Tavern29 New York Reviews
Our group did brunch on a busy Sunday morning. The food was very good but the service was even better. Sebastian was our server and he went above and beyond to make sure our table was having a good time. I would definitely come back again!
Absolutely amazing experience! We were seated immediately, the booth we got was painted with a cute mural and covered in pink roses. Our server Patrick was amazing, he went above and beyond, and he was funny and kept us laughing our entire brunch. Food was amazing and we already agreed we will be returning. FYI whatever they are paying Patrick isn't enough! Give him a raise!
This place just got transformed in terms of service, food and vibes. The new owner of this place Peter is very good and jolly person. Sports are live at place with sound and atmosphere is very live and food was fantastic. A must visit Bar and Restaurant with friends and family. The new owner is fantastic he efforts to takes of the guest personally is fantastic. And food is the mouth watering and just fantastic.
Perfect brunch spot. This pub was a great last minute find. I recommend making a reservation for table seating. We sat at the bar, which was perfectly fine. Leo was the best host! The playlist in the restaurant was the perfect blend. Don’t leave without trying the breakfast burger!
Went to the rooftop to celebrate my friend's 23rd birthday on the 25th of May and we had a blast! The food was delish and the mimosas while they're not my cup of tea, I did enjoy the 2 sips I did take. It was a beautiful day so the rooftop was full of people just having a good time but we were still able to converse within each other without yelling. The staff was great! They were on their A-game. If we needed anything they got us! Definitely coming back 😁😁😁
Fantastic bar/restaurant in Rose Hill, Manhattan! Awesome Biergarten on the top floor and the service is excellent. Thank you to the manager Peter who was beyond kind and hospitable! Friendly staff and bartenders, and the food was delicious as well! Great spot for group parties or get-together with friends. 10/10
Great vibe and excellent service! Has a very personal feel and attention to detail. Was fortunate to meet the proprietor a wonderful chap! Cheers!
Popped in for lunch on a Tuesday. Didn't expect beautifully presented, tasty food - but that's what we got. Fast, attentive service. The wings are recommended!
What an AMAZING experience! My Partner and I had brunch, with Kaila as our waitress, and everything was SPECTACULAR!! We had the Buffalo Chicken Dip as an appetizer, which was out-of-this-world! My Partner is from Upstate NY, so we know our Chicken Dip, and this held up! The California Chicken Sandwich and the Breakfast Burger were both great and the portions were huge and definitely worth the value. Kaila's service was especially noteworthy. She was attentive, informative, and just all around fantastic. We had a really great Saturday from getting to dine with her, and we're really grateful for her service. Can't wait to come back!
Melanie took amazing care of us! Great vibe, friendly staff, and overall wonderful experience. The food and drinks were delicious.
Always a good time when we have a private event upstairs !
I just had a birthday celebration at Tavern 29. I couldn’t be more pleased! They were so accommodating and friendly! They allowed myself and 40 guests to celebrate in the upstairs area. It was clean and spacious! I highly recommend Tavern 29 for your future events!
Haven’t tried their food but the beer selection is really good and the atmosphere is dope
My friend and I came here for brunch. We had such an amazing experience. Ivy is the best bartender in NYC. She was so attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Our food came out quickly and she always made sure we had refills. Best bottomless brunch experience we’ve ever had. I highly recommend!
Our server Melanie was so kind and attentive. She made the experience a lot better. Would definitely recommend for the happy hour as the cocktails and food was great
Tavern 29 is a gem that truly stands out in the bustling restaurant scene. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm ambiance that set the tone for a delightful evening. The highlight of our visit, without a doubt, was the exceptional service provided by our server, Eddy. Eddy was nothing short of amazing. He was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about the restaurant's offerings. His recommendations were spot on, and he made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. Eddy's passion for service shone through in every interaction, enhancing our dining experience significantly. The food at Tavern 29 complemented the service beautifully. Each dish we tried was crafted with care, bursting with flavor, and presented elegantly. Whether it was a succulent entrée or a decadent dessert, everything was top-notch. Overall, Tavern 29 is a must-visit for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. With exceptional service led by Eddy and a delectable menu, it’s a place where you're sure to enjoy every moment. We can’t wait to return!
Came here on a weekday bc my friend won a z100 contest for free drinks. The rooftop is sooooooooooooo nice, loved the vibe! We had the sliders with truffle parmesean fries and the buffalo chicken dip and both were AMAZING! I had the War of Roses to drink and it was delicious. Had to go inside to use the bathroom and the ambiance inside is beautiful! Will definitely be coming back!!
LOVED my experience here. My friend and I got the bottomless mimosas for $25 each. I got the Benedict with crab cakes and it was delicious. My friend got the breakfast burger and it was also tasty! The service was amazing! What lovely people. I enjoyed speaking with the staff here. This place also has 3 floors where the third floor is outdoors! What a vibe! Would recommend this place to my friends!
Topher was amazing!! Incredible service and even better food! Recommend you all try!
I came here for brunch yesterday with friends. It was nice to try a different place! We did bottomless brunch - the food and drinks were great. Definitely will come back here. Also, shoutout to our server Mikaela! She was adorable and so sweet.
I visited on Saturday, and the experience was outstanding from beginning to end. Our server, Melanie, was incredibly attentive and friendly. She recommended the Tavern Burger, and we haven’t stopped thinking about it since. I couldn’t recommend this place more!
This is a must try, amazing service, great food and strong drinks! New to the East Coast from Texas, couple of friends visiting from Mexico so I decided to take them to a true NYC style brunch, got on Google and reviewed every single bottomless brunch I was able to find and voila, not disappointed at all. Food was great, drinks were great, ambiance was great, service was beyond amazing (our server was the blonde-long haired guy behind the bar… not to mention handsome haha)
Just had an open bar here for my birthday with 26 friends and everyone had a blast! The staff was so nice and more than accommodating. Food was delicious. Drinks were fantastic. Fabulous bartenders. Dj was awesome. The manager, Dominic, was so nice, and made sure my party was comfortable and having a great time. Would love to have another event here in the future and would recommend to anyone!
Amazing brunch - might even be the best brunch in NYC. Huge portions, and you can tell it’s high quality food. Sat outside on the roof in December…the roof was enclosed and heaters were on. Unlimited mimosas for $25, and they keep filling them up and giving you large bottles to refill yourself.
For $25, the bottomless mimosas are a good deal if you're a quick drinker. And they are taaaasty. It can get a bit busy up there, so service can be a little slow, but if you catch their attention quick enough you'll get your money's worth. Adding the ambience of sitting outside on a little rooftop, and it makes for a nice boozy brunch option. No complaints on the eggs benny or the tavern burger. Both were well above average and amply sized. Would go again.
Went here late night on a Friday. Not too crowded but the beer selection amazed me. Not a lot of places in the city can you find Hill Farmstead. For any beer snobs out there that shows you they care. The bar tender cared too, she was knowledgeable about the beer and let me sample 3 or 4. Definitely a place to check out if you love beer.
My wife and i went here last night as a last resort after another rooftop dining restaurant turned out to be underwhelming. The other place was barely a rooftop and had a very limited menu. We ordered drinks and left quick. Luckily on open table I found this place and it was lovely. This is what you call dinner is what we said to each other when there. The music selection playing overheard was a great choice to play. The food was delicious. Not greasy or messy and although it wasn’t a big menu they had a wide array of options for everyone. The alcohol selection was great as well. The service was very attentive and accommodating when my wife asked to move tables. I also liked that they had balloons everywhere, not sure why, but it made my wife’s birthday feel better. Overall we were more than happy to finish the night with this Restuarant.
I’ve been to Tavern 29 several times and it’s always a good time. The bar occupies the entire building which was formerly a private firehouse. It’s beautifully built out with a bar on every floor, nice booths and lovely chandeliers on every interior floor and a very cute rooftop surrounded by exposed brick walls and adorned with murals. Most recently, we were served by Christine on the rooftop and my party loved her. She was fun, attentive and got our orders just right. Great bar for the area and definitely worth a visit!
My son and I stopped by Saturday afternoon to have lunch. The atmosphere was very nice. We ordered buffalo wing appetizers, he ordered the chicken sandwich and the steak sandwich was recommended to me by our waitress Ivy. The food was really good and the service was even better. Ivy was very personable and offered great customer service. I would definitely recommend this place and we will be stopping by again.
Promised I would give Tavern 29 and Larkin 5 stars, so here they are! We stopped in hoping to get up to the rooftop section, but it was too early in the day. Ordered a Snakebite, but the CO2 lines were causing the staff some difficulty, so I couldn't get the beer I ordered. The EggBLT made up for that deficit - so good! I took the 2nd half home and heated it up for breakfast the next day. All of the staff we saw were very attractive. Is that a requirement to work there? I'm not complaining about that fact, adds to the vibe, for certain.
We hosted a dinner at Tavern 29 last night and it was a wonderful experience. The rooftop had a fun vibe & gave us the perfect New York City backdrop for photos. Will and Ivy took great care of us and made sure our event was seamless. The food was delicious - I loved the salmon and dessert tray. We will definitely be back!
Nice quaint spot for a lunch date or business meeting, especially if you’re on a timetable. Great location on the Eastside, close proximity to public transportation and affordable parking. Our server was attentive. We sat at the bar, and our server was the bartender, which was cool because the service was quick. As a New Yorker, one can just tell that this place is probably equally turned up at the right time too. The way the bar is situated in the center of the room and the booths on the ourskirts may have caused me to pre-judge the room 😆 I dunno! Either scenario or not, I support it, and I would definitely return for either. A little pricey ($136 for 2 ppl), but the food and drinks were excellent taste and preparation wise.
Food was great and place is nice! The only thing I didn’t like and confused me was that we didn’t get a check before paying but the waitress came directly to charge us the total on the card… at the end she asked if we wanted a copy… but I don’t need a copy of the total paid if I can’t see each charge… that felt shady and I really hate it when they do it… we gave 15% tip and left with a strange feeling the place was overpriced when we went there for happy hour… while I do recommend the place, I advice you to ask for a full receipt before paying or you might be taken advantage of!
At first glance, the immediate impression of Tavern 29 is that it is a fancy sports bar. However, it doesn't take long to realize that it is much more. With 2 expansive floors and a rooftop beer garden, elegant decor, and intimate nooks scattered about, Tavern 29 is laid back enough for the low-key patron who just wants a simple, no-fuss meal while watching the game but also sophisticated enough for the dressed-up patron looking for a nicer experience. Brunch is offered every day from 11 to 4, and for $25, you can get a carafe of a mimosa, bloody mary, or bellini.
i really do appreciate the portion sizes here :) came here for brunch and lunch and have loved it!! i sweet potato fries are seriously sooooo coils and i think it’s definitely worth the extra charge. the egg wrap is also amazing for brunch. i feel like i got a bunch of bug bites sitting there (indoors) for a while though but that’s probably just a personal problem.
I LOVE everything about the is place. From the decor, to the food. That calamari…wow! And it was fried so perfectly and it paired so well with their sweet chili sauce! The staff and service was good. Very friendly and efficient. We came in rather late one evening, so it had more of the after work crowd. I can’t wait to come back.
Good food, great quantities and open air seating is also available (with tons of indoor seating across 2 floors). I had the California chicken sandwich and it came with a side of fries and was pretty good and had great quantity. I had to take back half of my sandwich. The yuca fries were also pretty good. They also have a bar on the middle floor and have wine, beer and some cocktails.
Visited NYC for Ryder Cup 2025 and stayed at Royalton Park Ave. Tavern 29 is right across the street and we visited three straight days for food, drink and sports. Jose at the bar was amazing. He poured great drinks and took amazing care of us. If you need some food or drink while catching the days games, this is the place. *The pretzel was the best food and Jose makes a great Manhattan & Cosmo.
Nice rooftop for a happy hour after work! Hosted a networking event for 30 people and the space was nice with the weather being cooler after raining for a bit. The event manager was very easy to talk to to coordinate this :) Would come back again to try their happy hour food deals next time since I was too busy yesterday.
We came in late wanting some food with a complicated egg allergy, our server Max was absolutely amazing! So informative and friendly. Great atmosphere in the bar and lovely food. Moved to the bar after eating, bar staff equally very lovely :)
Came in with a few people during happy hour on a Friday and had a few drinks at the bar. Margaritas were amazing, we loved the vibe of the place, super attentive staff (shoutout to the bartender), and clean! We did not have any food so I cannot speak on it, but it looked and smelled very good from what we saw! Would recommend checking it out.
Tavern29 delivers a delightful brunch experience with a warm ambiance and consistently delicious dishes. Plus, their seven-day-a-week happy hour, featuring a variety of drink deals, makes it a prime spot to unwind.
I stopped by this bar recently and was honestly impressed. The cocktails are legit — I had a Moscow Mule and it was perfectly balanced. The burgers are a must-try: juicy, flavorful, and cooked right. I also tried the lobster ravioli and the quesadilla — both were surprisingly good and worth ordering. The atmosphere inside is beautiful and well-decorated. It feels cozy but stylish, and the space is kept clean, which I really appreciate. Special shoutout to the bartender, Misha. He immediately understood the kind of drinks we liked and nailed the flavors without us over-explaining. Super friendly, professional, and attentive — he definitely made the experience even better. Overall, great food, great cocktails, and great service. Definitely recommend stopping by — especially for the burgers and Moscow Mule.
Had a great time at Tavern29! We gathered for a friend’s birthday lunch, and the place had such a warm, welcoming vibe—you never feel rushed to finish and leave. I had one of the best medium-cooked steaks I’ve had in a while—perfectly done and seasoned just right. Full of flavor and cooked exactly how I like it. The atmosphere was relaxed and not too loud, so it was easy to have a real conversation without shouting. Definitely a great spot for gatherings, good food, and chill conversation. Will be back!
Matt was amazing for the brunch it was crazy in here but he held it down will definitely be coming back 2 hours bottomless brunch love and the food was amazing buffalo dip and the wings ❤️💕 I just need to come back and add that this place is so welcoming and friendly and I love it here my new favorite place to come #1
Came for a rooftop brunch, unfortunately due to the heavy rain, the rooftop was closed....Was seated by the bar. Great service from every one especially our server/bartender. Wings were on point - my sandwich was enormous and delicious. Bottomless brunch, is so worth it! Mimosas are so good - Definitely felt the drinks.... saw the bartender making the pitcher (literally one drop of orange juice and the rest was champagne)
Met some friends here to chat and eat. Unlimited bevs for brunch is never a downside. After we were done eating downstairs, we moved to the rooftop which was a really cool vibe. Not too crowded, music playing, shade from the sun. Ordered some more apps upstairs too. Loved the wings (bbq) and the fries. I believe there are three floors in total, however no one was using the second floor except a group of people who were watching soccer. They had awesome energy too!
Sunday Brunch - atmosphere was good. Wait staff wore masks. Food was tasty & a good size. My only problem was the "unlimited" booze - was limited for non regulars. Its non stop for the regulars the waitress knew. She also just assumed we were ready to go after eating. She never asked if we were ok, didn't ask if theres anything else we want to order. Nothing. Just brought us our check. So other than her attitude, everything else was fine.
Their rooftop is one of the best ones I've been to... Obviously not for the views but just for the setup. Every time I hang out here, it feels like Spiderman would show up from the buildings right behind this bar. Sounds stupid or rubbish? Check it out yourself! Service is always excellent here and I've been to this place over a dozen times, every summer!
Went here to watch a March Madness basketball game because we heard they had outdoor seating with TVs. This place did not disappoint! We were able to make a reservation and were seated on the rooftop with all members of my group able to see the tv screens. We ordered a pitcher of beer and three of us got the Mac and cheese (would highly recommend).
(Last visited 1/1/2023.) After celebrating New Year's Even in NYC, it's time to start the year off right, with mo' drankin'! Lol. We booked a brunch here at Taven29 because we loved it so much last time. Here's why! Atmosphere/Appearance: It's exactly a Tavern. They didn't lie in the name. Lol. Lots of light woods with a light, bubbly atmosphere. There are TVs behind the bar you can check out if you're here for a sporting event. Up front they have these super cute alcoves that you can sit in where you feel like you're separated from the rest of the restaurant. We sat here on our first visit, but at the bar on our 2nd. Service: I can't remember who took care of us either time, but we have never had an issue here, especially with having our bottomless mimosas refilled! Food: I've only had the wings here and I love them. Simple, straight to the point. The mimosas are also made to order so if you want light juice, just ask! We love that! Value: This place won't break the bank at all. Which is why it's so appealing. In conclusion, you'll likely see me here again! Make sure you check this place out if you're looking for a good brunch!
This is probably a place for groups to gather and have bottomless cheap drinks. The food is lacking flavor or character. The drinks are fair. The service is truly awful. I took a picture at noon on a Sunday showing the lack of any employee in the dining room, which was the case for most of the time. The fries are good but the rest of our food was not good.
Only giving this place 3 stars because of the food. The food was good and what saved them in my book, but the service was horrible. Slow service, orders getting mixed up or coming out late (my entree came out before the appetizer 😫), bills getting mixed up, some people in my party didn't get their food until everyone finished eating their entrees! and of course since we were outside it was nippy (the heater above us didn't help at all) They definitely need to work on their service asap! Especially on the weekends when that is when the volumes are the highest!
Cute rooftop once you trek up two flights. I'd imagine pretty boring for a night function, a music is nearly obsolete. Service was certainly unimpressive. Had no clue which person helping us was our server. Water glasses are the size of Listerine bottle cap. Food is okay, pretty bland for the ingredients said to be used. They tried saying they charge for substitutes AND remove original. And took so long for our bill, we paid at the bar. Eh. Typical NYC experience.
This is an okay place. Food was hit or miss. Sliders that my friends ordered were good, as were the parm fries. The lamb burger however was ultra dry. It was hard to eat and honestly not worth the $22. It was even slightly burnt and had a charred taste to it. My friends ordered medium rare sliders and it came out medium. Not a huge disservice (it's close enough), but we had a large party so they probably cooked en mass. Wine was a bit overpriced at $12 a glass - there wasn't a lot. Cocktails were amazing - definitely give the cocktails a try! Other than the kitchen mishaps, staff was extremely friendly so we tipped well. I hope they improve next time!!
Not the best experience for a Saturday night. Made reservations for a party of 8 at 8pm, and was seated on the rooftop in a very timely manor. There were 6 other large parties also on the rooftop, with at least 35 people in total, but only one server between all of them. They were very understaffed to the point where it took over 15 minutes just for me to receive a soda. The server was trying her best but was clearly frustrated with the large number of patrons. For the price of the food being fairly high, the quality was not bad. The appetizers were the only issue, offering very large amounts of dip but only a handful of chips to eat it with leaving more to be desired. The bar was crowded on the middle level making it difficult to reach the bathrooms without pushing through what resembled a mosh pit. As for social distancing, there are a few measures in place but nobody was enforcing them. I would not recommend this place on a weekend unless you are in college and are looking for more of party/social atmosphere and less of a restaurant, as the attention was mostly on drinks and the bar. This business is not handicap accessible with 3 floors, with decent bathrooms.
Spacious 3 level bar restaurant. No happy hour on the rooftop which sucks because it doesn't make sense to separate the rooftop, since it doesn't have a street view just vertical view of the buildings. The waitress stated she was new but I didn't get the vibe she wanted to serve she barely checked on us, offered no suggestions on food or drink and took a long time to bring check even after asking. The food was tasty absolutely loved the yucca fries! The calamari & wings were good too only issue one of the wings had alot of feathers on it, i can understand a few fine ones you can peel the skin but this one was thick I didn't know how it was missed. Overall not a bad experience just nothing to make me want to return.
I came for brunch and my honest opinion, it wasn't my favorite. The bottomless brunch was good, the mimosas came in at a decent time and the rooftop was pretty and shaded with its own bar. But my meal, the Chicken and Biscuits specifically, was not it for me and made my friend and I's stomach hurt. The gravy mixed with the egg was just not a good mix. The flavor profile was not an appetizing mix. The French toast my other friend had looked great though, so I would go with that if you do end up coming through. Staff was cool, I just really took issue with that specific dish. I might come back for the rooftop, but as far as brunch goes, just okay. Maybe I just need to try the right dish. Tips: Rooftop not handicap accessible; 2 flights of stairs required Handicap Accessible bathroom on first floor, though a bit of a tight fit. Ladies--check out the posters in the bathroom, they were interesting to read!
Came here for a bday brunch. The waitress was not a warm vibe. We waited 30 mins for water and our drinks, we did bottomless brunch. When we were to place the order the waitress said "what do you want". Was not very warming or friendly. Some of the food was great and half was blah. The chicken and waffles where cardboard. I probably wouldn't come back here for brunch. The waitress then became friendly and tried to make conversation when we are paying the tab
Food was really upsetting. We ordered the biscuits (see picture) but they were just deplorable. The fries were actually very good. Service is ok, but definitely veeeeeeery casual. This place may only get business because they offer boozy brunch ($25 for 2 hours). That’s probably the only reason.
Do not recommend this place if you’re coming for vibes. The brunette server on the top outdoor floor was probably the most rude person I have met. Service was slow with very little people here. Food was good but not coming again.
I ordered the Sriracha honey chicken wings and the sauce was good. However, the wings were WAY TOO CRISPY to even bite into them and I HAD HAIR ON THE WINGS!!! They don’t clean their chicken properly. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles but her chicken was completely burnt!! Also, the water there taste absolutely terrible. It’s like something is in the water and it tastes bad. It’s undrinkable. The basket of fries was delicious so I enjoyed that.
I want to highlight the reviews regarding the service. As soon as we sat down the waitress at the rooftop with the highlights was sooooooo rude. She was nasty and just so unfriendly and unprofessional. If you hate your job get a new one. Terrible demeanor and left a bad impression on the place. Place overall is fine but the rooftop is very lame. There are plenty of other rooftops with an actual view. Food was actually not bad.
Pretty damn poor experience. Waiters immediately were stone cold. Rooftop layout is suffocated by buildings. No water, no thank you, beer was skunked and the food was a soft 3/10. Head over to Wolfe tonnes, John Devoys or turnmill if you need a pleasent pint in the area
This place has potential but can’t keep up with heavy influx of people. I was given my receipt without being done with my meal or drink (party of 2 by someone who wasn’t even our waiter!!!) At 1pm on a Thursday, he said “it’s getting busy and we need the space” There were other people there who were there before me but it seems they were more valuable customers… I asked if my hair wasn’t blonde enough and my original waiter said he’d “talk to the manager” Was planning on having a corporate Christmas party here but I was so disgusted I decided on opting out. I do not recommend. Had the burger, 2/5 & truffle fries 3/5. This place is okay for a quick drink but do not come to have a good time. Just a quick fix.
Worst dining experience I had. There was confusion all around. Our order and drinks was taken and when we received our drinks nobody came by to check on us again. Had to go to the bar to order another round of drinks because we still haven’t received our food. I ordered two drinks and only received one and he left, came back and asked I still wanted my other drink. Found out the bartender was our waiter and our order was taken by a bus boy. When we finally received our food, the wings were cold and we got charged for truffle fries when we never received after being told it would be taken off. Just an overall bad experience when large groups after us were receiving their food in shorter times versus a party of 3.
Had a brunch reservation for Saturday. Sat us down 25 mins in no server came for an order ! After another 20 mins we decided to leave. Total 45 mins no one attended us. Plus there were only 2 servers, really felt bad for them. The management needs to do better ! Saturday BRUNCH please have more than 2 servers.
By far the worst service I’ve experienced in New York. I’m surprised if they get any tips at all. If you book tables they’ll give it away before you get there. If you’re on a table they’ll clear you for someone else. Sad because it is a nice looking bar. Just needs new ownership and way better staff and it could be alright. There is a great bar 2 doors down. Do yourself a favor, bypass Tavern 29 and go straight there.
The staff was very rude. We waited for about 15-20 minutes to be seated because there was a sign that said please wait to be seated. We finally saw someone that could help and asked him if we could be seated and he said “the upstairs is closed” and turned away. We then asked about the downstairs as it was open and he said “yeah whatever sit wherever” and walked away. We decided not to give them any business considering how rude they were to us.
We had 11:15 brunch reservations. Door was locked at 11. Weal led and banged on the door. Eventually an employee opened and said none of the crew showed up for work, so sorry, no brunch for you. 🙁 We went over and had a lovely brunch at Tara Rose
NOT WORTH IT!! AND FOOD POISONING! The appetizers we're ok but very small portions, I got the salmon and when i tell you I was throwing up that next morning with a terrible stomach ache, the portions we're too small and the server got the check confused and was about to let us walk out without our change.
Don’t recommend ordering takeout here. Ordered a buffalo chicken dip appetizer for $18 which seemed high but the photo online sold us. This is what we got (soda can for reference of size). It included about 12 small, stale, tortilla chips and this almost half empty cup of dip. Tasted fine but we kinda feel jipped.
My best friend and I work in the area . So we decided to go after work and have something to eat. We’ve been there before and enjoyed it. This time around not so much. We were seated in the rooftop & order the sliders. My friend could seen the bar back/cool with our dish carrying on a conversation. Finally our food came and it was cold, we made him aware and his response was that’s how we serve it. Okay.... after seeing our facial expressions & asking really? We’ve been here before and had this same dish. He decided to take it. We don’t usually like to making a big fuss about things we work in the hospitality industry but the food was cold! Then the server brings over our food, we start eating and realize the meat isn’t cooked property or at least to our liking. We bring it up to her attention and she says oh I put it in that way. OKAY?! but not once were we asked for the temperature of the meat on the sliders! After that we just decided to let it be and asked for the check. It was whatever to her like if we were the issue or being a headache. The place wasn’t busy to even say okay maybe due to the volume of customer. After this I don’t think we will go back nor recommend this location to any of our guest.
