Excellent bar made even better by a fab team of bar staff. The drinks are lovely, perfect location, always have a laugh and plenty of opportunity meet new people. This would be the first place in Benidorm that I recommend to anyone here.

Staff are all very nice had a great time chatting to some of them and meeting this nice older lady who was thier for 3 weeks staying at the queens hotel next to it. I'd drink with her some days on my hol. The lady who works thier and her wive who was visiting where very nice to talk to also. The owner is very nice man also had a nice chat at bar one night i was in thier he seems a good laugh to be around. I'll be back in April for sure. Place is safe and very lgbt friendly being a young gay man on my own they were always talkative and polite. Cocktails were great and good price

Googled "best sangria in benidorm" Bar 69 came out on top and boy they were right. Really refreshing and fruity. Was decanted from a used southern comfort bottle which was a nice touch. Was a bit worried at first as I thought I was getting pure sc 😂 Not loads of ice either so you get a genuine litre all for £12. Bargain and great service a bonus

Best bar in Benidorm! All staff members (but particularly Simon the owner) we're really great at making us feel at home. We came in on our first day and ended up returning every night of our stay just for Simon alone! He really makes this place and his passion for his customers and drinks are really second to none. Didn't eat here ( if they do food I didn't notice) but reasonably price beer, two tables where smoking is permitted, and a great place to people watch. Acces for those differently abled may be tricky. Toilet ok and accessible level to entrance which is technically/theoretically easily accessible by wheelchair if it isn't crowded. Will I visit again? We found ourselves in bar69 by accident one day as we were exploring and ended up staying there for 7 hours! The owners are really fab as was the young barman. We were made to feel at home and the drinks kept on coming! The homemade sangria was a real treat! Gutted we didn't get any pictures but bar69 is firmly on our list of places to visit every time we are in Benidorm.

Came for the world famous Sangria and it didn't disappoint! Make sure you sit in the right seats or the bar next door will bring it to you!

We couldn't have been made more welcome. It was pretty busy on Christmas eve but the asked people to move so that my mum (who is walking with sticks) could sit down. There was music playing outside, the atmosphere was fab. The staff were so attentive, I would definitely visit again. Thank you guys we had a fab time

Our first time in Benidorm and visited Bar 69 twice. You are always guaranteed a warm welcome and the Sangria was beautiful and definitely the best I tried. There is also a huge list of cocktails to choose from and I would highly recommend the Mudslide.

Piccolo ma super accogliente, Belar 69 è uno dei bar gay più piacevoli di Barcellona. L’atmosfera è rilassata e inclusiva, perfetta per iniziare (o finire) la serata con il piede giusto. La sangria è davvero buona, servita con generosità e a prezzi onesti. Il personale è gentile e simpatico, sempre pronto a scambiare due parole o a consigliare cosa prendere. Il locale è spesso molto frequentato, il che lo rende vivo e pieno di energia, senza mai risultare caotico. Un ottimo posto per bere qualcosa in un ambiente amichevole e senza troppe pretese. Da provare se sei in zona e cerchi un bar gay autentico e accogliente.

Came here a few times. Great atmosphere at the staff are absolutely hilarious. Real friendly decent guys. The beers are cold and the sangria is the best around. You get a big 1 litre bottle for 12 Euro. Definitely worth visiting these guys in the old town.

Great pub with a lot of great banter.. usually quite hard to get a table as all full, but the staff are lovely the beer and cocktails (which a few have questionable names🤣) were good and reasonably priced too. Recommend for a drink and a laugh.

What great little place. A real mix of people and a really friendly host. I went in with my mum and felt really welcome. I was promised the best sangria in the world and I'm not going to argue. It was obviously proper home made stuff as it was served in a used 1 litre spirit bottle 🤣. I managed the litre but don't remember a great deal about the walk home. Definitely make the time to visit this bar. HINT: if you are sitting outside, make sure you are sitting in the correct seats as the terrace is shared by another bar, and their sangria isn't as good 😅.

A fantastic place to drink and have a giggle. Fab cocktails, service and place to chill in the heart of old town. We were well looked after on every visit, the staff are great and also very well priced drinks. Definitely be back. Thanks guys.

A little bar with a few chairs and tables in old town. Sangria was ok, but wouldn't personally class as the best I've had. Long wait for two drinks

Love this little bar, was very disappointed today, sangria wasn't good . To be honest I've had better from the supermarket Dom Simon for 3€ far to sweet also, couldn't taste any alcohol. Maybe just blip, staff and owner are great. We were seated in side your bar by the way as all your strippy tables were full outside. As I have said the staff and owner are great but the sangria was very ribena like and couldn't taste any alcohol.

I dislike leaving bad reviews but in this instance I feel it necessary. We were sat waiting to be served and one of the waiting staff bumped into one of our party's chair and turned around and said "you might want to tuck your chair in" and then when confronted about his rude behaviour he then called another one of our party a 'weirdo'. Never come across such rude behaviour. We never got to try the drinks unfortunately.
