Oh my gosh, yum!!! Their pizza was absolutely delicious! We also ordered some garlic knots with sauce, definitely recommend. These garlic knots are huge too, so when you get 12, you definitely get your money's worth.

Just went there on the advice from my brother. Only had one slice for lunch. It was very tasty. They must be good, there was a lot of traffic in while I was there. Give them a try, I think you'll be happy you did.

I like Prima Pizza. But another pizza place made their pizza a bit more crispier, which I prefer. So I asked prima to make my pizza with more crisp. They did, which makes a quite difference. So if want a crispier pizza, just say so and they'll deliver the goods.

I work nearby. My pick is quick, easy, cheap AND GOOD NY cheese slices and an occasional Turkey Bacon CheddarMelt. Blaze Pizza is closer and I go to Prima if that says anything.

First time at Primo tonight, by chance, and blown away by the quality of the food. My young daughter said "I can't wait to eat the crust: it is so golden and delicious." We had the broccoli pie. I also got the eggplant parm dinner, which was full of authentic sauce and melted mozzarella with a good portion of eggplant, though I wasn't even able to eat half, after havo some pizza. Also recommend trying some of the stuffed peppers.

So glad I listened to my fiance when we wanted to get pizza here. We usually order at least once a week for pizza and wings. We moved to Rotterdam so we aren't that close anymore but we still make the extra distance to get pizza from here. I think that there pizza might be a little more expensive then other places but WELL worth it for a quality pizza!!!

The pizza is excellent! I recommend the Sicilian style as the crust is like bread dough. Which reminds me a lot of Defazios pizza dough. Crispy on the outside and light and fluffy in the middle. The sauce is perfect. Not drenched, and seasoned to perfection. Fresh squeaky mozzarella on the pies, no cheap cheese here. This place is always packed on the weekends so always allow staff time. Great place!

I moved up to Albany area from NJ/Philly area. Philly isn't the best area for pizza but there are a few great spots... NJ is close enough to NY where there's always a great pizza place around. I get up to Albany and it's just a disappointment everywhere. So I surf on SliceLife app to find a good pizza place and see a pic of what their pizza looks like .... and it reminded me so much of the best places in Philly that I drive about 15 min here to check it out. Oooooh sooo good. :) This is really a great pizza. A lot of places around here have some kind of tomato paste like sauce or the bread tastes like someone used cheap bread or just like a loaf of Italian bread to make a pizza... and it just tastes weird. This pizza here reminds me of great NYC pizzas and many that I used to have in central NJ. Definitely worth the drive down and I plan to go down this Saturday to get a medium pizza here... looking forward to that. If you are used to NYC type pizza and haven't found a good pizza joint near you, check this place out and you'll be very happy.

Been coming here for a long time. Best pizza in town, however careful ordering after hours. The night crew sometimes makes mistakes. So just order early if you want what you ordered. The pizza is really good as well as their wings. Just order extra sauce. Wish they were open on Sundays.

I eat there at least twice a week,for the last five years and have never been unhappy with any meal, sub or awesome pizza I get there. From the owner down they are a great ,friendly and speedy crew . I highly recommend Prima Pizza, noon time during the week is busy, half the town gets lunch there , still not a negative, this place is a class act!

Read some good reviews so I figured I’d stop in while I visiting the area for a few things. I’m always looking for a good cheesesteak sandwich and I love pizza too. Figured I’d stop by and try both and I’m so happy I did. Nice easy going, family vibe when you walk in. Dining room is a little small but not cramped, it’s comfortable. I got a slice of cheese pizza and cheesesteak and sat at the bar with a window facing the Main Street which was nice. The pizza was pretty good, solid 7/10. Took maybe 5-10 minutes for my cheesesteak. It was soooo good, I’d give it a 9.5/10. Either they bake the bread fresh or get it somewheres fresh because it was flaky on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. Next time I’m in the area I’m for sure coming back! Highly recommend.

Prima has been my favorite pizza in the area since I was a kid. Can’t go wrong with the classic NY style or the square Sicilian. My favorite was always the “Brooklyn Pie”, their version of the “COB”. If pizza is not your thing, that’s fine, they have THE BEST chicken parm sub. They’ve been doing it for almost 40 years, classic place, you won’t be disappointed.

A few years ago I came here and thought it was a four star pizza joint. March 2019 came back and realized it is a five star place. The quality of the pizza is superb, the taste is excellent. Clean and friendly. Judging from the exterior you might be tempted to pass this place, but inside is totally different. Prices are standard for a pizza place, not cheap, not expensive. worth stopping in if you are in the area. I'd even drive a bit to pick up a pie. Treat yourself.

Yummy Ordered wings to have for apetizers for the next day, placed on baking sheet 350 for 15 -20 mins and my brothers devowered them. Yummy white pizza too. Only complaint would be wish I had a few more carrots and celery ( thats my eats) maybe upgrade the blue cheese. Other than that, a go to pizza place.

Ordered an 8 cut pizza to go with pepperoni and cheese. The pizza was cooked perfectly and priced reasonably. They have slices to go and salads in a cooler packaged to go.

We've ordered several times for delivery but didn't think to do a review. We order when my kids and grandkids come over. I usually do the order by phone for delivery. Overall we have been very pleased with the service, taste and correct orders. Everyone enjoys their meals. No complaints. I can't do a 5 rating, but no one is perfect, but a solid 4.5

Pizza had too much sauce. Cheese was the king if you take a bite a huge piece slides off on your chin.

I have ordered pizza here a few times before. I would say honestly it’s not bad, it’s average. The garlic bread however was not good at all which surprised me. Overall I rate this establishment a 3 out of 5 based on what I have tried. And to be fair, I have only tried the pizza and garlic bread. Would come again for pizza. The prices I believe here are very fair. And if I come back and order anything else I will add that into my review as well.

There is no consistency in food taste or quality since it was sold. Drink staff is great. I always order an Italian mix sub with toasted bread, mayo and oil and vinegar. This time although busy was just horrible. Bread wasn’t toasted. I had to ask for the oil and vinegar. My Moms steak took 23 minutes while we waited and called in our order previously. The meat was dry The sauce was dry. Overall…DISAPPOINTING ‼️

Burnt pizza, extra greasy. BUT they delivered. The night before a holiday which apparently isn't common around here.

We always order the party pie. For some reason they never seem to have “the dough for it” on Fridays” but you can make (2) 8 cuts? What a joke. You just lost a customer of 10 years.

This used to be a good spot to come and get lunch on the go. Recently, I have gotten 2 bad subs and their pizza is super greasy. My first sub attempt was about 2 weeks ago, the Italian mix was just off. The meat had to be close to it's expiration, the lettuce was brown and there was enough dressing on it for a catering size salad. Now today, I was craving a meatball sub. These meatballs are definitely mass produced and not made in house. The bread was burnt and the sub had almost no sauce, minimal cheese and needless to say the meatballs were the absolute worst. I do not recommend any one getting the meatballs here, lunch ended up in the garbage where those meatballs belong. Also, these last two times that I've been here it looks like this place is under construction.

I can’t ever tell if this place actually wants to be in business. I ordered delivery a little while ago and the driver that showed up decided to tell me that they don’t actually deliver that far. I live exactly 3.5 miles away. Also keep in mind that I’ve worked in food service for 14yrs so I tip 22%. So that driver is being compensated well for the 8 min drive. So yesterday i ordered PICKUP because 3.5 miles is too far. Brought it home, it was nothing like what I had when it was delivered. The cheese would just slide off the entire slice even after letting it cool. Underneath that cheese was the saddest amount of nearly nonexistent sauce. Rubbery cheese and dry dough. No thank you.

We have been ordering from you guys for years but recently there has been a lack of give a crap on your part. Tonight was no exception. We ordered tonight and the boneless wings weren't marked, mild, medium???? It's a guess. They were dry as dry can be. The salad wasn't the right one! The young person was a bit short when we said it never comes this way. I ordered a philly steak once and there was hardly anything inside. We got celery and carrots they looked old. The soups are good as is the prima pizza...but the lack of attention to detail is frustrating. Maybe the $80 or 90 bucks evey few weeks doesn't matter to you. I guarantee it does to us. Thanks.

Have ordered from here twice and once from marinos flying pizza and both times disappointed w the tough crust and so so sauce and cheese...delivery is fast though...and marinos ad the worst crust I ever could not chew.... I ate just the cheese and pepperoni and threw the crust away...like the 32 d I spent on a bottle of Pepsi and 8 cut w one topping!!!

74.00$ for a 8 cut bbq chicken pizza and 20 wings. That in itself was already outrageous and then for all of it to taste mediocre was just a spit in the face. This was literally a waste and disappointing and I hope you guys can step up your game or lower your prices. This was awful.

The quality continually goes down. I used to love Prima for their NY style pizza-nice thin, semi-crunchy crust with the perfect amount of toppings. However, this has been my third time getting pizza where the crust is half baked and chewy. On top of that, the people running the place just don't care. I would prefer supporting a locally owned business but will succumb to Blaze. Hopefully Prima reads reviews and does something about it!

Very bad experience & this will be the last time my family & I will be never go back there again. The manager is very unprofessional. The two girls up front were understanding & nice. All the food was poorly cooked the sandwich & calzone were burnt, thick layer of flour at bottom of calzone. It was like you were eating flour & the sauce was cold. They also forgot to give a wrap. When calling we were told that they'd deliver a new wrap. They do not do any refunds they have a new owner. Prior had an issue about a month ago was told I was getting a refund never recieved it. Then I told them that the sandwich was burnt they gave now they can't deliver there to busy. When going back to exchange the food the wrap was drenched in dressing soaggy and the sandwich was incorrect again. Like come on I understand things happen , but completely ridiculous and this isn't the first time. I do not recommend don't waste your money here.

This is the most inconsistent pizzeria or restaurant I have ever patronized, fabulous one time and terrible the next. On a good day you will get a tasty pizza with a crispy crust. On a bad day, you get one that is barely cooked. This has been going on for years and years. I’m finally throwing in the towel on this establishment.

This place is so unprofessional!! They delivered me the incorrect pizza. I called to ask them to please send the correct pizza. After arguing with me that I placed the order wrong the clerk admits the driver sent the wrong one. They over charged me for the wrong size as well. Oh the best part is we called back after 45 minutes asking where our order was and they said it will be a little bit and they made more excuses as to why we would need to continue to wait. They NEVER brought my correct order. I paid cash and have no recourse to get my money back. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY.

I’ve never had an issue with prima until today. We ordered 6 steak and cheese subs and over an hour later I called to check up and they said it was on their way but they didn’t make it because they “thought it was a joke we wanted 6 steak and cheese sandwiches.” I called back ten minutes after that conversation and spoke with the manager planning on canceling the order as it wasn’t here yet then when it arrived I felt bad for the drive so I didn’t cancel, but expected a little more understanding/Sympathy. The manager was so rude and said if I cancel the order i can never order from them again. I’m a consistent customer who orders I would say once a week AT LEAST from them and will be changing that for the rude manager I had to deal with. Horrible customer service and the subs weren’t as good as they usually are... maybe get more professional people working there who understand the order the first time.

It's too bad that a great place has fallen off for both customer service and quality. I have enjoyed the food from Prima for the last 5+ years, and the food I purchased today has given me no other choice but to share with everyone who reads reviews. As another reviewer mentioned things just seem to have worsened drastically over the last several months. The roast beef on my sub was not edible (and it wasn't Boars Head), the stuffed pepper they sell at the counter was gross and the sub rolls that I purchased to-go were handled by a woman who thought it was ok to not wear gloves. If you're dying from starvation, and the only place on the planet to get something to eat is Prima then do what you have to do. If you have an alternative option do not hesitate, and do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere. I know that Mario was very involved in the day to day operations, but I haven't seen him there in quite a while. I think if he were back Prima would be a better place. If I see him I will let him know about my experience.

Disastrous Ordering Experience - Avoid! I scheduled a pizza delivery for tomorrow at 11:45 AM for a class pizza party. To my surprise, the order arrived TODAY, causing significant disruption. After confirming the error wasn't mine, Prima Pizza acknowledged the mistake and offered to remake the order for the correct time, but only if I picked it up. As a teacher, picking up an order during school hours is impossible. We agreed on them delivering at noon. However, within half an hour, they called to demand the return of the pizza, which had already been handled! **It was the owner's decision to insist on the return of the food, despite it already being in our possession.** This demonstrates a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and a lack of understanding of basic customer service principles. Instead of a solution, I was forced to request a full refund. This entire experience was incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. **The only saving grace was the kindness and helpfulness of the lady on the phone.** Despite the situation, she remained polite and attempted to find a resolution. However, the fundamental issues with order accuracy and customer service remain. I strongly advise avoiding Prima Pizza due to their incompetence and lack of customer service. **Tips for Improvement:** * **Double-check all orders before delivery.** This fundamental step would prevent such errors. * **Prioritize customer convenience.** Offer solutions that accommodate the customer's needs, especially when the business is at fault. * **Improve communication and problem-solving.** Handle customer concerns with professionalism and empathy. * **Empower employees to make reasonable decisions.** Allow staff to resolve customer issues effectively without unreasonable demands. Went there today with my coworker for lunch and she was there a good 20/30 minutes waiting on 4 slices of pizza. I was in the car and witnessed at least 7 people go in AFTER her and COME OUT BEFORE her with their slices and boxes of pizza. After she asked the girl at the register which was VERY RUDE for a refund she decided to tell her that she wasn’t going to give her one. I walked in after that and explained that we are working on the clock and our time is being wasted. She had someone come up from the back and I guess refund the money from the credit card machine. Clearly they don’t prioritize BLACK PAYING customers. She also mentioned to her “do you have the money?” to pay for her food which is also VERY RUDE! My co worker left a review on Google that they did not agree with and they called her phone to say “you were only there waiting for 20 minutes, the way you handled it was unprofessional” and she needed to “take down the review” because it doesn’t make them look good. As an African American woman it is truly sad that we are still dealing with these kind of issues especially when PAYING OUR MONEY to support your business. I will NEVER be back and I will let anyone that I know that is AFRICAN AMERICAN to not waste their time with you because we don’t matter at your restaurant. We can wait until everyone else who comes in AFTER US is served. What a joke! If I could give you 0 stars I would but unfortunately 1 is the lowest.

This is a predominately Caucasian lunch spot. When I walked in I instantly got stares, and felt out of place. Then I ordered 4 slices of cheese pizza which I waited 45 minutes for. In that 45 minutes I watched people who walked in WELL AFTER ME and they all got served, in a timely manner and walked out with food. I saw this with about 6 or 7 people. When I asked how long it will be the counter lady said “I don’t know you have to wait for the guy in the back” I asked how long would it be before he came out because I had to return to work, and she ignored me and served the next person. I then say that if I can’t get my food I’m gonna need a refund, and she tells me that I can’t have one and I have to wait for my food. After my coworker came in who had the same concerns I had because she had been waiting in the car for so long, my coworker asks what’s going on. The woman came out with my pizza gave it to another customer and then finally agreed to give me a refund. As a black woman I’ll Never go here again. Even the customers saw the discrimination and began to ask what was going on and asking the lady when my food will be ready

I ordered a pizza that was extremely expensive but late. I can deal with that, but I also ordered a side salad that was basically a bunch of lettuce with one small piece of tomato, a couple olive slices and one carrot slice. I called to ask for a credit and I had to wait to speak with a manager. In all fairness I was very upset that I had to even request a credit. But he said that I would have to send the salad back and they would send another. It took over an hour to even get my order. What kind of place does this for a $4.50 side salad? The pizza was decent, but they lost a potential new customer for their ridiculous request.

We ordered a calzone with pepperoni, black olives, and extra cheese. We got the calzone home and cut in and take a bite and there was no pepperoni, no big deal. However when we called to make it right, the girl who answered the phone was rude about it and refused to make it right unless we drove bringing the bad order back to get the right order. We just wanted to get a discount next time as we go there often, she said her boss said no. We asked to speak to her boss and again we're greeted with attitude. He said he cared very little as he was leaving soon but offered us a credit for future use. 1-29-25 this order was placed at around 8 pm. Won't be back not even for the credit.

Pizza was very very very thick like lasagna stack thick...I was excited to try the pizza out after seeing Dave Portnoy grade it but the hype died very hard. Sauce is no way in hell pizza sauce very sweet tasting like marinara which is exactly the same....thick sauce style very red thick marinara. I didn't enjoy the experience I could barely eat 3 pieces it was so thick....Paesans pizza is way better in every way.

I called to order a 12 cut cheese and half pepperoni pizza with a 10 piece bone in wing for the price of $41.23 along with a 2 L Mountain Dew which they gave me a square pizza if I was going to order a 12 cup pizza I wouldn’t order that in a square cut especially if it was going to cost me $40. I could’ve paid $12 from Little Caesars from a circle pizza This is New York not the West Coast.

I've gotten subs here in the past and they were delicious. Went there today and they charged over 35 for two subs. Apparently they charge extra for veggies like pickles and charged extra for an American mixed sub to remove the salami. Never again. When asked to explain why it was so expensive the staff was very rude. If they are changing for these items it should be disclosed on the menu board or at least by the staff. All of this could have been easily avoided with transparency

I asked about sizes of pizza and instead of giving me dimensions, they gave me how many slices, as if I can figure out the diameter of the pizza from how many times they decide to cut it... gave my name and phone number and in the midst of ordering I am put on hold. 🙄

Been going to Prima since 1985 WAS always delicious. Ordered 10 mild 10 medium wings. Was soo cooked and DRY. Didn't use a napkin! The Blue cheese dressing must have been watered down. Usually the sauce is dripping out of the container and you can dip your wing in the bottom of container for more sauce.. Not this time !!In September ordered 6 cut cheese sausage, 6 cut cheese and pepperoni, and a 6 cut cheese pizza for family visiting from Florida. They said they have good pizza there! It was so dry. No one wanted seconds !!! What happen Prima ? That's 2 outs in a month !

So we ordered this meal for my kids birthday. I ordered at 12 slice pep and a 8 slice cheese with extra cheese. I get that it isna Friday but come on... the whole cheese pizza is so soggy and soft in the middle. Bit the crust at the top was really hard.. It is clear the pizza was not cooked long enough or the temperature was off bc under the pizza it was pretty light.. i was really disappointed bc I paid 50$ for 2 pies and 10 boneless wings. I wish i just went to Domino's like my husband said.

I ordered a calzone a side salad a personal pizza and an 8 cut pizza with light sauce, when my aunt went to pick it up it was white sauce not light sauce, no biggy, they remade it and my aunt brought the new pizza home, we opened it and it is SMOTHERED in sauce, my autistic 4 year old had serious issues with food and the pizza was completely inedible for him, this was obviously very intentional and honestly very childish. If I could give zero stars I would. Great job guys.

I ordered 2 eggplant parm sub and it had 5 very thin pieces on the whole thing. More like a bread and cheese sub. I placed all the pieces on 1/2 of the sub roll just to get the flavor of eggplant. I get cutting corners with the economy but that was beyond a rip off. Not worth $34. Lost customer after many years!
