Great location. Often very busy but has lots of seating. A little noisy for a business meeting g but can also sit outside where it's a little quieter.

Service and quality are always a given at this Starbucks, but what we wanted to mention is how much they care about the community. There is a homeless woman over 70 lost and alone who came into the store and they helped us to get her some food and drink. This goes way above and beyond - she smelled and was not behaving normally - most places would simply throw her out or call the police - it takes an incredibly generous group of people to see beyond the condition and potential disruption to customers to help someone like this. We were so impressed that we wanted to acknowledge the generosity and caring shown by the Starbucks staff - IMPRESSIVE!

Very busy... longer than usual wait on Saturdays and Sundays... even though they have several employees filing orders. Seems like the nature of custom drinks creates wait lines regardless...

This is a very posh Starbucks with leather seats and a lot of electrical outlets for people with notebooks or phones to charge. Many casual and business clientele visit here where the mix seems to be locals and visitors to the Fashion Island in Corona del Mar.

I have been a regular customer of this place. I always love the atmosphere, great customer service, and the quality drinks. Particularly, I like their coffee mocha. It is the best mocha I’ve ever had. I also would like to appreciate the staff for being super nice. Last time, I asked for alcohol pads and a sanitizer and they gladly provided that to me. They have a nice indoor and outdoor seating. This is a must go place for coffee lovers.

The best Starbucks I've been to. Their coffee and fraps were by far the best we've had at any Starbucks. The wait time for our 2 fraps was too long though. I got my cafe latte and our food at least 10 min before our fraps were ready. I don't know if it's because they had a lot of online orders to fulfill and perhaps they were understaffed. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Fantastic location eat outside around the corner and see the ocean in shaded padded lounge chairs. Fast processing the orders. Super fun place to visit.

A very nice Starbucks and opened incredibly early in the morning. I got some great photographs of sunrise, enjoy the coffee, and spent hours working there leaving just before the crowds started to arrive at around 10:00 a.m. I really like this one and I'm going to be coming back on a regular basis. By the way staff is delightful, efficient, and even when crowded move it along at a pretty good rate.

This store is at a convenient location in Fashion Island. This particular location is always busy but the wait is usually shorter than the line may make it look, and the staff are great. They are fast, friendly and deliver the customized (no matter how intricate) orders with a smile 😊🙏🏻

It's a starbucks. I like their coffee. The bathroom is clean. Now for this particular starbucks. It is large and beautifully laid out, both inside and out, is open very early in the morning for some unknown reason but it fits my schedule perfectly, and all in all I look forward to hitting this place whenever I have a meeting in their area. To be honest I've gone there a few Sunday mornings just to enjoy the sunrise with my coffee. Definitely a good one if you're in the area.

When I ordered a crossiant, I ordered it wrong and didn't get it warmed. Later, when I got it, I noticed my mistake and wanted to get it warmed. However, Starbucks doesn't accept it since they can not take good back. The cashier, Des, said that she could give me a new one, warmed, for free. I asked her not to since I felt bad for getting free food. Later on, as I was enjoying my drink, Des came to my table and gave me a new and heated crossiant. I was absolutely shocked and grateful at the same time. Amazing service. (P.s. a warmed crossiant is so much better than a cold one)

This is one of the best Starbucks locations in OC because of all the seating it offers!! Large indoor and basically a huge outdoor space! You can meet with big groups to study or just catch up. It's also nice that Whole Foods is right next door...You could spend all day here :)

This Starbucks is so lovely! Drink was exactly what I expected, parking was free and easy, and there’s tons of seating for getting some work done. Top marks for having outlets and a huge double sided booth perfect for getting comfy with a cup of joe and a computer. Bonus points for massive windows that let in tons of lights which adds to the pleasant ambience. Might be my new WFH hang!

I ordered the strawberry funnel cake Frappuccino and I also got myself a cup refillable venti size green color and of course I used my stars and they sure helped me redeem it. Super extra stars to the staff! One girl even had a conversation we and helped me with my app! She also made bomb beverages! I tried the brown sugar cortado but even just one pump made it too sweet. Inside I went on a frappe binge x3! They helped me stay hydrated ex specifically when I can't keep anything else down. And worked up my appetite to get a spinach all. Enjoyed a few hours of self love reading and sipping. Nice clean cool place but an annoying bathroom code that we all just shared anyway. Though there was a lady deeply offended when she asked for the code & was told she had to buy something first which she did via the app..this new bathroom bs w Starbucks doesn't count a lot of normal daily situations such as app or drive thru orders.

This is a very popular Starbucks. Lots of affluent and famous locals visit this location. Service is fast and efficient. Good indoor and outdoor seating options. The store is nice and clean. They have a few sests electric outlets for phone charging, which can be hard to find in SoCal.

An excellent experience. I rarely post for chains but the service and the quality of my order impressed. Young man serving my wife and I was friendly and efficient and even recommended an alternative way to try my drink (java chip with espresso rather than the frap coffee) which really elevated it. That aside the store was clean, there was space to sit and everything in store was presented well. Again the excellent customer service from 'Britton' made it an enjoyable visit.

I like this Starbucks very much. Its easy to get in and out and it is well managed. There is a good amount of seating inside and out and there is even a large table for groups. I only wish it was open a bit later. However, there is a Starbucks in Fashion Island that is open till about 10 PM

Very busy store but plenty of staff to pump out drinks in a very short time. Seems like this store is faster when it's at its busiest. Can't say that about all Starbucks but excellent service here. My biggest beef with ALL Starbucks is they don't have enough staff to prioritize cleanliness. When the stores are busy they have just enough hands to get food and beverage out but the dinning floor is a flippin' disaster. Garbage cans over flowing, tables not wiped and accessories not stocked along with grimy door handles and entry doors not to mention the bathrooms. That's my only complaint. Get the app and take advantage of points and continual encitives.

It gets pretty busy here. I forget...but there's one barista who's always quick and precise. If I come back here again, I will put a note to which barista it is. But when it gets super busy, there's a long line. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. They should really think on expansion, because no one wants to sit outside when it's so nice and comfy inside.

Came in for my birthday Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew. Service was prompt, and the barista was polite and courteous.

This Starbucks, in fashion island, was the only place open on Thanksgiving Day and it was a treat! I surely enjoyed my pumpkin spice latte!

My daughter and I went in to Starbucks for a Peach Green Tea Lemonade, but they were out of the peach syrup. We then asked for the Dragon fruit syrup instead of the peach and it wasn't very good. They tried to fix it by giving me more syrup but it didn't help. The black tea was bitter as well. I was surprised because this location has always been consistently good. We'll try again the next time we're at Fashion Island.

Nice place with a cozy outdoor space. Normally the service is good and the staff are all nice and kind. Sometimes it can get very busy and you may end up waiting for 10-15 minutes to get your order. The area is usually clean and the outdoor seating is also covered and clean. Usually you can find empty seats even when they are very busy, since they have lots of seatings available.

The service at this Starbucks is hit or miss, but generally the staff is friendly. I'd say they're quick and efficient about 80% of the time. Sometimes an order will slip through the cracks or come out wrong. DON'T DOUBLE PARK in front, I see people getting tickets all the time.

Efficient and clean store. Only complaint is I ordered 3 lattes with no foam and no room. When I got them home, all 3 drinks were a good inch down from the top. Suggest you check your drinks for short pours before leaving the store.

It's nice when a coffee comes to mind and there is a Starbucks on almost each & every corner, at least every strip mall or busy neighborhood block- in The O🍊C Prices are -very high- in my opinion - this am. I was in need of an Orange 🍊 Juice & the S. B. I went in had a selection- very yummy blend🍌🍎🍊🥭of juices @ $5 ea. and not even 16oz. A Little steep in $$ for a small juice but it fulfilled what I was in need of ! 🍇🍪🥤 I like to have their blended coffee drinks- so I make it my treat a couple times a month @ $6.++- 🍯☕ They sure know how to blend them which keeps me coming back again & again ☕🍮🥯

Service was great, however, never enough seating for regular customers. Students cover the inside on laptops. Non-student customers should also have a place to sit inside, especially when weather is super hot or super cold. Students should have a separate designated area. NOT FAIR to regular customers!!

I've been here around five times. Nice store, convenient location, typical good Starbucks coffee. Rather rude employees and there is one male batista who never listens to my order and always is fidgeting or mumbling when I'm ordering. My drink is simple and on the menu with no additional instructions and they always get it wrong.

First time I've been to this location..Not sure why, but my normal carmel machiatto order just didn't taste good. It was busy and could've have possibly have been why...but when isn't it busy? This location also seemed unorganized, hard to hear, and logistically chaotic as we were waiting for the drinks.

Pretty busy throughout the day. Seating options are okay. No freestanding tables (most are placed around connected bench seats). The proximity means it's less than ideal for working individually (round tops instead of rectangle are small) and for meetings (too close to others). A communal high top with stools offers the same problem with no power outlets or back support.

Although I sometime go there, I try to avoid this place for two reasons: 1) The music is always so loud than you cannot strike a friendly conversation, this has been an issue for years, makes you think Starbucks does not do any sound level control in their stores. 2) The place is way too cold in the summer and in the winter it feels like there is no heater so it is the coldest Starbucks year round. There are a few other chains in the area that won't have those downside and there is also a Starbucks inside the Barnes and Nobles next door that does not have those problems. Staff is relatively friendly depending on who you interact with as some of the staff members tend to be unfriendly with foreigners which is not the case at some of the other Starbucks so it made me laugh a bit when I saw one of the previous comments, I guess someone else experienced it first hand. Aside from the freezing cold temperature and screaming sound level the place is ok.

The environment was quite nice overall, but one staff member, Adele, stood out for all the wrong reasons. Upon my arrival, the noise level was high, which seemed to frustrate her and resulted in an unwelcoming, impatient attitude. This behavior is unacceptable, especially when I was simply trying to place my order. However, I appreciate that her coworkers stepped up to create a more pleasant atmosphere despite her rude demeanor.

Awful service, I stood there for a full thirty second count whilst the four workers ignored me and carried on with their two separate conversations. I left. Update: visited again today and service was much better, they acknowledged me and service was quick.

Just came in for a coffee, it is a Starbucks, all the same. I don't normally go to six bucks. I did.not find a local alternative. I wouldn't say I like their coffee, even the medium roast is overdone and has a bite that good coffee should not have. As one of the leaders in the industry, you would think it would be better.

It is a busy store yes, but if you mobile order a ice coffee and get in the store 10min later they didn’t have it ready, you ask the people working there and they will tell you they are working on it. Then another 5min still nothing, by the time you can see the people how order after you get in the store have there drinks, so I need yell to make attention by the supervisor works there to make my order. I got my ice coffee 20min after placing the order. That is not a good customer experience at all.

Staff seemed uninterested and aloof at best. Interior was filthy, bathroom had no toilet paper and there was trash all over. Mentioned to staff member the state of the restroom, and received no acknowledgement, just looked at me and went back to making drinks. Fine, I get that, but when I asked the other person if they could at least put some toilet paper in there (my three year old desperately needed to go) but was met with what felt like a huge inconvenience. Only thing saving this review is the fact that the drinks were actually made well.

What used to be my favorite location, I’ve come to this Starbucks less and less as the service has gone downhill. Mobile order customers are visibly intentionally ignored though their order sits just behind the counter. Perhaps hiring an associate to focus on handout is necessary, or encouraging staff to be friendly and take initiative as mobile order customers approach...

When offering promotions. Perhaps you should have more than 1 employee taking orders.

Manager over works employees, which most employees are college students, is not accommodating, changes schedules without notifying, expects unrealistic hours from people and she is rude to customers and her staff.

this is the second Starbucks (other in Bend OR) that no longer offers decaf but requires a more expensive pressed coffee or americano. When did the become Starbucks corporate policy? Shameful.

Everyone moves as slow as possible. There’s no reason it should take 20 minutes to get a coffee. All the baristas just stand around and talk. I had to cancel my order because I was late for work because they took so long.

I don’t usually write bad reviews as I myself have worked at busy Starbucks stores and understand the pressure. However, this store has given me my worst experience with this company. First, I asked them to return/exchange a tumbler I had and they told me they couldn’t do that without a manager (which is false because I as a Starbucks supervisor have done it). So I asked when the manager would be in the next day so I could do the exchange. The shift supervisor said “all day” which is false because the store is open for 17 hours and there is no way anyone there is going to work 17 straight hours. I asked 3 times and they wouldn’t give me a specific time frame. Second, we ordered drip coffee and they didn’t give it to us right away which they usually are supposed to do. We waited for a very long time and then they gave us the wrong sizes even though we paid for ventis. When we brought this to their attention they poured a little bit of coffee in a bigger cup and handed it to us with no lid. Am I supposed to walk around the plaza with 2 half empty coffees in my hand? So unprofessional, extremely disappointing experience.

This was one of the worst Starbucks experiences I have ever had. I will never come here again. I did a mobile order and in the past, it is usually ready by the time I get there. Today it was not ready and not even close to being ready even though my name was under the ready column on the mobile pick up board. Other customers were in the same situation and some also had issues with their orders. The ambience was unwelcoming. No one greeted or said hello. There were four employees and only one girl was making most of the drinks there was another gentleman making drinks but randomly. I don't know what kind of system they had, but it was unorganized insufficient, and slow. The girl making the drinks finally asked me what I was waiting on and I told her and she's like, "oh I'm making it right now." She made a couple more drinks before mine. She did not read my drink order because I ordered it to be warm and it was scolding hot. There was no sleeve on it. I burned my hand. I was going to just reach out to the manager at this store directly, however, there's no link to contact the store. I would like to hear from the store manager to share more about this horrible experience. Completely unacceptable. This location was not busy at all, so this lack of service makes no sense. In addition I always tip on my drinks before hand (big mistake today) and I wish I could take my tip back because apparently my tip provided me to wait longer and have my order made wrong and to get my hand burned. I usually get a thank you, friendly drawing or note on my cup but not today. I know I am not the only customer who had this experience today so either get it together or you're going to lose a lot of customers. Fashion Island has A LOT BETTER COFFEE designations than this one... like Nordstrom EBar, Scratch Bakery & Cafe, Joe & The Juice and now Ralph's Coffee.

Service is terrible!! I ordered a worm beverage, and I specifically ask to please don't make it too hot. Of course, they make it very hot. I come back very nicely and respectfully to ask for a little bit of ice to add myself to my cup. The very obnoxious barista, a guy with painted hair, handed me a BIG cup full of ice, and he asked me IS THIS ENOUGH?? with a very rude attitude. It was very sarcastic. Apparently, I insulted him just because I asked for a bit of ice. The manager didn't do anything to accommodate a client and just asked him to walk away.

It’s 5:03 and they still not open. Hours do say 4:30am-10pm. I wouldn’t have turned or drove this way if they had the correct hours online! SMH

The personnel at this starbucks have a rotten attitude and the service’s terrible, basics like greeting is missing and its service with an attitude of self importance…..

RACIST Lady in the mornings ! I have been coming in to this starbucks at least 3 times a week. Unfortunately for me the times I come on the weekday mornings around 7AM this person works there (white middle age lady mid 40s shoulder length blonde hair) and every single time she ignores me but when it’s people her own race she treats them so differently and kind. I have tried so many times to say good morning and she literally ignores me. I have come to the conclusion she is racist based on my interactions and what I have witnessed over 3 months. Lady I get it it’s Newport Beach, but if we are coming in to this Starbucks best believe we have the money to do so as well despite of our race.

Wow, talk about slow service. Walked in to get a tall coffee and a cold brew. Tall coffee came out fast but the cold brew didn't come out. The male barista was chit chatting with the famine cashier and nothing was being made. I went up to ask about my cold brew and the male barista said he had 3 of them ahead of me. I looked around and only one other person was there. I had been waiting nearly 10 minutes for a simple pour over ice cold brew! screw that! I had them give me my money back and left! Never to return again!
