Esperanza's Restaurant & Bakery Fort Worth Reviews
Food was great, menudo, chilaquiles, tamales and the hard corn taquitos. All delicious. They also have a bakery with many options to choose from. Highly recommend.
Always good, a family favorite. Good chips and salsa that keep coming for free. Super reasonable prices, delicious. Sometimes we been lucky and the Mariachi's show up, proper etiquette is ask for a song in case they know it, or ask for a popular one, tip when they're done as they're artist after all. Overall highly recommend this spot, especially if you're gonna be on the stockyards area anyways.
I had the Chilaquiles, it was so fresh and good, and the verde salsa had a great roasted flavor. I also grabbed a concha on the way out, which was very good, not too sweet and not dry. I would 100% come back here if I'm in Fort Worth again!
This place is my new GO to for some good Mexican with a Texas twist is the best way to put it…..just look at the size of my Gordita and you can taste the freshness and the authenticity in the process…. The chips the salsa the service the size of the drinks they even offer you a drink to go…..the lunch sizes are incredible….great gram of a place……like Arnold I’ll be back well done!!!
I just loooved our trip to Esperanza's!! Food was excellent and the service was just top notch, it was just great everyone was so friendly and helpful. I didn't get a chance to buy anything from the bakery but everything looked so delicious!! I can't wait for my return trip where I will make sure I get me some yummy's from the Panderia! Breakfast is served all day which is a plus for me! Just can't say enough! Please give them a try you won't regret you went! (I am usually so good at remembering to take pictures, but i just completely forgot! I will update my review with pictures upon my return!)
Fresh flour tortillas, amazing ambiance, friendly staff, and great tasting entrees. The pan dulce (sweet bread) looked amazing but we were too stuffed to eat more. These dishes were not on the menu but, they accommodated upon request. Their salsa is my favorite. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I did however, knock off a star for service because the took nearly an hour to come out and it wasn’t piping hot, as if it had been forgotten a bit. To give some grace, the restaurant was fairly busy. I’ve been to both of their locations several times and the food and friendly staff is a constant. This is a treat for us for breakfast/brunch despite being 30min away, it is totally worth the drive.
Love the breakfast service is great the bakery is excellent love the sweet potato empanadas are my favorite I have breakfast there at least once a week definitely recommend it

If you are looking for an authentic mexican food this is the place!!! Delicious and the service right on point!!!
Super tasty and aesthetic place to go with family or great for a date night. The customer service is great and the servers won't let your drink go dry!
Wholeheartedly fell in love with the green chicken enchiladas. I'm sure every thing is good but I have to order this every time. Skinny margarita was a little pricey but delicious.
The taste of the food was wonderful. The portions were large. The staff was friendly and we loved the ambiance.
Food and customer service are always great!! long wait after 11am on weekends, but I personally usually always try to get here before 8am to be seated immediately. Great place for family brunch.

Dog friendly patio- great food. We had beef tacos and a chili rellano- really good! Also loved the salsa. Related to more well known Joe T Garcia down the street. We strongly recommend

Had the best meal yet in Fort Worth. The portions were huge and delicious. Fresh baked bread and the service was top notch. Martin was quick and attentive. You need this for breakfast
Wanting to get something very authentic almost “hole in the wall or mom and Pop traditional Mexican food. This was the closest, though unfortunately they don’t have the different queso frescos 🤦🏻♂️ queso Frijolero-Cotija, doble crema etc. But‼️ the corn tortillas(which I ordered a dozen), the chips and salsa the coffee great. The Chilaquiles of the two variations made up for it. *** in addition the Hacienda type style on the outside, as for my waitress/server came off a bit bland no joy no smile. No hospitality
We had the Papas Chorizo y huevos plate, it was a lot for 2 of us. They are stingy on portions and the tortillas were really thick not like the ones you buy at a store. Location was busy and the smells were good. The only thing that We didn’t like was that the dish had to much cumin, it took away some of the taste from the rest of the dish.
The atmosphere is amazing here!!! I attended a high school reunion here so I didn't get to eat what I'd normally order however the food that was served was good. The parking at the restaurant itself is limited however there is a large parking lot behind the building that requires a little walk. I definitely recommend giving them a try. The service was amazing.

I had the small dinner, enchilada, tostada, taco, rice and beans, which were tasty. The wife had the chili relleno plate which she enjoyed. My grandson had chicken strips which initially came out a little over done, but we asked if he could get some not as well done which they did and the second batch were more to everyone's liking. No fuss was made and the service and atmosphere were like always... excellent.
We went here on a Sunday for brunch. We were able to get a table for 12 pretty easily so that was great. We sat on the patio - it's covered with fans and it was very pleasant even for end of May. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food just was very average. Huevos con chorizo y papas was fry and underseasoned. Honestly it wasn't better than what you would cook at home in a skillet. I had huevos rancheros and they were pretty good but there was no spice or heat level. The Micheladas were very good, everyone liked those. Final thing, and the largest, the Mexican shrimp cocktail - every shrimp had not been deveined. You could see the innards and no one serves it this way bc it's gross and unappetizing. Had I ordered it I would have sent it back. Overall a mid experience. Food wasn't bad, but just fairly average.
A nice little casual restaurant. Decided to have breakfast here with my family. Staff was friendly and waitress was attentive. Enjoyed the traditional mexican food. Surprised to see hard liquor ava…
I honestly don’t know how this place has such high reviews. We picked it because of the multiple glowing reviews. Our server came over a second after we sat down asking what we wanted to eat (hadn’t even opened the menus), we ordered queso and it was very like fluffy almost with a strong fake cheese flavor. Not traditional at all. We decided not to order dinner and our server seemed very annoyed. We stopped at the bakery on our way out to see what they had left and the girl at the counter said ‘what do you want.’ In a very off-putting tone. Unfortunate experience, hopefully it was a one-off at not the usual.
Estoy muy decepcionada con la sopa de res (beef stew). La carne estaba durísima, parecía carne de la que se usa para comida de perroS, dura de masticar. Pagamos más de $20 por la sopa, y no es correc…

long wait time for ok food had the menudo and had one spoon full that was it definitely not good in my opinion.
My aunt went on Christmas eve and spent $94 on 4 dozen tamales.. the tamales were dry and some had more maza then meat. No flavor so salsa on the side no napkins just a payment of $94 for tamales that tasted 3 days old. They rush you to decide since theres such a small ordering area . If your a person that likes to look at the bread and then make a choice then this place isnt for you. Your better off going to a small panaderia and making tamales at home. I bought better tamales from the ladies post up at walmart for less. I just couldnt find them this time. We woll no longer be buying anything from here
One star is too much, we took my mom to celebrate her birthday it all started good but they took almost an hr to get the food for our table. When it finally arrived my husband’s plate was wrong we asked for the beef and shrimp fajita plate specifically said no onions or chicken, my mom asked for double rice and enchiladas- it was wrong too. My husband didn’t want to return the plate because the wait time had been too long but the waiter insisted since he heard me complaining lol they took it back removed the chicken and literally there was 3 shrimp and like 10 mini pieces of meat for $$28.39 and the salad had picadillo with onlions I had to remove them from the plate right before I took the picture My sister ordered caldo the res and she couldn’t eat the meat it was too rubbery my kids asked for milanesa and their meet was bad as well total we paid $180 and nobody even ate. So think twice before choosing this place.
I don't know how this place has so many good reviews, if you like tasteless coffee, tasteless Mexican wanna be food, I can't even call this tex mex, then you have to try this, but if you really like Mexican food or even Tex-Mex do not come here. Do not waste your time. Do not waste your money. Everything was pretty much gross. only thing that was good were the tortillas. Those are really good. Menudo tasted like it was reheated from last week and mixed in with a Menudo from this week, the enchilada sauce, and the Chilaquiles sauce is the same sauce. Little too sour needed lots of salt ,beans seemed canned and that salsa was definitely canned, waiter was cool, . would give zero states if could,
