Chipotle Oakhurst Reviews
I saw this Chipotle was rated only a 3.2 stars. I was slightly worried but as soon as I walked in I was greeted by friendly faces and they loaded up my bowl too! Everyone was so nice and I will definitely probably not be coming back, but not because it lacked anything. As a matter of fact it was one of the best Chipotle experiences I’ve ever had. I don’t live anywhere near so I will likely not return but I wish I could!
Special shout out to Bobby The Cook and Thomas the Roller! Yearly I visit Yosemite from LA and this was the first time my family and I decided to stop for chipotle! Restaurant is extremely clean not even a single crumb was on any table. The cook was getting down on the grill and Thomas was an amazing server/roller/cashier. They’re always short staffed and manage to hold it down! They’re deserve a raise if they can’t get them more help! The food quality is amazing hardly any fat on the meat! I’m definitely going to make a routine to stop by at this specific chipotle when I’m in town! Thank you gentlemen for making me feel like a regular in oakhurst!!
Having watched several restaurants open over the years and working the bugs out at the beginning, I think a lot of the early reviews should be viewed in that context and this location got a bit of a raw deal. I haven't been to a Chipotle in years and was excited to have one open in Oakhurst. I ordered a bowl with salad, rice, beans, carnitas and smoked briscuit and was serviced quickly and with courtesy. The portions were plenty for this guy and the food was fresh and very tasty and at a decent price....well decent for California where McDonalds is a $20 meal. My bowl and a soda was $21. I've got 132,000,000, yes 132 million views on my Google maps reviews and pics. I'm fair with my opinion and I recommend giving this location a shot, or a second chance if you went early on, right after they opened....

Paid $20 for a chicken bowl and kids meal. Very good food and kind workers.
Went in for takeout, served right away by a gentleman named Thomas who was absolutely outstanding. They gave me a burrito that was massive. It was delicious. Burritos were great for the price. 10/10 will dine again.
I only got a drink. Cannot comment on the food, but I experienced an unfortunate mishap here. The staff handled the situation very professionally and very kindly. While their menu isn't necessarily my cup of tea, if you like this kind of food, definitely come here and show the staff some kindness. They work hard, and I can tell that they care.
Visited from out of town and stopped in for a quick bite after a 6 hr hike in Yosemite. If you're looking for friendly service and delicious food, this Chipotle is worth a visit. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were absolutely fantastic. Thanks from Philly
Came to this chipotle when it first opened, and like other reviews I didn’t have a good experience. I read some newer reviews and was compelled to give it another go and I have to say, a lot has changed! Previously the portions were small, but they’re a lot bigger now. Food was cold previously, now it’s nice and hot. Service was slow previously, now it’s super fast, with my orders usually waiting for me when I arrive. Things have definitely improved! Seriously, try it again.

Awesome quick and tasty food. Friendly staff and enough quantity. For Asians one bowl could be enough for 2 🙂

Came late on a Saturday night and while there was quite a line, all the employees were working as quickly as possible, were friendly and were keeping up with fresh food to supply the orders. Portions for the protein were a bit smaller than other Chipotle’s we’ve been to but things tasted fine and it was overall a decent experience.

Service is five stars, today anyways. Everybody was nice and very polite. Leadership definitely needs to step it up. . . . Here’s why: noSofritos, you can tell the cleaning is lacking. Just look at any of the appliances, walls or furniture in the restaurant. Food is OK, but I don’t wanna hear excuses about the truck is coming tomorrow if you are out of a product. . .
Im sorry to say, but this establishment needs better management. Their available food choice in the evening is poor quality. Their protein selection at time is all dried out. It doesn't look appetizing. One time, Their white rice was way undercooked. They don't keep up worthy the fajita tray. I called the restaurant to speak to a manager. It could not be done. Everything is automated and is just tells you to go to their website and place a complaint.

My wife and I love Chipotles, but the Oakhurst spot is very weak. We went there shortly after it opened and it seemed to be very poorly managed. That was awhile ago so we decided to try it again tonight. Again the plastic knives were out of stock, although I did manage to find one mixed into forks. The onions were down to a few dried out scraggles, so I passed. When we sat down to eat, our burrito was cold. I mean cold. I’m over it. I won’t try this location again.
consistently portions seem to get smaller and smaller it seems like they are understaffed so give small portions to not have to cook more food or dont have backups ready in time so short the portions in order to buy them time i will say staff is always nice
Someone needs to remind the staff that Chipotle opens at 10:30am you know like their supervisor???Went in at 10:30am they weren’t ready, had to wait about 8 mins. They were pulling food from the frig to serve? I thought their food was fresh, well not this restaurant. The meat was cold, too! The staff is only passable at service. In other words terrible. The servings are small. When I asked for a little more meat, the girl scolded me and said I’d have to pay extra, I replied OK. The staff albeit are present, seemed as though they were concerned, I’m assuming , with the lunch crowd and not the 3 patron’s in front of them. Also, the handicap parking is around the building to make room for the four of the six parking spots up front for online delivery. I’ve only ever seen them empty and at noon mostly the same. Key observation: the wait staff can certainly walk around the building for online orders and leave the front spots for handicap parking. Whomever has franchised this spot is doing an awful job. Probably won’t return again.

My food wasn’t good at all. It was cold. My beans were hard still and my chips in my bag were very stale like they’ve been out since yesterday. The staff was super friendly and nice. I paid 2097 for a stupid burrito that wasn’t even satisfying I would like a refund.
We waited for a long time to place an order. The staff are not helpful, and the portion sizes are very small. Carnitas was so so bas. It didn’t look like carnitas, attached photos of a carnitas order
Unfortunately we went there for lunch and the service was terrible. The kid in the back was eating while chopping onions and when the guacamole wasn’t ready way after opening she said it would take a long time. Was literally ready before we left which we would have waited for honestly, and this was after we ordered door dash last night and only received half of a bowl. This was my third and final chance because the first time I went we sat at the window for twenty minutes.
Got there at about 6:30pm on Friday night they only had carnitas and the shredded beef. They barely put any meat in my boyfriend’s burrito, what I had ordered was a carnitas burrito and ended up with a rice burrito. Very disappointing.

This is what I would imagine a Chipotle would be like in a 3rd world country. First off, I waited in the Chipotlane for over 10 minutes without any acknowledgment. When I finally got my food, the same burrito I have gotten 100 times, it was half the size I have gotten from other stores. It even seemed to be missing the salsa. I've never had this problem, it looks like a real Chipotle but it is not. Me and my family will never come back. Don't eat here unless you are really hungry.
This was extremely frustrating! I ordered two burritos and a side of chips and salsa and the ONLY thing I got was the chips and salsa. How do you mess up an order that bad, the burritos were the main part of the meal and they were completely missing. I paid for food and basically got nothing. I was left hungry and frustrated and had to deal with this for no reason. Really disappointing experience.
Waitied in the chipotlane for 20 minutes, 10 of which I was at the window, WITH 0 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. As i sit waiting, i see my $30 order already prepared, and waiting on the shelf. Surely getting cold, and sweaty. The window person finally acknowledges me, and hands me my food. I get home to find out he gave me half of my order, half of someone elses, and didn’t give me the queso I paid for. I continue to come here, because I enjoy the food, but the service is an absolute 0 for me.
I experienced poor, unprofessional service this evening while I tried to make an order inside of the restaurant. My experience was so unpleasant I canceled my order and took my business to a different restaurant. I would recommend checking out any other restaurant in town other than this one! (My experience was with a girl who claimed to be a manager. She wore glasses.) This was on 9/22/25.
