A great surprise. I happened upon it during this year's Alpine gathering. The food was excellent, tasty, and plentiful. I really enjoyed the risotto with sausage and beer, the carpaccio with bagna cauda, ​​and the bunet. As for the hospitality, it was truly special, making you feel at home. The only downside is that it's far from where I live. I'll definitely be back, though.

A small trattoria in Occhieppo Inferiore where workers and truck drivers have lunch, and that alone is enough to understand that the food here is divine!!! I stopped there for lunch while passing through Biella... they were very full, but they still found me a small table (really cute, by the way)... you can choose the set menu (water, wine, coffee included) with a first course and side dish, or a second course and side dish, or a complete menu... I chose a first course and side dish... you have a choice of 6/7 first courses and 6/7 second courses, all really tasty. I opted for tagliolini with meat sauce!! Aside from the colossal portion (it looked like it was about 200 grams), they were nothing short of AMAZING!!! The side dish of snow peas with tomato sauce was DELICIOUS!! Final bill €11!!! In short, if you find yourself passing through, you have to stop at Trattoria del Peso!!! Unmissable!! But make sure to book, otherwise you'll probably miss out!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Sublime flavors, in this trattoria with typical Piedmontese flavors. I tasted some delicious specialties, starting with appetizers like "grilled toma and speck" and "chestnuts, butter and cream," not to mention the first courses, pasta cooked to perfection and exceptional flavors. Unfortunately, we didn't try all the second courses, but I can assure you that the veal cutlet with white wine and lemon is truly delicious. I highly recommend eating here because you eat well and a lot, and you pay very little. If we really had to find a flaw, it would be that the dishes were really, really large. If you're a big eater like me, that's fine, but if you happen to be with people who don't eat much, it might be a bit of a waste. Still, highly recommended.
