This is a quick and fuss free falafel bar but it’s by no means of low quality/with poor service. Juana was really smiley and cheery and she makes you feel at ease and right at home! Pita breads were warmed up by Juana on the spot and falafels were freshly fried! The toppings/fillings were really nice and substantial — think chickpeas, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, roasted cauliflower, tomato x onion x cucumber salsa etc etc I had a pita falafel for only €6.9 and you are able to refill your pita as many times as you want!!! 😱 I am glad I found this on my first evening here as i will definitely be back :) Fun fact: ChatGPT recommended this place to me! 💯

The food here is so good. I feel like I should be eating the Spanish food but I keep coming back here to this falafel joint. The falafel is super fresh, moist and with a crispy outside. The salad bar for the topping is self serve and you can really load it up and everything I really good. If you are hungry come here. If you are on a budget come here. It is the most affordable, tasty meal I’ve had it Barcelona!

We went there to try a falafel place and were genuinely amazed by how delicious the food was. The concept is great—you pay for a bowl and can refill it for a very small additional cost, which makes it both unique and excellent value. Tasty, healthy, and satisfying food overall. I’m giving four stars for service, mainly because the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and wasn’t very eager to explain the ordering process. That said, it’s understandable given how busy the place was, and it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience.

I really liked the concept of filling ur own topping, and toppings were so good! Fries were mild.

Amazing sandwiches with famous Lebanese/Egyptian Falafel. You can fill your sandwich with many sauces, including Iraqi Amba, and many add-ons for free. It's a nice and cool place with a very kind man who serves with love.

If you are vegetarian or vegan this is the place to go! Even if you aren’t, this is the place to go. Great taste and variety in toppings. Food seems fresh. You can have unlimited toppings on your falafel or a one-time salad bowl with your own toppings. The sauces taste great. Fries are a great addition. Just loved the place and service so much that I came back thrice in 3 days. It’s open till late which really helps!

Honestly it’s the best meal Indian vegetarians can get no meat no eggs yet packs so much flavours and it’s not expensive. it’s open till late night at 1. Do try their meal combo and visit Anita Gelato post a hearty falafel sandwich.

This is a great vegan kebab. For a pretty cheap price you get to compose your own falafel, and trust me, at the end you'll be full. Vegetables are fresh and tasty. Fries are crispy and also very tasty. Sauces also - top flavor. I can't complain on a single thing. Total recommendation :)

Came here as a vegan and not a falafel lover and was WOWED! It’s an all you can eat, self serve falafel bar - the concept of which I loved! The ingredients are so varied and fresh. You can technically choose between hummus and baba ganoush but I asked the server for half and half, which was delish! The vegan aioli sauce was yum - suchhh a filling meal option.

Filling, delicious and fresh vegan falafel pita. Lady who served me was really nice too. For 5.90€, it comes with pita, hummus or baba ganoush spread, 3 big falafels and unlimited access to the salad bar. You get to stuff your pita or salad with as many ingredients as you want, which is my favourite part. The curry carrots are my favourite!

I've been here many times and I'm never disappointed. The cost of the pitta + some salad + hummus + falafel is 5'90€, and you can fill it up with any of the toppings they have at the salad bar for free (vegetables, legumes, sauces). The falafel is tasty and crispy, freshly made. Amazing food, great price and friendly staff, only problem is that it's very small, so if you want to eat inside you have to come early. (My personal advice is to ask it for takeaway and eat it at Ciutadella Park). Everything is suitable for vegetarians & vegans. I can't recommend it enough.

One of the best falafels I’ve ever had and all vegan. The unlimited topping bar has everything you could want to add in and all the sauces are vegan too. The fries are also so so good. Very good price and very filling.

Best falafel in the world. They have so many toppings and you get to fill up the toppings by yourself into the falafel. It’s busy and doesn’t have a lot of place to sit in. A lot of people get it to take out. But we sat there enjoyed it. We had fries as well. We went there twice in 3 days we liked it that much.

The food is amazing. The best part is that you can choose whatever bread you want to the ingredients in it. The falafel is also amazing and of big size! The meal is super cheap and worth it!!

Whichever city I am in that has a Maoz Vegetarian I never miss eating there. It's delicious, healthy, and super value for money. Fresh food at its best! Small but clean location right by La Rambla.

Generous quantity for the price of 5.50 euros for either a pita or a salad. Great for quick eats, though I would recommend taking it away rather than eating in (small). Salad bar is great and gas various choices from tomatoes, to coleslaw, spicy sauces, etc.

Best service, best falafel around! Came in 2016, and again in 2025. Still just as amazing. Will come back every time in Barcelona.

Best place for a quick, delicious meal. Love Maoz. So cheap and so diverse. The salad buffet is out of this world and all sauces ate vegan. I never thought I'd have such a great experience from a fast food place, but Maoz is something else.

Both the unlimited salad refill (if you go with a pitta) and the falafel bowl, are very tasty, a good price, and very healthy. Everything is also vegan, including the sauces.

Delicious falafel and salad. Love the fact it was 100% vegan. Wish I'd sat in and topped up my salad as it was unreal. Salad options were amazing. Ngl hummus wasn't the best but still very tasty for only 50c extra. Not much room to sit in but way better than every other falafel place I visited. Will definitely be back when I'm next I'm Barcelona.

If u r vegan or vegetarian a great spot for an Oriental snack with falafel & hummus plenty sauces choice. Personnel was plurilingual which was great & helpful. Absolutely enjoyed my Falafel Pitta & so many extras included in price without limit. Wide range of flavorful traditional sauces & veggies, chickpeas & marinade veggies. Space is tiny so rush hours must be hell. We were 5-6 people & taking sauces was stressful 😃 so arm yourself with patience as you will unlikely find this type of meals around.

The food is tasty, but the service experience is not pleasant at all. Waiting over 20 minutes because the sellers are doing a shift change seems to me improper. We bought 4 units but when I asked for another box of 10 grams of sauce I was refused. the service experience ruined the taste. We will not return to this place again nor we recommend. After all, this is a pita with 3 falafel balls and a salad for 5.90 euros, the usual amount is between 4 and 5 balls. So not cheap for the quantity you get.

Terrible food, apropriated food made in the worst way possible. The service is horrible, the owners are violent and rude. You're better off finding vegetarian options somewhere a bit more ethical.and there are many in Barcelona

I visited Maoz in early April and found it to be a fairly average lunch experience overall. The food was okay — not bad, but nothing particularly memorable either. Flavors were mild, and presentation was simple. If you're looking for something quick and familiar, it might suit you, but don’t expect anything standout. The seating area is quite limited, which made the place feel a bit cramped. It’s not ideal if you’re coming with a group or hoping for a relaxed meal. Service was also just average. Staff were polite but not especially attentive or engaging. Orders took longer than expected. Overall, Maoz is okay for a quick bite if you’re in the area, but it may not be worth going out of your way for.
