Went here for dinner. This is a great burger and fries place. I had a burger with mushrooms, very good! The fries come out hot and fresh and are unlimited. The service is very good. The iced tea is very good. This chain has always been good for with fresh food. Friendly is what I remember about the service. Will return.

For my first Islands experience, it was wonderful. Our server was was friendly. The tables were wiped down before we sat at it. They offered indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor seating was much more limited. We got there around 5ish and we were seated right away. Once 6 o clock hit, there was a line to be seated. Customers that were checked-in had to wait in their car until receiving a call that their table was ready. Our food was delicious. They even had an impossible burger for us people that prefer plant-based protein. All in all, I would recommend this place. The portions were a good size. My two daughters really enjoyed it as well.

Grant was our server, he was great, took very good care of us. Wife had the Island burger I had fish tacos couldn't finish the 3rd taco took it home and ate it for lunch the next day...it tasted just as good as it did the day before at the restaurant.

First time here and Amanda was wonderful and very attentive and helpful even on a busy Friday night. Never leaving us feeling neglected while simultaneously giving great service and laughing with her father customers. We will be back for sure!

Great food, but my wife and daughter's burger was not cooked the way they ordered. My wife ordered hers well done (I know that you're not supposed to eat a well done burger, but it's her decision. And she has great taste in other ways...she married me) was still good anyways. Although all the staff were good, it seems like they were overwhelmed due to the number of patrons.

Good service really does make or break any dining experience, and the AMAZING waitress we had yesterday should teach a Master Class on how to be engaging , on point and attentive. The food was good. Always a big fan of their fries. My kids had no complaints, which is unusual, so I'll take that as a plus. But again, the waitress just made the entire experience. And based on the poor to down right rude service we have received at other restaurants lately, this was genuinely a breath of fresh air. I even had to track down the manager who was on break and tell him how amazing the service was. We will be back and hopefully we get to sit in her section again.

Our server, if I remember correctly, Gina was awesome. I was having dinner with a friend I haven't seen in awhile & she checked on us frequently, but didn't rush us to order as we were catching up.

Went in for a Birthday Dinner for my mom on Sunday 8/11. We were originally going to be placed by the door, and we requested a booth in more so it wouldn’t be cold. Host said there is nothing. Server said that she could take us at a booth in more. Every drink was filled promptly when empty. Checked in for anything needed. Thought ahead for little cups for sauce and bag to carry leftover out. Made us laugh. Overall was the best trip to Islands in a long time. Servers name is SKY. Islands keep her around, she will turn this place around.

Thank you so much to Temecula Island's for hosting our sons graduation party! We had an unforgettable time. Our server Sky was beyond amazing. The kitchen had our food come out all together for a party of 20 which is unheard of. And to top it off the manager Jason made sure we had everything we needed and made a point to interact with our party, which just made our experience that much better! Such a great day thanks to Island's and their amazing team!

The food is consistent. Everytime I go, it tastes as good as the first I came. The staff was attentive. The wait was reasonable. My glass was never empty. The table and condiments were clean. (Something I look at in deciding if I will come back or not).

Service was great. We had a toddler with us that was hungry and having a tough time. Server got us an order of fries asap...made everyone's time more enjoyable. I ordered the pineapple teriyaki burger, it was amazing.

Had lunch here. Awesome experience, our waiter Grant was knowledgeable on the menu and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious, Tiki Tenders, BLT, Tortilla soup , and Kilauea burger. We had a fantastic experience at Islands in Temecula! We arrived around 6:30 PM during a busy dinner rush, but we were seated immediately. Our server, Sky, was outstanding she was very detailed when taking our orders, stayed on top of our refills, and handled the busy dining room with ease while still giving every guest great attention. The food was delicious as always, but what really made the night special was the service. Jason, the manager, checked in with our table multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. You could tell he genuinely cared about our overall experience. Thanks to Sky, Jason, and the rest of the team, we will definitely continue to come back to this location!

We ordered for take out on the app when we arrived 20 minutes later we parked at mobile pick up spot. Our Food was out in less than 5 minutes after our arrival. All our meals were as we ordered. All sauces we asked for were in the bag. The Employee that brought us our food was friendly. Our food was delicious as usual!

Service was outstanding with good attitude from the server. The food came out fast and exactly as we ordered. The server stayed on top of things making sure that my family needs were met. Yo, we had the best service ever at this Islands. We brought our whole team in here, sat at 10 different tables, ordered all kinds of weird stuff, split the checks a billion ways, and were very social. Our server was fantastic, handled everything in stride, was super pleasant, and all of our orders were 100% correct. I couldn't believe it. Left a giant tip, because that was the best service we've ever had. Food and drinks were great too!

Cute place, sat near the bar and the bartender was so kind. Blonde girl forgot her name but awesome service. Quick too. Got some sliders and the Kona pie. Definitely recommend the pie!

Had the shorebird chicken sandwich on wheat bun. Light mayo. Yummy with small salad and honey mustard. Split French fries with 3 friends. Fries were fresh, hot and crispy.

What a friendly place! We were seated at a comfortable booth and a waitress came almost immediately for our drink order. Most of our group ordered burgers and fries. The consensus was that the food was delicious. It is definitely a family friendly restaurant.

This was out first time here and Amanda was absolutely fantastic! Came with my Husband and daughters and she couldn’t have been nicer or more efficient! She asked if we wanted the kids food out first which we absolutely did! She explained everything really well. Was very patient with us and our rowdy girls. Made suggestions for us and was overall a great server! We will be coming back here again simply because of her!! The great food was just a bonus.

Islands is somewhere I would not mind being marooned. The interior decor really embraces the island theme, with just the right amount of kitsch. There was a generous outdoor patio with heaters for you to sit and wait for your table. The happy hour hours were very generous in that they were 3p-close and for context I visited on a Sunday. I ordered the Kilauea burger which had black pepper and jalapeños smashed into patty. It had a good amount of spice, but was not over powering. My only knock against the burger was that I felt like it fell apart rather quickly. Which meant I needed napkins on standby. I would definitely eat at Islands again.

We love Islands! This location in particular is our new favorite! We've been to this location many different times and different days of the week, and the service is always the best we have ever experienced! They're friendly, attentive, and quick to get you your meal and as ordered! They don't make you feel rushed even if you're the last one in the restaurant. The food is delicious! We live coming here and listening to the music and watching the extreme sports videos playing on the screens. When there are sporting events, it would be nice if some of the screens would still play the extreme sports instead of whatever game is on so people could watch either one.

This Islands restaurant has some of the best burgers, fries, milkshakes, and chicken tenders ever in this part of Temecula. It is very delicious and affordable. I definitely recommend it!

Amanda was a great waitress! She took care of us and we had a very little wait for our food and refills. She was very personable and professional. We were sad we couldn't hear the Superbowl since their speakers didn't work as we were looking forward to that.

My family and I had an amazing experience at Islands in Temecula. The website said they were open until 9:30, but when we arrived, they had technically just closed — it turned out to be a Google listing issue. Even so, the manager Mike went above and beyond to make sure we were still able to come in and enjoy our meal. I was treating my family that night, and Mike made us feel completely welcome. His kindness and hospitality were top-notch from start to finish. We’ve been coming to Islands for years, but this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had. Today was my birthday and I did tell them which may have devastating effect on my review of them. Waiter made quick work of my order made so effective suggestions and I enjoyed the fries with cheese AND chili. She told me to modify the fries with the meal to reduce the price and because it was my birthday the removed the brownie and ice cream from my bill. Can't guarantee that last part but still pretty awesome.

Haven't been to an Island's in over 20yrs and the last time I went was to the one that was in Irvine. I have to say, I was impressed. I ordered the Toucan Burger with fries as well as the Island's Mango IPA. Everything across the board was great. I have zero complaints. Got seated almost instantly even though it was busy and really enjoyed my dinner.

We’ve visited this location a few times and it is always consistently good. This time I felt our server really went above to make me smile. I had a coupon for a free dessert for my birthday and our server actually came out with a candle on the cake for me. It seems like a small thing, but I hadn’t gotten a cake or anything otherwise and it really made my day.

We got there right at open. We were seated shortly after. When we sat down there was little mites all over. Our server notified manager and they got to it. When it is hot they come from outside so don't sit by the window. Drinks came and the lemonade freeze with a strawberry blended in is really good. I had the Maui burger which also was good. Me and my family enjoyed. Thanks very much.

Well, today was a bit disappointing. Our food really wasn't warm burger, hadn't really been cooked and we waited about an hour. It wasn't really crowded either. Maybe they were shorthanded. It seems like that happens. An awful lot these days. Of course Pricing has gone up like everywhere else

Not too busy but seemed to be a bit short staffed as service was kinda slow and not too attentive. I ordered a tuna sandwich and was disappointed in the canned tuna sandwich I received; I thought it would have been a filet. The food was alright despite my disappointment. The service was a little slow but friendly.

Always a good choice for a place to eat! Everything on the menu is great! Be sure to order fries ... they are an excellent addition to a burger or tacos. Great vibe here!

We like Islands and with the grandkids visiting we decided to DoorDash us some dinner from Islands. Our order included Kalua Pork Tacos, 2 Jr Waves with cheese, fries for both and the Bleunami Burger with bacon and Onion Rings on the side. Order arrived when promised, nothing missing. The Kalua Pork Tacos were pretty damn good. The Bleunami Burger was juicy, cooked perfectly and very flavorful as was the Onion Rings. Grandkids demolished their Jr Waves with cheese so we acknowledged that as a thumbs up from them. Price was pretty good for the quality and quantity of food. Even with delivery Islands provided us with a very good dinner. Easy 4 stars.

Our family is a huge fan of Islands! Unfortunately, our experience today was less than excellent. Our family of 7 was sat at a 6 person table; granted, we did have a couple of kids, but still, we were cramped. Initially, our waitress brought waters but then did not check on us again for a very long time. We had been ready and waiting to order. We would have gotten appetizers but by the time the waitress came around, we just wanted to get the order in. Because of this late order, our drinks came out at almost the same time as our food. Huge bummer for enjoying both. We asked for some additional sauces, but were brought less than asked for but again, didn’t want to bother asking again. Our waitress didn’t stop by again at all until the checks. We definitely didn’t get our drinks refilled. Figure this might’ve just been an off day or time for the waitress, but we still felt a little disappointed for such poor customer service. Update from 7/26/24 My husband and I went back and sat at the bar this time. The waitress obviously had too many tables to cover. We sat AT THE BAR waiting to order for 20 minutes. I’d ordered a burger, WELL DONE, with NO ONIONS. Burger came medium well WITH onions. We asked for our check when the food came out and we didn’t get the check until we were clearly finished with the food. Again, we love islands, but this location needs a lot of training for staff members to pay attention to details. Update from 9/1/25 Great experience! We sat at the bar and were excited to see a Mai Tai deal ($6) as well as new items on the lunch menu! We decided to try the Mediterranean Bowl - highly highly HIGHLY recommend! Tastes great and you feel great after.

My wife likes this place alot so we come every so often. But first time at this location. We came during the week and it was Happy hour so, they had specials on lunch menu items. I chose the Pulled pork sandwich w/ fries and she had the Hawaiian w/ fries as well. Both were awesome and perfectly cooked. We also shared an appetizer of Chips and Spinach with artichokes dip. All was great. Very reasonably priced and staff was great. Thanks guys. Definitely recommend.

Well it's a cool place and theme. I think it was ok the last couple times. But our fries were cold and I had even told the waitress that I came for the fries. It took more than 10 minutes to get some fresh hot fries and they were not that busy. Oh well for the prices I can't say I'll go again.

Unfortunately the french fries tasted old, like either old oil was used or they had been sitting for a long time. Bummer

The food was why were there and the food was not very good. Maybe just a bad night, but tasteless and dry. The Cosmo was good. The waitress was attentive and nice. One person sent back the tacos and the waitress remained attentive and even sweeter about all. Nice place just need to review their recipes and help the cook. Just disappointed tonight.

Placed an order via Ubereats and ordered the fish tacos. The fish was perfect and the ingredients were fresh, however, there was no sauce on my tacos. Terribly frustrating and disappointing. What would’ve been a perfect fish taco was too dry to eat and ended up in the trash. How do you forget to put sauce on the tacos?

This restuarant is always a good choice. All staff wore masks, service was quick and servers were friendly. The food is always good. We visited one in Long Beach several times and we weren't disappointed with the one in Temecula either. Kudos

Haven't been to Islands in years and probably won't be back anytime soon. The service was good and everyone was friendly. Ordered the Kilauea Burger with fries. The amount of pepper on the burger overshadowed every other ingredient it was like eating a spoonful of Pepper with every bite. The fries were decent, and their Island seasoning is good. They really need to update the menu nothing on it really stands out and makes you want to come back.

Our new go to for consistent affordable quality. Update Sept 2021. Food was okay, not great. Four people with one drink, two kids meals was $66. Not great. Fries are extra, and no longer served with your burger. $13 + $3 for the fries and things get expensive quickly.

Not sure what the deal is with this place. We went there for something simple & good for dinner. First, we were told a 30 minute wait. NP, but 40 minutes later we go in to get seated and notice it wasn't full. Second, we ordered our food, asking for our salads and soup to come out before our meals. 15 minutes later still no salad nor soup. Had to flag down two different servers(not ours) to ask for them. They finally brought them out another 5 minutes later without any napkins. Had to ask for napkins. I asked for S&P, but it never arrived, ever. My son asked for a refill that took two other times of asking before it was brought out. The meals were good other than the buns being either too toasted or stale(by this time, you're looking for more bad things than good). The server apologized a couple of times at the end which we appreciated, but the damage was done. Not sure why salads, soup, & refills took so long. We were told training but unfortunately, we probably won't return there. Food is great but the service needs A LOT of work.

Staff was friendly and attentive until food eventually arrived. My food and the kids food arrived fairly quickly, but my wife's veggie tacos took an extra 10 minutes to arrive. My burger was fine but the fries tasted old. When we were finished eating, the waitress took almost 15 minutes to return to check on us. I asked for the check and a to go box. Got the check a few minutes later but had to ask again for a box. Waitress offered free dessert due to the tacos coming late. We politely declined and just wanted to go. A manager came over as we were signing the check and gave us a $15 gift card. So though it was a less than great experience, it was nice of them to give us the gift card. Honestly though with all the places to get a burger, we are not likely to return.

My friends took me here for my birthday. Our waiter was really nice. We ordered drinks that were ok. The food was not that great. We ordered nachos, which they came out burnt. We ordered wings, not good at all. They did give me a birthday treat, which was really nice. We will never go back there again.

My drink was delicious and everything went well I got the tiki tenders and French fries, while eating them i notices they tasted a little off and an hour later I was nauseous and feeling horrible. Our server was great and kind and the place was super clean.

Review updated, previously 5 stars. I normally like Islands but something is off with the quality now. I got a toucan and the chicken tasted different than normal and the sandwich was very salty. The cheese fries also didn't have the normal amount of cheese. Not sure if this is a one off issue or if Islands is now skimping on quality to try to make more money either way really disappointing.

Very sad they brought out this overcooked grilled cheese for my daughter. I had to ask them to re-make it. Also, sad that french fries doesn't come with your burger and has to he purchased separately now.

Great food, terrible service. The food was great and the waitresses were friendly. Those are the only pros. Here are the cons. Management or process changes needed asap. I requested a booth, but apparently I was seated at a bar booth instead. Waited 30 mins to get my drink ordered. Waitress said the bartender was supposed to take my order. The bartender is 30-35 feet away from me…wait I’m at the bar?? Soup came with the meal, not before. Lukewarm not hot. Burger was undercooked even though I asked for medium well. I asked for it to be cut in half. Looked like they used their hands and not a sharp knife, burger torn apart.

I love this place so much so it sucks to have to leave a bad review but this was the worst service we have ever had here. We sat in the bar at around 5:30 ish and our waiter, tall guy with curly hair and purple shirt, didn't even introduce himself just jumped right into asking us what we would like to order and made us feel super awkward like we were bothering him. Welp, it didnt take us long to figure out that us being there was keeping him from flirting with the cocktail waitress. He never checked on our table except when we had to send the food runner to go get him or when we had to flag him down from across the room. As im writing this he is standing behind the bar chatting up the waitress. He is very distracted and needs to be reminded that guests come first and to not treat the restaurant as his dating pool. I honestly could have overlooked it if he was able to stay on top of his section but he chose to flirt instead of work. Very disappointing.

The fries were heavily over seasoned and my burger tasted like nothing but pepper I could hardly taste anything else. My girlfriend's burger tasted only like lettuce and there was no seasoning on the patty. It was not a pleasant experience at all. I used to love islands as a kid and this outing just ruined the image I had in my head of what it used to be. Not an enjoyable experience whatsoever and we will not be coming back

Grace was the waitress for my table and insisted everything we ordered was not on the menu & couldn’t order it. So we got the manager & she took the order no problem. Grace just wanted to be difficult and did not come back to fill drinks, or check on us one time. Very disappointed with this place and will not be returning.

Pretty bad experience tonight. Hadn't been in quite some time, waitresses were absolutely terrible, rude, irritated, and never even wanted to refill a drink. The food tasted disgusting, freezer burned chicken, ranch was watered down, and bowl tasted microwaved. I'd recommend going ANYWHERE else!
