Loved it. The greens tasted great, so much flavor. The catfish was so good, tasted so fresh! Candied yams was chefs kiss! Not too soft and not too sweet. The giant chocolate cookie was soft. I wasn't a fan of the seasoning for the ribs but I will say they were falling off the bone. I see why they have earned their 5 star reviews.

Amazing brisket flavor and it was soooo juicy and tender! The ribs were perfectly smoked and meaty. Yum! Big portion sizes for great bbq prices. I’m in love with this place 😍 BEST BBQ in San Diego!
Have ordered off Door Dash twice they are so sweet forgot my Mac n cheese the first order and out two my second order. The food is very tasty and bring from the south it’s very spot on. The corn bread is prob the best I ever had
Demolished it in the parking lot. The food didn’t stand a chance 😭. From the first smell of the Catfish strips, collards, yams, and rolls, I didn’t even turn my car on, went ahead and popped that fork open and went to work lol AMAZING. Don’t order too early, they put my plate together in like 45 seconds flat via DoorDash lol. But in 15 min, food was still hot of course. I remember them from their business in Oceanside and was happy we have one here. Try them, you won’t be disappointed!
Some of the best barbecue you will eat is being served by these folks, smoking the meat and using the finest sauce to bring an authentic smokey flavor to your weekend lunch or supper. I suggest a rack of ribs and some pulled pork. Round it out with some bbq chicken and beef brisket. Pile it high and go to town. Mix and match your favorites all year long. The possibilities are endless, and the depth of flavor asks questions you don't even want to know the answer to.

Please update the business hours. I believe it's posted wrong because the last time I went by the hilltop DR and Euclid avenue location it was to be open just about every day it had more days open.

When I got my dinner the first taste of my ribs I could tell by the taste the “Ribs” were “Old” that taste like they had been frozen for a while taken out & reheated. They even left a aftertaste in my mouth. I’m disappointed & I had to post my disappointment. My next thought was getting sick 🥹🙄‼️
