Polly's Pies Restaurant & Bakery Yorba Linda Reviews
Manager Christy Torres mainly served me - she leads "from the front" - steps in and helps alongside her staff, doesn't stand around yapping and twittling her thumbs, barking orders. Great follow up, assist and close out from Sarah: asks questions, delivers results. Both ladies demonstrated: Superb, friendly performances, outstanding professionalism, product knowledge, courtesy, timeliness, compassion, order exactly as requested. Happy Valentine's Day ladies. Thank you!
We had a large gathering of ladies in their party room today. Food was nice and the pie is the best, as usual. Anthony was our server and he did a stellar job! Thank you
Great place for pie...Been coming here since I was a small child with grandparents before the Whittier Blvd. location burnt down. So, it is worth the extra trip to the other locations that's how delicious everything is!!!
Food is delicious and the specials for lunch and dinner are really good value. Perfect for families. Definitely recommend going there for breakfast lunch or dinner.
Wonderful and courteous staff. They're so helpful. The food is absolutely delicious. Best cheesecake ever. Best chocolate chip cookies ever. Best brownies ever. One of my favorite go to spots.
Good, fresh food. Casual atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. It's usually not too busy and easy to get a table.
We had a very large group and our servicea was great. Outstanding job splitting up the checks and the food was out in a very timely manner.
Situated in the historic Yorba Linda train depot, we stopped in for an afternoon treat. Polly's is well known for it pie, but offers a great menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. While we ordered the coconut creme and banana creme pies for ourselves, at the advice of our server, we tried the boysenberry pie Ala mode warmed up and WOW! We enjoyed that together and it was a race to the last bite. My wife, being an only child, is not good at sharing, more on that in another review, but each bite was better than the last. So the boysenberry is excellent, the coconut creme pie is subtle, finishing with a smooth coconut taste and the banana creme is as expected with all of the pies having a soft, flaky, buttery crust that had you eating g the edges because it was just that good. If you find yourself in the area, this is a must do.
Our server was excellent, the food was delicious and we were back on our way home in no time flat. In addition to my ABC Omelette I absolutely love their cinnamon rolls. There is no place better for breakfast after a long morning of hanging Christmas lights, going or coming back from vacation, or just because.
A little slice of Yorba Linda comfort food. Came for breakfast. You will not be disappointed with the quality of the food and comforting atmosphere. Our visit truly felt like eating breakfast at home. Service was really friendly and came often to check what we needed. Coffee tasted fresh. Huge portions of food, especially the cinnamon roll.
We ordered by uber eats. Packing was good and clean. Cookie was too sweet for me but taste good. Pies were awesome ♥️
Growing up in Southern California, we used to go to Pollys Pies regularly. I didn't even know they were still around. Went with my parents and friends. Definitely comfort food orientated. Good portions and good quality. The pies were really good. Crust flaky/tasty. I would definitely take my parents there again. Service on point. Restaurant clean and homey feeling.
Good service and decent food. Maybe the pie is better, but I didn’t get any this time. We went for breakfast, which was about $10 a plate without drinks. Each basic breakfast combination gets a baked good, and you should be aware that the cinnamon rolls are huge. We had to take most of it home with us. If I came back again it would be for lunch or dinner.
The Food and the pies are always good at Polly's Pie. But my last visit, I came into Polly's, nobody, seated me right away. I was standing for 15 minutes. The 2 ladies at the cash register, never came over to seat me. I hope this Polly's improve their customers service. But on the bright side, the waiter provided great service.
Menu looks good but food served on not too appealing plates and utensils look cheap. It was the same 20 years go and same now. I wonder if different Polly pies are different. Portion seems small too.
Waiter was rude, the tone and demeanor was sharp and just rude. So much so that they were having a $1 slice with entree and I declined because the way he spoke to me was disrespectful. ***We actually came to buy a pie, but decided to have breakfast /lunch to give it a try.. needless to say we left without buying a pie.. I would put the server name out there but Im sure mgmnt already knows.
I am not a particularly sensitive traveler, but I do appreciate it when people know how to greet others and have some basic manners. This place was suggested to us after we toured the Richard Nixon Presidential Library. We were the only ones waiting to be seated and were completely ignored by the young lady selling pies; no polite greetings or "I'll get someone to seat you." It only takes a second to be polite. We waited for 10 minutes, until I decided to walk into the dining room and ask a waiter if we could seat ourselves. He told me no and walked into the back room shouting, "Am I the only one working here!" Still no one came out to seat us, so we left. And the Pie Girl just stood by and watched.
