My husband and I love coming to Panera for breakfast on weekends to start our day. Every time we come in Kat has been the one to take our orders. She is always pleasant, professional, and courteous. I had such a great experience at the Panera in Abilene, TX! The lady at the register, Kat, was amazing. She was super attentive, incredibly sweet, and went out of her way to be helpful the entire time I was ordering. You can tell she genuinely cares about customers and loves what she does. It honestly made my whole visit so much better. Big shoutout to Kat — Panera is lucky to have her!

The colored woman in the drive through always makes me feel at home when I come every evening for my sip club drink. Her smile is the atmosphere and she always seems positive. Even if there were two locations in Abilene I was still choose this one

Parking was easy and the online ordering experience was flawless. The restaurant was clean, and my order was ready soon after I arrived to dine in. The staff was kind and attentive and quick to help when I needed something. The coffee was fresh and hot. Kat was taking care of the dining room and would check on customers and make sure their food was correct, and she was quick to clean tables as customers left. She is always so kind and helpful when I come In. The manager stopped by my table to check on things, as well. Overall, it was a five star, 10/10 experience!

My husband and I went to Panera just before lunch and we were serviced by Kat. She Mae the whole experience great!! She’s a fabulous gal with awesome customer service!! One of the best customer services we have had there. This was our second time visiting sound the same time to get soup and sides out coffee. She made our day with how helpful she was and with a great attitude. I ordered the tomato soup with southwestern chicken salad and cream cheese everything bagel and a cherry pastry. My husband had the chili and onion soup and meat sausage sandwich tasted like a philly cheese steak delicious. 🤤❤️💕🤤

I have a monthly subscription to Panera’s Sip Club. Let me just say that this is one of the best deals from any restaurant ever. I pay a monthly price and receive unlimited drinks and refills. No questions asked. Road trip? Hit Panera. Work break? Hit Panera. Early morning coffee date? Hit Panera. Work remotely and want to sip drinks all day? Hit Panera. They periodically offer you decent discounts on their food items (which are some of the healthiest fast food you can find by the way). Very good deal. Regarding the Abilene S Clack location, these people are always very kind and are willing to do extra work for my subscription drinks without complaining (like putting honey in my coffee—thanks guys). There are particular employees that are very bubbly and excited. There are others that remember me and my family. As a Christian man, I wish the corporation leadership had some different values (LGBTQ+ being something I stand sharply against). However, the Abilene branch is a great establishment for what it is. I’ve eaten there, I’ve worked remotely there, and I’ve driven through there a hundred times. The wait times aren’t as bad as people say and the food is some of the best fast food when you’re specific about how you want it made (ask for your bagels warmed with butter).

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this Panera Bread location! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything was spotless and inviting. But what truly made my visit stand out was the phenomenal service I received from Dakota, the service attendant. Dakota went above and beyond to make sure my order was perfect. They greeted me with a genuine smile, patiently helped me choose the perfect meal, and even checked in to ensure everything was to my liking. It’s rare to find someone who puts so much care and attention into making a guest feel valued, and Dakota did just that. Their kindness and professionalism completely elevated my dining experience. The food was fresh, delicious, and served quickly, but it was Dakota’s exceptional customer service that made this one of the best visits I’ve ever had to Panera Bread. I will definitely be returning—and I hope everyone gets the chance to be helped by Dakota!

We love Panera Bread, and today’s visit was especially wonderful thanks to Chase! He was so knowledgeable and friendly, taking the time to explain the new fall menu items. I tried the chicken salad and the Autumn Squash Soup, and both were excellent. Chase’s great attitude and customer service made our visit fabulous. Thank you for making Panera even better!

After reading all the reviews and we're the only customers in here. I was getting a little concerned but to my surprise, my sandwich and salad were awesome and the staff was very friendly. And they kept the place tidy. I'm not sure if they have a plumbing issue, but the food was great!

Awesome place to dine in or take out. Foods are amazing, and the atmosphere inside is quite and nice. They got me one of my orders wrong but made me an extra sandwich immediately at no cost. Really enjoyed everything while staying.

My last 2 visits to this Panera would probably earn 4-4.5 stars but would’ve been 5 stars if the prices were more reasonable (I get it… bad inflation + bad economy = everything is expensive) but I’m rounding up to 5 because they have a poor rating right now. I contributed to that (my first 2 visits resulted in no food, wasted time and 1 star) but they seem to be on the ball now! We ordered a Green Goddess Chicken Cobb Salad and a Mediterranean Chicken Greens with Grains and both were very generous portions and very good! The Mediterranean could’ve used more actual grains but the Green Goddess had lots of perfectly ripe avocado! I ordered with the Panera app for pick up at the counter and it was ready less than a minute after I walked in the door! We didn’t order drinks but I noticed that they have a large selection of sodas, teas, coffee‘s, etc that I might have to try next time!

Tried the new Croque Monsieur sandwich. It was good, a little dry and I didn’t care for the Gruyère cheese spread. It has a sour, unappealing taste. The Mexican Street Corn Chowder was pretty good. Thick and rich and a great savory flavor. Overall I would get them both again, maybe just leave off the Gruyère spread on the sandwich.

I really like Panera but they are way too corporate with how they conduct their operations to the point that it inhibits business. Like you “can’t” call in an order for takeout because it’s the business’ policy even though you can do that at virtually every other dining establishment. Well online ordering is down and doordash doesn’t not have the full menu so now what? It’s not this location’s fault in particular but overall it should not be this difficult to place an order for food. If they want to run themselves like a fast food place then the prices should reflect that. Not to mention the Abilene location has a heavy up charge per item vs the majority of the locations in Dallas. Need to make more of an effort to work with their customers or this won’t be sustainable long term as this location is always empty when I visit.
