Bareburger was an impromptu lunch spot that was unexpectedly great! We got the standard burger, and it was only $15 for the burger, fries + a drink during lunch (usually $21). All around solid burger. The fries were perfection - crispy and salty. Ranch was great. Our soda was very flat but that’s okay. Service was beyond good, top notch. The menu was huge, so many options for different types of meat, buns, toppings, etc. A great find!

Excellent service! The burgers were delicious with great flavor, the meat was amazing, and the best part is that they have a very healthy kids’ menu. The service was outstanding—they were always attentive to everything we needed. I loved it and will definitely come back!

The beef wasn't as impressive as other top-notch burger places in Manhattan, but the Elkasaurus (first picture) was fantastic! The real groundbreaking discovery was the prime black angus dry-aged beef. That stuff is UNIMAGINABLY good (third picture, custom burger). Overall, excellent selection of meats, natural and impossible, all the toppings you could ever want, and good service.

BAREburger, thus the papier-mâché masks of BEARS on the walls (nice pun!), and other zany decorations. Friendly waitstaff. No biggy, but if a Sprite is ordered, the customer should be informed that you serve another comparable product. About four local microbrews on tap. Tasty fries and clean bathroom. Tables al fresco when in season.

We’re visiting from Texas and absolutely loved this place! The waitress (Andrea) was wonderful, she was super helpful and even took the time to answer our questions about the subway, which we really appreciated. The food was AMAZING, so good we didn’t leave a single bite on the plate. If we ever make it back to New York, we’ll definitely be back!

In a pinch I really like this place and chain overall. I like it because you can indulge and feel good about it. My go to is the sweet potato, kale and wild rice patty with a gluten free or flax bun. I love that they fry it up good so the patty is crispy on the outside. The special sauce is really good too. I prefer this veggie patty over the black bean for anyone debating between the two. I like to do pick up from here on the week days when I don’t feel like cooking at night or you could sit down and eat too.

This place doesn’t deserve just a 4.7 rating — it deserves a full 5.0, or even more! The staff and the chef are amazing. We found this spot thanks to Google reviews, and it truly lived up to the hype. The burgers were incredible — we even ordered a second one right away. As for the onion rings, they were hands down the best I’ve ever had in my life. The staff were also super friendly — they even turned off the AC just for us and gave us a great table. So helpful and welcoming. If you’re ever in New York, this spot is a must for burgers! And they have plenty of other great options beyond just burgers too.

We decided to visit Central Park and grab a burger, which led us to this spot. At first glance, when we walked into the restaurant, it felt like a typical fast-food place—light and casual. But once we sat down and started talking with the staff, our assumptions were completely shattered. The staff were incredibly—times a hundred—friendly and genuinely passionate when explaining the menu. You could tell they were proud of the food they serve. Every question we had was answered clearly and confidently. We went during happy hour, and they recommended a deal where we could choose three items for $18. We initially thought the portions might be small and considered ordering extra burgers, but they kindly advised us not to—so honest! :) We trusted their suggestion, and they were right. It was more than enough food for two people. As for the taste, the smash burgers were easily among the best we’ve ever had. If you’re walking through a park in NYC and get a little hungry, this is a fantastic stop for a delicious and affordable burger. Highly recommend!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at BareBurger! The food was delicious, and I truly appreciated the variety of gluten-free options available. The burgers, fries, and popcorn chicken all tasted fantastic—light, flavorful, and never greasy or grainy. The milkshake was semi-sweet and organic, which was an added bonus, and I was excited to see they even offered gluten-free beer. What really stood out to me was the attentive and knowledgeable staff. They were incredibly accommodating and made sure my gluten-free allergy was well taken care of. The overall atmosphere and service made this visit memorable, and I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious, allergy-friendly food served with great hospitality!

We visited Bar Burger this evening with our family. The area was very packed, and service was slow at first. Unfortunately, the hostess with blonde hair experience was disappointing, the booth section wasn’t offered to us until another customer arrived and there were no other seating options left, even though it seemed we could have had that choice earlier. The host also came across as a bit aloof and more focused on chatting with coworkers than engaging with guests. That said, our server truly turned the experience around. She was attentive, kind, and thorough when taking our order. Honestly, she would have made a much stronger host than the one who greeted us. The environment itself is small, intimate, and cozy, which we enjoyed. The food was delicious, filling, and satisfying — a great option when you want to step up from fast food without committing to an overly expensive night out. It felt like a solid middle ground for a family dinner for four. Overall, great food and a wonderful server, but the front-of-house experience could definitely be improved.

Not up to Bareburger standards. 1st time dining at this location burger was dry and lacking flavor and the truffle fries were way off the mark. The onion rings were the one positive dish. Probably would not return

I had the Guadalupe burger with sweet potato fries. Both items were pretty run of the mill. It ended up being a bit more expensive than I would've liked for the portion sizes.

Overrated. First of all, the service was fine. But we came for the food and it was not at all an expected rating 4.9 from google map. We went on a regular Thursday noon for lunch. We ordered three burgers: Supreme, Standard, The National; a kid meal Grizzly, and a side order popcorn chicken. The burgers tasted nothing special, although I would say it’s fair the quality of meat might be fine but that’s all I can comment. The popcorn chicken was plain and bit dry. Lots of leftovers from ours and the table next to us.
