Delicious pizza! We had the New York style pepperoni pizza and added mushrooms 🤤 they are not shy with the topping or cheeeeese! Loved the nostalgic atmosphere you can even make your mark on the walls here! Excellent service, clean and well lit area, security to watch the parking lot and a nice patio.

This place is amazing and a must try!!!! We ordered a large Chicago style and a mini New York for our 7yo son. Both were AMAZING! The crust was so buttery and delicious, the marinara and meats were bursting with flavor. We also ordered the meatballs for our app and they were so delicious! The restaurant is clean, the staff is very friendly. Overall, 100/10. We will definitely be back and have a new favorite pizza joint!

This is my second visit and I can't believe this is my first review. I've been here once before and loved it. It was a Saturday night and it was crowded so we got to eat on the second floor...which I didn't realize they had. The menu is quite extensive so there was something for everyone. Even keto pizzas, my wife got one, the cauli-keto starburst pie, it was very tasty, lots of veggies and meats on a cauliflower crust. I got the 8 inch New York style pie wit' lots of meats and veggies and fresh jalapenos. We shared a pint of Twisted X beer. I purchased a t shirt.....this may help me remember to come back more often. Great food and service and reasonable prices. 6 adults and 2 toddlers enjoyed some amazing pie and pasta and a few libations. My wife and I shared a pint draft of St. Arnold's Watermelon Cider....never tried this before and it was really good. My wife had the pasta salad and a side of fried baby potatoes. I enjoyed the meat lasagna with marinara sauce. We ordered a baked goat cheese appetizer with french bread for the table, it was enjoyed by all. The service by Norma was over the top. I wore my Star Pizza t shirt and they kept trying to put me to work....just sayin'....we'll be back for more of these goodies.

I haven't been here in years, I don't even remember a Chicago style pie. I went with a 14" Bens . I forgot to ask for no chunky tomatoes 😆. Other than that a real good pie .

If you want really good and fresh deep dish pizza, Chicago style or thin crust, this is the place to be. Our server, Jessica greeted us with a smile, was attentive and gave good suggestions on what is good and tasty on the menu. (She mentioned the ones she already tried herself.) We chose a goat cheese appetizer( a dip) which was warm and delicious with black olives, sun dried tomatoes, italian seasoning and thin, light italian bread to dip. We chose a deep dish which we were able to split ( half pepperoni and the other half spinach and fresh mozzarella). The atmosphere has an eclectic and artistic vibe on the inside and the outside literally looks like a house with a huge porch.

Star Pizza delivers more than 5 stars to the quality and flavors of their pizzas a day desserts, sincere customer interactions, and the relaxed environment indoor and outdoor. The ingredients taste fresh with a mama's style love. We enjoyed the deep dish meat lovers style pizza and a gluten free pepperoni pizza. If you want a great pizza in Houston this is the spot. We took a piece of strawberry cream cake home to share later and it too was a world class homerun. The environment does have several mobility challenges. Take some extra steps to communicate with the restaurant about your visit if dining with patrons with mobility challenges.

This was my second time eating here. Both times have been awesome! I had their Chicago Deep Dish for the first time which was delicious. I love the atmosphere and service. The double chocolate cheesecake was very good also. I look forward to stopping by the different locations as well!

First time dining in. Such a neat spot! It’s very family friendly. We walked in around 12:45pm and were seated right away. Loved the art and doodles all over the walls and ceiling. My toddler was provided a folded colouring sheet and crayons to pass time. The food portions are generous and delicious! Loved the Starburst Chicago-styled pizza - highly recommend it!

The specialty pizza was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a decade. The crust on the deep dish was so good that I saved it and took it home to reheat and eat it. Even the cheesy garlic bread was excellent. The Chicago style in my mind was always a pie style with sauce over the top and really heavy on toppings, this was not that. Still, excellent food but if you go expecting the pie style, this isn’t that. 100% my favorite pizza joint in Houston.

Fantastic! I love this little restaurant. It’s in a very old building that has a lot of history on the walls, a lot to look at. I love places like this that are different, unique. I ordered the chicken, avocado & bacon sandwich on wheat bread with potatoes. The sandwiches come with a side of pasta or baby potatoes. My friend had the pasta, so I was able to taste both sides. I loved the potatoes. They were roasted and just the right amount of crispy. The pasta salad was seasoned perfectly, and tasted delicious. The sandwich was very good as well! The waiter was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. If you’re looking for someplace different from the every day, usual chain-restaurant, give Star Pizza a try. Hopefully you will find this place worthy of returning again and again, as I did.

Man, this pizza was wicked. In a good way. If you are a cheese lover— this is for you. It was almost hard to eat because of how much cheese there was but once I popped it back in the air fryer later in the night, it was better. maybe cause the cheese had settled a bit. I believe we ordered the chefs special.. it’s the last pizza on the list. I’d recommend this place for all the deep dish, cheese lovers. 😊

First time trying Chicago deep dish and star pizza did not disappoint. Generous with toppings, I have trouble finishing a medium one myself even though I was starving. Taste was rich and robust, though a little bit of a cholesterol overload for me coz I ordered with extra pepperoni and cheese. YOLO!!! Back for more next time I am in town

Star Pizza is a Houston classic for a reason, it's absolutely yummy! They serve up great pizza that's consistently delicious! The overall value is excellent, as the prices are good for the quality and portions you get. The staff is good too, always friendly and helpful. However, be warned that parking is bad. Dealing with the lot or street parking can be a real headache, especially during peak hours. You'll definitely want to factor in a little extra time just for parking, but the tasty pizza makes it worth the effort! Love how they provide food for Cactus Music events!

The wait was long, we were really hungry decided to skip the appetizers as it was all bread. I wish they would have a different selection other than salad to snack on while waiting for food. Pizza was good live the crunch from the first bite, and the sauce was a bit sweet but good. Our waitress provided excellent service and was very attentive, staff very friendly. I live far from here but if I were ever in the area I would come back for another visit.

First, I have to say that the service was fantastic. My waitress was super nice. There was zero wait time. The booth was comfortable. And to be fair the Caesar salad was really good. But the pizza was disgusting. Burnt around the edges and undercooked in the middle. All I could really taste was the sauce because the pizza mostly just consisted of sauce. I had the Thursday lunch special, which is a personal pizza of your choice with a salad for $12.99, drink included. I arrived right at noon. My salad came out quickly because as I said, my server was awesome. The pizza took about half an hour. I wish I had gone anywhere else.

This was the nastiest pizza I’ve ever had. Literally gross. From the dough to the cheese, don’t know how this place has 4.5 stars. I would give it a 1 star AT BEST and that’s because the service was decent. Literally cardboard would taste better. Ordered “NY style” and Chicago deep dish style. 🤢
