The red snapper was so delicious. The place has its own pool. I also did waterski which was 450 for 30 minutes plus 200 for an instructor who taught me how to do it as it was my first time. He also was putting the skishoes for me every time I fall down, highly recommended.

We rented a small power boat for 2:30 hrs @ $900 pesos per hour. The driver took us around the lagoon with one brief stop at the Island. We had a very good lunch with generous portions back at the restaurant. Very nice! Would gladly do it again!

Great fresh fish, nice pool, reasonable prices. We paid MXP$60 to bring in our small cooler with drinks ($80 was the official rate.) Fish was mxp$300/kilo, fresh and tasty grilled "a la talla" . Nice pool, they put up a hammock and we sat in the palapa and walked up and down the beach. The waves were a bit too big for us to boogie board, and there is a bit of a rip tide. Very few people on a Wednesday, almost no one swimming. Better prices and fresher fish than we had at Alejo in Barra Vieja. We paid a local life guard mxp$50 to watch us if we needed help while boogie boarding. We did see a group of 4 local young men boogie boarding a little at sunset, but the waves were too big.

The food was very good, however, when we asked for the check they tried to charge additional things. They do take a while to prepare the food so be VERY patient. Other than that, the place is lovely, quiet and clean.

Food is not excellent, but it’s okay, great service, lovely views on both sides (lagoon and sea), would be nice if they set free the parrots they have and also change the “princess cruises” stealed logo.

Great Location but that’s where it ends for me. Wife’s meal was nothing special, much better and much cheaper elsewhere. My half chicken was so picante that a Mexican street dog will not eat it. Service was extremely slow once we finally received it not knowing if anyone would ever come to our table, wife was almost done her meal when mine arrived. Not sure about the great reviews, not a great place in this visit.
