I don't drink coffee, but my husband is a coffee snob - special burr grinder, vintage Pavoni machine, scale to weigh the beans - you get the picture. :) We hired Jasraj and Roaming Bean Coffee for our 30th wedding anniversary vow renewal after he tasted one of Jasraj's cappuccinos. So Jasraj celebrated his own birthday by serving delicious drinks to our ReUnion guests visiting from around the country. Jasraj was both a caring human and a considerate professional from the moment we contacted him - he worked with us to create the menu for our event and allowed us to pay in installments. Every single guest I spoke with RAVED about Roaming Bean's coffee - and not a polite response to a query, but an unprompted full-throated endorsement. Jasraj even made a cardamon cappuccino for my husband and a vanilla cardamon steamer for me, so we wouldn't miss out. Thanks so much, Jasraj, for making a wonderful event that much tastier!

Roaming bean coffee was one of the best vendors we had at our wedding. They were professional, accommodating and fun! Jasraj made sure he knew our vision for both events (wedding and henna night) and incorporated our vision into the coffee flavors. He worked for months to create a flavor that we really wanted. He really went above and beyond by trying so many flavors and preparing months before the event. One thing that really stood out was his attention to detail and knowing his audience. He was very experienced and knew exactly the type of drinks that are popular at indian events - including creating new flavors based on our family's preferences. We were amazed by his dedication and hard work into making our event perfect. All of our guests loved the drinks and the team, we had so many people asking us where we got the coffee!! We are already thinking of having roaming bean coffee for our next event :)

Roaming Bean Coffee has the best cappuccinos to start off my morning! This coffee shop is conveniently located off highway 80 in Berkeley, along my commute to work. It’s always such a treat stopping by for a latte or cappuccino before work. It’s so amazing that there’s so much parking, so I can easily run in and out. What’s even better is how friendly the barista is! He accommodates any requests I have, such as low foam cappuccinos or extra hot lattes. Very nice person! And, yes, the coffee is superb, you can’t go wrong with any drink you order. I highly recommend a visit on your way into the Bay Area.

Our cycling club rolled into Roaming Bean Coffee at the Berkeley Marina during a weekend group ride. We enjoyed our coffees and the staff clearly love what they do. The location was just off the Bay Trail and really convenient for cyclists. We could almost roll up to the order window to get our coffees. It is literally right on the water which offered us an ideal coffee stop with a view on our ride. Great vibes and definitely recommend them.

This little cart on the Bay has the most amazing coffee, what a random find. Super knowledgeable barista, medium roast beans with La Marzocco equipment. Do not miss it if you are passing by and if in the neighborhood, plan a detour!

Stopped by Roaming Bean Coffee in Berkeley for a drink with a view—the location on the water is amazing. The barista was super nice and I really wanted to love it, but the drink I got tasted basically like water, not coffee at all. Definitely a weird experience. I’ll go again to try something else.
