I came to this place during lunch and it was only $15! Really good price. They then sat me down and got me a drink, which was quick. There are a lot of food choices here, my favorites are the Chow mein, fried chicken, fried rice, and the dumplings. ITS SO GOOD. Every food here is good, especially for the price! I would definitely recommend this buffet.

Come here for the seafood! Just discovered this spot and I've been coming back frequently since then 👌🏽 they have the Chinese food basics, seafood (love their crab), greens/salads, desserts and they have sushi ! From time to time i get friendly waiters and other times i get the waiters that look like they hate to be bothered with anything. I stopped asking for the tool to break crab legs bc it seems to bother some of them to the point that they know i need it and don't bother to bring it until half way thru my dining. The place and the interior were on the slightly better side, but when it comes to the atmosphere of the place, it was just okay. The staff was neither nice nor rude. But what this place really shines in is ofcourse the food, delicious fresh food ranging from pork dumplings all the way to shrimps and sushi. If you find yourself in LA and are hungry and don't know of any places to go to, this is definitely the place for you. (They have a buffet aswell as a system where you take the buffet food with you instead of dining in. They charge you by the pound if you want to get the take-out buffet)

Haven't been here in over 2 years but food usually pretty good all around. Sometimes some food can be a bit over salted or lack some flavor, and customer service is pretty amazing. You don't have to wait too long for a refill on a drink or someone to clear your empty plates.

This is a decent economy buffet. All the Chinese buffet basics at a good price. Food is decent & fresh. The service is above average and friendly. However the building is dated and could use some upgrades. The facility is clean and food is always piping hot & fresh. First time I ever go to a buffet in LA but if I can't lie the food is great just the people working are extremely lazy, they don't pick up your plates when your done they sometimes stack up by a lot they act like your soda ain't low and refuse refills unless you literally tell them to and sometimes they avoid you. 1 star for service and 5 stars for food, so I'm leaving you with 3 stars overall. Please improve! Edit 2: It seems like after I left the 3 star, the owner actually talked to workers and finally picked up your plates and sodas. Unless it was a different worker. But whoever attended me that day, I left a tip as a thank you.

A little pricey at 23 dollars after tax and a drink, but this place is really good. It’s busy which is good, they have a good selection and everything I tried was really good quality and tasty. They even have a self serve ice cream machine. Everything you want from a place like this - except they were sort of lacking on dessert, they had the usual fruit which was all fresh and really good, and the ice cream. I saw sushi but didn’t try, though it seemed popular. Def where you wanna go - if 23 per person is within your budget. I have no regrets it’s just what I was looking for

There was a variety of food to choice from and they all tasted delicious. The best part was the ice cream at the end that I got for my finishing dish. The only problem I had with this is when I was eating a worker kept looking at me while I was eating and it made me feel uncomfortable, but I think I am think to much of it. In the end it was a really good place to eat for the price, just don't use the restroom there.

Pretty sweet buffet right here. Lots of options to choose from, they have fruits! Pineapple, strawberries, and theres Jellos, sushi, mushroom, orange chicken, rice chow mein. It was packed when first got there but thankfully the line moved decent pace. They also have a flan (not sure if it was flan but maybe?) bites. grateful they had fruits and salad since im making an effort to eat such things as of late 😊😎

The dishes I selected were actually pretty tasty, well seasoned. I was impressed with the 3 of the 4 prepared salads as they had a very nice fresh quality and again, very well seasoned. My favorite was the spinach salad. Patrons were wearing masks while serving themselves from the buffet, but gloves were not in use by anyone including staff. Pretty busy, and foods at hot tables constantly refilled during dinner session. Quality was better than I remember during past visits. I did not experience General Tso's Revenge at this restaurant! Amazing.

The food was delicious, fresh, and replenished quickly. The variety was great, with Chinese dishes, sushi, salad selection, and even soft ice cream. The tender beef ribs were the standout for me. The only minor hiccup was that the soup cups took a bit too long to be restocked. Overall, though, a very satisfying experience.

This was my first time eating at this buffet-style restaurant. In my opinion, the dishes that I tried were dry. The ribs, chicken wings, and even the beef and broccoli had a funny taste to it. For the most part, I would normally go back for a second helping of food if the dishes were up to par, but in this case, there is no way! I didn't even waste my time. The service and atmosphere were nice, but really below-par food selection. If I could give 21/2 stars, I would.

If you’re near the area, you must come here, for the food! The food here is quite good. The service was fast to clean anything and fast to replace foods when they run out. It's nothing fancy, but a great simple buffet with decent options. I'd gave it 4-stars when compared to comparable buffets of this type for the price. When compared to all buffets, I give it a 3-star. There are buffets that's have more higher ticket price options, but they will cost more. I think I paid $16 for lunch which it was worth it. There are similar buffets with crab legs and other such options, but you will obviously pay much more for entry. All that being said, I would go back here.

Been coming here for the last 2 years! There service was good and prices. There new ice cream machine is great it's no longer water down as much! Lately it feels like they want you out before you even sit down. They watch you like an eagle almost makes you feel uncomfortable. I see why buffet are declining.

Tried this place out yesterday Oct 15 and there is a large selection of food to choose from and the 3 items I enjoyed the most was the fried rice hot and sour soup and stuffed shrimp. All other food was either cold or almost warm. The employees were fine I had no trouble with them.

Food was ok, I know they have good people in the kitchen because some dishes were really good,the roast beef was very dry. Management needs a new direction. staff yelling in front of customer is a big no for me. They had way to many tables were you can bearly walk. Pay first before you enter. The cashier charge you more than you have to pay. We arrived at 3 so still lunch time. Dinner time start at 3:30, my daughter grabbed 2 half pieces of crab and my husband 4 pieces of shrimp and the waitress came to tell us that we have to pay extra because of the pieces they grabbed. From there the environment turned heavy and uncomfortable. They don’t have signs/dividers/spare tables so you can tell what is not part of the lunch menu. This place use to be good before COVID. Now the food very bland, tastes like frozen food. Lukewarm at best the soups were ok also not to warm and they don't have the cold crab legs any longer. Prices are a little high for no crab.

It was 8:45pm I took my daughter to the bathroom and the floor was soaked in bleach toilets were also soaked in bleach ruined my clothes. It’s an over dirty crusty place. So sad it used to be clean and fun to come now I felt like they treated me like I wasn’t paying to eat.

New Panda Buffet – Terrible Service and Disrespectful Behavior My visit to New Panda Buffet was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. From the start, the cashier was incredibly rude — no greeting, no courtesy, and she snatched the receipt out of my hand without saying a word. I overheard her and another staff member make a comment about me in their own language, then look at me and laugh. That level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. While getting food, a tall kitchen employee physically pushed my mother without so much as an apology. No one came by to check on us, offer a drink refill, or provide even basic service. It was as if our presence there was an inconvenience to them. Here in the United States, customers expect and deserve respectful, polite service — regardless of background. If you’re going to work in a customer-facing role, especially in a diverse community, it’s important to learn and adapt to the customs of the country you live in. Bringing negative, dismissive attitudes from elsewhere doesn’t work here. Latinos and African Americans, like many others, don’t respond well to being treated with disregard or contempt. To make matters worse, after this terrible treatment, they still brought the little black plate expecting a tip. Let me be clear — a tip is earned, not assumed, and nothing about this experience came close to deserving one. I won’t be returning, and I hope management takes this as a serious call to train their staff to treat people with dignity and respect.

All the meat and vegetable dishes tasted terrible, and the hygiene was very poor. I threw up, and three of my friends also threw up. We were all very dissatisfied. The Chinese woman was stingy and demanded extra money. We will not come back again. Everyone, don't go to Chinese self-service restaurants. I hate Chinese self-service restaurants. Be careful!

I have been going to new panda buffet for years now with my best friend every time we're around culver city. It's was a great spot to grub. But despite being regular customers we have been kicked out twice from the restaurant. I understand first time was towards closing so they hawk us down while we are eating and kind of pushy to make you leave. Yesterday which was the second time It was around 8:24 pm and they close at 9 pm one of the servers came up to our table and hands me a container for my ice cream saying "take your ice cream home because we're going home" and took the plate of food I was eating. I felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable and it hurt my feelings as if they don't like us or want us to go there and we always tipped, we never asked for anything, me and my best friend are very soft spoken people we have never been difficult customers but their behavior was rather rude and unprofessional. kicking us out like that while I was still eating was baffling to me. They were also a table behind us everyone gathered up speaking in their own language and I felt like they were making comments about us as they were hawking me down while I was eating until one of them just walked up to us and told us to leave and take my dessert home and just takes the plate and soda away trying to say I have eaten enough. If they are open till 9 pm then they're open till 9 pm you don't just kick customers out 30-40 mins before closing and snatch the plate of food i paid for from my hands. I will never come back.

This is a long shot, I BARELY ever rate places. I used to come here as a kid all the time with my family and at least back then it seamed somewhat oriented and pleasant. I’ve come back to it two times since I’ve been more older and my first time had to pay after dining in which is the way I’m used to so I had no problem with that. I noticed staff not being the best or friendliest. I came back two months later and had to pay before eating, which the price for two absolutely ridiculous for the service and food that night. The staff don’t pay attention to you. There’s hair in the food. And the machines next to you are just plain loud. They also tell you last minute they would charge you if you want to take home food. So I don’t know! It saddened me my childhood lifetime fav restaurant had evolved to that but I’m not going there anymore after that.
