Pleasant breakfast experience, no wait for a table, receptionist was very helpful, my server was kind, got a latte and ordered the Montezuma hash, portion was generous, elk sausage was tender and flavorful, hash was super crispy without being oily, veggies were just seared, very nice, the eggs were just as I asked and the fresh fruit on the side was a nice refreshing snack.

This place is a cozy hidden gem with great food and service! We wanted to try something new, off the beaten path and this place did not disappoint. We started with the bruschetta, absolutely amazing! I got the adrenaline junky pizza and it is in my top 10, very good crust and topping to match. My wife got the pasta bianco and we will be coming back for that dish. They make their own pasta in house and have an extensive cocktail menu. We finished with the gingerbread crème brûlée and it was fantastic, would get again. Definitely will be coming back!

I started this experience semi-obligatory, but with excitement to explore something new. Once I arrived, I was greeted quickly and sat. I looked over the menu and was very impressed with the ingredients themselves, as well as how they built the dishes. Avery was refreshingly attentive in a way that didn't feel forced, and I didn't feel rushed. I ordered something I'd get from a cafe, or could make quickly at home. I submitted my order, and immediately had a thought to change it. I was here to be able to share my experience after all. She didn't get upset with me. I understand that may seem like an unheard of compliment, but having to put a ticket in and then change it and informing the kitchen: that can sometimes lead to them being berated and that translates to the guest's experience. She accepted the change graciously and continued service as wonderfully as before. I'd gotten a specialty coffee drink from the coffee bar outside, so I had water for most of the meal, and orange juice near the end. It was light, sweet, and cold. Tasted fresh squeezed, or at least of good quality store-bought. I had the wheat pancakes. From reading the menu, I already had high expectations of the flavor profile. It exceeded even those. From visual appeal to smell, texture, TASTE... mmmm! The lemon cinnamon whip was well balanced. Light, flavorful. It's easy to go heavy w/cinnamon, as it has a bold taste, but it didn't overpower the other ingredients. The strawberry coulis literally brought tears to my eyes. It tastes just like my Grandma Carolyn's homemade strawberry jelly. I live across the country now and don't get to see her often, so that subtle reminder of home was heart-wrenching in the best way. I'm a picky eater, so I usually order items deconstructed, and taste each item individually & then together (if it's something I can stomach). Every single part was delicious on its own. Each component of the dish complemented each other so well. Even as I leaned in to take a bite of pancake slathered in the whip & dabbed with coulis, the sweet citrusy aroma of the orange slice twist joined the dance the others were already in. Music was enjoyable. Lighting was perfect. Seats were comfortable. The view outside the window was even phenomenal. It was a feast for all the senses. I came as part of Breck 101, but I will be back and bring friends and family to enjoy this hidden gem in my personal life. P.S. I am coming out of the worst depressive episode I've ever had and in that euphoric portion of "everything is so much lighter." Each bite I took, I thought, "I know I feel better, but there is no way it tastes this good. Let me try again." & each bite was just as amazing. I kept shaking my head and holding back tears. To add some perspective, I made pancakes from scratch yesterday. They were fluffy and buttery and so good I didn't have to throw out the first one, but these were even better. Thank you to the Chefs, the other staff, and to Avery for making this a memorable dining experience.

Edwin’s has a beautiful environment. Very modern but cozy and relaxed. You can come for an elegant meal or some gourmet pizzas. It seems like it could be family, friendly, or a romantic dinner for two. The employees really care that you have a great experience. Super smiley, super accommodating. And very welcoming . My waitress Jean was the bomb. She could feel my every move She recommended the surf and turf, it was lovely. My favorite was the espresso chocolate cake with lemon, whip, whipped cream! To die for. It’s kind of a must share because it’s so rich . They have live music in the atrium of the hotel so you can enjoy that as well. They also have a private Speakeasy called the Canary. Pretty cool! The Whole hotel is an experience. Make sure to check out all the awesome art!

Go for the elk green chile inside a house sourdough bread bowl, squash ravioli and lavender-honey cheesecake for dessert. Attentive service, including from our bartender Eric. Ask to go to the Canary speakeasy after dinner and get a custom (as in you call it, but top shelf) cocktail from Danny.

First visit We went there for my birthday with friends. We enjoyed the food and especially the atmosphere. Classy, and spacious. A welcome addition to the Nrexk fine dining scene, where most other options are very cramped. We definitely plan to return!

I ordered the avocado toast and a latte – both were absolutely delicious! The presentation was spot on and the coffee was really smooth and flavorful. The atmosphere was super cozy and welcoming. Definitely planning to come back for dinner soon! Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a wonderful birthday dinner here. I had the ribeye which was pricey but stellar. She had the chicken and it was fabulous. We also had a really great dessert — the creme brûlée. The pickled blueberries in it were a beautiful touch. We had a terrific view as well.

Nice meal here at Edwin - part of Alpenrock Curio collection hotel. After a long ski day we went for more casual date - lots of salads - White Caesar was excellent!- soups (yummy squash soup and hearty elk chili ) we split two pizzas including Fire on the Mountain and a special duck confit with taleggio cheese - I found that a little bit sweet for my liking. We had a side of Brussels sprouts that were crispy and fresh with a good sauce The pizzas were made in a special oven but probably not hot enough- the dough could have used a little more time so I’m sure you can ask for that. Decor is alpine mid century - lots of seating and they can easily take a larger party. Worth a drive up to check out

Eating at the Edwin is such an experience. You walk in, and you feel that you're part of Breckenridge's history. The mocktails there are yummy and not a bad price, either. We loved the array of the colors of the food that was borough out. The streak is a MUST-TRY!

Enjoyed breakfast here as part of my hotel stay. Delicious Breck fast, pancakes, cinnamon roll and acai yogurt granola bowl. Service was very attentive and we were offered much appreciated coffee refills several times.

What a trendy and delicious spot. Have a good mix of different dishes and based on someone else’s recommendation did the Fire on the Mountain pizza which has pepperoni, tomato’s, garlic and burrata. Amazing! Also got the fruit tart skillet and wow, that was outstanding. My partner got the bread pudding and I sampled it too was delicious. Service was outstanding and shout out to Jelly for excellent service.

Edwin is an amazing restaurant inside of Hotel Alpenrock. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking, and you can see all of the surrounding mountains. We ate here for Breakfast and it was so good. The Montezuma hash was super tasty and the elk sausage was amazing. I had never tried elk before. Everyone working there was super friendly and attentive. I also treated myself to a mimosa which was the cherry on top. We cant wait to come back for dinner!

Went to Edwin with my spouse and a few close friends. We ordered quite a few different things, and it was all so good! Specifically we were raving about the Fire on the Mountain pizza, the green chili, and the trout entree. Our cocktails were well crafted and dangerously delicious. The interior has a fantastic upscale but cozy ambiance. We will definitely be back.

I had the chance to experience Edwin’s through Breck 101 for breakfast and it was AMAZING! I went on the first day of the new menu so I got The Benediction and it was the best I ever had. The chef even came out to ask what I thought! 10/10!

In this newly refurbished hotel, the Edwin dining room is a light and airy space with touches of mountain modern I started with a glass of the Cava and the Caesar salad -perfect! Then I went for the trout, which is what I had last time I ate here and loved. It's a lovely piece of fish presented with 2 sauces, a vegetable/quinoa mirepoix and carrots

Immaculate. The food was unbelievable, our server Donald and the atmosphere were top notch. If you're staying here or are nearby, it is absolutely worth checking out!

Fantastic experience! The Burrata was excellent and very easy to eat. Also had the Elk Bolognese and flour less chocolate cake which I highly recommend. The pizzas are also fantastic. The menu is great for vegan or vegetarian

Edwin is a true gem, offering a unique and cozy ambiance that feels both timeless and brand new. The thoughtfully designed space, with its elegant yet inviting furniture, creates an atmosphere that is perfect for any occasion. The service is exceptional—professional, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, making you feel at home from the moment you step in. The food is simply outstanding. We tried the steak, which was phenomenal—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and tender. The trout was equally impressive, showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients and expert preparation. Each dish is presented with gourmet attention to detail, elevating the dining experience even further. Edwin is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable meal in a refined yet comfortable setting. Highly recommended!

For breakfast, the brioche French toast was a treat, and the Peak 9 burrito was perfect. For dinner, we loved the Local Legend pizza, blackberry & goat cheese salad and Peak 9 smash burger. I wouldn't normally order roasted chicken with steak and bison short ribs as options on the menu, but it's probably the best I've ever had. Great views too!

G

We ate the duck and the rib eye. They both were fabulous in flavor. The duck was a little on the small side though while the rib eye was massive. The apple buttercake was also very tasty. Thanks for a great dinner.

We had a fantastic experience and enjoyed the amazing mountain views. The Peking Duck pizza is a "must try" and the squash ravioli was delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the food arrived quickly, making for an all-around enjoyable dinner.

Great Food & Welcoming Atmosphere! Had an amazing meal at Edwin! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy yet upscale. I really appreciated the vegan options—they had thoughtful, flavorful dishes rather than just an afterthought. The kitchen was also happy to make modifications, which was a nice touch. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious, and the wine selection was excellent. Definitely a spot I’d come back to next time I’m in Breckenridge!

Had a wonderful dinner at Edwin after a long day of skiing. Service was great, we were seated right away and our server was very attentive. Food was excellent, we had the steak which was seasoned and cooked perfectly, as well as a pizza which was very good. Also had the elk chili, butternut squash soup, and a Cesar salad; all very delicious, and our kids loved the grilled chicken and French fries. Couldn’t have had a better experience!

During our visit, we chose to dine at the bar rather than at a table, we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. Garrett, the bartender, was both friendly and professional, making us feel like old friends from the moment we arrived. His easygoing yet attentive style struck the perfect balance between warm hospitality and professionalism. The cocktails were delicious and beautifully presented, including some tasty, edible garnishes. The food was equally exceptional, and Garrett’s recommendations were spot-on. We truly enjoyed everything we tried and are already looking forward to returning to sample more of the menu.

This place has great food and an amazing atmosphere! The service was impeccable and everyone was very kind. There was a variety of breakfast options to choose from and the food was fresh. You could tell that the orange juice was freshly squeezed and tasted delicious. Would definitely come here and recommend it to others.

Nice restaurant with full floor to ceiling windows. Great views of Breck. For Christmas they offered a buffet. I ordered off the menu. Sat at the bar and appreciated recommendations. Food and service were good. This restaurant is in the Alpenrock hotel. I would dine here again.

We had an incredible experience at Edwin at the Hilton Alpenrock during my girlfriend’s birthday dinner, and I wanted to take a moment to recognize Aidan for his outstanding customer service. From the moment we sat down, Aidan was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. His knowledge of the menu was excellent, and he guided us through our choices with ease and confidence, making the entire decision-making process pleasant and stress-free. He offered thoughtful recommendations and ensured everything flowed perfectly throughout the evening. Most importantly, Aidan went above and beyond to help make my girlfriend’s birthday truly memorable. His attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and commitment to exceptional service elevated our entire dining experience. Because of him, the night felt special rather than just another dinner. Thank you, Aidan, for your hard work and for providing such excellent customer service. Experiences like this are what keep guests coming back, and we look forward to returning again soon.

5 star for our waitress, Mikee, she was fabulous, very welcoming and friendly. 4 star for the food. It was good, nothing to write home about, but we did enjoy our meal. The 10th Mountain Bourbon Maple Syrup that comes with the pancakes is excellent.

Had dinner with some friends at the Edwin. Everyone had the Bison short rib and enjoyed it. The place was empty but it took a long time to get our food. Some of the dishes were spicy but didn't say they were which took people by suprise. Brussel sprouts weren't cooked all the way. Creme brulee was not creamy. Atmosphere was very nice. Hopefully they are just working out the kinks of a new place and they will hit their stride.

We had a buffet for the International Snow Sculpture teams. The food was excellent and wait staff were very prompt clearing dishes and refilling water.

If your staying at Hotel Alpenrock, I would recommend you try Edwin. The restaurant has a cozy vibe and great views. The staff were professional and kind. They made the best drinks I had in breckenridge as I was disappointed with both drinks and food on our breckenridge trip. The food was great and the star of the show was the elk green chilie stew!!!! As for the rest of the food it was ok but chiken was a bit dry. Overall, I do believe its worth what they charge and would come back!!!

Don't know if we picked a bad day, but 3 of the items we came for were all out. Beautiful restaurant, good bar, and the food that was left was really good.

Overall good atmosphere and contemporary decor, though some of our group had the feeling of being in a hotel restaurant, which it is. Probably a multipurpose room. The menu is a bit limited at this time. 4 entrees and pizza for mains. Plus sides and apps. There is a large bar, but their featured cocktails were very limited. The ones we had were fine. Caeser salad was good, fresh and crisp. Bread for the focaccia was a bit boring. Brussel sprouts were well seasoned. Most had pizza. Unfortunately, all of them were undercooked. Soft undercooked crust. Server, to her credit, informed the pizza chefs. Looking at others coming out later they appeared to be more cooked. But that shouldn't have happened... I had the trout, which was good. Being in a town that can be tough to park, the validated valet parking was nice. We will give them another chance, but not until next season after they settle in more. At this time, they seem to be focused on serving hotel guests. Based on the article in Summit Daily, I expected more.

It was a disastrous dinner. The mushroom lasagna was clumped in a solid mess. Exactly how a frozen reheated bunch of pasta would be. The lobster risotto was partly oatmeal in consistency and partly uncooked. The duck pizza was passable but that was a disappointment seeing they had a nice open fire pizza oven so I expected that the pizza would have been fantastic. My fillet mignon was overdone and couldn't be eaten. Thankfully they recooked a new portion for me which was perfect . Guadalupe was our server and she was the saving grace, managing many tables efficiently and very pleasantly. This restaurant has the potential to be very good if the establishment gets its act together. The perfectly done fillet mignon proves that the skill set is there. More tweaking required.

Good food and gorgeous design, but expensive for the level of service. Our Waitress was no smile, asked us to repeat everything because the music was so loud, and was not at all friendly. We ordered drinks and the fire alarm goes off before we are served. We have to leave. A manager comes by and says don't worry, just smoke in the kitchen, and then others forced us to go across the street until the fire department clears it. 30 mins later we are told we can return. No apology, no let me comp the appetizer for the inconvenience, just back to business with no acknowledgement of the disruption. It could have been handled better and been an opportunity for a service oriented organization to shine. They did not. As good as the food is, the lackluster service makes for a mediocre experience.

Half chicken - salty. It was cooked well and there is a copious amount of chicken, but it was salty. The side of asparagus tips, wild mushrooms, and onions was adequate but not amazing. Overall a moderate meal.

We booked a reservation under the Valentine’s Day Special but when we arrived we were given normal menus and told they were out of the special menu. A heads up would’ve been nice before we arrived because the special was the other reason we chose this location. We waited 40 mins for appetizers and well over an hour for undercooked pizza. Our server was great and our check was discounted. I would not recommend this location.

Y
YI XIAO

Food was ok (very pricey tho for the quality of food you get). Service can be hit or miss based on the review there. Our waiter was quite rude. We waited for food for more than 30 min, and only got the (cold) food after escalating the issue (the restaurant wasn’t crowded at all)

J
Jake Metz

Not sure if they were just having one of "those" nights or not but it was a very difficult experience. Took over 3 hours to have dinner with at least 20-30 minutes between courses. Even if it was an off night the food is NOT worth that price. I recommend other restaurants around area for that price. You could get a Tomahawk at breck distillery for that price. Most tables in the place were mad/frustrated with the wait it seemed. Besides that the staff was very lovely through it all.

P
Paul Dziewit

Not sure what is happening here but our service was horrible at best. There were maybe 6-7 tables of people and nobody at the bar. We ordered drinks that took over 25 minutes to get to the table and were barely tolerable. We needed to adjust them at the table to make them drinkable. I had the cauliflower steak, which was nothing more than two small flourettes for 24 dollars and the peach cobbler was nothing more than canned peaches with some toppings. One of our party ordered a drink with vodka NOT gin due to an allergy. The drink came and he said it had gin, server said no it is vodka, server asked bartender and sure enough it had gin. Hopefully by ski season they will work through the problems but at this point they are not ready for a full crowd. So sorry that our daughter paid for our dinner as the service and quality was so far below an acceptable level.

S
Sridhar Cuddalore Parthasarathy

Great Ambience! But food, not that good at all. This is the state of a crème brûlée. The picture speaks for itself. Lift the pizza, and it instantly disintegrates, no dips offered to appetizers even on request. They let us eat the whole dinner on a side plate.

T
Taylor David

Probably the worst restaurant in breck. Water was leaking from the ceiling dripping on my head. Pizza is very underwhelming, undercooked. Menu isn’t original, everything is so overdone. It gets two stars for service because someone brought me an umbrella for the dripping water from the ceiling.

B
Becca Nordeen

Disappointed. Had a reservation, arrived to a nearly empty restaurant. Stood at host stand long enough for 3 servers to say “someone will be right with you”. Elongated timing and waits throughout the service. Food was bad. Nothing interesting about the caesar salad or broccolini. Pizza dough was under cooked and way too much cheese on pizza. Worst was that the entree side came out first, we had to send it back to ask for the salad. When salad arrived they said the pizza and side was ready and did we want everything at once. Nope, I wanted salad first so now the entree waits and gets cold. Staff is pleasant but the restaurant and culinary operations need a lot of attention

Absolutely nightmare of an experience. Booked reservations for Valentine’s Day a few months in advance. Arrived 30 minutes before our reservation where we were redirected to their speakeasy which was a great experience. We leave at 8 - the time of our reservation and were told the kitchen was behind and to sit at the bar. We were sat about 20 minutes afterwards at which point we order drinks and chose from the valentines preselected coursed meal. We never saw a server and after a full hour and a half (it’s now 9:30 pm) we have no appetizers or have even seen our server. We spoke to a manager and left with our bottle of wine and it was incredibly disappointing considering their front of house had at least 10 people standing around ignoring their guests but apparently their kitchen can’t handle four entrees. Luckily they didn’t charge us but what an incredible waste of time and effort and just an overall miserable experience.

I would first like to say that I was not impressed by this place. Our server was excellent, and that was the only highlight of our meal. On the other hand, my family had multiple experiences, which were all terrible. We came for breakfast, and ordered the buffet as well as the food on the menu. The buffet food was quite bad. First of all, the plates were extremely dirty, there were moldy berries, and the food was cold. Our experience on the menu was the same. I ordered the avocado toast. The lettuce was wilted, and the avocado was all brown. I was extremely disappointed with this meal. My other family members ordered the eggs Benedict. They had similar experiences to me to where their avocados were brown. Not only was this meal bad, but we had to wait 45 minutes for our meal to come out just fouàyhyr us to be disappointed. To conclude, I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they have hours to wait, and enjoy old food. If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would.

I have never given less than a 5 star review in my life. We own retail stores and understand the importance of google reviews. This has to be the absolute worse service and food we have ever had. The lack of concern from the waitress and management front more than 3/4s or the restaurant complaining is very concerning. He food for our table was brought out hours apart, never received drinks from the bar and when every one’s food was brought most was cold and even frozen. We were willing to pay and just leave and then realized everyone around was experiencing the same service. I am sorry goes a long way but they did not apologize to anyone. One table said they had been there 2 hours and didn’t even get a drink. I suggest you do not go!

A
Angel Torres

Make sure you don't make a reservation on the same night they host a wedding because they'll take almost 2 hours from when you order to bring your food out. Really nice looking restaurant, you'd think they'd have better customer service. Food was good, not amazing but not bad either.
