Chipotle Mesquite Reviews
I want to give a huge shoutout to Alex at Chipotle for his kindness and patience. He was incredibly respectful and compassionate with customers, especially my nephew, who is autistic. Alex spoke to him so gently and told him, “It’s okay, take your time,” which meant more to us than he probably realizes. Seeing someone show that level of understanding and care truly made our day. Thank you, Alex, for being such a kind human and creating a welcoming experience for everyone. Chipotle is lucky to have you! 🌯💙
Hubby and I dropped in for lunch. Luckily we beat the rush and didn't have to wait in line long. The staff was polite/welcoming , and the food was tasty. They need to improve on their housekeeping, because all the dinning room tables were soiled. We will be back. Dec. 01, 2024- I wasn't too pleased with my food. The portions were good, but the steak and rice was cold. The staff was great. The beverage center was a mess. 👎 Dec, 31, 2024- This location is a hit or miss, so you're on your own. They did so much better this time. The service and our food was on point. We've never had a problem with the portions. They earned an extra ✭ today.🎉
The food was decent and the service was ok but I noticed that there was mold growing on the side of the soda machine right where the straws reside. It was very nasty and it needs to be cleaned asap before someone gets sick from a moldy straw or lid.
18$ and a small scoop of meat barbacoa is ridiculous. Employees act like they charge them the meat. People start recording when they make y’all’s burrito or bowl.
This Chipotle location on Town East Boulevard is in desperate need of service and cleanliness improvements. By far, the dirtiest Chipotle I’ve ever been to. The lines are long and the food preppers are slow. The dining room is filthy and so is the condiments and soft drinks area. The food area where all the ingredients are is very much dirty and not appetizing. I’m sure they have staffing shortages because we didn’t see many people working there. Food was still tasty after all.
This Chipotle is on the struggle bus. Today is Labor Day. So thankfully they’re open. But the line is loooong. Idk if they’re understaffed or got new ppl figuring out how to make the food but this is frustrating. There’s even a line for ppl waiting for their to-go orders. I came here a couple hours ago and the line was to the door. And I had the nerve to come back again and now I’m wasting my Sunday evening in line. Another nearby Chipotle is closed. They get 1 stars for being open on Labor Day. But this slow service is tiresome and inefficient. A couple employees are standing around twiddling their thumbs, not helping their coworkers. The young girl didn’t know how to roll my burrito. Yikes. Poor decision on my part to try this place for the first time. UPDATE: After reading previous recent reviews of this location, I highly recommend never coming. Don’t spend your time or money here unless you want to be sorely disappointed.
I had a bug in my lettuce I tired telling the manager she looked at me and kept walking and so then she still didn’t help me until I got back in line. She also kept saying she didn’t see it but then gone say it’s a mosquito which it wasn’t.
Food was NOT fresh, the portions of meat were stingy! When asked for fresh steak they said it would take 10 min which is not true, it wasn’t even busy. There were too many dirty dishes visible! The manager didn’t care and offered no solution.
The service is not even 1 star they all look like they hate their jobs and don’t want to be there. What happened to service with a mailed at the bare minimum. The chips were stale and gross. Don’t waste your money at this location. I have been to many chipotles and this by far is my worst experience.
My husband and I came to eat the service was bad all the tables were dirty ice cover the soda machine and I had to ask for another bag of chips because the ones I had where soggy even at that the second bag was to amd the workers can at least smile a little this place is a disaster and nasty instead of them cleaning they stand around talking
Walked in at about 8:30 pm was craving the Carne asada bowl with Chimichurri sauce. They close at 11 pm! They did not have any meat just carnitas & dry chicken. I told them I would wait for the carne asada. They told me it would be 30 minutes. I waited because that's what I was craving. They had already made my first bowl and finally the second bowl was ready. I could literally count the 4 little strips of carne asada, then I asked for sour cream and he threw like 3 portions of sour cream. They still have 2.5 hours left for the day and they have nothing. Lettuce and guacamole was NOT fresh.
The inside was dirty,no clean tables, the chips was stale,my husband had to go back twice to try and get us fresh one, but no luck neath time,no napkins in the holder,we won't be going back, for 40, dollar's we deserve better, the meat wasn't done,we had to trash 40 dollars worth of food, was very upset
Asked the cashier was I charged right. He instantly became rude and irritated. I asked for the cashiers name and he said “we don’t give out names” so I asked for the manager he responded that he was the manager. It’s ironic that you don’t give out names but “Brittany” is on the receipt I received. Just to be certain I asked him was that his name he was signed in under and he said no. Why are you refusing your name when it prints out on the receipt? Why are you signed in under another employees name? This is my second time trying this location and I got the same results. The last time I came to this location there was no sign or announcement that there was no guacamole. I got all the way to the end to find out there was not any and they were not going to make any. (This was during lunch hour.) Overall highly disappointed in this location.
I was sooo readyyy to eat some chipotle that I had been craving all day. I go into this specific location by town east and I come home to eat my food and it’s taste like NOTHING. No lime no salt no pepper no anything everything in my bowl taste. As bland and oily as it came get. I’ve never had chipotle like that and this very disappointed me. I will NEVER be returning to this location ever.
I am so disappointed. I came in and ordered a bowl with barbacoa and steak. When I take my food home to eat I realized the "meat" I was given it was all fat. The worst part of it is I had to pay additional fees for the extra meat and I wasn't even able to eat it. I was going to attach a photo but I'm sure no one wants to see a chewed up spit out food. The service I received was cool and I look like it was pretty tidy for a lunch rush.
I was really looking forward to my visit, but unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. The restaurant looked messy and unclean as soon as we walked in. I came in for a Carnitas quesadilla, but they were out of carnitas. The staff seemed distracted—most were in the back having conversations and not paying much attention to customers ordering. When it was time to pay, I mentioned I was dining in, but the employee still bagged everything. She then asked what I ordered, and even after I answered, she ignored me and asked her coworker, who just shrugged. Eventually, she looked through the bag and rang me up. I went to get a drink and was disappointed again. The area was dirty, and they were also out of the berry agua fresca I usually enjoy. Overall, it felt like the store was understaffed, unorganized, and not well taken care of. Hope they can improve because I usually enjoy Chipotle.
As we do every couple of weeks, we ordered Chipotle. I don’t understand what it is, but every Chipotle we go to there is a problem. We stopped going to Rowlett because of the service, which included workers whispering about my husband as if he wasn’t standing there, to missing items, and just attitude. We decided to come here as a change of location and to give the benefit of the doubt. We don’t give bad reviews “just for fun” but to warn others to watch for issues we have experienced. I will give a good review just as fast as I give a bad one. But Chipotle.. re-evaluate your employees. I’m going to start with the guacamole they forgot that was apart of my birthday reward. I also ordered chips and guacamole, totaling it to two guacamoles. I will say Pepper, their automated system gave me back my missing guacamole. Next, the chips. They barely gave me a handful of chips. The portion was sad, and didn’t even fill up the bag half way. It was almost as if they gave me a children’s portion size, if that. Speaking of the portion size, the corn and rice they gave me next to my quesadilla was a little low. But that’s not my main issue with that. My issue was the cross contamination of red salsa I did not order splattered on my corn. This wasn’t from my husbands food in the same bag since both are packaged separately. That brings me to my husbands food. They filled the bowl completely backwards. The pico and red salsa was on top, and they had smushed the lid down onto it as well. My quesadilla box was in the bottom of the bag, so it wasn’t that. He did order quac on top of his bowl as well, which he received maybe less than half a scoop of. Besides the issues with our food, the service is always awful. They think their vinaigrette sauce is gold. Why are all of the workers acting like gollum, protecting the ring? I’m serious, every time you ask for it there is serious attitude, or they give you minimal and aren’t afraid to argue with you about it. More like make an argument or show attitude even if you’re nice about it. Just like tonight; when my husband asked for 3 ramekins that they fill the quarter of the way anyways, the first worker immediately told him “we are out”.. until his coworker corrected him and said there was some in the back. He reluctantly then went to the back and brought a handful, but then put only ONE in our bag in a very petty fashion. Two would have been more understandable since we had TWO meals. It’s very frustrating to put up with these employees, and then come home to find things missing, or something wrong with the food. At this point, it’s almost a slap in the face to even go to Chipotle. I understand being busy, I understand being tired, but that is not a reason to treat customers badly and CONSTANTLY make mistakes. I wouldn’t even have left this review if it was just the guacamole missing, things happen. But there were so many things that just keep piling on. Pictures include - The few chips whenever I first opened the bag, the cross contamination on the corn with red salsa, my husbands lid which is smeared in red salsa that wasn’t supposed to be at the top at the bowl (He started eating before I could get a picture of the actual bowl)
So disappointed. I usually have a good experience here but today I placed a to go order while I was in the restaurant eating. My son got the kids quesadilla and wanted another quesadilla. I placed the order and it was ready in 10 minutes. I grabbed it and decided we should finish our meal at home. At home, when he opened the package he said YUCK. The tortilla was hard, looked old , and there was no cheese! $10 just like that down the drain. I would like to get a refund.
Horrible service, this is the second time I order on the app and my bowl is almost empty. I had ordered extra rice and beans and they barely put any beans on it. It only had a few pieces of chicken. I guess never ordering from the app again if you want your food to be made right you have to go up there and see the exact amount that is being served for it to be right.
