If I could rate 10 stars I would! This cafe is amazing. I got the French Toast and Matcha and it was delicious. The French toast was gorgeous as well and as stated earlier is delicious. The cafe inside is beautiful and very clean and organized. The staff were super nice and welcoming. I recommend going here it is amazing!

Dove Café is a gorgeous retreat at the foothills of Trabuco Canyon with exceptional coffee, friendly staff, and cozy vibes. The latte and Benedict Eggs 🍳 are must-tries. Whether you’re working or unwinding, it’s the perfect neighborhood spot to savor and stay awhile.

Very nice cafe, very nice atmosphere. Clean and comfortable. I really liked my large iced vanilla latte. The menu has many delicious looking options (which I'll try at my next visit.) I heard it opened very recently which may explain limited pastry options.

Cute place for breakfast and coffee.

We ordered the Le Boeuf and La Capri sandwiches. Both delicious! Loved the homemade chips as well. It’s a lovely indoor/outdoor seating vibe in a quiet strip mall area. We were setting up to attend a wedding at the venue next door and it was a great option for a quick lunch. The close at 3 so plan accordingly.

Tried this for the first time today and the service was excellent. Paige made a delicious iced shaken espresso! Definitely coming back

Went for breakfast with family for a quiet breakfast, which it was. We sat outside and enjoyed the ambience and the food.

I loved my cinnamon roll latte here and the l’capri. L’capri is definitely a delicious find. The eggs Benedict was good the second time the bacon was just a little too crispy. New cafe opened in Dove Canyon plaza! Finally another breakfast spot in trabuco canyon! Visited during their first week - newly opened and not fully stocked yet but the main dishes, GF muffin, coffee and kombucha were all really good. Atmosphere is beautiful - lots of amazing design details. Accordion doors open to fresh air - awesome touch! Loved it! Only negative was that the bowl I ordered said it has sweet potatoes in it - the reason I ordered - but it had regular yellow potatoes. 😞 otherwise would have given 5 stars for sure. Can’t wait to see when they get bakery case fully stocked bc their GF muffin was to die for. Eggs Benedict (adding reg bacon) was really good. Owner was walking around greeting people - had a pleasant conversation with him. Very open, welcoming and gracious host. I wish huge success for him. My daughter visits nearly every day so on just her alone he can pay the rent! Ha! Highly recommend. Look forward to there maybe being umbrellas on patio so my dog can accompany - but honestly sit inside on first trip - you gotta see how pretty.

Question: Why was the warmed order not placed together with the other two orders since we mentioned all orders to be a “to go”? Food was ok. Seats outside had no umbrellas. Clean and organized. Looking forward to new creations in the menu.

A newcomer to the O.C. cafe scene. Fun and esthetically pleasing interior. Feel a sense of culture while enjoying a coffee and pastry.

The food was served cold, so had to send it back to be heated. Once heated it was fine. The service was not the best, as I had to ask more than once about my food, and it wasn’t at all busy when I was there. I was somewhat disappointed with Dove Cafe.

I placed my first online order at Dove Cafe last weekend. I was excited to try it for the first time because the food looked good and the online reviews were positive. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to expectations. I ordered a salted carmel latte and a le lafayette for my wife, and a morning market bowl for myself. The latte came out well in advance of the estimated pick up time, which would have been ok had the food come out soon thereafter. However, the food didn't come out ~15 minutes after the estimated pick up time. By the time I got home (less than 10 minutes away), my wife's latte was cold. Additionally, when I unpacked the food, I realized that I was given a Keep It Simple instead of a Le Lafayette. I immediately called the restaurant to inform the staff of the mix up, but no one answered the phone. I called a second time and no one answered. I left a voicemail, but no one returned my call. I sent a follow-up email and still haven't received a response nearly a week later. Either they're not paying attention or they don't care. Although the food was decent, the experience was underwhelming. The staff wasn't pleasant to interact with in person either. I'm hesitant to order again if this is the experience I should expect.
