My boyfriend and I were trying to find a quick place to grab some food on his lunch break and we stumbled onto this place. We realized that it was an old Hardee's turned into a ma and Pa restaurant. The food was regular. The atmosphere was homie except Little gnats kept flying around us. When I mean regular for the food I mean like I think it was called a Colorado sandwich and it came out on a bun with chicken and bacon cheese and barbecue sauce. However, the barley soup that came with it as well was very good. The waitress was on her game and she was very kind. The inside looks a little scummy but waitresses is very kind.

Good food. Small cafe, clean. The soup was chicken dumpling. Could have been warmer, but great flavor. Service was very good also. My husband had the grilled chicken dinner. Hash browns were amazing. Chicken was moist and juicy, but could have used a little more seasoning. His salad looked like it was hand cut, not bag lettuce. I had the patty melt. Overall was good, but could have been a little crispier. The breakfast at other tables looked great, I would love to go back and try one. Would definitely eat here again. Prices are reasonable, bill for 2 of us was $23. It is clean and cozy.

They were running a special on the Hog Skillet the morning we came in. Apparently, they were using a special pork tenderloin for it so we both decided to order it. The food came out quickly but the sliced, breaded pork tenderloin was so hard and rubbery that neither of us could stomach it. My friend let the server know and she apologized profusely before taking the dishes away and bringing out new ones, STAT. The second Hog Skillet was so much better. The pork tenderloin was nice and moist inside and crispy on the outside. Just the way it should be! The server said that they went back to the original recipe for the re-make. The bad batch was frozen, I guess. This is a lesson not to cut corners! It's awful that the first dish was not up to standards but the staff all addressed the situation very professionally.

We arrived on a Sunday morning around 8 and were seated immediately. The restaurant has a great small diner feel with all of the comfort food you want. Food was above average and Hot from the kitchen. Very good service and food to match. We will definitely be back.

Very loud place. People don't know how to use inside voices. Bring cash they will charge 5% more for using cc or debit card. This is above the state maximum they can legally change. Food not that great. 4 dollars for side order of bacon 3 small pieces too. 3 adult 1 child near 60 dollars foe breakfast.

I ordered 2 eggs over hard break the yolks. Crispy bacon. I got 2 eggs scorched on the outside and runny in the middle and my bacon was half cooked. Still charged me 10.29 on a 12.29 breakfast. Had to get my own silverware from another table. I told the waitress about the eggs and she said the cooks always do that. Beware.
