The place was ROCKIN' so you can tell that the food here is good. Unfortunately, they we're out of a few things, so make sure you go earlier in the morning, right after they open, to get the best choices.

Surfin Donuts in Mission Viejo is my go-to spot for breakfast in the area. The breakfast burritos and omelettes here are simply amazing--some of the best I've ever had. The flavors are incredible, and the salsa and hot sauce they provide are the perfect complement to their dishes. While the donuts are a bit on the pricey side, they're absolutely worth it--fresh, delicious, and always satisfying. However, I primarily come here for the unbeatable breakfast burritos and omelettes. If you're craving breakfast food or donuts, I highly recommend stopping by Surfin Donuts. It's a gem in Mission Viejo, and you won't be disappointed!

My friends took me here and promised great breakfast burritos but I had no clue my life was about to change forever. I strolled in and ordered the beast mode w/ avo and rolled my eyes thinking that it would be just as meh as every meat lovers pizza I’ve ever had but no. Have you ever seen a drop dead gorgeous person walking down the street and you have to do a double take because you aren’t sure if they’re even real? That’s what the first bite of the burrito was like. It’s like I went into a trance for the next 15 as I consumed that work of art. As I’m writing this now, days later I am having a hard time figuring out if I actually even ate there it feels like a dream. Highly recommend. Edit: It’s been a full year since I first met the Surfin’ Donuts breakfast burrito, and the emotional fallout continues. I still talk about it constantly — like a long-distance relationship that ended too soon. I’ve tried moving on, seeking comfort in other tortillas across countries and continents… but nothing compares. Nothing even comes close. And I’ll be honest: I’m worried about my future. One day I may have a wife, kids, maybe even a loyal family dog wagging its tail at the door. And yet… deep inside… I fear I will never be able to love them the way I loved that burrito. How do you tell your son that your heart was already spoken for? How do you look your dog in the eyes knowing he will never make you as happy as perfectly seasoned potatoes and melted cheese did? Therapists aren’t trained for this. So yes — life goes on. I laugh, I work, I pretend. But a part of my soul remains back in California, wrapped snugly in foil, waiting for me to return. One day, I will. And maybe then… I’ll finally be whole again.

This is my absolute favorite place to go to for breakfast burritos & donuts! The breakfast burritos are huge & incredibly delicious! Every donut I’ve had has been amazing & their donut holes taste like sugary clouds. Id also highly recommend their fresh squeezed orange juice. I love this place & come as often as I can for breakfast! 10/10 recommend!

Ok donuts, owner is weird. All of the donuts have different prices. They don’t sell them by the dozen. Someone needs to bring back European Donut Shops. Winchell’s donuts are better.

Normally this the go-to place for donuts and breakfast burritos for my wife and I but it's progressively worsened over time. Today my burrito with chorizo was so burnt I couldn't even finish it. Unfortunate because we love this place, hopefully it was just a bad day.

The order was incorrect. If an option is available and selected, it should be received with those selected options. I won't order from a place that can't get the order correct.

I order from this place all the time, they would substitute the bread for a donut at no additional cost. Loved that. I last ordered this successfully 3 days ago. 3 days later they are now trying to charge extra for the donut substitution. I called and was told that it is because they were doing this too often, and they would run out of donuts, so now they charge extra for this. Why not just make more donuts? Seems dumb. Lost me as a customer unfortunately.

My husband and I usually order from the other surfin' donuts (on Alicia/Trabuco) since it's closer to us. I made the mistake of putting my online order to this location, and boy was it a mistake. My husband went to go pick up our order and when he got it home, I opened my box up to find moldy bread (see photos). That is a LOT of mold. I don't understand how someone could have taken this piece of bread, toasted it, and not seen that much mold. Clearly upset, I called the restaurant to let them know and to get a refund because my husband and I were not going to eating anything after seeing this. I was told by the girl who answered the phone that the refund has to go through the manager, which is understandable. After agreeing to wait for manager approval, I receive a phone call through door dash. Apparently, the online ordering system goes through door dash so I had to speak with them regarding getting a refund. The man I spoke to through door dash then said he could only issue a refund for the plate and not the whole order since only the breakfast plate I ordered had mold on it. Someone, please make this make sense. If I'm served a slice of moldy bread, God only knows what else is going on behind that kitchen. So the door dash representative told me that I would need to go through the customer service survey to request a full refund. It really should not be this difficult to be refunded after being served spoiled food.
