Normally I like to write very elaborate reviews. This one doesn't need one. You just have to take my word if I tell you this is a dinner you would never forget. Go here, don't hold back and enjoy an outstanding experience. If you're in two, I highly recommend both taking the 4-dish tasting platter, so you get to try 8 dishes together! Every single dish is worth trying, but it was the flan with peperoni that did it for us. We even ordered it again after. It was otherworldly. The farinata-like texture of the flan, accompanied with a straganoff inspired sauce made us fly. The unique menu deserves a special mention as well: a tiny vinyl record with the restaurant manifesto on the inside. I think it could actually be played! A QR-code on the back brings you to the online menu. A restaurant I would come back for when I am in Italy again.

Small vegan restaurant that offers take away as well! Service was very good, staff spoke English very well! Recommended food to try: Caesar salad and Spring rolls!
🌱 A must if you are in Alessandria! They offer homemade, hearty food and yummy healthy desserts. Everything was delicious, and I really liked the atmosphere, very cozy place and lovely service. And I finally found a place in Piemonte with decent tea! 100% recommended!

AMAZING! Wow, such a wonderful place. We both enjoyed our meals and deserts very much, the chilli is incredible, the tiramisu and cheesecake are the best we’ve ever had!!! We were served some lovely warm bread and delicious crackers for a starter that was very much appreciated. Loved the decor, plates and cup & saucers, very sweet. The two staff were so lovely, we felt very at home and definitely hope to return some day! ❤️
My favourite restaurant in Italy. I visited Alessandria to see where my family was from before they migrated to Australia. I never expected to find such an amazing restaurant in the process. All of the flavours and dishes from my childhood, perfectly recreated in vegan version. So much nostalgia. To make it even better, the design of the restaurant is kind of vintage and a very cool vibe. If you’re visiting the area or if you live nearby, don’t sleep on this place. It’s so good.
Incredibly delicious (regional) Italian food. Everything is vegan without compromising on the taste! The interior made me nostalgic for a period in history when I wasn’t even born yet, but it felt like I was right there. The service is also great - highly recommend this gem!
This evening we had dinner in this fantastic vegan restaurant! The service was perfect, the waiter spoke English very well so we felt very welcome. The food was delicious! Typical Italian and vegan, the best of both worlds 😋.

They win the Oscar!🥇 Even if it is a vegan restaurant, the food and service are so amazing that Antica Casa is ranked as the TOP “Number 1 Restaurant” in ALL of Alessandria as rated by Trip Advisor. In fact, 90% of their clientele are non vegan but the food is so delicious that almost everybody who comes to eat here can be delighted by the incredible and wholesome food. It is a guarantee. The excellent dishes are prepared with a daily selection of the freshest bio vegetables from local farms. If you love genuine and tasty food prepared with so much love and good vibes, Antica Casa Rava is a PARADISE for you. This place has won so many culinary awards even when competing in the general food category with non vegan food! Yes, my friends, it is THAT GOOD! Whether you find yourself in Alessandria or even if you are just passing by on the highway between Milano and Genova, do yourself a favor and come treat yourself to an amazing meal and simply the best tiramisu that you will ever taste in your life! ❤️ They also have convenient take away service. I always feel guilty when I go somewhere and I don't speak the language, but they were very patient and kind. The food is absolutely delicious! Vegan Italian at its best!!! I recommend the focaccia bread with a glass of Barbera wine, the mushroom, arancini ball, frittata, and coffee mousse (they seem to be well known for their tiramisu, I'm just not a tiramisu fan, but my family raved about it). It was all so good! The atmosphere was very quaint and relaxing, 50's style small cafe. Prices are reasonable, wine price is unbelievably good. Highly recommend. The only thing that I might be concerned about is if I came with a party larger than 8 and the parking seems a little limited...but please try, it's wonderful! Excellent service!!!

Delicious vegan restaurant with a great variety of Italian deli options, great coffees and fresh cakes. Clean facilities and charming staff!
The food was good, but portions are small and expensive. We were very disappointed with the tiramisu - a small half empty jar for 7€, and it didn’t taste like coffee at all. We expected much more from a place that veganizes traditional italian food. The coffee was delicious though.
TLDR: A vegan paradise in the middle of a healthy food desert that would be perfect if it was just a tad less expensive. Atmosphere: Very cute and vintage styling making it like "Grandma's Kitchen" vibes. Overall, very clean, but some of the decor and bathrooms were starting to show signs of wear/tear. Service: Kind, but seemed very busy / rushing even though we were the only guests in the restaurant. Food: Most of the dishes we had were very good vegan renditions of traditional Italian dishes. The eggplant parm is by far the star of the show with lots of flavor. The lemon Seiten is also very unique and full of flavor. While nothing was bad, there were a few dishes *like the arancino and Sicilian Tofu that were under seasoned and oily / greasy compare to the other delicious dishes.

The food doesnt look fresh, i am not vegeterian, and in my opinion the tastes were not good at all. They could be much better.
