Amazing food and service from Ivan. One of those places that you can splurge on food and not drain your wallet!

Very good food. I will recommend breakfast pan con chancho, and for entrees steak and tacu tacu. The owner is very attentive and wait staff is always on point.

Had dinner here, it was cozy & the service was great. The food is awesome which is a plus!
Good, very good food like prepared in home For Mother sazón,but what about green rice With chicken, not with duck, just, with chicken Please prepare most frecuently.
Authentic peruvian food!! The food here is REALLY GOOD. don't bother going to the city or a lame fancy part of Brooklyn for dinner come over here!!
That is good freaking delicious I have ever tasted in my life and made me back my memories of my father and family I wanted to work there
I have been in almost every Peruvian restaurant in Queens and this place really surprised me. I’ll start with the service: Ivan has been the first server in this area to come up with the idea of showing pictures of every single dish through an app and the amazing thing is that we are actually able to see how big the portions are, he also gave us suggestions and everything was really good. Regarding the place itself, the food is delicious and affordable. I really do not understand why people that like Peruvian food go to places like Pio Pio if this place is literally two blocks away, cheaper and way better.
great home style peruvian food! portions were generous, food was tasty! I recommend ceviche, Parihuela(Peruvian Seafood Soup), and Corvina a lo Macho (Fish Fillet Covered by our Creamy Signature Sauce) with cusquena(peruvian beer) or pisco sour!
Great food, very nice server. Food great as always snd did not take long to be served. Definetly a place to go for some great food
The food is great ...fresh seafood...only order delivery so far but orders have been correct and on a timely fashion...2 orders no complaints
Great food 😋 and service
The food was great, very authentic. The closest I've had to the ceviche in Lima. I would have to say the best Peruvian food in Queens.
All I can say I've been to many many many Peruvian restaurant around Queens but this one tops it all. Most of the dishes taste homie. Extra touch with desert such as "PICARONES" !! Well done !
Our server was Miladis and she was amazing, very attentive and made sure we were satisfied throughout our dinner. We've tried a couple of other local peruvian spots but this is the best one so far! Amazing food at fair prices, we will definitely be back!
Came for dinner three times now with family and the food is always delicious! We love our waitress Millie, she's always so kind, attentive, very thoughtful and wonderful to talk to! We're so grateful she's been there every time we go in! The chefs pay attention to detail in the dishes and they have a tasty, authentic Peruvian flavor. Comes as no surprise because the new owner is Peruvian himself. Thank you for the wonderful service, always!
Incredible! AMAZING food, customer service, vibe and ambiance! Our waitress Millie was wonderful. She was so sweet, hospitable, kind and patient. I will definitely be returning! :)
Love this place and the new management, the new owner is great, The CHEFF CHINO is on point, my favorite dish is COLBINA A LO MACHO, freshness to the fullest, highly recommend this location here!!!!
I went to eat with my friends so they could try Peruvian cuisine and it was a super experience. The ambiance is excellent, the food is delicious (just like in Peru) and the service is the best. Thank you very much, 100% recommended (Taste the "Anticuchos"!!!).
Ordered for delivery. The food was fantastic ! I ordered tallarín verde, caldo de gallina, and arroz chaufa de pollo. Both really tasty! Will definitely come back
The food never disappoints and always satisfies my cravings. The new outdoor seating is beautiful as well. Recommend the beef hearts and ceviche. I’m also a huge fan of the chicarron - super hot, crunchy and moist inside. I was sitting outside and the chicken never stopped letting out steam the whole time. Never had dried chicken either
Good food
Has changed its name
Food is delicious!!
Great arroz con leche y mazamorra. My mom loves the food here.
Good food, fair price, excellent service
Its ok they rostes chiken its really good..but they dont have coorslight
The Server was Awesome. Excellent Food. Yummy 😋😋😋
Caldo de gallina is very good. They have lucuma ice cream
Peruvian food in the area. I really enjoy the food and desserts when I go.
great spanish food and on the less expensive side
Love the anticuchos, papa a la huancaina needed more sauce
One of the best Peruvian places around for authentic flavors
Been there twice. Chicken is sick!!! (Rotisserie) They charge a fee for paying with plastic
Expensive but food tastes 👍
Most of the time the rotisserie chicken is dry when eating out but this chicken was moist and delicious.
Like it alot. I've been here a 2nd time and I had the ceviche mixto last time and just like last time, it tastes great, fresh and plentiful today. I'm having the anticuchos too and very nice and tender. Topping it off with cusqueña and the perfect solo dinner is ready. The waitress is nice and friendly. Will be coming here more often. Will adjust rating accordingly. Ser the pics.
Food is regular Peruvian, place is not so attractive
The avocado salad was dope! Big salad!
The food was so delicious and my wife and kids love it. Service 👍👍
I love peruvian food and usually buy here frequently but the last two times I bought food I was dissapointed with the portion for pick up.
Today the food was so so, the meat was not very tender or seasoned properly.
A nice Peruvian restaurant that does chicken and seafood, they probably have other things also but I usually get their chicken. And it taste great to me, it's cooked very well and stays juicy. The beans are pretty good, the rice is probably the worst thing. Their green sauce is awesome too. The people who work there are pretty friendly too, never felt uncomfortable waiting for my food. If you're craving roasted chicken, rice and beans, check this place out. -edit Knocking down a star, recently poor service and the chicken has been salty and overcooked last few times.
Food was very good, service by Ivan was excellent, been there a few times already and never had such good service from a waiter, the way he presented the menu and offer you the plates was a plus. I would absolutely recommend it.
Terrible service and prices!
Used to be great. Under new owners i guess. No bueno anymore. Go back to the way it was.
Service is average , We ordered ceviche and we regretted we did it . Also very expensive taking in consideration the low quality of the food .
Very disappointed. The good was very salty. We got an exchange and had less ingredients. We didn't eat it and we were not charged. The place was almost empty and the service was poor. Northern blvd is way better.
The place is dirty in their kitchen, their prices are too high compared to other places with similar foods and the amount they give on delivery orders is small. I Dont recommend it.
When the french fries cost as much as the rotisserie chicken..its time to go elsewhere. I don't know if there are new owners but they don't match up to old place we in Woodhaven loved.
Food is horrible and always to salty!!!
The food was disgusting, no seasoning very bland and mediocre.
I don't like 🤨 the food is not fresh.
food is expensive even take outs.
I wouldn't even eat at this place. I walked by it and their addition was old, everything handwritten, just a place that has not invested in their own business.
The food is good but for delivery is terrible. I wait almost 1 and 30 mimutes. Yesssss that long...!😡
Very very slow service. The one waitress there is an old lady and she's very dumb. Dont recommend this place
The cooks use the bathroom with their aprons on. Also they take long to make the order, the order was wrong. Not what this place used to be.
I love the food, but they really need better service. Waiter are extremely rude, we tried 2 times but faild.
Came in, waited to be seated - nobody approached us. Some other customers told us to just go and sit, which we did. 10 mins later a waitress brings a menu - the menus are so old that they're falling apart and are repaired with clear scotch tape. The table cloth is covered with a sheet of paper and has greasy stains on it. Asking the waitress to change it - she says OK, goes away and forgets about us. Besides us there's a few other customers, but not really packed. After another 10 mins of waiting we got up and left without ordering.
Comida le sirven dañada, servio pesimo!!! No regresó a este restaurante no se si son otro duenos. I have coming here for years (Iive near the area), but the food quality and service has been terrible the last couple of months. I will no longer be coming back as long its the same owners.
Food was NASTY LOMO saltado was not cooked right..very soggy, undercooked fries, hard chewy meat, hard rice, ice cold..literally inedible 🤢
I bought 'lomo saltado' and ceviche, but it was a disaster. Tough meat, burnt rice, and flavorless ceviche. The chef's NOT PERUVIAN that's for sure. I'd give it a -0 Had to throw it away
We had lunch today at Kinwa and we left the restaurant 5 minutes and my husband realized his credit card was missing after paying the bill went back to the restaurant and it couldn’t be found. The reason was the guy behind us went to our table, saw the card and paid for his bill $192.33 on our credit card. The waitress was not being vigilant and saw the same credit card in my husband’s name and again 5 minutes later with a stranger paying his bill!?!!?!! That is theft! We called the credit card company immediately and bingo there was the evidence. So my advice is be very careful there.. not a good feeling at all! I cannot give a good review to this place. We will never go back!
Worst place everrr. They ran out of churrasco on a Tuesday dinner time, we were very disappointed. I feel bad only one waitress but the worst part is the slow service. The pisco sour took 30 minutes to come out. It was tasty with real egg white whipped. The dinner came out an hour later and it was only 2 of us. My side of tostones never came I finished my dinner and They had to pack it up. Too many errors. Seriously never coming back.
Not recommended big groups until there is better administration. I took my employs for a baby shower to this restaurant, worse decision. First appetizer took one hour, then 2 more hours for the entrees. My guest were disappointed of me by choosing such a poor quality and bad service restaurant. The appetizer 6 in plate with peanuts?
This place was horrible!! The service was a disgrace.I came here with 3 of my friends for the first time. We waited about 30 minutes for our drinks. It took about 1.5 hours to get our food when there were only 6 people in the restaurant. We also received our appetizer and couldn’t even get plates to split it amongst ourselves. We had to dig in with forks. Beware of the lady with the tattooed eyebrows. We repeated our order about 3 times and she still got our order wrong. We ordered a baked potato and was served boiled sweet potato. Then she “fixed” it and we still ended up with boiled potatoes. Very disappointing to say the least. She never even checked on us to see if we were doing ok. There is just no reason why the service is so mediocre when the restaurant is SO small and consists of about 10 tables max. The measly star is for the taste of the food which was ok. Take note: they charge a $2.85 NON-CASH FEE. Don’t buy the sangria, everyone that purchased the sangria around us did not drink it and left it on the table.
I placed an order through Uber eats, after waiting over a hour, I was missing multiple items, and was told to come in and pick them up. On top of all of that, my food was damaged! I placed 4 orders and instead of them putting the orders in separate bags, they placed all the orders in one bag, causing the styrofoam to break and all the food to spill into the bag. All the styrofoam were stuck together due to the heat, which made a complete mess. When I told them about it, they blamed it on the Uber driver and I could come in so they could replace my beans. I brought $60 worth of food! I will never order from this restaurant again due to their unprofessionaliam and terrible customer service.
Came for fathers day. My dad is not an easy customer, but as a server myself there is definitely another way to handle such customers. The restaurant industry relies on hospitality, If any restaurant is properly and correctly managed that is all one should receive. We ordered beer and took way longer than expected, and although is was fathers day it was not busy. The restaurant as a whole has like 10 tables max and there were 2 women serving. After our food also took too long, as I said I work In the industry so even for me it was too long. After our food arrived she completely forgot about us, and it wasn't until the end that we realized she hadn't brought one item we ordered. Also when u pay with card a fee is charged. The food was nothing special, just average. I think the plates were a bit overcharged. Overall, I would not come here again.
