We had an absolutely amazing experience here! There were 14 of us dining together, and everything from start to finish was flawless. The food was a solid 10/10. every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. Despite the size of our group, the food came out quickly and without any issues, which really impressed us. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating, making sure everyone was looked after the entire time. Every single one of us left happy and satisfied. we all loved it. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

This place is a hidden gem in the resort. Family friendly and the food is outstandingly good. Rare to visit the same place a few times on our holiday but went back to here.

My initial advice is book early because with the quality of food and the price, you’ll be lucky to get in. My cousin had a beef roast dinner with Yorkshire pudding and loads of meat. I had a really tasty shortcrust steak pie. The presentation of each was impeccable. With each meal we had both mash and roast potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, sprouts, mushrooms, french beans, asparagus and peas.Then we both had the lemon meringue pie for pudding. In a word gorgeous. Not too sweet and served with both cream and ice cream, raspberries and blueberries, dusted with cocoa, a rolled biscuit and maltesers. Lastly coffee served with a small bit of shortbread. John the chef certainly knows how to present food. Basically a wonderful meal, with friendly staff. Front of house is run by Marshall and Shirley. My only regret is that I’m going home very soon and won’t have the opportunity to go again! We’d been looking forward to visiting Gibson Bar & Kitchen for their Sunday roast, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. I went for the chicken, my wife had the beef — both were cooked to perfection, full of flavour, and served with all the proper trimmings. You could tell a lot of care went into every part of the meal. We finished with their cheesecake, which was equally fantastic. Light, rich, and a perfect end to the meal. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff were friendly, and it was everything we hoped for. If you’re after a great Sunday roast in Benalmádena, this is the place. Already looking forward to our next visit.

The quality was incredibly high, beautifully cooked, and packed with flavour. It’s clear that the chef is absolutely at the top of his game; every element on the plate was spot on. But the real stars of the show were the desserts. Quite honestly, they were the best we have ever had — as anyone can tell from the pictures. Presentation, taste, and portion size were all flawless. We’d go back for the desserts alone! A special mention must go to Shirley, who was an amazing host. Friendly, warm, and full of genuine hospitality, she made us feel right at home. Her son was equally welcoming, creating a lovely family-run atmosphere that adds so much charm to the place. Overall, Gibsons is a must-visit if you’re in Benalmádena. Absolutely tremendous family run restaurant/bar, With food a cut above the usual holiday fair. Plates almost looked to good to eat, Three stunning courses and would happily have tried any of the evening menu offerings, They all looked amazing. Defo the food highlight of the holiday.

Gorgeous breakfast profesionally presented with genuine service. I opted for the build your own which I always think is a nice option. A step above the normal English breakfast on the Costa with the sausage being particularly nice and perfectly cooked poached egg. Will return soon.

Listen. The food was just beautiful. I judged the restaurant before we sat down, I didn't expect much- and I apologise for that. The food I received far exceeded my expectations. It was one of those instances when you have a meal prepared by someone or people who actually enjoy making meals and feeding others. I had the beef salad and highland fries. Woweeee!! I didn't want to stop eating. The portions?? Perfection. That salad needed nothing else. I hope you don't change your formula. What you're doing now, works. Fresh, flavourful food. Fair price point. Just have alternative milk options on hand. Other than that, 🤌.

We managed to snag a table here last night at 6pm, the last available I think and it's obvious why they are busy. We moved to Spain 18 months ago and have eaten out a lot but I have to say this is the BEST meal I have had in that time. My partner had Fish & Chips, which was perfectly cooked and the plate was cleared, which is unusual for him. I had the Sirloin, the steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and very tasty. All of the accompaniments were again beautifully cooked, which is usually where restaurants left themselves down. Fabulous crispy french fries and the best onion rings I have had in years. The pepper sauce needs a mention as I have eaten some shocking ones but this was perfect. No room for dessert this time but we will be back. Wine was delicious and lovely and cold and everything is reasonably priced. Finally I have to mention the service, which was exceptional, caring and attentive without being intrusive. A job well done and they deserve their success.

We have visited Gibsons twice this week and the whole experience is exceptional. John the chef prepares the food to a very high standard, everything is so tasty and presented so well, he adds his own style to dishes and the flavours are wonderful. Shirley and Marshall are very friendly and professional creating a lovely relaxed vibe to the restaurant. We will definitely be visiting again when back in area and would highly recommend. Went for Sunday roast It was cold in restaurant as it doesn't get much sun. The beef was ok but the veg was very frugal only one sprout and a very small piece of cauliflower. The roast potatoes werent crisp on the outside. I've never had asparagus with a roast before nor a small tomato.

Went for food at 8.45pm was told the kitchen was closed yet there opening hour's state differently. Was asked if id like to book for the following day very disappointing.

didnt let us in because it was “full” when a bunch of tables were clearly open. They were also disagreeable when they rejected us. Not nice. DISAPPOINTED 😔😔

Do not waste your time going there if you have a dog like we did. We walked up the steep road from the beach to have lunch to be told that we could not be served as we had a dog even on the front outside terrace. There were plenty of free tables available. First experience of this in Spain.
