The "salad bar" has way more than just salad. It also has: fruit, dessert, soup, pasta, meatballs, tacos, and nachos. It is a great all-you-can-eat buffet. Also, I think you can get cheese toast if you ask for it (I'm not sure what it is called, though. It might be "cheesy bread" or "cheesy toast" or something like that). The lady who took our order spoke English and Spanish, which is awesome. She is really nice.

What a great experience every time you come into this place. The steak is always perfect. The salad bar is always fresh. Monica is a great server. She has your drinks refilled before you can even ask. She is very pleasant. Every time we come in.

Went to sizzlers today and was met with the most amazing server named Angeline. She was so kind and welcoming to us being first timers in the restaurant. She was quick with refills of drinks and cheese toast and always came to the table with a smile. She even gave us recommendations for next time. Will for sure be coming back!

11/16/2025 Dinner for my Grandson Nico's 13th. I only had the salad bar,(everything was fresh) but my family had a variety of dinners incl. Lobster & steak. Everyone enjoyed their meal, no complaints. Note: I'm 67 and rarely go out to eat. It shocks me how the whole family used to dine for half the cost it is today. I haven't been to a Sizzler (Modesto)since 2004, then the lobster was terribly fishy, they insisted it was supposed to be. So I haven't returned to Sizzler for 21yrs until now, I'm glad they served the lobster fresh this time.

While in California for work I was pleasantly surprised to see Sizzler still in business. As a kid on Long Island, I remember going to Sizzler several times a year with my parents. I ordered the Ribeye steak ($39.99) along with a salad bar ($9.99). My wife ordered just the Ayce salad bar. Our waiter was Dom who had the best customer service l've seen compared to the Modesto Sizzler location. Dom always had a smile when he talked and was responsive to any requests. If you're lucky to have Dom as your waiter, it will make your dining experience way better. Ribeye with A1 was delish. The salad bar was clean and kept up. Definitely worth the drive to this Turlock location.

Turlock Sizzler is pretty much the only sizzler we go to anymore. Staff is great, food quality is solid as well. Our server tonight was Alondra and she earned every bit of the tip that we left. Service with a smile and checked up on us quite a few times, made sure drinks didnt run dry until we let her know we didn’t need anymore refills. Management at this location is great, and the staff that keeps up on the salad bar does a great job as well. Nothing but kudos for the Turlock Sizzler staff. I wanted to leave this review mainly to acknowledge Dominick’s excellent customer service and hopefully bring awareness to a small quality-control issue. We’d definitely consider coming back, especially with service like his.

Always a good option when you are not sure what you want. The salad bar always has something for everyone. Jethzali our server was on the ball and friendly.

The service was great. The food was ok. A bit overcooked. And the steak was dry. But my server Yadira was attentive and checked on me often.

Most of the food was decent, but the shrimp was definitely past its expiration date! They tried to make it out by giving us more shrimp, but unfortunately, it wasn't a cooking issue. It was a quality issue. We just couldn't eat it.
