Casa Franco Mission Viejo Reviews
Best Mexican food anywhere around. I highly recommend this place.
This place has the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. It's been there for 40 years. That says something about a small hole in the wall place. Clearly they are doing things right. Food: you can tell its made in house from only fresh ingredients. Chips: made in house from fresh cut corn tortillas. They are the amazing thin, extra crispy kind. The guac is the best I've had at a restaurant in a long time. You can tell its made with avos they cut up in house, and all the other bits were fresh too. We split the fajitas between 2 people and still took half of it home. When looking at the prices it seems high, but the amount of food and quality, you get is totally worth the price.
My go to for amazing & authentic Mexican food! Always super consistent in the quality & taste with great service every time. I always order the same thing, cheese enchiladas because they are just that good! I used to live out of state & made sure to eat here whenever I was in town over the past couple of years. Now I'm back home & ordering nearly weekly.
Love the enchiladas, great service
I’m just visiting Mission Viejo and found this place on google. Wow, I was surprised at how good the food is here! They hit all the flavor profiles! And freaking large portions!! I’d definitely come back here! Service was great as well!
Great food, consistent and good portions. Friendly staff. Really enjoy they authentic Mexican flavors!
OMG... my pansa was sooo happy. This place is amazing. Moved here from Chicago & have not found a good place until today.
Carne asada con camarones never disappoints. Been ordering the same thing for over 10 years and it is amazing. When I do feel curious I'll occasionally try something else on the menu and never had anything less than awesome. Service is great as well! Such a hidden gem. Pro tip, if you do get the carne asada con camarones, drizzle the garlic butter on basically everything.
Love this place, quality food and great service. Nice covid patio. The Verde sauce is my favorite!
I've been here 3 times. My wife and I love it. Friendly staff, good service, and fantastic food. Ask for the fantastico burrito.

Fire🔥🔥🔥 great bar, attentive staff, and friendly. Authentic and perfect pricing for taco tuesday. You cant beat the prices or quality when you are looking for a TRUE street taco tuesday price with fresh modelo on tap and a comfy bar.
The food was very very good. Lots of flavor. The pork tamale and the shredded beef enchilada were great. Albondiga soup was almost exactly like how my grandfather made it. The restaurant was a little dark. Other than that the servers and staff were attentive and helpful.
Wow! Stopped in while in the area and the experience was wonderful. Excellent food, very tasty. Big portions, reasonable price. And the service was great too. Thank you! Will be returning :)
First time here with my family of 5. Everything was great. The tostada was huge and delicious, the chile verde burrito was amazing. It’s hard to find true home made flavor in a chile verde at a restaurant, but this was great! We will definitely be back. The service is great too.
I’ve been coming here for years and it feels like home. The food is excellent with generous portions and a quality you can taste. The service is always impeccable with plates coming out in record time even when they are packed to the brim. The atmosphere most nights are that it is quiet and unassuming but in Tuesday’s it ramps up!
Last night was our first time at Casa Francos. Our server Miguel was great! My husband & I got the Carnitas Chimichanga dinner. It was so good! Carnitas very tender, beans were homemade, rice was good, nice portions of sourcream & guacamole. Margaritas were yummy. My only complaint, we ordered a Happy Hour carne asada taco & the meat was old & cold. We will definitely be back!
Very nice atmosphere. Super tasty food, we had the carnitas plate. It comes with Tortillas, rice, beans, and guacamole. The meat was very juicy and tender. The salsa is excellent. The rice and beans are very delicious. Will definitely return. Friendly, fast service as well. Very clean and comfortable.
Absolutely love this place and have been going for years. Their lobster enchiladas are probably a top 5 favorite dish of all-time. Everything on the menu is always great, friendly and great service. I have eaten at countless Mexican restaurants all over the country and this is my favorite of any sit-down Mexican restaurant. Love it!!!

It's rare that I stumble into a place that can impress me in all aspects, but this place got me! Most Mexican restaurants don't know that cheese can melt! The cheese inside my enchilada is actually melted and the flavor added is stupendous! The beans and rice are delicious as well. The shredded beef is juicy & tastes brilliant! The salsa and chips are a perfect flavor all their own and obviously fresh 😋 The enchiladas are much bigger than normal. I ordered 3, but can barely eat 2. DELICIOUS
First, the good news. The service was excellent. The food was ok. However, the prices were high compared to other nearby options. Also, they add a credit card surcharge which was not clear before I got the bill.

The service was great don't get me wrong. But the food was a bit lackuster for my liking. We got a wet burrito but the inside was drenched. It was almost as if they out a stew inside the burrito.

The food was sub-par. The service the same and the pricing was very high. I won’t go back there again and I’m a local resident.
