Bleeding Heart Brewery, warm and bright, Great beer, great food, from day to night. A place to gather, laugh, and stay, With friends and pints that make your day. The taps run smooth, the vibes run strong, Every visit feels just right, never wrong. An amazing spot to meet your crew, Share a drink or two. And down the road, Magnetic North stands proud, Talking smack just a little too loud 😜 But it’s all love, just friendly cheer, Two great breweries bringing Alaska good beer. Cheers to Bleeding Heart, first-class all the way, I’ll be back soon🍻

Great brews, delicious food, and chill vibes. Bleeding Heart has a lot of places to sit, a mini library, and uses local coffee and berries to flavor their drinks. Our favorites were the “grounds for divorce” coffee stout and the “mommy issues” sour. My husband got a CBR sandwich with a generous side of the soup, while I had the soup as my meal. The spicy sausage, bacon, and kale soup was soothing after a long Alaskan hike.

Stopped in as AK tourists deciding to check out a place that looked a little more interesting then the usual Brewpub... very impressed with the vibe. Nice outdoor patio but we ate inside. Warning the root beer is the sassafras variety so our kids were a little taken aback. I had the chicken salad it was great though a bit spicy, see why they serve the dressing on the side but I went all in. My wife got the Peruvian chicken which was great. My son's a mac and cheese Aficionado and he really liked the bacon mac and cheese. My son got the CBR and said quote "it was really good actually". So this place is a bit more pricey than some other places but the food was delicious. Beers a little more limited in variety than other places, great to support the local Brewery.

One of the most unique and extensive beer selections I’ve seen in Palmer, Alaska! It’s a super creative, welcoming space with great vibes. They offer tasty food, custom-made clothing, and locally roasted coffee—and the crowd is so friendly. Highly recommend! I feel lucky to have discovered this gem. Plus, I scored a vintage mechanic’s shirt with the Bleeding Heart Brewery logo and a technician’s name. ✌️🫀🍻

Fun, creative decor with a funky vibe. Eclectic style that made you feel right at home. I had the Sasquatch beer and prosciutto mac & cheese. Both were delicious. They even had some unusual beers like the beet beer. It was actually really good, and I don’t like beets.

Support your local Brewers! We had the Valley Trash: Dirty Blonde (unfiltered blond with Kolsch yeast) on the left and Mommy Juice (Imperial hard seltzer aged in a Cognac barrel) on the right. What an amazing place! We have driven past many times but our timing was always off. GREAT place to relax and tell lies about your adventures on the many beautiful trails in the area. Big enough for weddings, events and end of year parties. Many stained glass and rustic furniture art works on display for purchase. Support Local Artists too. The menu(see pictures for beer, cider and food menus as of 04May25, May the Fourth be with you) So glad we finally made it in here, Looking forward to many more visits. The outdoor seating and bike friendly parking is particularly appealing to outdoor adventure. I can see planning a gran fondo around stopping here on the way out and back. The open layout is conducive to many small groups of 10 to eight sharing the space without gettting loud. The laid back folksie music sets the vibe while the Knick-nacks and signage from bygone days in the Mat-Su valley take you back to times when the pace of life was a little slower. A quick head count showed about 50 people, at 150 it would still not seem crowded. Happy to add another Alaskan Local Brewery to the list. So many breweries, so little time. 😀 I don’t know if I will be able to visit, enjoy and document all of our Alaskan micro-brews, but damn it, I’m gonna give it one hellava try. BHB, thanks for all you do, we shall return.

Glass on left Valley Trash beer. Glass on right Mommy Juice a hard seltzer aged in a cognac barrel. Both very tasty! Sunday brunch of corned beef hash.

My absolute favorite brewery in the valley! Best employees, atmosphere, seating, beer, and even glasses! The food is also great, I really have nothing bad to say about Bleeding Heart!

Just a quick 12-minute detour from the AK-1/AK-3 split, Bleeding Heart Brewery is a small but mighty stop worth making on your way toward Talkeetna. Billing itself as one of Alaska’s smallest breweries, this place more than makes up for its size with creativity, passion, and heart—qualities they feel many beers lack, but you won’t find missing here. Their standout brew, "Grounds for Divorce Coffee Porter", is a full-bodied coffee powerhouse with a cheeky name. Rich and smooth, this porter delivers a bold coffee flavor that’s worth any trouble it might stir up. It’s the perfect pint for sipping in their spacious interior or out in their large beer garden. Bleeding Heart also offers a rotating lunch menu, with highlights like their soup of the week and the Bibimbrat—a Korean-inspired bratwurst that adds a unique twist to the brewery’s offerings. The food pairs beautifully with their imaginative beer lineup, creating an experience that’s anything but ordinary. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Bleeding Heart Brewery is the perfect spot to grab a beer and some lunch while soaking in the Alaskan spirit. It’s a place with heart, and it shows in every pint.

Bleeding Heart, is my favorite brewery to work with but also enjoy in itself. They are easy to order kegs for clients for private events and have amazing choices to pick from while they also rotate flavors. The food they have as well rotates with the season and doesn't disappoint. Brunch Sunday's are my families favorite!

This is our favorite brewery in Alaska. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is fun with a Palmer vibe. They have a wonderful variety of always rotating taps and it never feels like their menu is stuck in one beer genre or another like some breweries. The food here is also excellent. My family likes to come on sundays for their brunch menu it has something for each of us to love.

I love this place! Everyone of the workers is super nice! Beer is delicious and the food is always top tier! Prices are also great two beers and two meals for around $30! And they have plants to look at and buy.

It's one of the best breweries in alaska, and one of the best pure Alaskan experiences, any one could have. The beers are very good, I have not had a bad one yet they have created. The crowd here is a slice of alaska. This is a fun place that doesn't take itself seriously, but makes seriously good beer. Update five years later. Still the best brewery in Alaska! I might miss the farm but in the winter after driving 45 minutes for a beer, its nice comfy and warm. The food is very good.

This was a cool spot. Very eclectic vibe with a unique beer selection and several cool limited release beers for the true connoisseur! Beautiful spot with a fun atmosphere unlike what you’ll find at most places which makes this place a must stop! Highly recommend!

Out of all of the breweries that I’ve had in Alaska this one comes in at #7. Absolutely, hands down, they have the best coffee porter in the state. They need a award for their Grounds for Divorce coffee porter, it’s rich, complex with just the right amount of coffee flavor! I was also surprised by their Basic Bit** sour. One of my favorite parts about this brewery is their relaxed, comfy environment that is so inviting to bring your friends and just sit down and enjoy a cold one! They have outside sitting as well which is great. They offer food as well which was very good!

Delightful! I got the tofu banh mi and the pomegranate lemonade slush. I was so impressed with the tofu!! Perfectly prepared. The aesthetic is also very nice; love the outdoor seating!

Such a fun craft brewery in the midst of small town Alaska! I walked in the snow from the Eagle Hotel because I didn't want to figure out parking in the snow, again from getting the last space in the hotel lot. The beer selection was amazing and the service was superb!! Loved the chili atmosphere!

If you’re thinking of getting the prosciutto mac and cheese just do it, probably one of the best bites in The Valley, maybe all of Alaska, truly delicious. The beer is great but the selection is just too limited and obscure for my taste - so maybe I suck for that. Just hard to give a 5 star when there is no Pilsner, lager, or IPA (there was an imperial available at time of me writing this) available. I just drank the Valley Trash (an unfiltered kolsch I think?) all night and felt great about it. Been a bunch and will of course be back.
