Came here for some Margs and burgers. This place was very good and clean. Loved the service and high standards.

My husband and I eat at Chili's in Santee on a regular basis. Their food is always consistent, cooked properly, and not overpriced. The 3-for-me deal is always a perfect amount of food. This last time we came in only 45 mins before closing. We were worried they might tell us the kitchen was closing and turn us away or worse..let us sit and then rush our food resulting in a mediocre experience... but they didn't! We sat at the bar, ordered and ate, and never felt rushed. I didn't catch the bartenders name but she was great also. P.S. if you get the 3 for me, add the cheesecake.. it's a full size piece of cheesecake for like $3.. you're welcome lol

Had Tyler tonight when we went in. We had a wonderful dinner. Tyler kept checking to make sure everything was OK. He was kind , personable , happy & he got our order to us perfectly. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. You definitely need to try this restaurant out.

Was a busy Friday evening and the place was busy. We decided to sit at the bar, glad we did- atmosphere was good, we had great views of the game on the TV and the bartender was very attentive and offered awesome service- wish I could remember her name. Unexpectedly amazing service. Got seated within 5 mins of checking in for a Saturday afternoon. Our server was wonderful. Not every day that we get good service and an attentive waitress. Food was delicious. We always get the $25 meal for two. Never fails to taste delicious. We always get the cookie and ice cream desert and we finished it for the first time. One of my favorite places to go. The best ribs out there for a chain restaurant. I have found them pretty consistent both in service and food. The quality, price and quantity are pretty well balanced. From dinner with the kids and families to sitting at the bar and watching sports or having fun with the friends it's a good place to go. Drinks are good too. Especially the Presidente Margarita!

Love Chili's. We tried the 3 course meal for $10, it was amazing. So much food for just $10, great for those that want to go out to eat on a budget. Love the margarita of the month for just $5. Also if you sign up for their rewards program you get free chips and salsa and free dessert on your birthday, which happened to be mine. So many deals that make you feel not that guilty for eating out 😉

We always enjoy a great meal at Chili’s, and this visit was no exception. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was welcoming and friendly from start to finish. Our recent visit was truly delightful, with service that felt attentive and seamless. Our meal arrived hot and fresh, just the way it should. The soup was rich and flavorful, generously loaded with chicken. The salad was crisp, cold, and refreshing, with perfectly fresh ingredients. The hamburger arrived steaming hot and piled so high it was difficult to take a first bite! The French fries were piping hot, perfectly cooked. Overall, everything from the food to the service made for a great dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will absolutely be returning.

I visited the Chili’s in Santee, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. My waiter, Taylor, delivered phenomenal service from start to finish. Attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional, Taylor made sure everything was perfect without missing a beat. The level of care and hospitality was truly outstanding. What sets this location apart is the consistency and quality of the service. Even though I live further away, I would gladly drive to this Chili’s any day over any other closer option. The team here goes above and beyond, and it shows. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere is welcoming, and every detail feels intentional. Got Brian as our server and he was absolutely amazing! We came to try their 3 for me deal and it was WORTH IT. We walked in on a Sunday night right before football started and it was slammed, however we were seated immediately! We did not even realize that the kitchen was behind because of how great the service was - Brian kept checking in on us, offered us some chips and salsa, and was ON TOP of refills. The food itself was great. We all had different variations of the burger and killed it. This location has def earned themselves some repeat customers. We came in for lunch, there was a Fat tire beer waiting when I came back from the restroom! Enjoyed a plater of fajitas with shrimp, grilled chicken and steak. It came with all the trimmings, I asked for tapatío the bartender said chili’s doesn’t carry it but she shared her own chalula stash with us! What a wonderful addition to a perfect lunch. Thank you for being so accommodating. There’s is ample parking and the garden with its paths is very nice. Will be back

Chili's is absolutely amazing 10/10. Amazing food, served quickly, amazing staff, availability, quality, time, environment. Everything ur looking for in a restaurant, I promise you they will meet your expectations! I went two days in a row around dinner time. Theres a bar, if you want to get some drinks. But there's also a completely different section where everyone and their families were. I seen tons of families, Dads taking their families out for dinner. You can tell this is one of their favorite places to go, huge parties, or one or two people, this place is absolutely for a variety of different people. They sat me down quickly with my best friend. Everywhere is clean and well-taken care of. The menu has so much variety of foods, soups, salads, drinks, alcohol, etc. I went two days in a row! And BOTH TIMES they brought the food out within 10-15 minutes, for two people. Not even joking!! Both times! I received my food so quickly, it was freshly made. The staff, the waiters/waitresses, the cooks, etc. You can tell they actually care, they work SO WELL together, its such an efficient, organized system they have. It works perfectly. Literally 10/10 service. The waitress always made sure i was good with a quick glance but didnt bother you constantly for no reason. They made my experience beyond any other restaurant i have gone to in my life. (A close second is any steak house lol. But they still take long). I definitely recommend this place. Whether your going by yourself, or with friends or family, this place will suit your needs. And the food is such good quality, hot, fresh, tasty. You WILL be eating those leftovers! I love it here. Lastly, they have an electronic tablet at EACH table, for people of all ages to play games on, along with checking out/paying at your own convenience!! It was super easy to just swipe my card on the tablet and leave!? I was like wow.. This place is amazing lol Definitely coming here again

Took some out of town friends here last night and had a great dinner. The service was really good and our server was very attentive. I had a BlackBerry Blitz made with tequila and it was so delicious! It's sweet, so if you don't like sweet drinks, you won't like this one. I had the loaded baked potato soup and it was satisfactory. I believe it could have had a little more potato in it. The Cajun pasta was amazing. Very delicious and I would have it again. We had the Chocolate Molten Lava cake for dessert & that was amazing. Overall, it was a pretty good experience and everybody's meals were pretty good.

Service was spot on. Big Mouth Bites aka sliders were decently good. Street corn was way overcooked. Chips and salsa are really good. Lite, crispy chips. Overall a nice place to eat. For a chain restaurant, this location is pretty decent. Service is friendly, consistent, and usually pretty fast. During the lunch rush you may be waiting awhile, though. I always order the Cajun shrimp pasta and it's pretty delicious every time! Plus, their chips and salsa are surprisingly good for a chain restaurant. Their long island iced tea is really yummy as well. It's also well suited for kids - they have a decent kids' menu. Also, for $2.99, you can add unlimited games on their tablet for when the kids need a distraction! Overall, I'm always satisfied when I eat here and would recommend to anyone looking for decent food at a good price.

My mom loves to go to Chili's and get the Margherita of the month. While we're there, we take advantage of the free chips and salsa and get the sampler appetizer I love. This month, though, the Marg was not that great, and the server was a bit scattered, but you know, we'll be back for the next Margarita since it's our monthly ritual 😉

Had a very nice lunch recently at Chili’s in Santee! Sitting in the bar area is always a fun vibe and everything was nice and clean. The service was reasonably friendly, timely and efficient. I noticed the new Ziosk device is a smaller form factor now and much less tacky and obtrusive than before. I was really impressed by their Hand-Battered Chicken Crispers! If you’re a fan of the venerable fried chicken tender, this one is an absolute standout. Plus, it comes with your choice of two dipping sauces. I ordered it as a “Crispy Chicken Crispers Combo” which comes with fries and white cheddar mac & cheese. What truly flummoxed me was how terrible the mac is! It was truly awful. Just a sad, soupy mess. A combo platter like this would be much better with a side of crispy, cool coleslaw or something. Not sure who at Mother Chili’s corporate office thought it was a good idea to serve mac & cheese with fries, but it’s not a good idea.

Chili's is good. Love the bottomless chips and salsa. I always get the burger on the three for me menu. Appetizer, Burger, and a drink all for around $11. Cheaper than most fast food restaurants for a similar meal. Service is good, but it is very loud in there... There are a lot of different TVs, with a lot of different sports on. If you're a sports fan, this is the place you want to go. We just wanted to go out for a nice dinner at a reasonable price. We did get a good dinner at a good price, but it's a little hard to hold a conversation sometimes.

People might not realize you can exchange a deep fried chicken sandwich for a grilled chicken sandwich. Can’t even get rid of the bun then you can exchange the french fries for asparagus or mashed potatoes.. It’s really easy to have a healthy meal at Chili’s.

Always a nice place to stop for some quick eats, seasonal or traditional drinks, and to watch a game! Staff are always so friendly and accommodating, some are even pretty funny! Service is great, especially in the bar, with check-ins, refills, and food delivery. Food is consistently well prepared and tasty. Mixed drinks, they'll sneak up on you as they're nicely balanced so you can enjoy them not just try to drink them.

Called ahead, was a 45 minute wait. Went later and waited about a half hour. Was able to get a drink at the bar after it cleared out a bit. The bartender was very responsive and made a sweet margaritas, which was very good. After going to the table, the service was fair, not very responsive, and slow to get drinks and to order food. Asked for salt & pepper and received 2 packs. Asked for a lot more and then received a few more packs. Had to ask for fries, which was supposed to come with the order. It's hit or miss wether you'll get good quick service or not. Sometimes it's fast, sometimes it can be close to an hour before our food arrives. We had a group of 8 this last time. The service was good, but my only complaint was how the waitress split the check in the beginning and then referred to us by that check. Instead of asking "what would you like to order?" She would say "check 1, whats your order?" Then go to the next person and say "check 2...". It just felt so impersonal and that's just how she saw us, as checks and not customers or people. Oh and we never got the chips and salsa we ordered. But they took it off the bill when we asked about it after our regular meal arrived

I had eaten there for lunch my steak was a little more well done than I expected but still good. The 3 stars because there was only one waiter and he did the best he could to help everyone but we had to wait a little to get our checks and I had ordered some nachos to go for my boyfriend. Which took really long to come out as well. By the time I got home and my boyfriend saw the nachos the chips were burnt and hard to eat. Also super soggy, and the meat tasted old. I've had good experiences here before but this time was just not one of them.

Well, I tried to get a sirloin steak cooked medium-rare. The first one was RARE rare, and about 98% gristle, the second one was, as the manager described it, "jerky". So I gave up, but Haley, the delightful manager, took my drink off AND let me take the third attempt home at no charge. Props to Haley for doing things right. We sat at the bar to avoid a 15-minute wait in a pretty empty place (Monday afternoon around 4pm). The bartender took our order, but different people serve. Chips and salsa good, Cajun chicken pasta good but not hot. No chance to send it back, as new bartender was chatting with her best friend. Got a to go box and reminded her we ordered choc chip cookie dessert. Reminded bartender two more times - after being asked if we were okay - and then reminded other bartender we were still waiting for my drink and dessert. Bartenders chatting with each other, paying no attention to customers. I got up and got my own limes for my drink and no one noticed. Even the MOD had to be flagged down to listen to a complaint, after we asked a sever to get her for us. Cookie dessert finally arrived, but not as ordered. MOD comped our food, which we appreciated. Skip this place.

Food and service was great. However, they took away the host stand and it looks very unprofessional. The host now has to awkwardly stand with a tablet mounted on the wall. Also, they took away the benches for people waiting. It’s not as welcoming of an atmosphere as it used to be. Poor decision on management’s behalf.

Just another group of parents with kids from a little league team screaming and running about without responsible adult supervision. The food was awful, I got the runs later that evening. My first and last time there. I've heard all the hype about Chili's ribs which were ok but I wouldn't go back. Sorry just being honest, the "nachos" was 1 tortilla cut up into pieces like a pizza, deep fried, and topped with really lazily smeared sparse toppings... Recommend skip this establishment... Steak was really tough over salted and gristly. Ew!

This was our first visit to this location. We regularly visit various different Chili's locations during our travels and have come to expect a good meal no matter which location we are at. This is the first time we've ever had a bad entree. I ordered a smokehouse combo with dry rubbed ribs and smoked brisket, to go. As a brisket lover I can tell you this was some BAD brisket. What came were 2 super thin cuts, of tough and dry meat, that for some reason were coated in a peppery bbq sauce (which was not in the description). It was just plain BAD. I will NEVER order this again. Unfortunately, the other item was not good either. The dry rubbed ribs we just that, DRY. My first bite I actually choked and couldn't swallow the rib meat...when I finally unclogged my airway I was assulted by spiciness. I'm not sure what happened to their rub, but my ribs were caked in .5 centimeter thick coating of almost pure pepper. No other flavor notes whatsoever, just pepper. I literally WASHED the rub off the meat, just so I could have something to eat. On a positive note, my husband's turkey club was good and my kids didn't complain about their food. This dinner was definitely far from their normal standards. As a dietary issue those who chart their food (like diabetics and those on a keto diet)should be aware that items like the brisket come with unadvertised BBQ sauce...on top of not tasting good it really messed up my macros

First time eating here. Was asked by the waitress if we wanted to start off with some chips and salsa. We said sure. Chips weren't fresh and we're extremely salty & so was the salsa. Played the game at the table white we waited..then we got our food, chicken strips with honey Chipotle sauce were also very salty and the little hamburger appetizers werent fresh tasting either. .got the check and we're shocked to see that the chips weren't free and the game wasn't free either. 🤦‍♀️ we wont be back.

I picked up an order for my family and was completely disappointed with the quality of the food. We used to love going to Chili’s and had it on our regular rotation but this location has completely gone downhill. We got the quesadilla explosion salad, 16 boneless wings, and three chipotle bowls. We ordered one bowl without avocado and all the bowls came without avocado. Then came the worst part, we all took one bite and threw it all out. Tortilla strips were completely blanketing the salad/bowls and tasted like they were left out overnight. Absolutely disgusting!! We will not be returning. If you are debating on where to eat, choose somewhere else.

Today me and my daughter decided to dine at Chili's in Santee. To my surprise, they didn't have a wait time, despite busy hour, and we were seated right away. And then the fun began. We were completely ignored for good 15 minutes, and finally the waiter decided to say hi to us. I started to order, they did not have every other item that I wanted to order. Anyways, he goes away, and after 10 minutes our soda drinks arrive. After another 15 minutes the waiter comes up again and says that our food will be a little late since they're very busy. By the way, I ordered a salad and some appetizers, imagine if I ordered burgers lol. I said well, can we have some chips and salsa so that we have something to be busy with, he said sure! And we lost hom again. Another 10 minutes go by and I grab my daughter and we just walk out. Piece of advice to the management, if you don't have the capacity or the workforce, you shouldn't just invite people in and make them wait forever, that's elementary disrespectful.

The food is cold specially the fries I already tell him the fries is old and cold. They take it and they heat it same fries and they bring it to me and I tell them again I ordered burger with the fries the burger no test the fries with the burger, old I order grilled onion, They bring grilled onion from the refrigerator cold .

Very disappointed. I eat at Chili's a lot. Last night we ordered 2 orders of the shrimp tacos and some chips to go. 3 tacos in each order. All the tacos were cold like they just came out of the refrigerator. And the chips were still stale, hard as a rock. Very disappointed. 36 bucks for cold food.

Horrible food especially the alcohol, I returned my Margarita and actually paid for my appetizers and went to another restaurant next door. It was that bad! The waitress was not interested in serving us and whispered when she spoke. Just an overall strange experience

So let's start off by the fact I had to carrie a high chair all the way to table being pregnant because my waitress just didn't have time to do it herself. Than when she did come around again we didn't see her for another 15 mins or so after she dropped off our drinks. When we placed our order in it arrived super cold and when it was time for the check we had to go looking for her to pay it and she replied I'll give you change as of she knew her service didn't deserve a tip. We still have her a 10 dollar tip. The only reason I keep I saying she is because my waitress never gave her name. In all it was such a horrible place to eat. My family will never be eating there again. The back workers helped my table more than my waitress even the bar people had to give us things because she refused to come serve us. Once I figure out her name I will be calling the store to speak to the general manager.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and French fries. The meal was so salty I could not eat it. My sister-in-law ordered fajitas and they too were so salty. I will never come back again. Good thing I didn’t have health issues and needed to avoid sodium.

Today, I was highly disappointed in my order. I just picked up my food. I ordered the Ancho Salmon with Mexicsn rice and a side of corn on the cob for $21.99. I would expect a little more rice than what I was given. I feel like I was given someone's leftover from their plate. I guess nowadays you don't get what you pay for. ☹️👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Ordered bone in wings and received boneless wings. Having stuff delivered already cost a lot and to get something you didn’t want is not ok and messed up the sauce on one of the order of wings as well.not everyone likes boneless wings…ended up throwing it away was dry hard and just nasty..
