A very filling and incredibly satisfying meal. When I am craving a gyro, which I often do, THIS is the place I’m thinking of. The gyro meat is beef and lamb and are both velvety and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The laffa is special. The soft doughy bite brings a whole different texture to the wrap and elevates the food from delicious to crave-worthy. The wrap is also well coated with sauce, so it’s not dry. Another go to of mine is the falafel. They have a think layer of fry and are filled with a deep flavor from the spices. I love putting the falafel in the gyro, its crunchiness mixed with the tender meat and soft bread is the perfect bite. The gyros are the size of your forearm and you will cherish every bite.
My first time at Joe's and wow is all I can say, you don't go for the ambiance you go for incredible food. Iit was recommended to me so I thought I would check it out, the Kofta was exactly like my grandmother made it. The pita was amazing, but the real star was the falafel, best I've ever had. I can't wait to go back.
Food was amazing. Falafel in specific was the best I’ve ever had. Elay, the cashier at the front was extremely nice and helpful with everything even though we had a bunch of requests.

Authentic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Food You haven't truly experienced the neighborhood until you’ve eaten at Joe’s Falafel. There is something special about a place where you see the owner, Joe, working side-by-side with his sons, Eli and Bishara. Their teamwork is seamless, and they make every customer feel like part of the family from the second they walk in. The food is consistently incredible, everything from the signature falafel to the fresh-baked laffa is served hot, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. It is easily some of the best Mediterranean food in Los Angeles. I really encourage everyone in the the neighborhood to come out and support this local, family-run gem. Businesses like this are the heart of our neighborhood, and Joe and his boys deserve all the success in the world for the hard work they put in every day. Don't miss out!

Found this place on Reddit and decided to give it a try. Their food is so goood, especially their falafels. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and crumbly within. Definitely a good recommendation.
It’s unparalleled. Just fantastic. You’ll walk in and feel like you’ve been to places like this but then take your first bite and realize there are not other places like this. The combination of unassuming straightforward service and truly masterfully good food is not something I’ve seen anywhere else. The only other place I’ve had bread of this quality was the countryside of Turkey and even then Joe’s might have them beat. It’s art in the form of food.
Great! Had a small Greek Chicken Salad (it wasn’t small) and a couple of a la carte falafels. Both were fantastic. Best Buy near universal studios, for sure.
OMG! The bread used for the wraps was delicious! Family recipe shhh it's a secret. Friendly polite staff. Owner came out to greet us and gave us falafel samples that made my mouth water. Very tasty. Hands down the best Mediterranean joint you can find in LA, their food is delicious and consistent every time I visit. The staff has a great attitude as well, serving everyone with a smile. Love coming here! A+++
The falafel wrap was great. Their hummus tastes delicious. Their chicken bowl was tasty and it had a very flavorful sauce to it. The rice is good in the bowl.

If you like zankou and think it's amazing wait until you try Joe's Falafel. Everthing is made in house and it tastes so good! The flavors! It has the same vibe as zankou but not dry and I'm telling you, you won't ever want to go back to zankou after having the good stuff here. Plus friendly service. Be sure to ask for garlic sauce too!
So delicious. Every few months I go through a phase where all I can eat is Joe’s Falafel. It’s so good that I just get hooked and can’t stop!! I’ve been a vegetarian for about 40 years so I’ve eaten A LOT of falafel, hummus, baba etc. Joe’s is in the top 3 and that’s including eating in the Middle East and Europe. So delicious, so fresh, nutritious. It’s also a perfect portion (two meals for me—tip—buy an extra pita:) at a totally reasonable price—it’s actually a bargain! AND the people are SO nice. Genuinely welcoming, nice and friendly! Joe is often there and is a very warm and kind person. And it’s clean, spacious and there’s parking. It’s perfection. LOVE JOES!
The food was absolutely delicious and the hospitality unmatched. Falafels were soft and fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The kafta was the best I’ve ever tasted anywhere. Sooo juicy!! Portion sizes are definitely shareable. We were a family of 4 visiting from Texas and wanted something low key and quick. So glad we found this gem! Wil return on our next visit.
We drove from Las Vegas to Los Angeles to visit Universal Studios, and after a long day we wanted a good meal. We came across Joe’s Falafel, and at first we weren’t sure—but once we stepped inside, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was outstanding. We even had the chance to talk with the owner, Joe, and his sons, who were incredibly kind, friendly, and charming. They made us feel right at home.

Nice little hole in the wall, super clean and well furnished with TVs. Staff is amazing and will go above and beyond for you. Food is top notch and so close to our hotel that we were pleasantly surprised at our "quick" stop thinking we were just going to fill up on whatever. Food blasted our taste buds with flavor and the guys there were amazing and very well mannered. An excellent experience.

Great, high-quality food and service. This is possibly the best falafel I have ever tried! The lafa bread was fresh and warm-- it is a must try. The hummus was good too. Overall, a great plate of food.
We were looking at the menu posted on the window outside and the owner came out to greet us. He was very friendly and offered our family some falafel samples which were really fresh and tasty. We ordered lamb gyro, beef kebab wrap, and kids meals and were super happy with the food we ordered! The meat was SO delicious!! Everything tasted so good! We will definitely go there again!
