Fresh and good Fast service getting food
Great service from Daniel my previous review was one star five years ago, i decided to go back and give it a second try. Wow is all i can say. The young man was very polite and helpful. Our order was a 20 piece fill up meal. We wanted to eat at the restaurant but wanted it to go cause it was too much food for me and my wife. Not only did he accommodate us but he also gave us plates to eat on while we where in.
The service at the walk up counter was OK. The Chicken Sandwich is excellent . It’s a great price ($4.00) for a really delicious thick chicken sandwich. The French Fries ($2.79) are some of the best. Nicely cooked but tender. Wish the serving size was larger. The about can be purchased separately or As a combo which includes a watered down Pepsi.

I ordered a 2 piece meal that came with 2 legs, mashed potato and gravy and a biscuit. As I waited, a staff member informed me that it would be a few minutes as the chicken was being cooked fresh at that moment, no problem for me 😋. I chose to eat my meal in my car. With regards to the food, the chicken, mash and biscuit were all hot and fresh. At some locations the meal would be medium or sometimes the mash and biscuit would be luke warm or cold. The customer service was great and seemed like a great environment as the staff had great attitudes. The place was clean and nicely decorated. Would definitely come back to this location due the great customer service and food. Keep it up Upland KFC! Wheelchair access and bathrooms on premises. Plenty of indoor seating and there is some outdoor seating as well.
Very clean restaurant, restrooms are clean, you do need to ask for the key. The food is great service is good. And fast. I like this location. Not too busy. And they have a big parking lot.

The chicken, mashed potatoes, and gravy were outstanding, as always. The service, however, was lacking. Before I left the store, I checked to make sure my order was complete. The mashed potatoes are now in a black, polypropylene container, and it looked like it was only mashed potatoes, with no gravy. I asked the cashier who packed the order if the gravy was in with the mashed potatoes, and he said yes. When I reached my car, I checked the mashed potatoes, opening the container. Lo and behold, there was no gravy. I returned to the store and the manager apologized for the mix up and gave me the gravy. A warning to the wise, check your order before you leave. I visited the Upland, California, restaurant on Foothill Boulevard.
I detest automated ordering. I am not paid to suss out my choices on different systems at every different brand. If KFC ever goes fully automated drive-thru I will cease to be a customer.
The food taste was very delicious but the service was awful. I ordered via drive through, the person who took my order was very forgetful. We ordered 3 famous bowl combos, 2 large. They gave us the wrong sized drinks, they only gave us 2 cookies instead of 3 to go with the combos. They forgot to give us the biscuits that are supposed to come with the combo also. To top it off, they did not put any napkins or utensils until I nearly drove off and noticed first and had to ask. I would have went back but I was driving a long distance and had happened to stop at this location. Sad to say this experience was disappointing.
I have visited this KFC location several times now and each time I have been provided with very fast service. The inside of this KFC is very well maintained and overall presentable. The management here is very professional and courteous but the non management staff here really have a few lessons to learn about professionalism and customer service. No matter how stressed anyone maybe at their work place it is always unacceptable to let it effect the customer service they are expected to provide. Other than that I say it is a good place to have your meal.
Place is mostly clean. Food has always been hot when I order it. Staff sometimes can not be the "happiest" when you are at the register, but nothing out the ordinary for a fast food place. Only issue I would say is that I've always come across what seem to be homeless/vagrants on the property or inside as patrons. Never have had an issue with them, but I always keep an eye on my car and things.
Order took longer than usual and no one seem to care, including manager.
I hate to be that guy but be careful. My girlfriend and I both got food poisoning. We've eaten here many times but the aftermath of our last visit was pretty rough. They did give us a refund and were very nice and apologetic, but still, be aware. We got double down sandwiches and the new Mac and cheese and the new chicken nuggets.
Well, at least the food was good because the service in the drive thru was horrible. It was close to 6 pm when we went through. First the guy was like a broken record and stuck on raspberry ice tea. Then he wasn't very nice when giving him my card and him giving my order. Also did not receive a receipt, no condiments, no napkins, no wet wipes or anything was even offered. The guy definitely gave the "I hate my job!" vibe.
I went thru the drive thru around 4 on Thursday 11/10. I ordered 2-2 piece chicken meals thighs only, with coleslaw and mashed potatoes. Why did I not get my thighs or coleslaw??? They didn't give me receipt when the gave me back card an no napkins. How do you not get napkins when eating the KFC?? Please!! So dissatisfied.
Out of crispy chicken for an hour.. employee didnt know if thay had real butter (or margarine) homeless guy wrapped in blanket sleeping in a booth for an hour or more.

7/29/24 - Update: Not much change here, food is ok, but drive thru service is still poor.. no receipt, no utensils, and person no where to be found after handing me my food without even a word. Owner/manager of this location, you may want to retrain your staff or you will lose business because of unhappy customers. === Drive thru was really slow, not sure if they were short staffed on Sunday. Drive thru person was lazy, didn't want to hold out the Apple pay device further and I couldn't reach out any more due to my bad shoulder. I had to ask for her to do this before readjusted the length of her device stick. She then handed me the drink and later food without a word. Not even a sorry about that or have a nice day. And she forgot to give me my receipt. I live in Upland, but I won't be giving my local KFC any further business for now. They have decent quality food, but bad service. I'll keep going to the San Dimas KFC instead, it's on the way home from work and they have much better service.

Tables and chairs are dirty. Everything is dirty there. I wait in line a little bit to get service. There is enough parking place there. Not too hard to find. I want a chicken breast. Ordered a 16 pc original. All sides were great. Clerk said they only had legs and thighs. This was ok since these are our favorites. However, chicken was either over done and/or sitting out for some time. This is not the QUALITY KFC chicken the family is used too. Something is wrong at this store!

I was just there with my husband ordering drive thru & your employee Rachael gave my husband his change back but dropped his change. She seen what she did, actually looked down & didn’t even apologize. She aggressively gave my husband our bag of food & closed the window. We asked for our receipt since we did not get one & because it would have her name on it. Whether it’s your day or not, don’t be rude to people. I worked in customer service before, her attitude was not polite & I do not know how people like that get hired on ti good companies. I hope your employee Rachael understands that your attitude can make companies look very, very bad.
Dining room looks gross. This one location could use a little Colonel Sanders kick A$$. I feel bad, not because the employees don’t care. They are nice. It is because they may not know better. Corporate should take a look or not.
Ridiculously slow and apathetic service. Dirty front and back. I ordered (tried to get 2 pot pies but they only had 1 & said it would take 30 minutes for more!) so we ordered 2 Go-cups and the 1 pot pie and then we waited for 10-15 minutes without anyone at the counter (customers behind me left during that time) and no explanation as to what was taking so long. Meanwhile, other employees (and the Manager it turns out) see me motioning that I want help but just stare at me with no expression or response! Then a gentleman comes in and says he has been waiting for a large order in his car for over 30 minutes. He also said he was warned by his son not to go here and that this location used to be packed but it was empty so I guess the word is getting out that they suck. So I leaned around the counter to ask for someone, the cashier says they are having trouble with the fryer and she walks away from the front again. Waited another 10 minutes for someone to come to the counter so I could ask for a refund. Manager is apathetic, says she thought the cashier told me what the problem was. I said yes but not til I (my husband got irritated after the first 10 minutes and went to the car so it’s just me now) asked what was going on and that you and employees were just staring at me the whole time without any answer, apology or anything. She says a pathetic sorry and shrugs her shoulders. Needless to say - We won’t be back!
Don't waste your time. The chicken was dry. I ordered all dark meat. I received all white meat, and it was dry. This is not the first time they mess up my order. Ugh, very frustrating after a long day, you think take out. Well definitely don't go to this location.
Boooooo! The manager when we went worked the drive-thru window and LITERALLY stood there hanging on the window asking everyone else to hand her things! She didn't even make her own change, she handed it to another employee to do for her and since we paid cash, she had a different employee come tell us in the front parking lot (since the said our order would take 5 additional minutes), that we hadn't been charged! They didn't even give us a receipt! Thank goodness we knew how much we were charged, how much we had paid and had not put away the change yet! They then took 15 additional minutes to get us our food, which I had already walked in for but, though we specifically asked for sauces, they didn't include them, so I was responsible for that as well.... We get home to find that our mac n' cheese AND biscuits were missing! Total BS!
I went here tonight at around 8:00 pm and we weren't sure if they were still serving ppl through the drive thru so we ended up asking. The lady who was trying to answer to my aunts question got interrupted by a male worker in the background and you were able to hear him through the speaker that he was making fun of my aunts question and was mocking her. My aunt, being a polite lady just ordered her food but then she had questions about the fries if they had seasoning and the lady who was taking our order ended up answering her sarcastically. Very inappropriate. The manager should definitely have their people know some manners
It was horrible experience. The person who took my order didn't put it through. Then I approached the next drive through window, the person told me I don't have my order. So he took my order again. When he handed me my food, I opened and checked. The biscuit was missing. Overall experience is not good at all Will not go back there again.
i ordered a special for 14 pieces of chicken and got only 9 on top of that tbey were 7 legs and 1 thigh i went back and they gave me the chicken that was hard as a rock that had no flavor i paid 36.00 i i got nonapkins i have never had any complaints ever im 65yrs old but now im not sure ill ever go back i did make a complaint this was a drive thru experience
I won't go here ever again. Luckily I don't live nearby. The staff here don't have a concept of what good customer service is. Clearly they don't take pride in their work. I ordered from the drive through only to realize they messed up my order after I left. I drove back and walked into the restaurant to get my missing item. I neglected to realize I didn't get my receipt at the drive through so the staff "disappeared" to the back supposedly trying to pull up a record of my order on the computer. No one told me that's what they were doing. When I asked if there were getting my item I was finally told what was going on. They kept me waiting and really could care less that I was in a hurry. Avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other places nearby. I can't imagine other places being worst than this.

Found a hair in my food, when I took it in to show them they didn’t look too bothered by it. All I wanted was a refund and when I asked for it, they said they couldn’t do it because I made a mobile order online. They said I had to call customer service to get my refund, but no one ever answered the phone there. Ultimately I had to contact my credit card company to reverse the charges. * Eat here at your own risk. *
Dear people. Let me tell you about the people that work in this place. It took 20 minutes for them to take my order. And then 2 lady's came in after me I am waiting for my order,well the two that came in after me they got their order. So I asked where is my order, and the guy said oh you don't have your order yet, so I wait in total 45 minutes. And that is not all the chicken was raw. I have to clean the table myself so I can eat. All the tables were dirty, the bathroom no soap to wash your hands. The manager Priscilla yokeing around and laughing so loud, the soda fountain super dirty. The workers very rude with customers. I feel sad for the owner of this place.
Today was the second time I went there in 3 days. First time I ordered a Nashville hot. Got the sandwich drenched in sauce. Bun had sauce all over it. Today, I ordered a something Gold sandwich, again it was drenched in sauce. After complaining, they gave me another sandwich. It was not fully cooked in the center. Counter by the soda machine was filthy, garbage everywhere. It was very slow, employees didn’t even look to see if it needed to be cleaned. I am amazed at the Manager of this store.
All KFCs are bad these days but this is one of the worst, we will often times come 2 hours before close and they will be ALL OUT OF chicken for Night?!? This has happend so many times it’s crazy. How can a chicken place be out of chicken so often?! Like it’s literally what you are known for. Someone is dropping the ball at this location and I would not recommend coming here.

The sandwiches were given the wrong chicken wings, which were overcooked and juicy. The chicken legs were the same – they were all awful.
Got Hot wing for my 93 year old aunt. She love the KFC wings BUT, they were so old and hard she or I could not eat them. I wanted to take them back, but to much traffic. I called the manager and let them know that they should be ashamed to serve customers that mess. He said they will do better. Upland, at mountain and foothill. I want my money back! $28.00, the nerve.
Not good service @ 13:30 on January 21/22. I ordered the new beyond chicken 🐔nuggets. This is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever eaten. The price is a total ripp-off for $8.07 I doubt even dogs would eat it. Very soggy crust saturated with oil. The server uses the same glove to handle everything like your food, cash, door handles and the card machine. No receipt was offered and $8.07 for 6 very small nuggets.
If I could give it a 0 star rating I would! The cashier is super slow and the service is horrible as well they messed up my order. While eating my food I found a huge piece of plastic so I had to go back and let them know. The manager also seems kind of rude, corporate should really look into the service of this place. And let's not talk about the outside there was trash all over the parking lot.

Maya and the female in the red shirt are very bad with customer service and are very RUDE. We ordered a 4 piece meal but they only gave us 3 pieces. Also the biscuit was crumbled into pieces. It was a honest mistake. Really no big deal. I guess it was a big deal to these two females. They said that I was lying about the biscuit being that way. Basically said we’re the ones that crumbled the biscuit. Why would we do that? It makes no sense.
