Tamara, and Jamie (there are quiet a few that I just can think of but can't remember their names) Josie and Katie Wagner worked there years ago and they both left such an everlasting impression ❤️ they are genuinely the sweetest 🫶

We had a terrible experience at this Denny’s. We were seated right away that was the only plus. Given one menu for 2 adults and two children so we had to share nbd. Waited over a half hour for a waiter/ waitress to even acknowledge us. Not one was on the floor. We actually had to flag down a server and ask for our waiter/ waitress to come. We ordered our drinks only because unbeknownst to us at the time it was the manager taking our drink order. Finally the waitress came over to take our meal order at this time we’ve been there an hour and we’re starving and mad. Meanwhile others are being seated food is coming in and out of the kitchen to tables that have more people than us and came after us. The staff’s whole focus was on door dash orders…. No concern at all for the customers actually in the restaurant. After another hour and half and being told that were next ( which was a lie) we finally received our food. Edible - barely! Two burgers and fries ice cold. One salad hot with the cheese melting on top ( gross). One other meal that literally looked like vomit. No one was happy. Our waitress ignored us and all the other customers in the restaurant. It was the worst Denny’s experience of my life!!!! Complained of course after we received the bill and not much was done. For $100 we came in hungry and left hungry and thirsty. Sad place this chain has turned into. Putting the customers that aren’t there first door dash ahead of the people that are.
Where's the manager? Do you just not care? They should be ashamed. The food was not cooked properly. I sent back the uncooked bacon (rubber like and raw) and hash browns (white and uncooked). Bacon came back crisp but the potatoes were covered in grey grease. Waiter said " the ncook said they can't get them any crispier." I get better food at Waffle House. The pancakes were cold so much so the butter didn't melt. The cook needs to be fired. Just unacceptable. The cook is a large woman no one can step up to, and apparently the manager is non existent and doesn't care. It was disgusting. When we paid our bill (after not eating my food) they said how was it? I said terrible, really bad but the waiter was great. Cashier replied he does his best with what he can do. Before we were seated the hostess asked a waitress (both standing right in front of us at the hostess station) if she had room food two and the waitress, an older woman with a scowl on her face snaps "two what?" Real nasty. Glad we got the guy waiter because you could tell he felt terrible about having no choice but to serve food like that. If you can't serve basic breakfast food you should not be in business. My next call will be to DOH. THE PLACE WAS FILTHY. Obvious the only person that cared was the waiter and he is powerless. Here's a plan: fire the "cook" and clean the restaurant.
Food was atrocious. Ranch dressing was spoiled, french fries were cold,not sure what meat was used for hamburger, but was dusgusting. My husband has been sick since we left. Never, ever again
First thing you notice is that it is dirty, floors are grease and scum stained. Bathroom mirrors haven’t been touched in months, thick layer of grime in corners. Careful what you order, this location has their own opinions on what you get. Milk shakes are about 12 oz sundae cups now and despite the menu saying you get “the leftovers” in the metal mixer cup, they won’t give you that. Portions for things are not listed and either feels off, or inflation has caused them to decrease. Nachos have less meat than they used to. Service itself isn’t bad, food was made correctly and utensils and etc were clean at a glance.
The manager Steve is not a good person. The hostess is entitled and rude. Just an awful experience. The customer is never right.

Why would you try opening at 6am? Real diners open at 6 am, and dennys has the worst breakfast by quality and portion compared to a real diner. Literally the only thing it had going for it was being open 24/7 and all day dinner food.
Normally we have a great experience! This time our waitress was rude pushy and our food was made terribly! There was nothing on the club sandwich we ordered and asked for no tomato and that was on there! Our nachos we ordered had like no meat on it whatsoever! It was not busy at all the waitresses were more interested in there very loud conversation about there personal lives rather than the customers!
The service was as horrible as the food. I wasted my entire lunch break wait to receive crappy food. The waitress had things to say as I was leaving and none of it was an apology for having me wait for over 20 minute in an almost empty restaurant.
I ordered two Thanksgiving Day Plate specials for a family member who couldn’t afford a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. When the meals were delivered, each order contained only one slice of turkey with gravy on top of French fries and onion rings. I called to speak with a manager—his name was Steve—to explain the issue. Instead of listening, he repeatedly and rudely told me I was “ignorant” and insisted I received exactly what I ordered. I explained multiple times that the only food included was a slice of turkey with gravy over fries and onion rings—items I didn’t even want but were listed as mandatory add-ons. Steve, acting as though he knew more than the customer, continued calling me ignorant, then dropped an “F-bomb” and hung up on me. I called back and spoke with the hostess, who initially seemed willing to talk but quickly became just as dismissive. She mocked me for “making a big deal” about not receiving what I ordered, accused me of not listening, and repeatedly interrupted me when I attempted to explain. She then refused to offer a proper resolution—no refund and no replacement order—only a partial refund or the option to drive back and pick up the rest of the food. The pictures clearly show the meal should have included mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, broccoli, stuffing/dressing, and garlic bread. I told her I would not accept those terms and would contact the corporate office and my credit card company. She replied, “Do what you have to do,” and hung up on me as well. Honestly, the rudest experience I have ever encountered in the customer service field. Acting like I should be grateful for spending $60 dollars for two pieces of Turkey, dab of gravy, fries, and onion rings? I understand their lives aren't great working there ans having to work on Thanksgiving, but for God's sake. Please see attached pictures.
A family member tried to order me dinner from the restaurant for the holiday because I couldn't afford it and couldn't make the trip because of health reasons. They refused to fix the order and told me I had to come up myself to grab the items. I was in on a three way call listening to him call them back. The hostess was arrogant, kept accusing him of not listening and would interrupt. Just awful.no other places open and I will now go to bed without a meal. This guy Steve and the hostess are pieces of work
Just terrible. 18.18 for a brisket sandwich with a soggy bun. Glad I paid extra for a fruit cup that I never got in my take out Burger was awful. Roll also utterly soggy. Very annoyed I paid $40 for inedible trash. Milkshakes have been massively shrunk. Never again. You're more expensive than local places now, and your food is awful
