It had been a while since we'd had tortas like this, and despite their simplicity, the flavor is delicious and the salsa is worth it. The prices are affordable, but you have to get there early because they're only available in the morning and they sell out fast!

La torta planchada de pierna está muy rica
An establishment dedicated to selling food, specifically tacos and tortas, whose distinctive feature is that they are flattened with an old iron plate to give them their traditional shape. The service is prompt and correct. The tacos and tortas are available with lamb barbacoa, chamorro, pork head and steak, or machitos. They offer a couple of salsas (chipotle and chile de árbol) and broth to accompany the food. The tortas are the best part of the establishment, as the bolillo is fried in oil when grilled. The tacos are a bit behind, as the tortilla isn't the best, while the broth is too fatty to be properly enjoyed. Correct.
The cakes are good, something different, the staff is friendly, but I only pay in cash.

Excellent!!! Tortas and consommé to start the morning. Beef, pork shank, and lamb are three of their options to choose from. They also have tacos, of course. It's a must-stop if you're hungry and in the area.
Highly recommended. The chipotle sauce and the chamorro, pollock, and steak tacos are unique. I like it when I'm in the area. I don't give them 5 stars because they need to update their equipment a bit. But you know, if it works, don't move it.

Honestly, they have a distinctive menu like no other taqueria or tortería in Potosí: lamb barbacoa, chamorro, steak, pork head, etc. Their salsas are very good, especially the chipotle salsa, which pairs well with the chamorro torta and some delicious radishes with lemon, making your taste buds tingle. Not to mention that they lightly baste the tortas in adobo sauce and grill them for a few minutes. Well, that was more than four or five years ago, with great quality and cleanliness. There was a girl (who I came to think was a relative of the grillers) who collected the money and kept the place clean. She was strict with the grillers and the customers. She did her job well; not with the best smile, but at the end of the day, you came to have lunch, not to flirt with her. The asepsis ended the moment she left or stopped working there. If you're observant, you'll notice that the grill where they prepare your tortas and tacos is dirtier than your car's engine crankcase; it hasn't been washed in a long time, crusted with grime. They make the consommé last longer by adding more water from a jug that I'd like to think comes from some local water treatment plant. And well, you're welcome to check out the overall cleanliness of the stand and you'll have your own observations. Anyway, I'm going to sound like a scorned girlfriend, and it's truly a criticism that I hope they'll consider correcting in the future.
