Amazing experience! We swung by before a movie with less than an hour. Not only were our burgers out in 15 minutes but they were both cooked perfectly! And the burgers were so good!! Juicy and fresh! Crisp pickles and crisp bacon. Fries were out of this world! Better than Five Guys! Our server was attentive, thorough, and respectful of our time. I highly recommend this place!

One of my go to places. Great for watching sports, TVs are everywhere. Two big bar areas and pool tables on the lower level. The jalapeno pork chop with grilled vegetables is my all time favorite. This is not a chain bar and grill, the food and service are excellent. I recently had my daughters baby shower at Flips on a Sunday. Flips took great care of us and my family had a great time.

Drake had to work solo and handled everything perfectly, great personality and got the job done !

So many of the bartenders are great! Kelly, Justin, and Greg are on the top of our list. We come here at least once a week for food, great drink specials, and friends.

Was pleasantly surprised with how great our dinner was here. Went just to try it wasn't expecting much more than bar type food which is good but not what was expected. All 3 plus our little doggie got the Fish N Chips and wow were they great. The fish was definitely a Cod big white flakey moist fish and the batter was the best part. Was just crunchy enough. The fries were good but could have been hotter. We sat out in the big patio and was pretty busy but service was fast and they were around a lot to check if we needed anything. Pet friendly as well. Definitely will be back. Want to try the chicken fried steak for sure. Go!

Very fun atmosphere and plenty of room and billiards. The food here is phenomenal and the service is impeccable. Keep up the amazing job and give those cooks in the back a raise because DAMN that food is on point.

Our waiter, Camden, was very helpful and super friendly. We ordered the sampler platter with bacon wrapped jalapenos, tangy bone in wings, and a pretzel. We also shared the flip burger and fries. Flip’s Patio Grill in Grapevine is a hidden gem that blends casual comfort with surprisingly great food under the Bob’s Steakhouse umbrella. Conveniently located right off the highway, it’s easy to get to and stays open late, with the kitchen serving until about 1:30. The beer selection is solid, the patios are always lively, and the dining room offers a relaxed, smoke-free dinner atmosphere. The only drawback is that smoking is allowed in the bar, which isn’t for everyone. Still, whether you’re grabbing a burger, or a Caesar salad with extra chicken after hours, Flip’s delivers a quality and convenient experience in the wee hours.

We have quarterly meetings and we usually go here for our happy hours after. I usually reserve the cocktail room for a group of about 70, preorder several platters to start us off, and we usually have a couple of pool tables. The staff has always been accommodating, friendly, and provide superior service. They make my entire reservation, ordering, checkout experience easy!

This is going to become a regular spot! I needed a place to meet with a few friends, and Flips was chosen. It's a welcoming environment, mostly because of the stuffed polar bear in the entrance (no joke). There was plenty of seating, and the atmosphere was lively. Multiple bars, pool tables, taxidermied animals, etc. And the food was delicious and affordable! I also really appreciated the staff. My waitress was kind, knowledgable, and attentive. The kitchen accidentally messed up a small part of my order, and the waitress was apologetic and very fast to resolve it. I was impressed, and I will be returning!

This place has the most authentic Texas chili! From a CASI chili cooker and judge it’s the closest I’ve had to competition chili! The service is great and the food here is amazing! Ask for the best server ever! Ricky❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Came here after work to get some food and a drink. The drinks are good and reasonably priced. I ordered the 24k wings and they were amazing. My waiter was Avery and he was very attentive and spot on with everything. Definitely will return.

There was a small man who was our runner and omg he was sooooooo damn nice!!!! We were slightly intoxicated so I can't remember his name but he had such great customer service and was smiling the whole time- you can tell when ppl are faking a smile but his was so real and he never showed anything but! We also had a waitress who had on a red shirt and some small black shorts, so nice she was non-stop moving. Literally blessing to her I would've been so damn sore, I appreciate them more than they know🩷🩷

Overall it was a phenomenal experience. It was my first time there with a couple buddies to play pool and enjoy some good food. All things considered, the food and, options to sit to eat, areas to hang out and shoot pool, cleanliness, and comfort level of the place, it made a big impression on me. There’s 7 pool tables available, kept in good condition. Good clientele playing pool, ranges from older families, to young families and to young professionals. The food was surprisingly good, I had the sampler and chicken wings. If these are good, the rest of the menu must be pretty good too. Definitely coming back to try the rest. Service was quick, food got out quick. Overall, Wait staff was nice. Waitress I had was ok, could be better but maybe it was an off night for her. Felt cold and not as welcoming as the others

9-21-24 visit. We stumbled on this place and it wasn't by choice. They were the only ones in the immediate area showing the Longhorns game. I'm glad we came in. It was a full house with a great atmosphere. There is a dining area separate from the bar area. We took the bar area which had a great size screen for watching the game. Service was a little hit and miss. We were tended to initially but she never came back and after a bit, someone else came to check on us and it was pretty smooth sailing after that. I wasn't too hungry so I opted for the childs plate steak fingers with a side of Mac and cheese. Absolutely delicious. Wife had a trio appetizer as a meal. Turned out to be the perfect combination. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

This was a gem, with good food and service. The Pineapple express and Blood and Honey drinks were very good. The fried mushrooms, bacon wrapped jalapenos, pork chops, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans are all very good. Would luv the pork chop to be thicker but still very good. I got the fried pickles, but I found them lil salty and not my fav....but you get a good thinner ranch dressing that offers better coverage when dipping. Place was so friendly and inviting that a vendor for the Blood and Honey beer gave my whole table a free drink to try.

The atmosphere's nice. The staff is quick and polite. Pool tables are ~10 an hour and are in good condition. Both indoors and outdoors are great settings. They have TVs displaying sport games among other media. If you would like saitiating burgers (among other meals) for a moderate price, this is a solid choice whether alone or with family/friends.

This is my first time to Flips. I love the Flips that’s off of 121. The area that this restaurant is in seem like it’s a jumping area which I’ve never been to before. So I can’t wait to go back due to the vibe. I like the vibe in the atmosphere. I went on a Saturday after 12 and it wasn’t jumping like all the other places nearby maybe because they’re too far on the end. The place is huge, so it will be great to get together. I didn’t care for the wings because they were missing flavor; we got the garlic parmesan and lemon pepper. I don’t remember what drink I got, but I liked it. It’s something fruity that had soda in it and I hate drinks that have soda in it because they water it down, but I really like this one. It was a big crowd of our ages and races. And there was good music playing. And of course, the hours are great.

First time at flips. Service was decent, atmosphere was delightful. The place is huge. Bathrooms are comfy and spacious and pretty clean.. no lack of supplies like toilet paper and hand towels. They even added mouthwash to the mix with tiny cups so you can rinse the alcohol smell off your breath before venturing out. (Not sure what that's about) alcohol burns off at a precise rate of .016 BAC per hour” and there is no way to speed up this process, so no that mouthwash isn't going help you avoid a dwi. Besides the obvious attempt to appease an alcoholic crowd with tricks in appearing sober. (Just jokes) the place is pretty nice. One tip: avoid ordering drinks from your waiter. We ordered a pineapple Express from the kitchen and also went and got the same drink from the bar tender... the one from the kitchen was extremely watered down and terrible and the one from the bartender was ON POINT. One of the regulars there pointed this out and it was completely true. If you want drinks go to the bartender.

Have experienced both fries and bacon wrapped jalapeños, both were over done (slightly burnt) on two separate occasions. Overall good place to handout with friends. na-cho average sports bar... see what I did there, nacho... fun spot with affordable beer, good bar food, and plenty of tvs to catch whatever game you'd like...better weather calls for a spot on the patio. great customer service and the crowd was good...not too packed on a Sunday afternoon.

Nice place to hang out in the evening near Fort Worth area and enjoy chicken wings with beer or any Soft drinks you like. Recommend everyone to visit during happy hours from Monday to Friday to enjoy your favorite drinks and spicy foods. Had wonderful time enjoying sampler plate with fried pickles, roasted jalapenos, chips and salsa, traditional and homeless wings with different flavors etc. Cocktails, beers and all hot drinks also available as per your choice.

Went for quick drinks on a Saturday night. I had Moscow mule and hubby had house margarita! Both were great. 2 bar areas make more seating in bar area. Our bartender was nice and swift lady. We enjoyed our nice small visit. Don't forget to click pictures with polar bear on both sides of entrance, gave me Alaska feels.

We’ve had “Family Night” at Flips twice. It’s good food, but not great. It’s not usually busy when we go (Saturdays at 5:30) and it’s relatively quiet especially for a pub. The service is always good and the appetizers are very good, especially the fried pickles. While there are no specific kid-friendly features, the kids in our family like going there. I didn’t have a drink (alcoholic) so I can’t speak about that. I would recommend Flips and we’ll probably have Family Night there again.

This is a cool spot to stop in for lunch. Played a round of golf at Fossil Creek, then came here for a cold brew and some food. The wings were good. The jalapeno poppers were great. The sandwich was also very good, and they let me split my side to have both fries and onion rings. I'll definitely go back.

Had the Texas burger. Was loaded but manageable. Really the perfect size. I could eat it with a beard and not spill everything out the back or all over myself. Very well rounded. Really a great place to go watch the games. Service girl that we had was very nice, even the door greeter. The only complaint and it's not really a complaint, just a food preference I guess was the cheese sticks and boneless wings. My husband and I got the sampler a piece. He chose 3 items and I had my own. The way the sticks were made just seemed different from other cheese sticks I've had in the past. The batter around the cheese just didn't taste that well and was very thick. There was too much seasoned (lemon pepper) poured on top of the wings. Everything else we had was good.

Service was quick and atmosphere was great. Food can use some work. For a restaurant and bar with a dining room this size I thought the food would be better than your regular bar food. I was mistaken, I’d probably come back for their games and service but not the food.

This was my 2nd time here. I had the fish tacos. They were...ok. Not great but good. Kinda dry, needed more sauce. I asked for corn tortillas, they tasted like they came from a bag, not fresh, or homemade. Overall they had good flavor. My wife had the turkey club sandwich I think. She finished hers so I assumed she liked it lol. The portion sizes were very large, good bang for your buck. Prices were reasonable. I sampled her onion rings, not great, too fried, too much breading & kinda hard. Not well cooked or prepared. I had tator tots with my fish tacos. Again they were ok, typical tator tots. Food was typical bar food. My youngest son had the chicken strips, they appeared to be very tough when I was cutting them up for him, but he did eat them well. My oldest had the kids hamburgers, I believe he finished those so they must not have been too bad. Our server, Ele I believe was awesome. He was the star of the meal, so attentive. I think he was assigned 3-4 tables, he handled it beautifully, worked very hard. Very sweet guy. Food needs some help. I get it that it's a bar & bar food, but it can still be really good food, if you want it to be.

Stopped in for some March madness. The food was surprisingly good. I had the chicken Philly and it had good flavor and was a good portion size. I had sautéed veggies as a side and was pleasantly surprised there too. The server we had was really nice but a little slow, I think she had too many tables. Beer price was reasonable too. My beef with the place was the spacing and layout of TVs for game watching and the general boisterous-ness of it. It felt more like a bar than a sports bar. They were playing music despite having some major basketball games on. BUT everything I had was good and reasonably priced. I would go back

flipsgrill so, we have been here already 2 times, giving this place a try.  ON the first visit i tried out the chili con queso with beef.  It was good definitely had the next time I visited. Then I tried the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and onion rings. This was also very good. The place is simply a bar with good food.  They have pool tables to play on when busy need to be put on a list to get a table.  Have large tv all over the place playing sports on them. With different games either live or other.  The service was the first time okay could have been better though.  Then the next time we visited I had the classic Philly steak sandwich with fries.  That was also very good. Not on par with a real Philly but was worth it.  The service was a lot better this time the young lady took good care of us.  In all the food was good.  The place does get loud at times with the games and the crowd.  Its easy to find parking.  The place is open late so it’s a good place to go when other places are closed.  The prices are very reasonable all around. Its our go to place now for when we just want something basic to eat.

Been going to Flips for years every month or so, but tonight was awful. They were not as busy as they normally are but customer service was lacking at sports bar. A friend and I went for a couple drinks and I want food. I asked to place food order but chubby bartender walked off. Tried getting attention of other bartender but he also walked off. About 20-30 minutes later, my friend was able to get bartender’s attention to tell him I wanted to order. His response was i thought she would’ve already ordered. There’s 2 of us here. We were there an hour and a half at the time and quite a few open seat at bar and most tables open. Hearing them greet new customers and offer a menu and seeing them come around asking if they needed anything didn’t help. I’m very disappointed with the service tonight. I’ve seen them when they’re much busier and have never had such an awful experience.

Service was good, but paying afterwards was a bit confusing as they run up different tickets. So, I had to pay multiple times to leave. Pool tables seemed to be too close together, which made it difficult to play. Also, the bumpers seemed too soft, which made the balls go in strange directions. Overall seemed like a great place to hang out, watch sports on the multiple large tvs but was uncomfortably hot inside but the patio made for a relaxing place to have a cold one and spend time with friends. I checked out this location on a Sunday night. I came in with two of my friends. You have to show ID to get in, at least at the time I arrived. We went to the downstairs bar first, hoping to order drinks. The male bartender never came over to ask us for anything for over 10 minutes. We walked upstairs to a girl bartender, and she was much more friendly with us. Ordered our drinks, then we went to shoot pool for about 2 hours. Tables are decent, but good luck finding a decent cue to play with. You'd be better off bringing your own if you own one. I'll be back, and hopefully it'll be a better experience.

Maybe I’m here on an off day? But the fries were burnt and tasted like they were made in old oil. The wings also tasted like they were made in old oil. I ordered a Shiner Lemon Twist. Not as sour as I would like (really not sour or lemony at all) but that didn’t bother me as it was still enjoyable. What bothered me was when I ordered a second one, it tasted different from the first one. The second one had a slight carbonated taste that the first one did not. Great atmosphere, it just lacked consistency. Even though I wasn’t a fan of the food in the slightest, the waitresses were very nice.

Their food is less than mediocre. Each time I've tried their food I've absolutely hated it. Last night I ordered the impossible burger and decided to throw it away because it tasted like fish. My child who usually devours his impossible burger from burger king had one too, took two bites and wasn't interested in the rest. An absolute waste of $50.

The food was your standard, mediocre American food. Service on the patio was terrible. Our server Landon (got his name off the receipt cause he never introduced himself to us) walked up and said “what we drinking.” No introduction at all. When we asked for a food menu, he looked personally offended. During our meal, he never asked how things were or if we needed anything and ran away the second he gave us anything. I don’t know who hired this guy, but Landon needs to find a job that does not interact with the public.

I actually love this bar because it’s close to home and has a lot of pool tables and overall great vibe. I came here on a Sunday night after my own very long shift as a bartender with some friends and instantly regretted the decision. Payton on the lower level bar was so unprofessional and rude. I’m not saying I need a bartender to be extra peachy to me, but she was out right rude from the moment we sat down for no reason. I saw her treat every other guest just fine, but when it came to me specifically, she avoided me and gave attitude whenever I was able to get her attention. She apparently only works Sundays, so I guess if you’re a female, avoid this place Sundays when she works. I’ve only ever had great experiences with the bartenders except her, so she could be a problem for the female crowd on Sundays.

The bartender was really friendly. I was there about 25 minutes. I drank one beer. Was never offered a menu. The weird thing is there was around 30 people there and I did not see 1 person with food. Inside and the patio. The bartender was the only person I saw eating. Weird vibe. Don't think I'll be back. To many options especially if I want something to eat. They should not call themselves a grill if they don't offer a menu. Just sayin

The food was good. We ordered the original burger and a steak and they were both well done. The service was pretty good. It was not a 4 star but closer to 5 starts. Service was just a little slow... Atmosphere though, the place felt a little too loud and obnoxious. It felt a little uncomfortable. The food was a little overpriced too. For one burger and one very mid steak and an appetizer, we paid over $42. Other than that, I'd recommend this place if you like noise and are very hungry and willing to eat anything... this sounds bad but it isn't too bad as it sounds. Come hungry, with a lot of positive attitude cause you'd be the only one with it...

Used to be our game-day goto spot. Whole family loaded up to watch a 8pm TCU game. My 28yo daughter in law (who doesn't drink) was denied entry at 8pm because she didn't have id. They had to go eat somewhere else. Yall, there were children in this place till 10pm!!! But, they got in by 8pm... Not law. Flips policy. Never get my money again.

The place was half empty and me and my family were waiting in LINE for a table there was only three of us and there was a worker right there not even wanting to help

I came here last night with a friend and sat at the bar a older white lady took over as the friendly younger woman went home I wanted my check she didnt acknowledge me and continued her conversation she went around the bar asked 5 people are they okay and do they need anything else but skipped me and my friend I asked for my check as she was on the screen she said of course I didn’t tip anything because that was I found it very rude and completely ignored. I work in the service industry and I was very disappointed at her old age and how she treated us .

Our server Landon had an attitude he was fast but his tone and demeanor was just very aggressive and rude I wanted to have a good experience but instead left upset and annoyed. Anytime I said thank you it was followed by a dirty look so I eventually gave up on trying to be hospitable to the “man” who’s supposed to hospitable to us . Over all everything else was great the food and the drinks were perfect and nothing was crazy expensive but Landon’s service left a bad taste in my mouth I’m not sure if I’ll be back

If I could give this server 0 stars I would every time I have come here he is very rude. He gave my friend a timer on ordering another drink when she had just ordered her first drink of the night when she walked in. Then tried to order something for a friend that is also clearly not allowed either I’ve never had this issue anywhere else didn’t know places had such strict rules. Felt like I was in grade school honestly wild lol.

Please fix the pool tables. I am a pool player been coming here for years now. This is the place even my Wife likes to come when I want to play pool. The food is really good for a bar. I only have one star hoping that the management might see it and hear my pleas.. Please fix the pool tables … They are long overdue for some TLC . Thanks for taking the time to read.
