The Tavern was a great place to enjoy American style food in a nice atmosphere with a Miami Beach vibe and friendly service. I ordered a shrimp wrap. It came with sides of delicious fries and a green salad. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. Prices are fair, especially for a touristy area. Service was friendly. Atmosphere with very comfortable. I would not hesitate to go back! Highly recommended!

Claire and Carlos were attentive and friendly. We had free drinks at happy hour as a guest in the hotel, shared the hummus with pita and veggies, followed by the shrimp skewers. Over all great experience!

We got there around 11:30am and were quickly sat at a table. Our waiter was very friendly and sweet - older gentleman who literally whistled and hummed constantly, you could tell he loved his job. My husband ordered the Miami Vice drink and said it was very delicious. I ordered the waffle with cheese eggs and it was soooo good. A good Belgium waffle is one of my favorites and it did NOT disappoint. My hubs got the scramble and said he couldn't stop ordering it. Best breakfast, hands down. Gratuity was included in our bill before we even got it, which I thought was weird, but whatever.

Excellent food, drink, service, and atmosphere! Stumbled across this place while walking down the street, and we were not disappointed. Cool and casual vibes inside, with plenty of outdoor seating. The menu is expansive, but not so much that it's confusing or tedious. The food was excellent. We tried the Mexican Benedict and the Steak Frites, and both were stellar. Our server, Carlitos, was super attentive and helpful. We will definitely be coming back the next time we're in the area.

The food and service here are absolutely spectacular. Dennis provided incredibly friendly and attentive service, making the whole experience feel welcoming and seamless. Every dish is delicious. There’s a great variety of options available both before and after 10 PM and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Highly recommended!

Hubby and I ate here on a whim while in Miami for a night. Service was top notch (shout out to Alex!!), food was excellent (pictured: Sicilian Countryside Chicken), and atmosphere was so fun while still being elegant feeling (lights on tables, wine bottles on display, etc.). Locally sourced homemade desserts were a win, too. Back to the chicken dish I got - I hate I didn’t get a “before” picture, but I’m posting the “after.” I honestly wasn’t expecting a great pasta dish from a tavern restaurant, but I was blown away!! Loved it so much and would definitely come back. Until next time!

Amazing experience for our after wedding celebration! We had 9 people in our party. The food was fantastic. Service was exceptional by Eddy! He was on top of everything, from drinks to shots to anything food related, he met every need we had. His vibe was so fun and enthusiastic and he kept everything going smoothly. Our trip to Miami was more fun with our experience at the Tavern. Eddy was full of hilarious jokes and free entertainment! We will be back for sure next time, no doubt! Highly recommend the Chef's Mahi main course and the South Beach Pina Colada to drink.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times over the years I've been coming to Miami Beach. Each time, the food, service and welcoming atmosphere just solidifies what a good idea it is to stop by when I'm in town. The ribeye is a great choice, but really, I've never had a bad meal here. The breakfast is great as well. Great place to bring kids, when many of the other choices directly around here are not necessarily the best for that. Claire has been my server a few times when I've been by and has always been helpful and welcoming, I'm always glad to see she's here when I come in.

Great food and drinks in a relaxed Miami Beach setting. The salad was fresh and delicious, and the drinks were excellent. Big shout-out to Zoran — fast, attentive, and on point. Very good value for the area. Would definitely come back.

Stefano was our waiter tonight; he's great, super nice and welcomed us with shots. He gave us good recommendations when we were unsure. He speaks spanish as well, which helps a lot! My veggie sandwich was tasty and the potatoes were on point. Chicken curry was also well prepared. The atmosphere is chill and enjoyable. I'd recommend!

Walked here from our resort and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was so friendly and patient. We sat outside in the terrace. It was later than normal for dinner. There was no wait and the air was cooler. There are fans on the patio for the hotter times. I could see that there was inside seating too. Hassan was our waiter and he did amazing. We got 2 different burgers, the croydon and the juicy. The fries were nice and crunchy and I loved the salad that came with it. We will be back before we head out for sure!

Came back for breakfast. Claire was amazing. The food is very refreshing and tasty. The staff was polite and attentive to our needs. The drinks aren't watered down like a lot of spots in Miami. Food is also reasonably priced for the portions and quality.

We had a wonderful experience at Tavern in Miami Beach. The atmosphere was cozy and stylish, the food was delicious, and everything was beautifully presented. A special thank you to our server Tespi — he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. He gave great recommendations and took perfect care of us throughout the evening. We had such a wonderful time at The Tavern! From the moment we arrived, everything was great — the restaurant feels warm and inviting, and the food was seriously excellent. Every dish we tried was flavorful and beautifully served. What really made this visit special was our waiter Danilo. He was outstanding — very polite, positive, attentive, and extremely professional. He took great care of us, checked on everything at the right time, and made sure we enjoyed our meal. You can tell he truly cares about customers and knows how to provide top-level service. Thank you, Danilo, for such an amazing experience! We’ll definitely be back.

Had lunch here today. Such a great experience. Hassan was our server and he was a delight. We had a great chat at the end of our meal. The Tavern plays an impressive and eclectic array of music and I was singing and dancing in my seat the entire meal as was a lady across from us which then led to a great conversation with her and her two kids. The restaurant is accessible however the restrooms seemed to only be reached by stairs. They have in and out seating. We would definitely go again if in the area.

First night in Miami was great, it’s going to be hard to top this salmon. Claire our server was absolutely amazing, very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The salmon was cooked well and very tasteful. The Ultimate Burger was very yummy and cooked to perfection. I will definitely be returning before the end of my trip.

I had a great experience with our server Ilir. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive and professional without being overbearing. He knew the menu well and gave a couple of helpful recommendations that ended up being really good choices. What I appreciated most was how smooth everything felt during the meal. Drinks were always refilled, plates were cleared at the right time, and we never had to look around to find him if we needed something. He checked in just enough to make sure everything was good without interrupting the conversation at the table. Overall, the service felt polished and genuine. If you get the chance, I’d definitely recommend asking for Ilir.

We ate outside and it was cute. The service was good. for breakfast the food was quite delicious. The waffles were moist and tasty and the breakfast tacos are actually really really good. If you’re in the Miami Beach area you should totally come here for breakfast.

After flying in, we checked into our hotel around 9:00 PM and headed out shortly after to grab some food. Walking down Collins Ave, most restaurants were either closed or about to close, so we were really glad to come across The Tavern. The welcoming staff greeted us right away and seated us quickly. Our server was attentive, professional, and efficient, which made a great first impression -- especially after a long travel day. The dishes we ordered looked clickable and inviting. We tried the Island Mahi Sandwich, Caesar Supreme Wrap, and Chicken Tacos. The Caesar Supreme Wrap was flavorful and overwhelming (in the best way -- we loved it), while the chicken tacos were slightly underwhelming for us. Everything arrived promptly and was nicely presented. We also appreciated that the menu listed a good number of vegetarian options, which is rare in many places. While we didn’t order any vegetarian dishes ourselves, it’s nice to know that vegetarian diners can try this place without hesitation. A highlight of the night was the complimentary lemon drop shots offered to the adults in our group -- a generous and much-appreciated gesture. Overall, it was a good experience and a solid option if you’re looking for a late-night meal in the area. We’d recommend it to others, especially for the friendly service, inclusive menu, and convenient location.

I would say an overall positive casual dining experience. With late night options all the way to midnight. Convenient to get to, walkable from so many hotels. Food is good on the late night menu but do expect to wait a little to get it served to you.

Took well over an hour to get a Burger, and it wasnt amazing, but not bad. But after waiting that long and tries coming out cold takes them down a star. I expected better based on the reviews and photos. But it's a pretty average spot. Also, they add a 6% "service charge" and a mandatory %14 tip. I mostly find this odd, as I always tip 20% anyway. But I'm worried they're stealing the 6% from the servers since it's split that way. Maybe it's some Miami Beach thing I don't know about. But they should be more transparent about it before you order.

The Tavern has a great location and a relaxed vibe that fits Miami Beach. The menu is decent, but the food and service were average and didn’t really stand out. Prices felt a little high for what you get. Overall, it’s an okay spot for a casual meal, but not a standout compared to other options nearby.

Don’t let the ratings fool you. My wife and I saw this promoted on maps with thousands of ratings but left very disappointed. The establishment was decorated very well and has a ton of great wall paintings. the interior seating lounge was intimate. We were quickly seated upon arrival but ended up waited over 30min for our food even though it was long after the lunch rush on a Sat. Both our waters were warm so I ordered a sprite only to have it come with hair in the cup. The food arrived and was presented well but we could tell the it was sitting long since the bottom burger bun was so soggy we couldn’t pick it up with it breaking apart and ended up eating it with a fork. The Cuban had no flavor but the fries and side salad were great. There was a reason why the two tables around us never finished their meals and packed half to go. They also never came back to refill my sprite even though it was a half empty restaurant.

Over priced even for Miami Beach. Service is good. Food is absolutely terrible. Had dry chicken. And to make it worst its one of those places that hide the service charges. They split between gratuity and service charge (see recipt). The store bought dessert was ok.
