BJ's Folsom Reviews
We always enjoy coming to BJs. Today we had an amazing waitress named Trinity that waited on our table.. She was amazing, great customer service. she was very pleasant and quick to respond. We definitely will ask for her section on our next visit.
Waitress Lexus was wonderful so calm and thorough and so pleasant we will definitely return!
We had a wonderful experience at this BJ's restaurant. We had a large party (with last minute reservation changes). Our group was seated quickly, the food was delicious, and our server, Jasmine R., was amazing. Thank you so much for your flexibility and for your excellent customer service. Hats off to the entire team!
SEE PIZZA UPDATE BELOW!! Always a great selection of beer, but the lunch specials and daily deals Mon-thurs really make this a great choice. The unlimited soups(3) and salads (3) is an amazing mix and match fest. All delicious. Update needed! June 17 2025 While a large pizza is one of the Perks when you are a member of the Beer Club, which I joined immediately, the pizzas didn't really compete with dedicated pizza joints. AMAZING PIZZA NEWS This BJs location is one of only 12 in the country to beta test a whole different product and at price point about $10 less than previous! Got my first yesterday and discussed it all with the very personable Manager Issac while he was out supporting the friendly but busy waitstaff like Robin our wonderfully friendly gal. Completly new recipe for the crust creates a crisp bottom and great outer edge in contact with the rim of the deep dish pan, but rises with noticible tiny air pockets, keeping the inside soft with a great lighter texture. The toppings go all the way to the edge and are cut finer, so they adhere better to the more generous amount of sauce they use now. They even splash on spots of sauce after topping for example the BJs favorite. No more big chunks of sausage rolling off a tough exposed crust. Had to share this news!! Real game changer. I went 1/2 and 1/2 Favorite and Bacon Chicken Ranch. Both sides outstanding. Reheats in air fryer to perfect crispiness. Of course, it's hard to beat the 8 different $13 weekday meals, including your mini pizookie.
I just went today (Saturday), met up with my brother to watch the Warriors-Lakers game [sorry Warriors fans, they lost by 30 (grimaced)]. We arrived at 5:30p, waited only about five minutes before being seated. Plenty of TVs to watch the game. Atmosphere was lively and nearly full but not too noisy. Our server was Matthew H. This man was friendly, very attentive, and accommodating. My brother and I started off with the Loaded Nachos w/tri-tip and root beer (my first glass was not fizzy but the refill was). My gawd, the nachos was definitely loaded (see pic). It was served on a pan that's like the size of a X-Large pizza. We didn't finish it; I had to take about 1/3 home afterwards. Maybe four people would have finished it? After the nachos, we ordered the tri-tip (juicy) and grilled chicken (nothing to say); the sides were sauteed green beans (crispy, not burned) and fries (a bit salty). It's funny how the entrée cost more than the appetizer but the portion was much less. I also ordered a bottle of Lindemans Framboise, a Belgian raspberry beer. Because I'm not much of a beer drinker, I was thankful for its 2.5% ABV; very tolerable for my taste. We left after halftime. Overall, a 9/10 experience at least. Oh parking, the lot was about 90% full.
Katie was so on it, super attentive and timely, food was amazing as always. They have it nicely decorated for the holidays as well, nice vibes.
I do not usually make posts or reviews, but Eric was an excellent server, went out of his way to make us feel well taken care of. If you ever go here, just ask for Eric. He makes a very amazing, enjoyable, and relaxed dining experience.
xander was a sensational waiter. he gave me so many compliments and i truly had a fun time. he made a good experience a terrific experience and all his recommendations were so good. I have never had a better waiter. All my desires were taken care of before I even asked and he constantly made sure we were taken care of; it’s like he could read my mind! I don’t know how Bjs has found someone like Xander but they cannot lose him. Truly the best waiter ever!!!
Great atmosphere and really nice waitress. I was here with a very large group, and she did a great job taking care of us. Apparently they make their own root beer here, and it tastes great and made me feel warm inside, plus there's free refills. I ordered the ahi tuna salad, and it's fresh with an assortment of ingredients that made it very flavorful. Be careful, the green dabs of sauce around the plate is wasabi, don't mistake it for a minty green sauce or avocado.
We had the prime rib and it came from a pre-sliced piece of beef. Absolutely terrible
Preface: I have a non-celiac gluten intolerance. I am HIGHLY sensitive, I usually can't even eat anything that's processed in the same factory as items that contain gluten. That being said we are on vacation and I took a chance on BJs because they have many items marked as GF. The waitress recommended the cauliflower crust pizza because she thought it tasted better than regular, and customers love it. She wasn't wrong! I got BBQ chicken on the cauliflower crust and it was SO good. I was concerned because I forgot to ask if they use separate equipment for baking their GF pizzas. I also had an entire GF pazookie to myself and not only did it still taste amazing, I'm well into the next day and I haven't even had a twinge of joints aching- which is huge! Generally I'll start reacting within hours of eating gluten. Obviously it's still a shared kitchen so cross contamination is going to be a risk but I'm glad I took a chance this time! And our waitress Kayla B #207 was so awesome and helpful, and super understanding with our ND kiddo.
Excellent service, our waiter Makenna made sure we were very well taken care of so did the management to make sure that everything was going accordingly. It was a very nice atmosphere the staff was very friendly and the food came out pretty quick. I would definitely recommend this location. Also shout out to the bartender Alex for making a tasty drink!.
Brian was an absolute superstar! From the moment we walked in, he treated us like VIPs, ensuring every detail of our dining experience was flawless. His warm, welcoming energy made us feel right at home, and his knowledge of the menu was impressive—every recommendation was spot on! He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, refilling drinks and checking in at just the right moments. It’s rare to find a server who goes above and beyond with such genuine enthusiasm and professionalism. Brian didn’t just serve us a meal—he gave us an unforgettable experience. If I could give more than five stars, I would!
5 Stars BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse – Folsom, CA Had a fantastic experience thanks to Maggie Logue! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about everything on the menu — from the beers to the entrées. You can tell she takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about the guests’ experience. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her upbeat attitude made the whole visit even better. I’ll definitely be coming back because of her. BJ’s is lucky to have someone like Maggie on the team!
I normally don’t EVER take the time to do these reviews for restaurants, but I was just absolutely blown away by our service today. Our waitress Makenna was extremely polite and generous to my family and I, celebrating a night out after an awards ceremony. She without hesitation grabbed anything we asked for, refilled our drinks without being asked and was super personable all night. It was really the cherry on top for us. Side note: the pazookies are to DIE for!
Got the new brisket deep dish nachos. A little disappointed they changed from the bigger platter because it had more topping to chip ratio. With the deep dish there are a lot of chips in the bottom that do not get toppings. The prime rib dip was delicious. The peanut butter smore pizookie is the best pizookie they have ever made and I hope it becomes permanent.
Our 1st time at this BJ location, very nice experience for my pre-birthday lunch with my bestie, $34.99 prime rib special comes with 3 sides and one dessert, recommend medium rare for tenderness, $16 mini pizza is a bit pricy, the waiter leading us to the table was very nice however later the girl server made it up for us with excellent 5 stars service, expect to have a perfect experience next time, great location in front of the Broadstone plaza, american tire, ashley furniture, Ross, Home Depot, American furniture, Michael’s, Marshall’s, Old Navy, Tilly…
Our server, Alaina W. was truly amazing. She made our meal a memorable experience. We will definitely be back.
We met some old friends for dinner tonight and had a super time. A lot of that had to do with our server, Allie. She was truly amazing, very attentive and professional . You could not ask for better service!!
I frequent BJ's a lot! I always have a good experience any time I go there. This time it was 3 steps above the rest! Kayla was my server. Best service ever! She was super attentive and polite! She made sure the drinks were filled, food was out and hot, and made sure everything was to my liking. All of this while providing the same service to 4 other tables! Thank you Kayla!
The hubby and I went for dinner on a busy Saturday evening and from the moment we walked in, the experience was excellent. We were greeted promptly by the host and our server, Maya V, was wonderful. She was attentive without being overbearing, always polite, and had a warm smile throughout our visit. She answered all our questions and made sure our drinks were never empty. There was a large party of 15 to 20 very rowdy teenagers nearby but the manager handled the situation calmly and professionally, which helped maintain a pleasant atmosphere for everyone else. I usually avoid ordering steak at restaurants because I like mine well done with no pink and it’s often either burnt or undercooked. But tonight I decided to take a chance and I’m so glad I did. It was cooked perfectly, juicy, flavorful, and exactly how I like it. The hubby got the blackened salmon and was not disappointed. He said it was seasoned just right and cooked beautifully. Overall, a great dining experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back.
Amazing Service and Great Vibes! I had such a great experience at BJ’s! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and super attentive. Our server went above and beyond—constantly checking in, making great menu recommendations, and making sure everything came out just right. The food was delicious (can’t go wrong with the pizookie for dessert!), but the customer service truly made the visit memorable. You can tell the team really cares about the guest experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!
Alaena went above and beyond for my girlfriend and I’s anniversary. Great service really changes your experience at an established and I am very impressed and happy. Thanks Alaena!
My wife and I just finished dinner at BJ’s and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our waiter Ezekiel was awesome and the food was fantastic!
I had a truly outstanding dining experience at BJ's restaurant! The Orange Cream Soda and Fresh Strawberry Margarita were the perfect thirst quenchers. The Chicken Pot Stickers were a delightful appetizer, and the Chicken soup and salad were incredibly flavorful. The BJ's Brewhouse Bowl was a true highlight. Everything was awesome, and I'm looking forward to my next visit to savor these delicious dishes again!
Issac was amazing when it came to placing our order and making sure he got everything correct When it was time to pick it up, Shannon made sure we had everything and then some! Everyone at this location was SO sweet! The food was delicious Definitely will be going back
I've like many ate at BJ'S all over this country. Today I easily had the best service ever. Ezechial slayed. My wife and I ordered for ourselves and two kids and he was so quick and prompt with everything plus punctual with everything! Again. Best service I've had in any BJ's and not even close. Not because others are bad, he was just that good.
We visited the Arden Fair Mall today and stopped by BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse for some lunch and drinks. It was our 1st visit and what stood out immediately was the nice, warm ambiance. The upper bar area is open seating so we found a table and got comfortable. The restaurant was relatively busy during the lunch hour but we were greeted by a server within a few minutes who took our drink orders. It took a longer time thanks expected to receive our drinks. When he finally returned we ordered lunch. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich w/ fries and my wife the prime rib dip sandwich w/ fries. Both items were absolutely scrumptious! Good service, nice ambiance, multiple beers on tap and a full bar! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Mckenzie was such a nice waitress. She regularly checked on us and made us feel comfortable. We got the tuesday $5 pizookie and they were great. I got the strawberry shortcake one and I would highly recommend. Go Kenzie!
Matt was an amazing server. We came in on a Friday not long before a party of 16 was seated. Matt was able to juggle us, the large party and whatever other tables he had. He was helpful with recommendations on food, checked on our refills and was still able to banter with us.
McKenzie was absolutely amazing. She gave great service and she’s down to earth. Such a sweet server for sure. I’ll be back just because of her!!!
Came in around 10ish by myself and went to the bar. The Bartender Brian has made my dining experience so much better! He deserves a raise for sure! Also, I got the sliders during happy hour, and it was so good!
Lexus our waitress was absolutely wonderful—friendly, personable, and incredibly attentive. She gave great food suggestions and made us feel genuinely welcomed the entire time. Her positive energy truly enhanced our experience, and we really appreciated her care and professionalism. Will be back soon!!!
I came here for my girlfriend and I’s anniversary and it was a great experience! The night became even better after having Alaena as our server. She was very attentive and got us taken care of respectfully and quick! Coming back again because of her.
We had lunch at the Folsom restaurant and our server. Anthony was by far the best ever. He was polite, professional, and efficient and just seem like an all-around nice man. If we come back, we will definitely ask for Anthony and I hope you do too if you read this review
Great atmosphere. Decent pricing. Nice people who work here. Special thanks to Adam P, our server who was very personable and attentive. Fridays can be a long wait, so please be mindful of that. Other than that. The service was impeccable. The manager came around to apologize for the wait. It’s nice to see that.
Celebrated my son’s 40th tonight. There was 7 of us and it took us some time to order. Eric was the best! Very patient and just the right amount of attention. Food was good and we didn’t have to wait long. Oh and did I mention that the portions were plentiful. Thanks Eric and BJ’s for the great food and service!
Shout out to our server FAITH. Tonight we went in late, around 845/9pm & it was swamped with teenagers everywhere! First time meeting Faith. Had my kids, grandkids & we were celebrating my son-in-laws 32nd birthday. Faith had us all seated FAST. She was super nice, patient & got our drinks, food, dessert out to us so quick! And we had my four grandkids & she was awesome! Thank you FAITH. Keep it up!
We love BJ's! It's always our comfort place. We love their salads, main courses & kids menu and of course their to die for Pizookies. We always feel satisfied with their service, food portions & prices as well as the ambience of the place. You get your money's worth all the time. You will never go wrong with BJ's. It's like a happy place for good food & service all at one.
McKenzie was our server tonight and she was FANTASTIC!! Very attentive to food and drink needs. She was also very friendly with our group and kept the upbeat and fun vibe! Thank you SO much McKenzie and happy belated birthday!!
Our waitress, Alaena, was awesome! Food was great! The only downside was being sat at a dirty table when the restaurant was half empty. Silverware and table were sticky. Rather than have your patrons stand beside a dirty table while you sweep all the trash onto the floor, perhaps you could just take them to a clean table elsewhere.
Garrett provided us with perfect service. The pizza and wings were delicious, but the jambalaya and slow roasted tri tip did not quite live up to our expectations… overall a great experience!
Kinsey's service made the experience enjoyable. Wedge Salad was very good. Chef needs to pay closer attention to customer requests. Steak was Med Rare instead of rare as requested and order was missing the garlic butter, however the steak tasted very good and Kinsey responded quickly to bring the missing garlic butter.
Wife and I were greeted upon entry and seated immediately on a Thursday at lunchtime. Friendly and efficient service Our entree and desert were very tasty. Extensive menu. I had the seared ahi salad and my wife had shrimp scampi. Desert we shared a small hot fudge brownie. Delicious‼️ We will return.
We had a party of four and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their evening. The food was delicious, outdone only by the excellent service! Our server returned an envelope containing $$$ which a member of our party had accidentally dropped on the floor. Five out of five across the board and we will definitely be returning.
I must say that my family and I had a great experience, our server Carly was outstanding, very pleasant and prompt, she knew the menu very extensively and provided an excellent service, I truly commend her. On the other hand, the food could have been cooked a little better, for example: the asparagus were still hard, just needed a minute or two more to be perfectly cooked. The tri tip and primerib were a bit cold and undercooked, hut overall the flavor was there. In general, Bjs is a nice place for family, I truly hope that the next time we visit the dining experience will be as outstanding as our server Carly 😀
I specifically dropped in over the weekend for the prime rib special. I was hankering for prime rib. I know… BJs ain’t a steakhouse. So how good is the prime rib? Well, it was not bad at all. It was tasty with simple, classic flavors. It wasn’t amazing, earth shattering delicious nor awful. BJ only offers prime rib on Fridays and Saturdays after 4 pm and all day on Sunday. For $35, you get a 15 oz cut with soup or salad, two sides and a pizookie. I ordered the meat cooked medium rare with a green salad and sides of a baked potato and pencil asparagus. The green salad was a larger than expected serving size. It looked and tasted fresh. The meat came out cooked a perfect medium rare. It was super tender. Simple, tasty classic flavors. Keeping it old school and simple. The au jus and creamy horseradish could have been jazzed up a bit more as well. I had to remind myself to save room for dessert. I ordered the brownie sundae pizookie. Warm brownie pizookie topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Mmm. It was gorgeous. Decadently delicious… sugar overload! That brownie was darn good. Hubs had a mini pepperoni pizza. It was pan baked, giving it a buttery flaky crust. He enjoyed it. But complained about the size and price. It was kids size (not from the kids menu) and was priced close to $16. Our server was Lucas, he was an outstanding server. Great attitude and very on point. He was training another server, Jordan. They both were great. But overall, the restaurant was understaffed and unable to seat everyone right away even though there was ample seating. So that’s great that they are training more staff.
My grown up kids enjoy it. But the food was subpar. Over priced for a frozen meal experience. Waitress was swamped but understandable for the time but she did well. I use to service/ HVAC Refrigeration, this and all the BJ's and I know better. Mentioned it was my daughter's birthday, nothing. With the reservation only a ten min wait.
When you need a place to go with a large menu, this is the place. Its like every large chain restaurant. Offers large menu, local beers on tap, friendly staff. We liked our waitor its just our appetizers took awhile and the second round of drinks took forever. Would go back and would know what to expect. Good standard Moscow mule.
Let me start off with saying the food was good and our waiter was good. The hostess was rude. She sat us down close to the door and I asked if we could be moved further away she abruptly said no. Then shortly after we sat down she seated another couple where I pointed to. It just was her abruptness I thought was unnecessary. The hostess should not be in a customer facing position maybe the kitchen would be good for her.
Went to Have a Birthday Drink to Bring a Close to My Night. 🍾🥂🎉 People were nice but... Floor was extremely slippery for everyone, Place could be tidy -er! 😄 Pepperoni Flatbread & Calamari Were Both Slightly Over Cooked & My Spoon Had Chocolate On It!!! Messed Up My PiZookie Birthday Photo Of Course I Had Already Snapped My Photos Before I Noticed The Chocolate Spoon. They Apologized, No Biggie, I Wasn't Sending Anything Back, Really Only Came For Birthday Drinks Anyway but, LASTLY The Margarita Flight I Chose was not the One They Brought To The Table.. The One I chose From The Menu Had Blackberry, Casamigos, & Peach... The One They Brought Out Tasted Fine But, I Had not Tasted The Ones On The Menu Before & That's Why I Chose Them... Oops! I Forgot They Said They Don't Sing Happy Birthday Anymore, Something About Disneyland Owning The Rights To The Song Or Something Random Like That. I Was Like What?, 🤔 Really? How Interesting.. I Really Didn't Want Anyone To Sing I Was Just Wondering Why They Didn't. Anyhoo, My Experience Here Was Fine Just Could Have Been Better, Like I Said, The People Were Very Nice & Our Server Was New & Did Well, Until I Had To Flag Her Down For The Check! 😇🥳😄#NicePlace
Our waitress - Brittany - was great. Spicy pig pizza was very tasty. As soon as I stepped inside the restaurant, I was greeted by a pungent aroma of onions that filled the air. It felt more like a crowded kitchen than a dining place. I wondered if this was a normal occurrence or a rare mishap. I decided to avoid eating there until I could confirm that they had a proper ventilation system.
My husband and I showed up before our party so we sat at the bar. I do not remember the bartender’s name, but I do remember telling her she looked like Blake lively so I’m sure that tells you who she was. She was really nice and provided a much better experience than last time we were there. That time we had a terrible bartender. We moved to the table and our server was also nice. We liked the table we were sitting at. We were able to speak without yelling over other people. The atmosphere itself was nice. They need to clean it up a bit. My son was handed his dinner and there was old ranch dressing all over the bottom not just a little bit, all over. The plate seemed to have gone through the dishwasher because it was smelly ranch like it was old. Really off-putting. Needless to say he chose not to eat. The manager came and checked on us. We didn’t need anything, but I was unhappy that my son was not able to eat. Again they did offered to correct it, but he was kind of grossed out. As we were leaving, there was a big pile of hair sitting on the half wall next to the stairs. It appeared to have bugs in it. It was pretty gross. The bathrooms were clean, the rest of the restaurant, seats, tables, and such seemed clean, but these two things were pretty bad. I’m sure it was just a fluke thing but clean it up folks. You really do have a kind staff. We appreciate that.
BJ's restaurant is exhausting. We were there for 2 hours. It took 40 minutes to get our dessert. 40 mins for 1 dessert. The food is subpar at best. The chowder had so much onion it burned my throat. The steak was really good, although I asked for medium rare and it came medium well. The kids chicken tenders were mid. The bone less chicken wings weren't anything special. Honestly I don't think we will ever come back. This is our second bad experience and it's not worth it.
Sweet potatoes fries some were cooked some were not. Ordered the pot stickers the rice sticks served were not cooked! Argued with staff. Apparently this is how they are always done. They were like shards of glass! Igot a piece stuck in my throat. Steak was over done. My granddaughter had to get up and ask for more water. Not a good experience at all!
Just another salty pizza. BJs Favorite used to be great with very tasty sun dried tomatoes. Not anymore.
I usually like BJs, but they screwed up the online ordering. I ordered a comfort chicken sandwich that looked delicious, but was discomforted when I got a regular tiny chicken sandwich. They messed up on other people’s orders as well, mainly the customizations we requested. I’m sure if we would’ve called they could have corrected the order, but we ordered at work so there wouldn’t be a good reason to wait for the order to be corrected until we ate our lunch. Overall we are disappointed & not sure if we’d order from here again. On a side note, theirs Mac & cheese was pretty good.
Food is good lots of good specials, service is great! Atmosphere lacks because it desperately needs a remodel and regular professional cleanings. But we gp there alot. Fix those two things it never be empty.
I came in expecting a good meal based on my past visits, but this time was a huge letdown. The wings weren’t cooked all the way through and were fatty with almost no seasoning. I did request for extra crispy two times to our server ,he was nice and polite pointing thats not on him ,all questions to kitchen lol .The lemon pepper flavor was especially disappointing probably the worst version I’ve ever had. It honestly made me question what happened to the quality since my last visit. Thankfully, the Dubai chocolate pizookie turned everything around at the end. It was rich, delicious, and the only part of the meal that I truly enjoyed. Because of that dessert alone, I’m giving this place two stars. Otherwise, it would have been zero.
What a disappointment. I love BJ's; especially their avocado egg rolls and their pizza, but I knew something was wrong when the hostess had as much personality as a wet napkin. It was like she was a zombie. Then our server Trevor specifically asked if we wanted lemons in our water and we both said no and what does he give us? Waters with lemons. The avocado egg rolls seemed like they had been sitting on the line for a while. They were soggy and warm. My pizza was also soggy and warm. I was so bummed about the whole experience at one of my favorite restaurants. I rarely write negative reviews, but this one was deserved.
Took my daughter to BJ's in Folsom Ca for her birthday horrible experience they stuck us in a booth ment for 4 people when we had 7 people and yes we made a reservation. Missed up our orders then when we asked for it to be fixed waiter responded well it will take to long because of the rush instead of saying sorry and fixing the mistake. My fries looked like they scraped the bottom of the fryer and collected every left over food. The Alfredo tasted like it was a tv dinner made in microwave. How can they charge 20 dollars a plate for microwave food.
Terribly disappointed. Ordered delivery. Purchased the family meal with chicken and tri-tip. I called the restaurant after submitting the order online to request no croutons and tomatoes on the salad and the person over the phone assured me they would not put croutons and tomatoes on the salad. Received the meal only to find it covered in croutons and tomatoes. I have a severe allergy and was unable to eat it. I'm also perplexed because the meal was for four people. It came with adequate mashed potatoes, chicken and tri-tip but the green bean serving was very small only about 12 beans. Barely enough for one person. Do they consider a serving of beans, three per person? The steak was cooked okay. The chicken was a little dry. The green beans tasted great. Just wish we had gotten the correct serving.
I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken and it came burnt completely un edible. Definitely won’t be eating here again.
Went and had a cockroach fall onto my head and then start crawling around the booth. We told the waiter and she just kinda laughed it off and didn’t offer to move us tables or comp any of my meal.
So disappointed. I use to love BJs. Their food has really gone down hill and so has their service. I ordered a salad and avocado egg rolls for a take out dinner. I waited for over an hour and a half! The hostess told me that it was because they had to make a new batch of avocado egg rolls. Unfortunately, I don’t think that was the case. The avocado was almost black, the wrappers were total mush, and falling apart. I had a similar experience the last time I ordered from this restaurant. I thought maybe it was a fluke, now I’m thinking this might just be the new BJs 👎🏽😰
My daughter and her friends went and were told they had a 45 minute wait for a table. 2hr later they left without being seated. the manager- justin- said thats to be expected because they're busy. So make a reservation and make sure you are an appropriate visitor or you'll wait 2 hrs, be turned away and away and Justin will treat you like human garbage
My husband and I eat at BJs often. The experience we had tonight was unacceptable. It took 30 minutes to get our food and once we did get it my sandwich was burnt. I asked for bread that wasn't burnt and after another 15 minutes my husband has finished his food and still no sign of my food. We decided to leave at that point and we waited for the manager to come over to the front desk. We explained what happened and he said he did see the sandwich and that it was burnt. I told him se our server over there? He's walking by our table and still doesn't have our food. The manager who could've cared less about the service we received and the fact that I did not get my Food at all took off my meal, which is expected since I didn't receive it but then took 25% off Our tab with no genuine apology at all. We will not be coming back here ever again.
We got sick after Bjs on Sunday .. the avocado was Brown and the tuna was ehh.. The avocado egg rolls was just old brown avocado smashed into a fried shell same with the Ahe Poke. No flavor, all you could taste was old avocado..We all ended up with itching, and stomach issues a little while after we left. "Bad tuna" that causes itching is likely a case of scombroid poisoning, a non-allergic reaction to high histamine levels in improperly stored tuna. we told and showed our waiter the avocado was Brown in both dishes and the tuna was bleh and she said oh sorry .. So is that what you serve for the happy hour? We get half priced old food with a side of food poisoning and hives.. $100 and a 20% tip . We won't be back to this location...
This is second time I online order from here and both times have been unpleasant. Staff is inattentive and rude. I tried giving it a second chance but nonetheless the second time was just as bad. Going in to pick up an online order at around 9pm I asked if someone could help me with my order which on the app said it was ready, and they just told me to wait without even going to see if the order was ready. 5 staff member were standing right in front of me chatting while I kept waiting. Finally, after almost 15 minutes, a worker came out asked for my name, I extended my arm to receive the items, but rather she placed the food on the table and told me “that’s it.” I felt quite uncomfortable by the environment and I’m still confused my the odd behavior and treatment I experienced visiting this place. Would not recommend.
So disappointed with my order! My family LOVES Bjs. This is the worst location I have ever been too. Unfortunately since I live in Folsom this is the once we frequent. Every time we come here or get take out there is an issue. I’m not exaggerating. I don’t like to complain but I always have to when I come here. We have beer club so we come often. I’ll be canceling my beer club because it’s not worth it anymore. This is not the first time our pizza was missing toppings. There are parts of the pizza where there is no cheese, there was no bacon, garlic or artichoke hearts at all, 1/8 of the pizza had basil on it and I think 3 green onions. This boils down to management and training. Why aren’t managers checking food? Why aren’t cooked trained to read tickets? It took 20 minutes later than the time it was ordered for and it’s still not correct. Is hitting fast ticket times really worth things being consistently wrong? I was missing a drink I ordered (called the store and they already refunded that) Since I could tell they were extremely busy I didn’t want to add to the chaos and complain about my entire order. Ice cream was melted. I live 15 minutes away and I’ve had pizzokies to go before and the ice cream away made it home. Pizzokie was burnt. Sucks because this the only chain restaurant we like. The Roseville location is awesome. Too bad it far and always busy.
VERY DISAPPOINTING... animals are being treated better on the farm. I've been to several BJ's before and it was always a good experience, however this one was THE WORST.I came to celebrate my daughter's birthday, called and reserved a table for 7pm ahead of time, unfortunately we got to our table around 8pm because the table wasn't ready. Place was filthy, underneath our table was food remains from the previous customers, and the table was sticky because someone had spilled soda on it, seats were dirty. I've asked the staff 3 times to clean up our table, but unfortunately the table was still sticky. Waitress was absolutely useless, she was unfriendly and had no clue what to recommend or what was on the menu. I've clearly asked to prepare filet mignon "medium rare", however it came "well done" what a waste of good meat. Other dishes weren't better either. I'm feeling sorry for myself, my family and for the guests I have invited to celebrate my daughter's birthday at this restaurant. I can go on and on...however I don't think that owners will read it and take a necessary steps to address the issues and bring it to BJ's level. $260 wasted, very disappointed and disgusted with this visit P.S. in the image there is a "fresh" leaf, which was probably placed into my plate by the "chef" from one of the dirty dishes in the kitchen. First and last time at this location and probably at BJ's as well.
I am so disappointed with the service. Last Friday i went with my husband. I asked for the soup with bread they brought it without bread and then they took it and didn’t replace it with another one. I asked for parmesan cheese, he told me yes sure and then he disappeared. Also I asked for dessert we waited for 30 minutes and left without our dessert If it busy and they should know that it’s busy because it’s Friday they should be prepared
Ordered the 6oz sirloin and half a rack of rib combo and got a steak that was cut from a larger steak… it was pretty strange and the steak was horrible. They didn’t even have spoons when I asked for one for my son’s Mac and cheese and we got a plastic one. We’ve ate here several times and never experienced this before it was pretty strange..
Horrible experience. There was a string of hair on my calamari it was cooked in there. My pasta was cold. They wouldn’t accept apple pay. I wouldn’t go back never again!!!
My husband and I sat at a table for over 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. The server walked past us multiple times, even looked at us and didn’t bother acknowledging that we had been waiting. She also attended to another couple that were sat after us. Super disappointed we had been talking about the sampler app all day and it’s our anniversary. 👎
The food was ok, hostess at check in was rude and dismissive, asked us to stand and wait outside. Food took forever, forgot about drink refills until we asked more than once. The women’s bathroom was filthy!! There was fevers in the toilet and the floor. We had multiple servers and food runners. Service was terrible, absolutely terrible. Not one person was kind or helpful. I will happily dine elsewhere going forward
Whoever is managing this restaurant should be terminated immediately. I have eaten at many BJ's and have never had this experience. My supposedly thinly sliced beef dip came out grey and in chunks with a couple of large pieces of unrendered fat. I only ate the fries. My partners salmon portion came out looking as though a cat had eaten half of it. It was sent back. Later we were told by 2 separate wait staff when they saw the dish in the pass they advised not to serve but someone else brought it out anyway. She was brave enough to taste the refire. It had a chemical taste and she then opted out of eating any more. While waiting for the check we noticed a thick film of dust on the divider that wafted near my drink when the server ran her finger across it to verify our claim. Disgusted we both went to the restroom before leaving the restaurant and found pure filth in both. Flooded in one stall, puddles in another in the women's room. In the mens room the entire floor was wet with what I imagine was a variety of liquids. The trash was full and surrounded by paper towels. The condition of this location and lack of attention should be an embarrassment to the franchise.
So dissapointed. I spent 40$ on the prime rib dinner. Was told it can only be cooked as low as medium. Ok. Came well done and very salty. Baked potato was so overcooked 1/3 was rock hard. Fire roasted veggies were raw, burnt oversalted garbage. Soup tastes like its out of a can. Don't spend your money here!
Hadn't been for a while. Partly of 3 for dinner. My daughter got the cheese burger wife had Asian chicken salad. Burger looked good, salad was just OK. I had the French dip which is something I order frequently. Meat was dry an tough au ju looked like weak tea with no flavor, could barely taste the horse radish in the sauce. Having been in the business I have to give my dinner a 2 max. Does the management ever try the different dishes? Here's a clue. Take the meat and soak in the au ju for a few minutes! But first improve the au ju. Lazy cooks or bad training or both. Such an easy sandwich you can do better. Don't think I'll be back for a while. Maybe stick to pizza.
