It's worth going up to this rooftop in the late afternoon to enjoy the view, soak up the great atmosphere, and experience the professional service.
My wife and I spent the evening at the ATICO Tulum rooftop, it was extraordinary, a magnificent view and we met Alberto, a waiter with incredible friendliness and kindness! Professional and attentive, he allowed us to live our most beautiful evening in Tulum and it was great because it was our honeymoon!!!
We were part of a large group and many in our group spent a lot of time on the rooftop during our stay. Aloft catered a party on the Atico Rooftop for us one night. There are so many options for food and the view is gorgeous, but the star of the show is the outstanding service. Everyone who works here is phenomenal. Many times we were helped by Alberto, who took the time to talk to each of us and make sure we were having a good time. He even brought our little brother a Shirley temple and a homemade quesadilla! You can't get better service than that.
Had dinner here and ambiance was cool. Very well lit and not too busy for dinner on a weekday. Had the mini burgers and they didn’t disappoint. Fries were also very crispy, which I like. Ordered an OJ and it didn’t quite taste like what I was expecting. Seemed more like an OJ mixer from the bar but either way would recommend this place to have a chill dinner. Expect music and a nice breeze.
We spent a few days at the hotel, and on the second afternoon we took advantage of the rooftop views with a delicious meal paired with exquisite cocktails. The peaceful atmosphere, COVID safety measures, and the facilities made it a very special moment. ❤️

Food and view was good. However when we split the bill 3 ways between us, I was not impressed with how our waiter just added on a £5 tip to each payment!! Totalling £15 tip…. We said what’s that, and he said it’s a tip for me, so he took it upon himself to give him a tip. My meal was only £10 as well. Just thought it was a very snakey and made me not trust the place.
We tried to go for sunset, but when we got there we were told there was a $35 USD per person minimum spend. No thanks.
The bar has closed or been closed before 8pm every night we've been here.
The place was nice with pool but empty. It was asked us a minimum spend of 700 pesos per person (approximately 35€ per person) even for a quick drink before dinner at sunset. We understood why it was empty and we went out as soon as the request was made. We suggest to not to go for a drink.
Terrible!!! To access the site, they tell me the minimum purchase is 700 MXN per person! I'm sure I would have used it, but it's very unpleasant to be forced.
Margaritas tasted like Dawn dish soap, the service completely inattentive.
The music is trash
