Bluberry Social is the perfect spot for a tasty brunch with a hip and busy atmosphere. I was looking for something delicious and this place delivers! It was quite busy and a loud environment filled with chatter, but there is outdoor seating available. I opted to sit at the bar since I was by myself. All the employees were helpful and very warm. I ordered the Big Breakfast Burrito and the Oat Latte. The oat latte was not too strong and slightly sweet. It was not the most flavorful coffee I’ve had, but I still enjoyed it. The Big Breakfast Burrito was amazing. It was crisp and brimming with rich, breakfasty goodness. The zesty side salad, crunchy tater tots, and avocado on the side was perfect. The salsa was tasty but not spicy at all, which I didn’t mind because I was given some ketchup and spicy sauce bottles on the side. If you’re looking for a cool new place to grab breakfast, brunch, or lunch, Bluberry Social is a great choice.

We checked out Bluberry Social during their first week open and I was super excited because their socials looked clean and consistent. The place is beautiful inside. The plaster work, the vibe, the decor, everything is super unique and honestly one of the cooler brunch aesthetics I have seen. I ordered the Blueberry Lemon Ricotta Pancake because it is literally their name so of course I had to try it, plus Jill’s Combo with a Belgian Waffle and a Strawberry Matcha Latte. The pancake was thin, airy, good ricotta flavor, and the Triple Berry Compote was great, a little tart so maple syrup helped but overall really solid. Jill’s Combo actually ended up being even better. Eggs were perfectly cooked, the croutons were crispy with herbs, and the sausage was insane. No clue what sausage they use but it was seriously so good. Even the arugula salad slapped with this tangy sweet vinaigrette thing going on. People at our table had the Big Breakfast Burrito which was really good, the Sunrise Avocado Toast which was huge and super flavorful, and the SoCal Loco Moco which honestly surprised all of us. The only things that did not hit were the Fried Chicken and Waffles which looked amazing but the chicken had no flavor, and the Hawaiian Ahi Poke Salad where the tuna was great but everything else missed completely. Now the drinks were honestly the stars. The Strawberry Matcha Latte was unreal, smooth, not bitter, perfect sweetness with real strawberry chunks. My wife and I are matcha people and this one shocked us. The Blue Honey Latte with whole milk was also amazing with that blueberry cold foam. Food came out extremely fast too like three to five minutes which was wild. Overall I would definitely go back but expect a wait because this place is going to get busy fast.

This is genuinely one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve ever been to, and I just adore the communal dining space. They’re most known for their brunchy items, but we were here to try their more traditional dishes. The sauce in the garlic shrimp pasta was to die for, we had to use the cheese toast to mop it up. And the vongole pasta with clams was just perfection, it was SO fresh and delicious. And don’t even get me started on the pizza! I think there was a hint of honey in it? that made it so addicting. And where else can you get a blueberry matcha latte or orange creamsicle matcha with dinner? This spot is such a vibe and the food does not miss. Thanks for reading! ^-^

Brunch with friends just found a new spot! A really fun new place to enjoy coffee, breakfast, brunch or lunch. Really cool vibes, love the soft peachy pink colors and cozy booths. The service was great, friendly and helpful with making suggestions for our first visit. The scone was perfection! Perfectly baked, not too sweet and pumpkin spice seasoning was on point. The salad had all the fixings I love , fresh vegetables, crunchy topping and delicious dressing. Plenty of grilled chicken breast. The only negative was that our table was dirty and we had to flag down someone to wipe it down for us. Otherwise, an excellent experience. Lots of free parking in the lot out front. No need for reservations. Seating indoors and out in patio. Pet friendly.

I'm usually not a breakfast person but this place makes their pastries and breakfast burritos pretty good. Tater tots were crunchy not soggy, flavorful burrito with a fresh side of salad. Absolutely love my blue honey oat milk latte. Inside and outside seating section are both good areas to have your meals.

I debated between 4 or 5 stars and settled on 5 because in the end we didn’t have a “bad” experience, they just have some kinks to work out because they’re new! The place itself is very aesthetically pleasing and has great vibes. Some seating inside, high tops, booths, and a bar top. Lots of outdoor tables too. Food - get the fried chicken and waffle. That’s the one dish I would go back for. The panko breading on the chicken was great. The chicken was seasoned well. The waffle was delicious and had crispy edges which I loved. The poached eggs on top were a little too runny with the whites in my opinion. And I liked that it had some Fresno chilis on top. Breakfast burrito was good but nothing special. Tots were nice although sparse, arugula salad was tasty, salsa was good. Loco moco was really good! Eggs perfectly cooked. Loved the furikake sprinkle on top. Mac salad was a nice touch. And the mushroom gravy was super flavorful. Pickled red onions were a nice accompaniment to help cut the richness. The pancakes were both a fail for me. I didn’t understand the deconstructed creme brûlée style of that pancake. Like the rock sugar on the side was weird. It would’ve made more sense actually torching the top of the pancake with sugar and serving that lime green sauce on the bottom or on the side. Lemon ricotta pancake was dry and didn’t taste much lemon. If you want a plain berry pancake, this would be your way to go. We also got several of the pastries baked goods, they were all good, but they’re just your typical average baked goods. Coffee and drinks were good! We all enjoyed our honey oat lattes, sea salt amber, strawberry matcha, mange green tea, all well made. Service - everyone is SUPER nice. Very attentive with the clean up too. Food and drinks came out easily, they find your table # and drop it off. The issue comes when you need flatware or extra things. They’re so quick and zoom off before you can ask. We were even proactive and went to ask first for flatware and napkins. We were told they would be brought out with our food. So we went to sit down. And the first person who dropped off the first plate of food didn’t bother to notice we had no flatware. Until the 2nd person came by with more food, we had to ask them for flatware napkins and extra plates. Then the 3rd person was nice to offer condiments like ketchup and hot sauces. But again, overall we didn’t have a bad experience and everyone was still very kind. Parking - it’s in a large strip mall retail plaza. There’s a lot of free parking but because it gets so busy the parking also gets busy and limited.

This place is amazing! I've been coming back here several times since they had soft opening about a week ago. I love their trendy & chic vibes, and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Chicken & waffles, avocado toast, and breakfast burrito are my favorite! They also added the lunch menu a few days ago, and french onion soup is the best! My favorite drinks are iced matcha latte and sea salt latte. It does get busy around 10:00 am, so I suggest going early. The staffs are friendly and hard-working. Don't forget to try their MIMOSA and DRAFT BEER!

This is a new cafe in Irvine, we came in to try it out. The vibe is pretty nice. Colors are pink and light brown with velvet seating. Very comfy. They have a good selection of pastries. The menu is still limited for the soft opening and we were told they will be adding more items soon. We tried the onion soup which was delicious. Had a finish of melted cheese on top of the croutons so it added a nice flavor. We also got the breakfast burrito which came with some potatoes and green salad with salsa on the side. It was perfectly made and fulfilling. We also tried the matcha with the oat milk. It was one of our top matchas that we tried in OC. Great flavor. Will come back to try more items next time and omg the croissants look delish!

It’s worth the hype. Come by for a great breakfast or just a cup of coffee. I couldn’t resist the seasonal pumpkin scone. Staff is friendly and the vibe is chill. Looking forward to coming back for a beverage.

Great breakfast, ordered jack’s favourite, the waffle is one of the best I have tasted. Matcha latte is great too. Plenty of parking around.

Finally! Irvine has been in need of a legit brunch spot and what a way to deliver. Food here is simple yet well executed, making the somewhat creative dishes super tasty. Service here is attentive which means service is great coming from a breakfast/brunch restaurant. The drinks here are what really shine. As a expresso/coffee fan, this place really show how great a latte or match latte can be. Overall this place will definitely be a part of our rotation.

Awesome new restaurant in Irvine! I've been here a couple times now and the food was really good! Breakfast Burrito 10/10. Really good mixture of ingredients and really nice tortilla Avocado Toast 9/10. Really solid, very fresh! I tried both hot sauces with it, red and green and it added a good flavor. Cappuccino 10/10. Really good! Oat Milk Latte 10/10. The espresso taste in their drinks have a great flavor, their baristas know what they're doing. Excited to try more things here! Staff was super friendly and the place has a cool vibe.

We came here for brunch around 10am and it was a bit difficult to find a spot, but staff and service was great and kind. The food came out relatively fast and we got the breakfast burrito, lemon ricotta pancake, and locomoco dish. Everything taste great and good atmosphere for girls catch up or family brunch. If you have toddler they only have one high chair so something to think about in advance. Otherwise, coffee is good, food is great, would highly recommend!

atmosphere is great and very aesthetic inside. the food isn’t bad, but i think their drinks are better. the pancake is a bit dry and it was falling apart every slice i take. chicken and waffles were very buttery. if you’re into that you’ll like it. the loco moco wasn’t bad, the eggs were a bit overcooked imo. i recommend the egg sandwich. overall, the place is cute but i think i’d go here for the drinks more. the staff and service were great!!

We ordered so cal loco moco, brisket hash omelette and house waffle. Place has a nice vibe but unfortunately food is not fresh. For that reason won’t be coming back.

I visited in late September during their soft opening. The space is beautiful and the food quality was relatively good. However, the outdoor seating area had a lot of small bugs, they would even stick to us and the food, which made it uncomfortable to sit outside. Service also felt uncoordinated that day. We were a party of three, and my drink arrived only when I was almost done with my meal, and it came cold. I understand it was their first day and very busy, but it definitely affected the experience.

I visited with a friend for lunch/brunch around 1:30 on a Sunday. We ordered around 1:50pm. I ordered a blueberry matcha, house waffles, and a side of sausage. My friend ordered the brisket omelette and a strawberry matcha. The drinks came in a timely manner but the food took over 40 minutes. I am sure they forgot our order. There were people who came after us who were getting their food before us. Workers walked past several times during the 40 minutes and never checked in on us. By the 40 minute mark my friend went to ask about the status of our order. Before she could even finish her sentence, the waitstaff cut her off and asked sharply what our numbers were as if we were being a nuisance. She came to us after checking and asked us for our receipts/what we ordered before returning to the kitchen. About 5 minutes later she returned with our food (around 2:45/2:50). She apologized but did not specify what had occurred or offered any kind compensation for the long wait. Anywhere else we would have been offered some kind of complimentary item or an explanation. Our meal totaled over $60. The food that came out was not worth the 40 minute wait or the $60 price tag. The food was lukewarm and it tasted like it had been sitting. The omelette was just scrambled eggs with barely any brisket and a measly amount of tater tots. The waffle was okay but nothing to write home about. The only good thing that came out of this meal were the drinks. I would not dine here again. The food is average and not worth the cost, and the service was poor.

Good coffee, but weird experience. I went in last week for a coffee and really liked it, I asked for a mug and it was very comfortable. This week I come in craving the same (the only reason i came back was for the warm latte in a mug) and I got denied my request of a mug.... saying the policy was no mugs for lattes??? Anyways, ill go somewhere else next time when im craving a coffee. Other places care more about the customers than here. Thought I would get a better experience seeing as I am paying 26 bucks for two coffees and a croissant...... ALSO, a 6 dollar side of tater tots gets you a total of 15 tots!!! Isnt that amazing? 40 cents a tot :| Clear to say we wont be back.

⭐️ 1-Star Review I’m extremely disappointed — and honestly upset — that I paid $17 for French Toast and didn’t even get what I ordered. Our first visit to Blueberry Social a few weeks ago was so wonderful that my husband and I came back last Saturday (Dec 6th) looking for a comforting breakfast. Sadly, this visit was nothing like the first one. My husband stood in line forever to order while I looked for a table. When I asked a waiter to clean the only available one, he said he would — but never returned. I had to flag down a second waiter who eventually came over to clean it. But the real issue was the French Toast. We ordered plain French Toast — simple, just powdered sugar and maple syrup. Instead, they brought what I’m assuming is their specialty version: covered with fruit, topped with a white watery sauce, and when I lifted the top slice, there was some kind of chocolate filling inside. That is absolutely not what we ordered. I told the waiter, and he said he could replace it and it would take 5 minutes. It took longer, and when the replacement finally arrived, the person bringing it over looked annoyed. And honestly? The second plate wasn’t much better. I could only eat around the edges because the middle was gooey and undercooked — not soft, but raw-ish, like the egg mixture never cooked through. There was barely any powdered sugar either. It tasted nothing like proper French Toast. All of this… for $17? At that point, you should have apologized and offered some sort of discount or gesture — even though I wouldn’t have taken it. I didn’t come for a refund; I came hoping for a nice, relaxing, enjoyable breakfast, not a mistake on top of another mistake. Even the cappuccino had a sour taste. The only thing that tasted good that morning was my husband’s hash browns. Between the long wait, the unclean table, the unfriendly service, and being served the wrong dish first and undercooked food second, this visit felt like a complete waste of money. Nothing about this matched the wonderful experience we had the first time. This is based solely on my personal experience, but that Saturday it went from a 5-star place to a 1-star one. Something was definitely off — whether it was the person taking orders, the cook, or both.
